4. Reunion (The Fatal Reunion Raid)
She was so pretty, Jack Moffitt could have asked her to marry him then and there, at their reunion late in the desert campaign. But she was already married to a man who had once been her savior. She met Jack in the bar, both hoping someday they might be together. Not yet. Then—
He saw her the next time on a ship bound for New York. She had aged, but so had he. He had learned she was widowed. He held her tightly and looked into her now much wiser eyes.
"Gabrielle," he said. "It's time, time for us."

A/N In this episode, Sgt. Jack Moffitt reunites with an old flame of his, Gabrielle (played by Louise Sorel). Two and a half years ago, when he was wounded at Dunkirk, she saved his life. She's now married, but in their closing scene in the bar, the door is left open for a future together.
