Chapter 32 : Matsuri's Surprise Visit
It was the next day. Ayumi was currently cooking some breakfast for the two of them.
While she was doing that, she heard Fubuki coming down the stairs.
"Good morning!~" Fubuki greeted her when she got to the dining room.
"Good morning!" Ayumi also returned her greeting. "Wait for a moment, this will be done soon." She said as she concentrates on the few things that she was cooking.
"Hmm? What's the breakfast today?" Fubuki asks with a tilt of her head as she smells a delicious aroma coming at the kitchen.
"This? It's hamburg steak! And some bacon, sunny side up eggs, and fried rice." Ayumi answered her as she finally was done.
Then she telekinetically put all the meal that she cooked on the table along with the plates and eating utensils so they can start eating.
"Hamburg Steak!?~" Fubuki's eyes lit up as she heard today's menu.
Ayumi just learned about this recently. Fubuki likes burgers. She finds that out when she felt making some hamburgers yesterday evening. Fubuki almost ate the whole large plate of burgers that she made. Her tail was even swishing a bit too energetically when she was taking a bite on the many hamburgers that Ayumi made.
And hamburg steaks seems to be defined by Fubuki as a burger too. So it makes Ayumi happy that the fox girl was excited to eat the meals that she cooks.
""Itadakimasu!~""
After the two of them said that, they started eating their food.
'As expected of my cheat abilities, even food that I just tried cooking for the first time was already this fulfilling!' Ayumi thought to herself as she took a slice of her hamburg steak.
Recently, Ayumi has been making food that she wasn't familiar with. She wants to have a more healthy diet, and she also wants Fubuki to have a variety of things to eat. So she was trying a lot of things.
'Hmm... I should try making sweets next time.' Ayumi thought to herself before continuing on her meal.
When the both of them are done eating their breakfast, Fubuki said her thanks for the meal and then quickly goes back to her room to start her morning stream.
Ayumi also goes to her room after she was done with cleaning all the dishes.
She sets up her streaming equipments and other things.
These days, it seems like Fubuki was trying to take care of her own streams. She seems to have absorbed everything that Ayumi taught her about using the streaming tools.
Ayumi felt somewhat sad about that because she can't help Fubuki that much anymore. Though she is still the one responsible for some things that Fubuki can't do. Like on the spot effects or instant captions when Fubuki improvises or just suddenly says her new plans on the spot.
Also, she is still Fubuki's modeler. She can take care of 2D and 3D models of Fubuki.
As Ayumi booted up her computer, she opens a portal to take some items she have on her Forbidden Room.
"It's been a long time since then. I should raise my abilities once again." Ayumi muttered to herself as she looks at her computer.
Then she picks something on her Forbidden Room and put it in her lap. The thing she took in that room is her All Status Cake. She still didn't try it yet. So she was going to try it now.
"Now then, let's eat this first and see how much it will raise my status." Ayumi muttered to herself as she unwraps the box of cake.
From there, she saw a small cake with a rainbow hue in it. The cake inside is at the size that can be easily put it in a small plate.
She took a dining knife and a fork on her kitchen by opening a portal and using her Psychokinesis. Then she took a bite of it.
'Wow! This is also delicious! I can't describe the taste other than being the best cake I ever tasted!' Ayumi thought as she felt a bliss eating through the cake.
Though when she was done eating it, she suddenly felt fulfilled. Like she can't eat anymore at this time.
'Ugh... this is the first time I felt this full since I raise my status.' Ayumi thought in surprised.
Since she acquire an impossible physique, her metabolism is pretty fast and it was hard for her to feel fulfilled with her meals even if she ate a meal that can easily feed tens of thousands of people.
So she was surprised to be feeling so full after eating that small cake.

Then she focused her attention on her computer again.
"Now then, maybe I should make some arts next. No one is going to request anything to me so I should just draw whatever." Ayumi muttered her plans to herself as she quickly operated her mouse to her paint tool.
Then she started recording her art stream.
"I'll be going now!"
"Take care!~"
After she said that to her mother, Matsuri goes out of her home.
She have some plans today. Hanging out with her friends, going to the bustling commercial area for sightseeing, and also buying a new pair of shoes because the one she's wearing is becoming too worn for her.
But she got a call from a friend when she was just in front of Ayumi's house.
"Eh!? Our plans are cancelled!?" Matsuri exclaimed in surprised and some disappointment as she heard her friend apologizing to her repeatedly. "Well okay, your family are more important than our get together. It's fine really. Have a nice day then!~" Matsuri cheered her friends on the other side before she drops the call. "Ah, what should I do now. It would be pretty lonely if I am the only one going to the city." As she muttered that to herself, her attention goes through Ayumi's house. "Ah right, I think I can hang out with our new neighbor today!" She said to herself. 'I also said that I want to play with that cute girl once more!~' She thought to herself with a strange glint in her eyes.
With that decided, she goes near the gate and push the doorbell besides it.
When she did this, Ayumi and Fubuki heard the doorbell. And because Fubuki is in the middle of her streaming and her voice chat was enabled so the people she was playing with also heard it.
Due to Aqua inviting her, Fubuki was currently playing the Pixelcraft (Minecraft on Ayumi's former world). She was currently playing on Aqua's server.
AQUA : What's that!?
Will-o-Wisp : Sounds like a visitor...
That's what the two players of this server asks of her in confusion.
"Ah, don't worry about that. My friend will take care of it." Fubuki simply replied before continuing with her stream.
Fubuki already knows that it would be bad if some person saw her appearance. So Ayumi took it upon herself to always greet whoever visited them while Fubuki hides.
