"Now Celestia! Sailor Moon!" Mamo-chan orders.
"Okay!" We both agree.
"Moon Princess…Halation!" We both call out at the same time.
"I haven't put on my heavy makeup yet!" She yells before turning into dust, her forehead gem landing on the ground before losing colour and turning grey.
Mamo-chan is quick to leave after pecking me on the lips. Usagi and I stand at the door watching him walk away. Luna comes up from behind us. "Sailor Moon, Sailor Celestia, I found the store clerks unconscious in the basement. Let's help them."
Usagi and I share a look and we follow Luna to where they are being held.
~~~Present~~~
~~~3rd POV~~~
Chibi-Usa comes to a stop and looks down to see Soft Cream Bob Floy opened with a lot of customers. She lets out a happy sound as she sees the ice cream. "Oh, it's mint chocolate chip!"
She gulps before she snaps out of it. "This is stupid; I'm not a kid anymore! Who cares about ice cream?!" She closes her eyes. "I have to hurry up and find the Silver Crystal." She gets up and begins walking off.
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" A voice calls out causing Chibi-Usa to turn and look behind her to see Ami. "Are you going home?"
"Ami-chan…" Chibi-Usa trails off.
"What were you looking at?" Ami questions.
Chibi-Usa looks away. "Nothing."
Ami turns her head to look. "Oh, you were looking at that new ice cream shop."
Chibi-Usa turns away. "I'm not interested in that stuff." She denies.
"Really? But I heard that it's really good." Ami points out. "I want to try some, too. Say, Chibi-Usa-chan, would you have some with me? My treat, of course."
Chibi-Usa is quick to turn around and look up at Ami. "Really?! If you insist, I don't mind going." She runs ahead before turning around and lifting her arm in her air. "Ami-chan, let's go!"
"Okay!" Ami calls back with a smile on her face.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
~~~Rei's Shrine~~~
"What?! No way!" Usagi exclaims.
"I heard that it's pretty definite." Luna states.
"I can't believe that Ami-chan is going to study abroad in Germany," Rei admits.
"She did get the best score on the national mock exam for two years straight along with Selena-chan," Minako-chan adds.
"It's almost surprising that something like this didn't happen sooner," Mako-chan says softly.
"So, what about Ami?" Artemis asks.
"I heard that she hasn't made up her mind yet." Rei sighs.
"I'm sure she wants to go." Luna acknowledges.
"Ami's dream is to become a doctor like her mother. Germany is one of the best places to study medicine." Mako-chan admits.
"But, but, but! I don't ever want to say goodbye to Ami-chan! Besides! Besides, she's the precious brain behind our team! If the enemy attacks, are we going to call her back from Germany?!"
Rei leans forward slightly. "Usagi! Have some consideration for Ami-chan's feelings, too!" Rei scolds softly.
"It's true that losing Ami-chan will hurt," Minako-chan agrees. "But if we work harder, don't you think we'll be okay?"
"Then, you're all okay being apart from Ami-chan?!" Usagi shouts.
"I heard that she cut down on her sleeping hours so she could study on the days when we fight. Her hard work is finally about to pay off. We can't hold Ami-chan back because of our childish desires." Rei states passionately.
Mako-chan looks up at the sky. "I agree; she should go. An opportunity like this doesn't come often."
"Usagi-chan, remember what you used to say, 'I want everyone to lead the life of a normal girl.'" Luna adds.
"O-Oh, you're right. I think we should let Ami-chan go to Germany." Usagi agrees.
"Usagi, you're more thoughtful than I expected!" Rei praises.
"Then, let's throw Ami-chan a going-away party!" Minako-chan offers.
"Yeah!" We all cheer in agreement.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Ami and Chibi-Usa finish their ice cream as they sit on a bench in the park. Ami stands up when they do. "Well, then. I have to go to cram school. See you later, Chibi-Usa-chan."
Chibi-Usa waves as Ami walks away. "Okay, thank you for the ice cream." Ami-chan seems like a really dependable person. She narrows her eyes at Ami's back. If someone has the Silver Crystal, it could be her, rather than that irresponsible Usagi.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
Both Artemis and Luna place things on the table. Artemis is the first to look up. "These are the new transformation wands and communication devices."
