Chapter 6 : Hyperchat & Chirper
In year 2035, June 13. Sakaguchi Kotomi creates her Chirper (Twitter equivalent) account and also started using Hyperchat (Superchat equivalent).
It all started when she searched for the info about Hyperchat after she was done cleaning her room. She learned that it was an extension of YouTube for streaming. It also prioritizes those who donates more so the content creator can see their comments.
She felt it was biased towards those who have money so she tried looking at other Vtubers in the internet. Then she saw that even the new Vtubers uses this, not just to support themselves, but also to talk to the viewers.
Vtubers aside from her doesn't have any superhuman capabilities. They can't just read all the comments that moves at text scrolling speed. So they used the Hyper Chat function to see some comments so they can reply to it.
In fact, plenty of Vtubers are not really playing games. They make streams just for talking to the viewers.
So she thinks that she might have to also do it because she wants to interact with her viewers. Of course, she will do that while still playing a game.
While she is doing that, she discovered about Chirper from some of those Vtubers.
In her past life, she doesn't use Twitter or any sorts of social websites. She doesn't feel like making friends on internet due to her trauma about relationships (due to the bullying) that she doesn't want to create any account for that.
She was still okay if she was just going to play online games. So long as she doesn't talk and just play in her way, she was okay. Though there are some toxic players that she encounters in her gaming life in her past life, she doesn't take that to heart because she felt it was just normal.
She just doesn't like to waste her time purely for socializing. So she didn't make an account on any social websites.
Now that she knows about it, she learned that she can used that to manage her schedule. Specifically, she can create a Chirper account for her Vtuber persona and post her schedules for herself.
She learned that most Vtubers do that. And because it was so common to do it, she thinks she might as well do it.
Of course, she was just doing this so she can have more viewers. Her abilities will grow the more she was exposed to the public.
And Chirper is one of the most used sites for streamers in this world. So she might acquire more audience by just having an account on it.
She read some negative rumors about the site though. Saying that most people on Chirper are toxic and bitter about basically anything. She wants to see for herself.
This is her experimental phase after all. She was still new to everything so she was grasping at everything she sees as a common thing to Vtubers.
Currently, she have 400+ subscribers. With 300+ active audiences on her every stream. Most of them are GOS players. If she can add more audiences in her YT account, she thinks it will be a matter of time before she acquires enough money to buy her independence.
It was her goal anyway. She wants to get out of her relative's clout as soon as possible. It will be a matter of time before they learned at her prosperity.
She doesn't know why her uncle's family wasn't going at her and claiming her income but she was sure that sooner or later, they will come at her.
She already have 1M+ Yen thanks to completing her objectives. If they got wind of it, they'll go at her like wolves who smells of blood.
Also, they have the legal side on them. She wasn't independent of her uncle's family due to them not letting her get out of their hold. They still want to hold all of her family's insurance to their hands and use it for their own convenience. It would be very bad for them if she suddenly became independent of them. They will be forced to hand over what's left of her family's insurance and deeds, which is still a lot.
They can use the "Legal Guardian" card so they can easily take her money. She can't even do anything about it because the legislative of this city are not flexible at all. They are lazy.
Even if she says that she owns the money through her streaming, her uncle can just say that she was still a child and she can't hold that much money. They will even say that it was for her own good that they are doing it.
There are many more reasons which the old Hoshimachi Ayumi already heard from her uncle and this new Ayumi knew that she can't argue back to them.
The only way to get out is to proved to the governors of this city that she was competent enough to live alone. If they saw that she can take care of herself without the need of any legal guardian, she hopes that she can get out of her Uncle's clouts.
Of course, she needs a lot of money for it.
That's why she needs to be more popular. She wants to acquire more income so the people at the local governors that she can be independent. The more she got, the more they will be convince.
Chirper is one way to get more popular. Hyperchat increases her income for a bit more.
With this, she decided to create the accounts when she learned about this.
And now, she can finally expand her name more.

After she was done with that, she made herself busy on upgrading her 3D model.
She still felt that something is still missing in her 3D model.
Her model is already perfect. It got the perfect mixture of 2D and 3D. It looks so natural whether she put it in a 2D environment or in a real life environment.
But something isn't right. And that's the major lack of animation.
She needs to create some hair movement animation, skirt movement, and even the bust movement.
She already did the full body tracking movements. That is thanks to her Intermediate Animation and Basic Programming. But she needs to go above.
She saw on one of the Vtuber's stream (Someone named Yubel) that her body's animation are smooth. Her hair, her clothes, and even some other parts of her 3D model that needs to move was moving like it was her own body.
Ayumi wants to also make that kind of model. She felt somewhat inadequate if she stops upgrading her 3D model just because it's appearance was perfect.
But she doesn't have enough know-hows how to make it possible. She can do a simple one but the animation will become awkward when she tried streaming using her avatar.
So she did what she can only do as someone who cheats her way. Buying the appropriate abilities.
She already acknowledges to herself that she was cheating. Unlike the normal Vtubers out there, she have abilities and she can acquire more. So it was normal to call her as a cheater if someone knew the context how she became too good.

