Wrath Of Cornelia

Cornelia is determined to defeat Zero and the Black Knights. Lelouch's best friend, Suzaku, is assisting Cornelia, even though Lelouch believes that he and Suzaku have similar goals. C. C. is there to help Lelouch, because of her strong bond with him. Deep down, Cornelia has good intentions, but she proves to be a real challenge on the battlefield.

1. Chapter 1

Princess Cornelia arrived near the hideout of the Black Knights, while riding on top of the Lancelot. Underneath his mask, Zero looked shocked. Zero (talking in his head): "Cornelia got access to the Lancelot? Does that mean Suzaku is involved with this war? He is. He's my best friend, so I want him to be safe. Also, the last thing I want is for the two of us to be on opposing sides of the war."

The Lancelot flied to the ground. Cornelia's military men and women arrived in mechs. Cornelia jumped off the mech and landed on her feet. She stood by General Darlton and Guilford. Cornelia smugly smiled at Zero. The Lancelot opened up and out came Suzaku. He started climbing down.

Zero (talking in his head): "Suzaku is really with them? How could he do this? He told me he wants to stop Britannia's discrimination and help save Japan. I can't believe he made such a foolish decision."

Suzaku stood by Cornelia. Cornelia pulled out a sword and playfully pointed it at Zero. Cornelia said, "Greetings, Zero. I must say it's great to finally have us together, face-to-face. You thought you could get away with your little games, your betrayals, your lies, and any other crime you may of caused, but I'm here to stop all of that from happening."

Zero replied, "You're mistaken, Cornelia. You Britannians are the problem. You and the other members of the Britannian kingdom have let innocent Japanese people suffer just because you want to feel superior to them. If anything, your behavior is pathetic, and it shows how cowardly you really are."

Cornelia frowned with confusion. Guilford and Suzaku gave Zero a disapproving look, while Darlton looked ticked-off at Zero. Cornelia asked, "How could you think us Britannians are cowardly? We accomplished far braver tasks than your Area 11 buddies ever have or could accomplish."

Zero replied, "The reason the Emperor started having his own people protest against Japan seems pretty clear to me. He's a paranoid old man, who wants his subjects to fight against another country, so they won't focus on how badly he's running his own country."

Cornelia angrily responded, "How dare you mock my father, Emperor Charles. He has an excellent job at running this country. Britannia would be better than ever, if you greedy Area 11's accepted the fact that Japan isn't a real country. It's just a number and it'll never be anything else."

Zero said, "I'm a number, as well. In fact, I'm the smallest number there is. Despite that, I'm going to accomplish amazing feats, that you Britannians could never accomplish. I'm going to bring freedom and peace to Japan."

Cornelia replied, "Area 11 deserves none of that. You people have done a countless amount of crimes. You see, Zero, are the worst offender of vigilante "justice." Do you remember shooting my brother, Prince Clovis?"

Zero said, "Yes and he had that coming. I ask of you to face the reality that the Britannian's discrimination has gone out of control and needs to be stopped. If you don't, you'll have to suffer the same fate that Clovis faced."

Cornelia smiled, while saying, "It's amusing that you think you could stop me."

Zero replied, "I managed to stop Clovis, and that was without the help of my current team. How could you stop me?"

Cornelia responded, "Allow me to show you, my dear enemy."

Cornelia faced her team, while saying, "The time has come, to get rid of Zero and all of his Black Knights. Defeat every single of them. It's time we bring pride and honor, to our wonderful country."

Suzaku, Darlton and Guilford bowed to Cornelia. Suzaku got into the Lancelot. Zero looked back at the Black Knights, while Diethard eagerly recorded what was going on. Zero said, "Alright, teammates. This is your chance to prove that Japan has hope. Britannia has done your country a countless number of injustices, so let's give Japan it's justice."

Tohdoh replied, "We will, Zero."

Zero and Cornelia both shouted, "Defeat the enemies!"

Zero started punching Darlton. Darlton looked amused, as he kicked Zero to the ground. Tohdoh jumped in the air and punched Darlton in the stomach. Darlton was hurt, but he pretended to be fine.

Darlton said, "Greetings, General Tohdoh. Are you actually following Zero's orders?"

Tohdoh answered, "You bet I am."

Darlton looked amused, while saying, "You made a terrible life-decision, but this is hardly surprising. You Japanese never can make rational choices, can you?"

Tohdoh responded, "The Japanese are honorable and noble, unlike the Britannian military. You see all Japanese as worthless. You ought to be ashamed of yourself."

Zero asked, "What kind of world do we live in, where the military are the bad guys?"