There are four transformation wands that belong to Ami-chan, Rei, Mako-chan and Minako-chan. The top of the wand is shaped in a star with their planet sign in the centre and of course, the wands are in their planet colour as well.
The communication devices now look like watches. The watch resembles Usagi's brooch but on the inside, there are our planet signs in the centre and our planet colours.
I pick mine up and look at it. It looks like Usagi's but instead of pink and gold mine is silver and gold.
"These should make you guys more powerful." Luna finishes.
"I guess Ami-chan won't need hers." Minako-chan points out softly.
"Yeah…" We agree hesitantly.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Rubeus is gazing down at Crystal Tokyo's map once more. "Berthier." He calls out.
Berthier appears in a mirror and walks out of it again. "Yes, sir!"
"Another Crystal Point, a lynchpin for the barrier around Crystal Tokyo, has been found." Rubeus states before the map turn to the side before an image of the Bob Floy ice cream store appears.
"We want to destroy the Crystal Power in that place, and replace it with Dark Power, correct?" Berthier questions.
"Yes. I hope you will do it right this time." Rubeus comments.
"Yes, sir!" Berthier agrees happily. "Berthier will take care of everything." She blows a kiss before disappearing.
Chibi-Usa heads over to Ami's cram school and waits outside, leaning against the wall. She looks up as Ami walks out. "Ami-chan!"
"Chibi-Usa-chan?" Ami exclaims surprised. "You shouldn't be out this late at night!"
"Ami-chan, I want to ask you for a favour!" Chibi-Usa says.
"What?" Ami questions.
"I want to stay at your place for a while," Chibi-Usa adds.
"What's wrong? Did you have a fight with Usagi-chan again?" Ami queries.
Chibi-Usa lowers her head. "Not really, but…" She looks back up. "The thing is, I just want to study, but it's very difficult to concentrate at Usagi's place."
Ami curls her fingers around her chin. "I see…If it's to study, then I don't mind. I'll call Usagi-chan and let her know. Let's go."
Ami holds out her hand and Chibi-Usa takes it. "Thank you, Ami-chan!"
Ami and Chibi-Usa head to Ami's home where Ami is quick to get in contact with Usagi and let her know. Ami takes out her books and sits down to study on one side of the table while Chibi-Usa sits on the other side with a book held out in front of her.
Chibi-Usa begins to nod off causing Ami to look up. "Chibi-Usa-chan?"
Chibi-Usa comes awake and looks up with wide eyes. She lets out a sigh and lowers her book before resting her head on it. "I'm so sleepy."
"It's only ten o'clock. We can still study for another hour." Ami says softly.
Chibi-Usa looks up surprised and closes her book. "Ten o'clock?! Oh, no! I have to go to bed! My sensei told me I need to go to bed by ten!"
"I know. It's not okay to stay up late watching TV, but studying is different." Ami says as a smile appears on her face. "So, let's study a little more."
Chibi-Usa sweatdrops and turns her head to the side. W-What's with this girl? She's never off her guard. There's no way that I can look for the Silver Crystal. Chibi-Usa looks back at Ami and her eyes widen. "Huh? What is this?"
"Chibi-Usa-chan, where did you come from?" Ami asks causing Chibi-Usa to look at her surprised. "You're lying about being Usagi-chan and Selena-chan's cousin, right?" They stare at each other in silence before a smile appears on Ami's face. "If you don't want to talk, that's okay. But if you have nowhere to go, do you want to stay at my place?"
"What?" Chibi-Usa says confused.
"I may go somewhere very far away," Ami admits. "And if I do my okaa-san will become very lonely."
"Ami-chan, you're going away somewhere?" Chibi-Usa queries.
"Yes. My dream has finally come true." Ami says happily.
"Your dream?" Chibi-Usa questions.
Ami looks down and rests her cheek on her hand. "No, it won't happen after all. I can't leave Usagi-chan, Selena-chan and the others behind. Sorry, just forget about what I just said. " She looks back down at her textbooks.
Chibi-Usa states at Ami. Ami-chan…
~~~Elsewhere~~~
Berthier appears not far from the Ice cream store and looks down at it from the top of the stairs. She walks down the steps and stands in front of the store and looks up at it before looking behind her. "Nipasu-chan, it's time to work."
Energy appears and a figure appears. This figure looks like a Japanese-styled snow woman. "Yes, my lady."
