Chapter 15 : Interrupted Stream

Ayumi started her streaming after she was done with all the things she needed to do to her house.
As for the pendant that she got this morning, she was putting that at the corner of her mind because she doesn't know what to do with it.

Her viewers already knew this because she posted that on her Chirper account. After PUBF, she will stream GOS. Then on the next day she will be drawing some arts that her viewers requested of her. After that she will play PUBF again. And so on.
She login on her GOS account and then go to the Beta Server. After that she created a room.
After a moment, her room became full. Most of them are commenting how glad they are at getting to join. Of course Guugure also managed to join.
Then they started the game.
The game was peaceful, with her curbstomping her enemies. Because of this, her viewers requested for her to play on the Alpha Server which she kindly rejected.
Then she decided to go to another server. It was the Zeta Server. The mode of the game there is Zombie Mode.
She created a room and many players quickly joined her again. She started the game and then lead her team.
While this is happening, she was also talking to her viewers.
While this is happening, her superhuman hearing heard someone breaking the gate of her house.
This makes her stop on her tracks.
The other players still didn't know that anything is happening because it was just a couple of seconds ago that she stop moving.
She quickly change the perspective of the visor that she is wearing so she can see what's in her front. Then she goes near the window to look what is happening there.
"Wait a minute, I'll check something for awhile." She didn't forget to say that to her stream.
Because the voice chat function was open and her full tracking set can also act as a mic, so even when she is not in front of her computer, she can still let the others hear what she is saying.

There is a large buff guy with a long hair in dreadlocks. It was also tied behind his back. His skin was slightly dark and he was only wearing an orange tanktop and another orange shorts.
The other is a beautiful woman with long black hair and obsidian colored eyes. She was wearing an office suit which perfectly fits her, showing all the curves of her body.
The beautiful woman stares at her for awhile before she raises her hand and gestured for her to get closer to them. With her sharp vision, she can see that the eyes of the beautiful woman was now glowing with an ephemeral purple.
"Uhmm... what is she doing?" She muttered to herself in confusion.
This was heard by her viewers because she was still wearing the facemask part of the full body tracking equipment that she have. So they became confused and asked her about it.
At this time, the other players playing with her also notices that she stops and they also move besides her character to protect her.
While this is happening, her HC was asking her questions.

Ayumi finally noticed that she is freaking her audience out so she quickly decided to do what was necessary to stop this.
She stops her streaming.
After stopping her stream, she focused her attention to the direction of the two trespassers once again.
But she was surprised when the woman who was staring at her with her weirdly glowing eyes suddenly jumps to her direction.
'What is happening!? Wait, how can she jump this high!? I am on the second floor!' While her thoughts was like that, she just took a step back due to not knowing what to do next.
The woman landed on her opened window, her feet was planted on the railings of the window.
"You... are you a part of the Other Side!?" Then that mysterious beautiful woman coldly asks her with a glare.
It's like she is ordering her to tell her something. Though, she can't understand what is it.
And because she is still wearing her streaming equipments so she was feeling embarrassed at her current state. She was still someone who doesn't want to show her face to any people after all.
It was okay if she was in a hoodie or some other clothes that will cover her whole body, but she was in her casual clothes, with most of what she is wearing being her streaming equipments.
Letting a stranger see her like that makes her shiver in fear.
She was scared of encountering people. She doesn't want to be abused once again.
In her past life, whenever someone sees her, they will physically and emotionally harm her. Basically destroying any sense of confidence she have. She didn't want any person to see her because of that.
Due to the woman's cold voice, she flinches in fear.
The woman then landed on the floor and gets closer to her.
"Why are you not affected by my hypnosis?" The woman asked as she gets closer and closer to her. "Who are you?" She said with a hostile intent.
Ayumi was just stepping backwards as the woman steps forward towards her.
Then she hits the wall on her back.
While that is happening, she was trying to process what is hearing at mouth of the woman.
'Hypnosis? What hypnosis? And who is she!?' she thought while still feeling confused about this event. 'Wait, I have a lot of status, maybe I can apprehend her?' She thought while looking at the direction of the woman.
The woman in question is Mioda Naomi. She just came here to get the pendant that was currently in care of Ayumi. She is thinking that it will be easy because the person holding onto the pendant is just a normal person who have no knowledge about the Other Side.
She was proven wrong when suddenly, the girl just vanishes in her sights.
"I'm sorry!"
And then she felt her arms being held in her back and the back of her knee being moved by her assailant's feet.
Naomi fell to the ground with one of her arm held behind her.
'How!?' Naomi thought in astonishment.
She have many experiences of fighting enemies who are much faster than her eyes can follow. She also have many experience fighting enemies who are good at martial arts. She can easily sense someone sneaking in her vicinity even if they are 15 meters in a distance with her.
But Ayumi just vanishes to her senses. She didn't even feel anything at all until Ayumi said sorry to her.
It was too simple really. Ayumi have a Disguise ability at the level of God. She can easily disguise her presence as something else. Because she was so good at disguising that when she wants to hide, she will be able to hide without anyone seeing her. She also have Cover which makes it impossible to trace her because she can easily cover any of her tracks before the other person even manage to detect it.
Of course both of these ability are just at a level that peak humans can also do but if she, a superhuman, does that and have a high Talent score at that, she can easily do a perfect escape to any person's perception.
And because of her Prediction, she manages to predict the path which will make her much more successful at escaping Naomi's senses.
It's pure talent. The talent to get out of a person's perception, even if they are a professional at it. She moves much faster than what a human thought process can react.
As for the arm lock, she watches some anime and games on her past life where some characters do that to the others and she tried to replicate it. Because of her high Talent score so she also perfectly replicated it.
Naomi tried to use the full weight of her body to stand up but the one straddling her seems to be very heavy. It's like there was a wall above her back.
Giving up on standing up, she then tried to use her free arm to take something behind her clothes.
But it seems like it was already predicted because before she can even move her free hand, it was also seized by the other hand of Ayumi.
Ayumi's gripped was too strong. She can't even move it when Ayumi was holding it.
"Tch!" She clicks her tongue as she tried to wiggle her body out of Ayumi.
But Ayumi kept apologizing to her as she moves Naomi's arms on her back and then use her one hand to hold both of her wrist while one of her hand was raised besides her, like she was waiting for something to appear in it.
Ayumi was currently buying something in her Vtuber Shop. It's just rope really.
Because she thinks that the people intruding her house were robbers so she wants to apprehend them first before calling the police.
At the back of her mind, she was still curious how this woman manages to jump from the outside to the second floor and also about the hypnosis thing that this woman was talking about. But she was trying to focus on incapacitating her intruders so she can't focus on that thought.
She quickly buys a rope that only costs 10 VP and then held her wrist as she rolled the rope on her arms with her free hand.
Naomi can't use any of her tricks if her hands were gripped tightly like this. She can't also move properly with her body being straddled like this. She doesn't have any techniques that will enable her to get out of this steel-like grip.
She can't understand how a small child like her can easily overwhelm her in strength. She can't even detect any usage of magic.
Naomi can feel her hands being tied up by a rope. It seems like the girl was pretty good at tying the knots as it bites at her wrist due to how tight it is.
Thinking that she can't escape this alone, she did the only thing she can think of.