Darlton explained, "You're talking about a fantasy land. The military are the heroes. Zero, you're a costumed fool, who's desperately trying to prove he's something of value."

Guilford got out his sword and charges=d toward Zero. Zero pulled a sword out of his cape and started using it, to have a sword fight with Guilford. Guilford tried to stab Zero, but Zero jumped in the air, in order to avoid it. Guilford tried again, but Zero ducked. Zero tried to use his sword on Guilford, but Guilford ran away from Zero.

Zero said, "Well, it appears Cornelia picked a coward to be her knight."

Guilford responded, "No, I'm being rational."

Zero responded, "Nobody on the Britannian military is rational."

Darlton snuck behind Zero and punched him to the ground. Zero tried to get up, but Darlton stood on him. Darlton laughed, before Tohdoh grabbed him and kicked him to the ground. Zero and Tohdoh punched Darlton in the face. Guilford charged towards them, but Zero and Tohdoh heard him coming and punched him to the ground.

Zero said, "Excellent teamwork, Tohdoh."

Tohdoh replied, "Thank you, Zero." Zero and Tohdoh shook hands.

Kallen started using her piloting skills, to fly her mech around and blast random mechs, that were being driven by Cornelia's soldiers. A couple of mechs grabbed a hold of Kallen's mech. The two men operating the mechs had smug smiles on their faces. However, Kallen looked smugger than either of them. Kallen said, "You guys thought you've got me, but you couldn't be anymore wrong." Kallen blasted both mechs, at the same time. The two men quickly ran out of their mechs, before the mechs blew up. Kallen had a proud smile on her face.

Suddenly, the Lancelot started charging towards Kallen's mech. Suzaku used the Lancelot to start blasting Kallen's mech. Kallen looked upset and confused. She asked, "What is going on?"

Suzaku answered, "I'm going to bring down this nasty team of vigilantes."

Kallen paused and put her hand on her chin. She said, "Your voice sounds familiar."

Suzaku replied, "So does yours. You're Kallen Stadtfeld, aren't you? You're a member of Ashford Academy College's Student Council."

Kallen responded, "Hey, you sound like Ashford Academy's new student, Suzaku. You're the one, who got framed for the murder of Prince Clovis?"

Suzaku looked annoyed, while saying, "Yes, I got framed for Zero's dirty work."

Kallen angrily replied, "How dare you be so ungrateful. Zero helped you escape from getting arrested. He rescued you and cleared your name."

Suzaku responded, "That might be true, but I got framed for a crime he didn't. He didn't do me a favor. I wouldn't of even gotten into that mess, if it wasn't for him."

Kallen said, "Fine, but he made up for it, by getting you out of that mess. He went to a lot of trouble for him. You should be forgiving him."

Suzaku looked angry, while saying, "That's not going to happen. The type of crimes, that that heartless vigilante has inflicted onto Britannia, are vile crimes. He murdered Prince Clovis and now he's planning on bringing the entire Britannian kingdom down."

Kallen responded, "It deserves to go down."

Suzaku shook his head and replied, "No. Zero and the Black Knights are the ones that need to go down. I'm going to be a part of making that happen."

Tamaki stopped snoring. He looked up and saw that the war had started. He started charging towards one of the mechs, but the mech he was in gets blasted and he fell to the ground. He said, "Wow, I suck at this war stuff."

Ohgi used his mech to start blasting some of the other mechs. He said, "You guys have dared to disgrace Japan. You all must be stopped. You Britannians are rotten, corrupt monsters." Ohgi (talking in his head): "What am I saying? I'm speaking as if all Britannians are evil people, but I know that's not the case. Zero is a Britannian person, but he's not a bad person. In fact, he's being more helpful than anybody else, in our war against Britannia. We don't know who he is or what his motives are, but he's our greatest chance at achieving peace for Japan."

Diethard started filming around the battleground. He looked around and saw Princess Cornelia, who casually strolling along the battlefield. He asked, "What are you doing, Princess Cornelia?"

Cornelia said, "I could ask you the same thing, Diethard. You're a Britannian broadcaster. You were the finest one we've had. Why are you siding with the enemies? You have no reason to."

Diethard replied, "You're wrong about that. I wasn't having the exciting, life-changing broadcasts I deserved, from working for you guys. I was broadcasting such plain and mundane affairs. I tried to spice things up, with my wit and charm, but it was so boring. When Zero came along, everything changed. He's the most exciting and charismatic figure, that I've ever come across."

Cornelia responded, "Diethard, you're so petty."

