-Rachel pov-
School today was so long! The best part of it came from practicing with my mom. Now I am worried because Santanas car just pulled into the drive. She is going to find out how crazy my dads are!
I run to the door and open it to see how much time I have. She is getting out of the car now. I quickly slam the door and run down to the basement. They are preparing to decorate it right now.
I run back upstairs and lock the door. Hopefully their craziness stays downstairs with them. I run to the front door and take a deep breath. I open it and get confused when I do not see Santana.
Was she not outside a bit ago? Did she just die randomly? Did I miss her waking in? Is she going to jump scare me?

"Oh my god they did not" I run to the basement door and unlock it "Please god undo this devil joke on me! Have her knock on the door!"
"This is a blast" I open the door and slowly walk downstairs "I am so glad you all see letting me stay...even after all I had done"
"Forgiveness is for those who deserve it" I walk into the room and see it all decorated now "Now how about Rachel gets off the stairs and joins us"
"So I see you have met them again" I sigh and walk toward Santana "They have not scared you away right?"
"If I want you they come with" Santana smiles and holds up a gold star stocking "Is this yours Miss Broadway Berry?"
"Maybe" The lights flicker and I see fear go across her eyes "I am sure it is nothing major"
She just nods and my dads move to distract her. I hope Daniel and Maribel have made it to the airport. It seemed like their flight was important. I am sure it was just a squirrel getting hurt.
-Time skip-
"There is a blizzard that swept through" I hold Santana close to me as she tenses up "I am still trying to call Dan"
"They have to be ok" Santana looks up at me like a child needing reassurance "Right Rae?"
"They are fine" There is a knock at the door and I look up at Daddy "Can you get it?"
"Yeah" He looks over at dad real quick "Keep trying to call Dan ok Lee?"
Dad nods and daddy walks to the door. The cheer in the house can be felt as it is out on hold. We went from fun to a stand still. We came upstairs when the lights flashed again.
We turned on the news and saw a pop up blizzard came from nowhere. It was supposed to be a huge rain system. Now there is so much snow all over Lima.
"So we have some guests" I turn to see Shelby and Beth walking into the house with bags "Their power has gone out"
"Well we said we would work on been friendlier" Dad walks over and grabs the bags "We have a old crib for her"
"Thank you Lee" he nods and walks off "Hey Santana...sorry we had to crash in"
"We are here to help" Daddy walks over with a smile and holds his hands out to Beth "I also love to see baby's! How is this little one? Can I hold you?"
"Of course" Shelby hands over Beth and daddy lights up even more "I see I made the right choice with Rachel"
"Like we believe we are making the right choice now" I smile at seeing them being genuinely kind "Would you like some hot chocolate?"
"Hello?" Santana is quickly up and so am I "Lee? H to the I?"
"Papi!" Santana sprints to the door and opens it "Papi! Mami!"
"Hey baby" I walk over and see them hugging her "Abuela told us the house has been covered and we can not get back home yet...it seems we are going to be a burden though"
"Never!" Daddy and I groan as dad comes down the stairs "You can finally test my idea! Oh this is wonderful! I mean not the power situation obviously! But the fact I can test this out! Come in and close the door!"
"What is happening?" Dad zooms out of the room and I sigh "Rach?"
I look at the Lopez's with a frown "He has always wanted to have a huge Berry Christmas" I watch as he pulls out a huge advent calendar "That is incase any babies are present in the house during"
"He also has wanted to run a bed and breakfast" Daddy watches and turns toward our guests "I ask as a favor..please just appease this crazy man"
"Well we were heading for our anniversary" Maribel looks over at Daniel "We could just stay here"
"Beth and I were just going to stay at home" Shelby shrugs "I have no qualms staying here..of course my date tomorrow may mind"
"Bring them!" Dad is all smiles "I FINALLY GET MY HANUKKAH WISH! THANK YOU BABY JESUS!"
"Ohh he is the Jewish one!" I chuckle as Santana hugs me from behind "I honestly was not betting on that"
"So this is the plan now?" Maribel nods and Daniel pulls out his phone "Yes hello?...yeah we had a blizzard and can not come..yes..yes..thank you!"
"Oh boy I have to go get the movies!" Dad grabs daddy and drags him away while Beth giggles in his arms "Come with me Hiram! We have guests to please! Bring the baby too!"
"So you inviting Quinn?" We all go wide eyed and turn toward Maribel shocked "Oh please! Judy and I talk on the daily! We keep it tight and hang out you know? The dope things"
"Honey no one talks like that" Daniel walks over with his hand up "The old geezer am I right?"
"Dad she talks like that" Daniel gets a high five from Santana "But good attempt"
"I need new vocabulary" Maribel rolls her eyes and I watch my mom do the same "Please tell me you two are not related"
"No" They both turn and raise a eyebrow "Hey do not copy me! Stop it! Stop it! I was always the better singer! No you were not! Yes I was! Stop copying me you hoe bag!"
"Whoa!" I step in between them "You two know each other?"
"Uh no" Maribel smiles and my mom glares "Not at all"
"I went to NYADA with her" Maribel dramatically puts her hand to her forehead "One of us was better than the other..at giving the teacher head"
"One of us was almost impregnated by the dean" Maribel glares and I look at Daniel just eating cookies while watching "What you got now?"
"At least I actually got a leading role!" Maribel smirks proudly "What did you ever do? Oh that is right! You...you flopped on your audition"
"No I did not" Mom looks away with a pout "I just had a cold"
"Shelby has never been sick" I look at dad who is smiling and holding Beth beside daddy "It was one of the reasons we picked her"
"You let me get the part!" Mom does not respond "You actually wanted to be my friend! You truly did like me!"
"Maybe a little" Maribel runs over and hugs mom who groans "Get off me midget Mari!"
"Finally it is over" Daniel stands up and looks relieved "Now I believe I saw a sowing game? Who wants to sow a blanket?"
Oh this Christmas time is going to be interesting.
