Chapter 2 : Growth
Ayumi was currently looking at a pill in her hands. It looks like a small pearl with a rainbow colored hue.
After thinking for awhile, she finally decided to trust her powers and put it on her mouth. She was surprised when it felt like it melted when it touches her tongue. The taste was also wonderful. She can't understand the taste, she just felt it was delicious.

Then that prompt suddenly appeared on her vision.
"... I got talent!?"
She suddenly exclaimed with a start.
As to why she was surprised, it was because she knows what each of those status can do. She got a description after poking the name of those status on her status panel.
These are what these status can do...
Physique : The overall strength and constitution. Increasing this makes you stronger and tougher.
Fitness : The overall dexterity and agility. Increasing this makes you more faster and flexible.
Wisdom : The overall intellect and wit. Increasing this makes you remember more things and increase all the brain functions.
Creativity : The overall capability for innovation and profound ideas. Increasing this makes you faster on using everything in your knowledge to solve your problems and also do the things you want with your knowledge.
Talent : The overall capability to do things right. Increasing this makes you better and efficient to everything that needs action.
Charisma : The overall capability to be attractive and appealing to the others. Increasing this makes you more beautiful and likely to attract a lot of attention.
Essence : The overall aptitude to harness and resist supernatural phenomena. Increasing this makes it more easier to influence the world and also resist supernatural influence.
Now that her talent increased, this makes her more better to do things.
"Right. Maybe I should fix my 3D Model. Let's see how much I improved myself"
She muttered to herself as she goes to her computer and opened her 3D modeling program to fix her Virtual Avatar.
"... This is amazing!"
It was evening when she was done fixing everything she thinks is wrong about her 3D model.
Now looking at it, her 3D model's appearance looks like something that can be seen from To Aru Majutsu no Index. The first season of the anime.
It was a huge improvement than her first appearance.
"Uh... but I already uploaded my introduction video. Well, I can use this model tomorrow for my next video"

VP, or also known as Viewer Points. It was a point that was needed to increase her status.
To acquire VP, her view count on one of her videos must increase. One view count increases her VP by one.
"Oh, so only one person view my introduction video. Ugh, that's so lame..."
She was feeling downhearted because of that.
It was already several hours since she uploaded that video and her view count increases by one only.

She muttered to herself with a depressed feeling.
The Vtuber community in this world was already mature. There are a lot of Vtubers in this world. Not just in Japan, there are also some on the foreign countries.
There are also a lot of big name Vtubers and even some groups and companies for Vtubers. In fact, it was very rare to see a successful solo Vtuber in this day. All aspiring Vtubers will train on companies or join some groups before they become well-known.
There are a lot of newbie solo Vtubers but they only last some weeks before they were put into obscurity.
So it was not surprising that her view count increased by one after several hours.
"Anyway, because I have VP now, I think I should put it on my Physique. I have a low stamina so I think I need to have a stronger body to do a lot more"
After deciding that, she poke the Physique on her status panel.

As to why she didn't pick Talent, that's because can't increase it now.
She already got a brief tutorial for her ability after she got her quest.
Based on her system, she needs the same amount of VP as the status that she is upgrading.
For example, if she have 5 on her talent, she needs 5 VP to increase it by one.
Though even with her status being 0, she still needs 1 VP to increase it by 1. After that, the cost of increasing her status is equivalent to how much value her status have.
She really wants to increase her Talent status. This is because she can become more skillful when she have a lot of it.
Still, because she can't even acquire that much views, so she needs to think about what was necessary for her.
Having more strength and stamina was a must for her. As Ayumi, being a shut-in for some months makes her body weak. She easily becomes tired now.
In fact, when she was setting up her equipment for streaming, she immediately got tired after some minutes. That's why, she decided to acquire more stamina first before going back to Talent.
"Anyway, I got some money. Though it wasn't enough to pay for my rent on next month, I can use some of this cash to buy something online"

She said with a sigh.

Though she doesn't think much about it. She thinks it was just something convenient due to her powers.
She doesn't want to think what other people will think when she magically acquired some money in her bank account.
"Okay, now I can buy something to eat online!"
She spends the rest of the night browsing the internet and downloading some games that was popular on the net so she can use it for her next video. She also ate some instant cup ramen before finally sleeping on her bed.
Tomorrow morning, she woke up and look at the time before standing up and going to the bathroom there. She also got a notification that she acquired 2 VP while she was sleeping.
Even as a shut-in, she still have the decency to wash her body.
After washing herself and changing to some clothes that she found on her drawer, she heard someone ringing her doorbell.
"Coming!"
She said before looking at the peephole on the door.
From there, she saw the usual guy who takes the laundry of those living in this apartment.
She remembered that most people living in this apartment are lazy to go to the laundromat so there is this guy who always goes on a round weekly to take their laundry.
Of course they need to pay him too.
"Oh wait, I'll take my laundry now"
She said behind the door before going back and taking the sack that the old Ayumi usually uses to put all her dirty to clothes before giving it to the guy.
After it was done, she goes back and take her sack of dirty clothes out using the chute below the door.
After that, she took five hundred yen on her pocket and use the chute below her door to put it outside.
"Okay, I'll be back in afternoon"
The guy on the outside said. He kneeled and took the five hundred yen before taking the sack and going to the next door.
"Phew... my system is so convenient"
She said while looking at it.
She just discovered that she can also directly take her cash from her bank account using her system. So she doesn't need to go out and take the time to line up just to use an ATM machine.
After that, she goes back to her room and started booting up her computer.
When she booted it up, a prompt suddenly appeared on her vision.