Diethard smugly stared at her, while saying, "Give me a break. The Britannian military is full of the petty ones. They fight against the Japanese for the most pointless of reason. Zero and the Black Knights have something to fight for. That makes the stakes higher. They're heroic, adventurous, and epic. I'm just waiting for you biased fools to face the punishment you deserve."

Cornelia gave Diethard a disapproving look, before saying, "How dare you mock your own country, you smug trader."

Zero walked by and faced Cornelia. He said, "You want to wage a war against me, yet you stand around and trade insults with my cameraman? It appears Diethard's right about you being petty."

Cornelia replied, "You're wrong, Zero. I wanted you to look around and see my men and women beat the energy out of your Black Knights. Afterwards, I was planning on bringing you down."

Zero responded, "If you really think you have what it takes to bring me down, you'll have to prove it."

Zero started getting his fists ready. Cornelia had an amused look on her face. She got her sword ready. Diethard pointed his news camera at Zero and Cornelia. Diethard said, "Zero, Japan's greatest hero vs. Cornelia, the vile leader of the Britannian military. This is going to be the perfect event, to get the Black Knights some real credibility and to show that Zero's the one who's going to change the world."

Zero said, "Cornelia, do you actually think you have a chance at bringing me down?"

Cornelia replied, "Of course I do, Zero. I'm not one to kid myself, with false dreams I'll never bring to life. That's more than I can say for you. You'll never rise to the ranks of the world's greatest or most inspiring heroes. In fact, you're not a hero."

Zero said, "You're wrong about that, Cornelia. I'm a very special type of hero."

Cornelia thought about that and replied, "I suppose you could be viewed as an anti-hero, but that's hardly a title of honor."

Zero responded, "I'm neither a generic hero or an anti-hero. I am a superhero!"

Cornelia rolled her eyes, while Diethard looked overjoyed. Diethard said, "A real-life superhero. Considering how popular the imaginary superheroes are, the world is sure to flip-out, in a good way, over Japan having its' very own Zero. Oh, Zero, you are nothing short of the greatest."

Zero replied, "Diethard's the only one around here, who seems to have an accurate opinion of me."

Cornelia scoffed and started charging towards Zero. She said, "Zero, I, Cornelia Li Britannia, will be the one that destroys you!"

Zero jumped out of the way. Cornelia slipped and fell down. Zero stood around, with his hands on his hips, while Cornelia chuckled. Cornelia laid on the ground, while looking ticked-off at Zero.

Zero said, "That was a pathetic move, Cornelia. I expected nothing better from you."

Cornelia made an evil-looking smile. She stood up and laughed to herself. She said, "Oh, Zero, you're such an over-confident slime ball. Your actions are tasteless, but watching you fall to your doom will be tastier than forty cakes."

Diethard replied, "I should have that line in my broadcast. It would be a perfect line, for a commercial for cakes. Even the bad guys are bringing good things to my broadcast. I'm loving this."

Cornelia walked closer to Zero. Zero tried to punch her, but she grabbed him and knocked him to the ground. She got out her sword and pointed it to towards Zero. She grinned, while saying, "Zero, you have done unspeakable crimes. For that, you will no longer be allowed to continue your crusade, as Japan's vigilante and so-called superhero. If you surrender now, I might consider just having your Black Knights locked up, rather than eliminated."

Zero replied, "Me and my teammates would rather sacrifice our lives, into making the world a better place, rather than waste time in a cell."

Cornelia responded, "Fair point. Besides, keeping you alive would be too dangerous." Cornelia was about to stab Zero, but C. C. jumped in the air and kicked Cornelia in the stomach.

Diethard looked at her, while saying, "I thought you didn't get involved in battles."

C. C. replied, "I make exceptions, when I feel like it."

Diethard (talking in his head): "If she hadn't come around, Zero wouldn't have gotten stabbed. I now see why Zero keeps her around. It seems like she's proven herself, as an essential member of the team."

C. C. looked down and saw Cornelia accidentally drop her sword. She smirked and picked up the sword. Cornelia tried to grab it out of C. C.'s hands, but C. C. kept a tight grip on it. Cornelia angrily stared at C. C. Cornelia said, "I don't know who you are, but you better let go of my sword."

C. C. smirked at Cornelia, while saying, "I don't think you have the right, to be the one who's giving orders. I have the sword and I can do a lot of damage with it."

Cornelia looked a bit nervous, while asking, "What are you going to do with that?"

C. C. replied, "Bring you down. Goodbye, Cornelia."

C. C. threw the sword at Cornelia. Diethard gasped. Cornelia looked like she was in pain, but she quickly started smirking and laughing. Zero, C. C., and Diethard all look confused.