"Please begin." Berthier looks back at the store. "I call this, 'I love a cold treat!'"
Nipasu opens her mouth and snow comes out of it and it encases the store in ice. Berthier lets out a soft chuckle. "Good job. Please continue with our plan."
"Yes, my lady." Nipasu agrees.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
~~~Next Morning~~~
We meet up with Lunetta before waiting for Ami-chan, Selene is of course in my arms, but Teddy is at home with Mama. It isn't long before we see Ami-chan coming along with Chibi-Usa. "Good morning, Ami-chan!" We both call out at the same time.
"Good morning!" Ami-chan says back.
"I bet you had a tough time babysitting Chibi-Usa." Usagi comments.
"No, not at all," Ami-chan answers before looking down at Chibi-Usa. "You can come visit anytime."
"I will!" Chibi-Usa agrees happily.
When we get near school Usagi tells Ami-chan about her going-away party.
"What?! My going-away party?" Ami-chan exclaims surprised. "But I'm still trying to decide whether or not I should go."
"What are you talking about?! I know that the departure date is getting close!" Usagi points out.
"I still have ten more days," Ami-chan admits.
"Only ten more days?" Usagi questions surprised.
"I filled all the paperwork already, but I still don't know…" Ami-chan trails off as she lowers her head.
"Ami-chan…" Usagi and I mutter softly.
"No! Ami-chan, you have to go to Germany! You'll study hard there, become a great doctor and save lots of lives!" Usagi comments causing Ami-chan to look up at her.
"Usagi-chan…" Ami-chan trails off surprised.
"We've got high hopes for you, Ami-chan! Right Nee-chan?" Usagi says happily.
"Yeah, we do." I agree softly.
Ami-chan nods her head in agreement. "Yeah!"
~~~After School~~~
Lunetta leaves and heads straight over to Jadeite's house. Selene is waiting for me at the school gate and as soon as she sees me she runs and jumps in my arms. She snuggles into my chest and lets out a sigh.
Usagi and I head to meet Rei, Mako-chan and Minako-chan. "Why? What's going on? She doesn't want any going-away parties or send-offs?!" Rei yells.
"She isn't thinking of not going; is she?!" Mako-chan questions.
Usagi bows her head. "She's decided to go, but…" Usagi trails off before telling the other's what Ami-chan said.
About how she won't be able to say goodbye as she doesn't want to say goodbye.
"That sounds just like Ami-chan," Rei admits.
"But no matter what Ami-chan says, we should still at least see her off…" Mako-chan trails off.
"Then how about we go directly to the airport to see her off?" Minako-chan offers.
"Oh, that's a good idea!" Mako-chan agrees.
"I agree." Rei agrees.
"Then, let's do that!" Usagi says happily.
We all stand up. "Okay! To the airport!" We cheer.
~~~3rd POV~~~
"How about some ice cream?" A female calls out as a crowd appears at Bob Floy to get ice cream.
A male takes two and heads over to a female. "Here you go."
The female takes it. "Thank you! I heard that their ice cream is really good."
The male places a hand on her shoulder as they take a step forward at the same time they take a lick from their ice cream. As soon as they do, their eyes narrow towards each other.
The male removes his hand from her shoulder. "Hey, don't stand so close!"
"You, too! Watch what you're doing!" She says back angrily.
They go their separate ways. "It's so hot!"
Artemis, who is sitting on the top of a bin, looks towards the ice cream store.
"Welcome! How about some nice cold ice cream?" A female calls out to the crowd.
A female walks off to her and lifts her umbrella back slightly to show Berthier. She is wearing the same dress as before but in blue. "Everything seems to be going well."
"Yes." The female agrees.
Berthier lets out a soft laugh as she looks towards the crowd. "Once they have some of my specially made ice creams, they won't be able to stand even a little heat. And those who can't stand the heat will crave even more ice cream. In short, it will be impossible for them to create the barrier in the future."
"It is truly a brilliant plan." The female praises.
"Of course," Berthier says happily.
Artemis, who had sneaked inside, pauses when a door opens. He jumps away and hides back in the dark.
"Who's there?" The female demands.
Artemis lets out a meow causing Berthier to look down. "Oh, it's a kitty-cat. Come here." Artemis walks over to her and she picks him up. "Nipasu-chan…"
"Yes." Nipasu agrees. Berthier throws Artemis in the air and Nipasu turns into her turn form before releasing snow from her mouth causing Artemis to be encased in ice.
