Diana, Sue and Nancy are now about to see someone else competing in the next Olympic competition. They have a lot of medals as a matter of fact. They have won more gold medals the others of course. The next competition will the cross-country skiing by the way. Some of their friends are good at skeleton. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will see someone else competing skeleton.
"Here we are, girls." said Diana. "Cross-country skiing."
"I have never competed cross-country skiing." said Sue.
"Me either." said Diana. "In fact, we are about to see one of friends competing cross-country skiing."
"I can't wait to see that." said Nancy.
"Same here." said Diana. "Here she comes."
"Hi, girls." said Brandi.
"Hi, Brandi." said Diana. "What are you doing in here?"
"I decided to compete cross-country skiing so I can win a gold medal." said Brandi.
"That is great." said Diana. "Make sure that you don't fall."
"I won't." said Brandi.
"She has been practicing for it." said Sue.
"I know, girls." said Diana. "We are not as good as her."
"That is true, Di." said Nancy. "Let's see how she does."
They saw Brandi went to her position.
"We can root for her." said Diana.
The clock starts and the race is underway.
"And we are underway." said Sue. "Brandi is in second place right now."
"Don't worry, girls." said Diana. "She will take a lead in a bit."
Diana and her friends saw Brandi taking the lead.
"She is in the lead now." said Sue. "She is winning."
They saw someone else took the lead.
"She is in second place." said Diana. "She is about to make it faster."
"She is trying to, Di." said Sue.
They saw Brandi made it to the finish line.
"And she wins the race." said Diana. "Let's go ahead and congratulate her."
Diana and her friends went to congratulate Brandi.
"Good job for winning the gold medal, Brandi." said Sue.
"Thanks, girls." said Brandi. "I can win another one in the future."