Outside the house, Kazagumo was just waiting for her to be finished when he got that message on Naomi. He was surprised when he heard that she needed a back up. He can't understand how Naomi, one he knew as someone strong, was asking for help.
"Fucking shit, what is it now!?" While complaining like that, he goes through the front door and just kick it off.
The door flew inside the house, hitting the wall on the other side of this house. The side of the door was also broken along with it.
Ayumi heard that too. While panicking inside her mind, her body was moving on it's own by instinct. Tying up the legs of Naomi with another rope that she bought in the shop.
Then she quickly stands up, leaving Naomi on the ground who still kept thrashing around. She moves to the door and opened it slowly.
Hearing the heavy footsteps coming to this floor, she quickly gets out of her streaming room and then moves to her Forbidden Room.
As to why she did that, it was because she was scared. She was trying to apprehend the woman that jumped at her window without hurting her too much. She was also planning to do that to the guy that she saw that was along with Naomi when she remembered how the guy looks. All her little confidence shatters when she remembered that the guy she was trying to target next is very muscular, easily outsized her by three times.
She knew she was strong but a scary person is still a scary person for her.
So she goes inside her Forbidden Room.
"What should I do!? Are they robbers!? But... that woman just jumped on my window on her own... I can't understand what is happening!" She said in a panic as she tried to process the events up until now.
She remembered just going to do her usual routine. She was streaming then these two people suddenly broke through her gate.
She goes back more to her thoughts.
She recalled waking up and then wearing her hoodie before taking all of her garbage in a single trash bag. Then when she goes out, she saw a girl lying besides the street near her gate.
When she tried to get closer to that girl, the girl suddenly grasped her hands and passed something into her before she loses consciousness again. That something is a pendant. The girl seems to be pretty desperate when she said that she leaves everything into her hands.
'... Wait, was that the reason?' She thought with a doubt but her conclusion was already certain that it was the reason.
She thinks about it more for awhile before finally deciding to look into it.
She quickly go to the drawer where she put it and open it.
"Huh!?" But she was surprised when she saw that it was clad in a shimmer of white with some bluish hue on it.
The pendant then suddenly shined brightly. She quickly covered her eyes with her arms as it was happening. When the light dims down, she put her arms down and look at the pendant again. Only to look up in astonishment.
From there, she can see a projection of a mystical white fox looking at her way. It seems the projection was coming to the pendant that was still in the opened drawer.
"It's been a long time since I manage to manifest my soul like this." A voice of elegance with a tinge of confidence resounded in her room. "Greetings, I am the Arctic Fox sealed inside this pendant." It seems like the voice was coming to the projection of the fox as it looks at her. "I would like have a conversation with you but it seems like your in the middle of a predicament then. Though I am curious why are you so hesitant to fight thugs like that. I can sense a great power inside you. If you want, you can easily wipe them out." The fox continues as it stares at Ayumi with it's profound looking gaze.
"... Eh?" Ayumi was getting more confused at what is happening now.

Well, I was going to upload this last night but I deleted all half of the progress I made in this chapter because it goes totally ridiculous while I am writing it. It have something to do with her deciding to pretend as a goddess...
Like how the hell did it come to that!?
So I rewrite half of the part of this chapter, the rewritten part is at the part where she stops her streaming.
So it's like that. I should have put two chapters yesterday but I didn't manage to do that so sorry for this delay.
I might not be able to update for awhile because of some minor reason. I'll try to get back to writing as soon as possible.
