El Morro and his friends are now getting ready for biathlon. It is a winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting as a matter of fact. They have never done biathlon of course. They will keep an eye on what they are shooting by the way. One of them will win the gold medal. Let's hope that El Morro and his friends will do good at biathlon.
"Here we are, boys." said El Morro. "This is a biathlon."
"I have never done that before." said Ben.
"Same here." said El Morro. "In fact, this is the first time that we are doing it."
"Is that the one where it combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting?" Jon asked.
"Yes, it is." said El Morro. "Make sure that you don't shoot off target."
"We won't." said Joe.
"You won't have enough points to win a medal." said El Morro.
"It takes a lot of practice to do the rifle shooting." said Jon.
"Yes, it is." said El Morro. "Let's go to our positions."
El Morro and his friends went to their positions.
"We will start the clock starts." said El Morro.
"Okay." said Jon.
The clock starts and El Morro and his friends began doing cross country skiing.
"And we are underway." said El Morro. "Make sure that you ski faster if you're in last place."
Jon made it to the shooting range first and shoots five targets.
"I am good at shooting targets." said Jon. "My friends are behind me right now."
"Ben just got a penalty after missing a target." said El Morro.
"That is unfortunate." said Jon.
He made it to the second shooting range and shoots five more targets.
"Not a single penalty for me." said Jon. "I can see the finish line."
Jon made it to finish line and the crowd cheered for him.
"And Jon just won a gold medal." said the announcer.
"Great shooting." said Ben.
"Thanks, guys." said Jon. "You can shoot five times without getting a penalty."
Jon have received a gold medal for biathlon. See what happens in the next chapter of this long story.
