Epilogue
Santana's POV
Fall 2020
"Santana! You're going to be late!" my mami yelled from the kitchen.
I looked at Brittany and smiled. "We want to make an entrance!" I hollered back.
Dressed in our red and white outfits (that we were told we had to wear, but we were past pretending to be cool, so we were happy to do so), we were ready to go to the official opening of the Finn Hudson auditorium at WMHS. Knowing it was definitely time to make our way from my parents' house to the school, Brittany and I made our way downstairs from my childhood bedroom.
"Mama," our daughter said from her spot in my mother's arms, reaching out to us. She didn't have a large vocabulary yet, but her face was enough to convince me not to go anywhere.
"We have to go now, angel," Brittany said to our daughter.
"Have fun, you two." My mom pushed us towards the front door. "You don't need to rush back though; I'm more than happy to watch her for you."
"I know, Mami," I replied, quickly hugging her and our daughter in the process before heading out the door.
"You know we're gonna have to visit a lot more once this baby arrives," Brittany said smiling, her hands on her still-flat stomach.
"Trust me, I know." I wrapped my arm around Brittany's shoulder as we walked to our car before getting into the driver's seat to drive us to the school.
The parking lot at the school was already quite full with a lot of familiar, and a lot of not-so-familiar vehicles. While we didn't keep in constant touch with everyone who was in the glee club with us, we still spent time with them when the opportunity presented itself.
"Are you ready?" Brittany asked as we got out of our car.
I nodded, grinning, and grabbing Brittany's hand. "Let's do this."
This is it! The end of this fanfiction!
I am so sorry for how long it took me to complete it, but with all the major changes in my life that happened over the last few years (graduating high school, starting a job, applying for colleges, etc.), it was hard to write a lot of the time.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported this story and my writing! I am eternally grateful for everyone who pushed me to write and finish this story!