After she bought the necessary skills for her streaming and for upgrading her model, it is finally time to start her work.
Programming was needed because the particle movements of her model needs to be in sync with her real movements. She was using a tall character after all and because she was short in real life, some animation will become weird if she moves around. It can't also detect her hair movements so she needs animate the hair movement and also program it so it will work along with her movements.
She also needs to make her character's bust to move. She doesn't have anything she can call as her bust and because she was using a character that clearly does have one, she needs to program it so it also moves along with her body movements.
Of course she won't do it in an exaggerated way. It would be bad if she was labelled as shameless.
She will just do it for some fan service. She watches many anime in her past life so she knows some tropes about it.
Other than that, she won't change her character's outfit. It will still be her old outfit. She is still a week old on this industry so it was very early to do so.

After she was done upgrading her 3D model with her remaining time, she finally started her streaming.
A new feature was added on her streaming. That's the Hyperchat panel. She put that feature on so the others can see it.
"Now then, I want to announce that I got 400+ subscribers now. Yay! Thank you very much for all your support!~~"
She started with that kind of speech. She felt that it was right to update them of her popularity first.
Well, she saw some Vtubers do that when she was watching some of their videos.
She thought that she should always thank her audience for their support. It would be rude if she didn't do that.
While she was talking, she was creating a room for a Zombie map on GOS.
After that, she was waiting for players to join her. There is Guugure and some people who player with her on the previous stream who quickly joined her room. But it was still not full.
On a Zombie Map, 24 is the maximum amount of players that can join on it.
While she was waiting for her room to be full, someone donated to her in the Hyperchat with a question.

The one who commented to her asks her that because he saw on her profile in Chirper that her model was made by her. She is the one who created her own model.
"Thanks for your support Spookyman. And yes, you are right." She replied.
After waiting for awhile, 90's_Spookyman asks her again with a 1,000 Yen donation again.
He was skeptical that she was the one who made her own model because the improvement on her first stream and this current stream was too drastic. The animation for her model and the ever changing quality of it can't be done by a margin of a single week.
"... Then, I'll stream about making a 3D model to prove that I can quickly do it. I'll do it tomorrow." She said that after reading the comment on her HC.
She felt that people will doubt her if she didn't show them any proof.
She sounds like she is boasting on those words but she doesn't want them to call her a liar. She will lost more viewers if they saw her as someone who always says a lie.
A lying Vtuber, mostly if it's about something they didn't even do but have the gall to boast about it, are one of worst thing they can do. Audience will scorn those and that Vtuber will most likely vanish or became totally hated by the Vtuber community.
And because she said she was the one who made her own model, it's already a big boast. She needs to show actual proof so they know that she is telling the truth.
"Anyway, it seems like the game is starting. It's time to get ready!~~" she said before pointing her cursor at the ready button and clicking it.
After her stream, she immediately go to her Chirper account and type a post telling them that tomorrow stream will be her making a 3D model from scratch.
After that, she immediately browse around the net to see if there are any character designs that she can use.
She passed the day just like that.
The next day, she finish taking care of her room and eating breakfast and now it was time for her to stream once again.
This time, she will be making a 3D model from scratch. She promised that on her post after all.
She first opened her computer and prepared the applications she needed to make a 3D Model.
"Hello everyone, this is Sakaguchi Kotomi desu!~~" She finished with her usual greeting. "Now then, I will be making a 3D Model from scratch. But before that, to prove that this is happening in real time and this is not an accelerated video, I will be taking two art request for you my audience. So, please tell me who you want me to draw first" she added with a smile.
She knows she was very fast when she was making an illustration. It was thanks to her status and abilities. Her speed is totally inhuman. She was fast and precise when making minute changes on her 3D Model. She doesn't need to make a skeletal sketch or layer her digital arts just to make her drawings good. She also doesn't need to slowly make a curve or a line when drawing because of this speed and precision.
So she asks the others to be the one to asks her to draw something. This is because they might think that she was just showing a prerecorded video in her stream when they saw how fast she is doing her modelling.
A lot of people then told her to draw herself in a Counter Terrorist uniform and the background being one of the GOS maps. Specifically, they want her to be in a SAS outfit.
"Okay, I'll be doing that then!"
With that, she started using a paint tool and created three layers only to draw. One for the character, one for the background, and the other is for the ambience of her illustration.
With smooth movements, she quickly created the face and the general outline of her body along with the clothes. She didn't even bother to create a skeleton or an anatomical outline first. She just straight up did the drawing already.