"Goodnight kitty-cat." Berthier states.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
~~~Rei's Shrine~~~
Rei chants before she stops and lets out a gasp. "It's no use! I can't feel Artemis' presence no matter how many times I try!"
Minako-chan clenches her fist in front of her. "Could he be…"
"Anyway, this is highly unusual." Mako-chan points out.
"Could the enemy have gotten him?! Maybe we should ask Ami-chan and with her computer…." Usagi says before stopping and putting her hand over her mouth.
"Usagi!" Rei scolds gently.
"I know. She's finally resolved to go to Germany, so we better take care of this by ourselves." Usagi comments seriously.
"You got it!" Rei praises.
"Okay!" We all agree.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Chibi-Usa heads around Ami once again and watches as she packs her suitcase. "So, today is the last day…"
Ami closes her suitcase. "Yes."
"Thank you for helping me with my studies. I hope you do well in Germany. Ami-chan?" Chibi-Usa calls out.
Ami snaps out of her thought and turns to look at Chibi-Usa with a hand on her chest. "Oh, thank you. I hope you get along with everyone else, too."
"Sure!" Chibi-Usa agrees before she narrows her eyes. She's not the one with the Silver Crystal after all. So, who has it?
Minako stops from where she was searching Artemis and gazes down at the ice cream shop. Luna jumps and lands next to her. "Minako-chan, it's almost time to send off Ami-chan at the airport."
"Y-Yeah…" Minako agrees hesitantly.
"What's wrong?" Luna questions before following her gaze. "Oh, that's the ice cream shop that Artemis was suspicious about."
"Yes." Minako agrees.
It isn't long before the ice cream store is shut and Nipasu closes the shutters. Berthier appears behind her. "Nipasu-chan!"
"Berthier-sama, everything is going well," Nipasu says.
"That's nice, but what about taking care of the frozen people in the back of the warehouse?" Berthier queries.
Nipasu lets out a gasp. "I'm terribly sorry!"
Berthier lets out a chuckle. "If you don't work hard, maybe I should get rid of you along with those in the warehouse."
Nipasu lowers her head. "No, I will take care of them right away. Please do not worry."
"Are you sure? That's too bad. If it gets too hard, just let me know. I'll put you out of your misery." Berthier comments with narrowed, cold eyes.
"No, that will not be necessary." Nipasu denies.
Berthier turns away. "Okay. Then, take care. " She disappears.
"Yes." Nipasu agrees before heading to the warehouse. She narrows her eyes as soon as she opens the doors. "Who's there?!"
Minako and Luna appear from behind the ice. "I should be the one asking you that!" Minako points behind her. "What are you going to do with these frozen people?"
Nipasu laughs. "So, you saw them." Energy surrounds her causing her hair to lift in the air. "Then, I have no choice but to kill you!" Energy surrounds her as she jumps in the air and when it disappears she is back in her true form. "Nipasu!"
She flies toward Minako and snow is released from her mouth. Minako's eyes widen and she jumps out of the way. She looks down and lets out a gasp when she sees Luna encased in ice. "Luna!" Minako jumps out the way again when snow is sent towards her.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
We all split up looking for Artemis. It isn't long before Minako-chan contacts us. "Everyone, we have a new enemy. I'm at Bob-Floy's in the Juban Shopping District!"
"Let's go!" Rei says.
Usagi stands up. "Okay! Oh…But what about Ami's send-off? I was going to give this to her."
Chibi-Usa appears out of nowhere. "Do you want me to deliver it to her for you?"
"Chibi-Usa…" Usagi trails off.
"I'll give it to Ami-chan for you." Chibi-Usa offers.
Usagi was about to give it to Chibi-Usa when Mamo-chan takes it out of her hands. "I'll take care of it."
"Mamo-chan… Then take Selene-chan along with you." I say softly before gently putting her in his arms. I lean up and peck him on the lips before he moves back and get in his car but not before putting Selene-chan in the passenger seat. "Chibi-Usa, hop in!"
"Okay!" She agrees before getting in the back seat.
We stand in silence for a few seconds before Rei breaks it. "Okay, let's go!"
"Okay." Usagi and I agree.
