Brittany's POV

I wouldn't have told Quinn, but I was actually excited to be part of the glee club. Sure, I knew that Quinn, Santana, and Sue were working to "destroy the glee club," but I didn't want to take part in that at all. I enjoyed meeting the new people and got along with almost all of them quite well. Rachel was annoying, but I felt like I belonged in the club. The best part was, I got to dance.

I became very busy with Cheerios (practice, games, and competitions), dance lessons, school, celibacy club, and glee club. But even though I was super busy, glee club was worth it. It was a great way to keep my mind off all the bad things in my life, including my argument with Santana.

I hated the time when Santana was upset with me. Once we made up, though, we had an arrangement that I was happy with. It let me sleep with Santana with no strings attached.

Still, I wished that Santana would just accept that she liked girls. Maybe it would make her less angry at the world. But there wasn't anything I could do about it unless I wanted her to be upset with me again.

After glee club one day, Kurt approached me with Tina beside him.

"You take dance lessons, right?" he asked me.

"Yup," I replied.

"Would you like to make a dance video with Tina and me?"

"Like today?"

"As long as that works for you. Tina's coming over to my house anyway. So, would you like to help us?" He seemed hopeful, plus it sounded like a lot of fun.

"Okay."

"W-will you be, be g-getting a ride wit-th us, Britt... Brittany?" Tina stuttered.

"I'll just tell Santana," I said.

I ran over to Santana and told her that I would be going to Kurt's with Tina instead of to her house after school.

"Why are you friends with them?" she asked.

"I told you this before: I like them. They want my help, so I'm going," I said.

I had a lot of fun with Kurt and Tina. The dance that Kurt wanted to make a video of was the Single Ladies dance. I'd learned it previously because I'd always been obsessed with Beyoncé, so I was able to teach the dance to Kurt and Tina.

The next day, Santana came to my house after school.

"I think you might have fun with Tina and Kurt if you gave them a chance," I said to Santana.

"The point is to 'destroy the glee club,' not befriend it," Santana replied.

"Yeah, but do you actually want to 'destroy the glee club'?" I asked. "I know how much you love to sing, and you seemed happy in glee club yesterday."

"Fine, maybe I do like the glee club, but Quinn and I need to listen to Sue."

"You could just act dumb so that she doesn't hate you if you mess up... like me."

"You're a genius, Brittany," she said.

"That's beside the point. Sue won't get mad at me when I mess up because she's expecting me to mess up."

Santana sighed. "I'm sorry, but I'm going to keep helping Sue, and you should too, if you know what's good for you."

During any class that I had with Santana, I would watch her. She was always acting as though she didn't care, when it was obvious she did. She wanted good grades; I knew that. Probably half the kids in the class glanced at Santana in intervals. She'd gained a reputation, as had I, and people often stared at us.

Still, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if Santana and I could really be together. I was at least 99% sure that she liked me, and I definitely liked her. Maybe, just maybe, we could be together some day. At least, I was hoping that it would happen some day.