While her HC is going on a frenzy, she just quickly put the full outline of her character wearing a SAS outfit. It was an image of her lining up her sights just slightly in front of the screen.
She then quickly put colors in it in a quick manner. Without the use of any layerings at all.
Her 2D art became more colorful as time past and after an hour, she was already done. Along with the background.
When she was finished like that, her HC was already in an uproar. All of them are saying a lot of things because of her precise movements. It's like they saw a real life speed painting. But the art was much better like it was done for hours.
The drawing she did is an image of her as Sakaguchi Kotomi in a frontal view, pointing her M1A1 slightly on the right side of the front of the screen. Behind her are giant wooden double doors and the area looks like desert with some structures made out of stone that was colored the same as the sand. The style of the drawing is perfect, it's like a visual novel CG.
While she was in the process of drawing this image, her viewers already turned to 500+ and the donations to her HC increased by two times compared to her yesterday's stream.
"Okay, now for the second request. Please tell me what is it." She asked that after reading some of the pinned comments on her HC and replying to them.
Their next request is a certain character in a magical girl anime. They want to draw the protagonist and also the final enemy of the Season 1 of that anime.
"Okay, I'll quickly finish that up."
And she did.
After 1 hour and 12 minutes, she finished drawing all of it with a beautiful background that she herself illustrated.
She didn't notice but she now have 800+ active viewers since she was done on her painting.
"Okay, now I think this is proof enough that I am the one doing the drawing. I even put my signature besides the drawing. So next, I will be making a 3D model from scratch." As she was saying that, she already saved the last art she made before opening the other apps for 3D modeling and other apps to make the 3D model work in sync with her. "So did you know that so long as you know all the tools and the modeling itself, it is much quicker than making 2D art." She said while she was preparing the apps.
After awhile, she looks at her HC and saw that a lot of them are asking her to create an anime 3D model.
"Oh, is that so. Okay, I will be making an anime 3D model. Let's see... what about Tsukiteru Mirai from Gensou?"
Gensou. It was the counterpart of the Touhou Project Series in this world. Like Touhou, Gensou is also set in a fantastical place somewhere in Japan where every mystical and supernatural beings are inhabiting. A shrine maiden and a human magician are also the two main protagonist of this series. Currently, this series' latest installment is Gensou 26.
The character Tsukiteru Mirai is the Yakumo Yukari equivalent of this series.
As to why she pick this character. Gensou characters are free to use so long as they credit the original work and also, it was not being owned in a corporate means. Basically, it's free to make this model without being sued by it.
She started making the model of the character.
"Okay. You just need to know where to put the skeletal nodes and what are the uses of the dimensions here." She said before becoming silent for awhile. "... Well, sorry if I am doing this too fast. I am using hotkeys so I can quickly established what the nodes should do or not. This is where you input uses and their movement... you shouldn't over do it too much or the body will bend in an inhuman way. Eyes are here and we will come back for that after I am done with the limbs..."
She explained more about what she is doing while she quickly put the character's body into form.
And after 50 minutes, she was done making the whole model.
"There, the first phase is finally done. I've use a lot of particles there so it took a long time." She said that while also reading the comments on her HC. "Oh, this is still not done. I still need to input some codes in here before the body became in sync with my body and also the particles move along with it." She replied to some people who became curious about what she said first.
After that, it only took 20 minutes before she was done making the avatar functional.
"And Tadah!~~ This is the complete model of Tsukiteru Mirai. Now let's test it and see if it was working as intended."
She said while she was using her visor to connect the new model she created and then let it imitate her body movements. Of course her avatar of Sakaguchi Kotomi is still there on the screen, still in sync with her body movements.
To make it possible that both of her true model and her newly created model were seen by the people, she minimized her Sakaguchi model to it's full body exposure and then put it on the left side while she put the Mirai model on the right side.
Then she pick the background that she uses on her introduction video. It was a private-looking school for elites on the back and surrounding it are a vast patch of white flowers and grasses all over it, with a beautiful blue sky with a neat arrays of moving clouds in it. On the distance behind the school are the hills that can be seen on the horizon.
And then she move her body and both of the avatars were in sync with her.
Though there is a difference. Her Sakaguchi model's shading and particle movement was much more smoother than the other one. The other s movement was pretty simplistic and subdued.
"So as you can see. This is the finish product of this model. Sorry if the ribbons are not moving much or even the hair. I don't have enough time for it. I didn't manage put as much particles in it as possible. I also need to think about my CPU process or it might lag a lot. Anyway, thank you for watching me do that long video of 3D modeling and 2D arts. I have so much!~~"
She was saying all of that while she was making some exercise movements and also hopping around. It is to show how much particles are moving in her created models.
While that is happening, the comment section was already exploding with more awe and amazement. Her viewers already exceeded 1,000.
She was reading the comments and saw that a lot of them are donating to her more for her awesome performance. A lot of them are also convinced about her capabilities. Though there are still the skeptics among them. Those who still can't believe that she really did that.
After awhile of thanking her viewers and talking a bit more with them, she finally ended her stream.
"Phew... now it's finally all done." She sighed in relief.
Then, she goes to her Chirper account post her two 2D art and also her created 3D model.
After that, she passed the day upgrading her Sakaguchi model and also browsing around in the internet to learn more about Vtubers before finally going to sleep.

This chapter is freaking long. It's so long I became so bored that I forgo writing the HC section.
In fact, I might have skip a lot of things... well, I think I still manage to put the things I want to put here. I can just skip the games that have the same outcome as the one I wrote on the past chapters.
So yeah lame excuse... sorry about that...
Also, sorry if the story is becoming more of a gibberish. I check it out and I think it was alright but I don't know about you. I just wrote whatever came to mind.