~~~Bob-Floy's Ice Cream Store~~~
We are quick to sneak inside the store and meet up with Minako-chan. To distract the enemy Minako-chan throws a can that is frozen. "Where are you aiming?!"
"Girls love ice cream! How dare you use it in your evil plot?! We can't allow you to get away with it anymore! In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" Usagi calls out before one by one we jump to the ground.
"You impertinent brats!" She yells before the room becomes cold due to the ice coming from her breath.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Ami makes it to the airport and opens the taxi's door. She gets her luggage and gazes at the airport.
At the same time, Mamoru is driving towards the airport and both Selena and Chibi-Usa are looking out of their windows.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
"It's cold!" Usagi whined.
"I think this is colder than the North Pole!" Minako-chan points out.
"We have to do something!" Rei adds.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Ami heads inside. She places her hand on the window as gazes at the sky and watches as an airplane flies off.
"Ami-chan." A female voice calls out causing Ami to look down.
"Mamoru-san, Selene-chan and Chibi-Usa-chan?" Ami exclaims surprised.
Chibi-Usa bounces Luna-P. "Luna-P! Magic!" It turns into a cane. "Here, this is for you."
Ami reaches out and takes it. "Thank you." The cane turns into pink flowers.
Mamoru takes out the girls present. "This is from Selena and the others."
Ami reaches out and takes it. "From Selena-chan and the others?"
She gazes down at the present before she opens it.
"I guess this is the kind of friendship you guys had." Chibi-Usa comments.
Ami lets out a gasp and her eyes widen as she looks down at Chibi-Usa.
"Aren't I right?! I mean, it's weird that they didn't even show up to see you off!" Chibi-Usa states.
Ami looks away and continues opening her present. "That's because I asked them not to."
"That doesn't matter! They always said that they were your friends!" Chibi-Usa points out.
"Selena-chan, Usagi-chan and the others are wonderful friends," Ami says softly.
"That's a lie!" Chibi-Usa denies. "In the end, they only care about themselves!"
Ami fully opens her present and her eyes widen once more. Inside is her communicator watch and transformation wand with a note saying, 'No matter where you go, we're there with you'.
"There must be a reason for it," Ami says as their images appear in their minds. Ami picks up the transformation wand and gazes at it as she lifts it in front of her face. "Something very important…" Her eyes widen and she lets out a gasp. "It can't be! It can't be!" Ami abruptly looks at Mamoru. "Mamoru-san! It can't be!"
Mamoru nods his head. Ami closes her eyes and looks away. "Chibi-Usa-chan, you were right." She looks up and gazes outside. "I was only thinking about myself! Mamoru-san, I need to ask you a favour."
~~~Selena's POV~~~
"It's no use. It's too cold to use my powers." Mako-chan admits.
"We'll die if we don't do something." Rei states.
I narrow my eyes. "She's coming," I warn.
The ice block that we were hiding behind shatters. "Now, what are you going to do? There's nowhere to go!" She taunts as the snow stops. "Time for the finishing blow!" She blows snow towards us.
"Hold it right there!" A voice calls out.
"Sailor Mercury!" We call out in surprise.
A drop of water falls down, creating a ripple. Droplets surround Sailor Mercury as she spins around several times. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" The droplets coalesced into a stream of water and she throws it at the enemy, who is surrounded by a column of liquid water.
"Mercury…" Usagi trails off.
Ami-chan points at the enemy. "Now, Sailor Moon! Sailor Celestia!"
"Okay!" Usagi nods her head happily.
"Moon Princess…Halation!" We call out at the same time.
She turns to dust and once again the gem loses its colour and turns grey. All of the ice disappears. We run and surround Ami-chan. "Mercury! You're back!"
Ami-chan holds out her hand. "In the end, I just can't leave you guys." We place our hands on top of hers one by one.
"We are family after all," I say softly causing all of them to nod their heads in agreement.
We leave the store and are standing on the bridge. "Ami-chan, are you really okay? No regrets?" Usagi asks.
"When I study, it will be the same no matter where I am. I will study much harder and become a good doctor." Ami-chan states.
Usagi entwines her hands together in front of her chest. "I'm sure you will, Ami-chan!"
"That's right!" Luna agrees. "Though, it's something Usagi-chan could never do!"
"Luna!" Usagi scolds causing all of us including Usagi to start laughing.