Also, the guys who saw Fubuki when she tried to protect Ayumi doesn't remember her so her identity is still safe. And even if some people somehow saw Fubuki's current appearance, the JSIB Yokohama Branch will quickly use hypnosis or do something else to make them silent.
Anyway, while Fubuki was playing with her new friends, Ayumi quickly cuts the recording of her video before leaving it open as she goes to the entrance door. She was still not done with what she was drawing. Well, she was in the middle of doing her second fanart when she heard the doorbell.
When she opens the entrance door, she saw Matsuri on the other side with a large smile on her face.
"Good morning Ayumi-chan!~" Matsuri greeted her cheerfully. "You are still hiding your face, what a waste." She continued as she notice Ayumi wearing a hoodie once again.
Ayumi was already used to putting her hood whenever she goes out of her house. It became a habit that she unconsciously does due to not wanting the others to see her face.
"Natsuiro-san... what brings you here?" Ayumi asked in a curious tone.
"Well, I was going to the city but my friends have other plans today." Matsuri said before she looks at her with her gaze lighting up. "So, I want to invite you!" She said in anticipation.
"... Eh!?" Ayumi was surprised that she was suddenly invited to go out with Matsuri. 'But we just met each other two days ago. How did this happen!?' Ayumi thought in confusion.
This is going too fast even for Matsuri who was known to be a lot more approachable than most of the Hololive Members. But Matsuri seems to really like to invite Ayumi out for a walk.
'But Fubuki is still here...' Ayumi thought to herself. "I am sorry, I can't leave the house." So Ayumi use that reason with an apologetic look.
She doesn't know if Matsuri knows anything about the supernatural. And she still haven't prepared anything to recruit any Hololive Members due to not having enough space in her house. She was still looking for any free areas that she can use to start a company to create the Hololive group.
Because of these reasons, so she still doesn't have a plan to let Matsuri see Fubuki for now.
"Eh... then, I'll just hang out in your house!~" But it seems like Matsuri quickly bounces back as she walks towards the entrance of Ayumi's home.
"Heh!?" Ayumi was surprised.
She didn't have a time to stop her on entering. And well, Matsuri thinks that she was pretty welcome because Ayumi doesn't even block her. If Ayumi really doesn't like her to go inside, she would be putting a lot more effort on stopping Matsuri.
'... Well, this is a good time to get to know her.' Ayumi thought in resignation. 'But I must not let her see Fubuki-chan. It would be bad if she saw a real fox girl.' Ayumi thought to herself in determination.
"Wow, you have a nice house here!~" Matsuri says as she looks around the living room. "And woah, isn't this the latest Axer Brand TV!?" She said as she saw the large flat screen TV on it.
'Oh right, I also have that. I thought it would be good if Fubuki wants to watch something so I ordered a flat screen TV. It seems like it wasn't even used since I bought it.' Ayumi thought to herself as she sees the flat screen TV there.
Fubuki became engrossed in computer games and mobile games so it seems like she doesn't have a time to watch the TV.
"I hope the scenery here satisfies you." Ayumi mutters to herself. "So, I'll be bringing some snacks. Please help yourself there." She said as she pointed to the sofa on the living room.
Then she walks to the kitchen room to whip up some simple snacks.
"Okay!~" Matsuri simply replies as she looks around the place.
This is the first time Matsuri saw the interior of this place. It's been a long time since someone tries to live here after all. She thought it would be looking somewhat unclean because this house was not being used for six months. Even if the people who was in charge of maintaining this house occasionally cleans this place, there should be some cracks or wears on some parts of the walls or the ceilings.
So it was a surprise that the house still looks very new.
It was thanks to Ayumi's House Chores ability and also her Psychokinesis and Analysis. By combining those three, she can fix anything in this house to their molecular structure, turning it into looking new and this house is much sturdier because she patches all the flaws up to the molecular structure of each parts of this house.
Anyway, Matsuri was also just passing time. She can't just go back home after she goes out and told her mother that she will be out for awhile. She was slightly embarrassed about going back that fast.
She was thinking of passing the time in this place and going back home before evening. Her house was just at the other side of Ayumi's house so it was fine.
"Hm?" Matsuri smelled a nice aroma coming from somewhere.
Due to curiosity, she tries to find the scent. This leads her to the dining room, just near the large kitchen room where Ayumi was cooking.
"Wow! You can cook!?" Matsuri exclaimed as she saw Ayumi making some potato chips.
The potatoes were sliced thinly and it was lightly covered with salt and powdered pepper. Ayumi expertly deep fries all the potato chips and quickly scoops it up after some seconds.
For Ayumi, she thinks lightly cooked potato chips are the best. Also, it was sliced too thinly so she only deep fry it for a few seconds before scooping it all up.
By the way, the dining room and the large kitchen room was open to each other. It was only separated by an L-shaped wall desk. That's why Matsuri can see Ayumi even when she was still at the dining room.
"Ah! Natsuiro-san! Just wait for a bit, this'll be done soon!" Ayumi said while panicking inside her mind. 'I thought she will just stay on the living room!' She thought to herself.
"Amazing! So you can cook at this age!?" Matsuri said before looking at the thinly sliced potatoes. "And these are expertly cut." She said as she pick one of the chips.
Matsuri was a decent cook by the way. She mostly does that as a hobby because her mother was the one who was always in charge of any chores on the house.
So coming from her, it was already a great praise. Mostly because what she was seeing is a young child who looks like 12 or 13 years old that can somehow cook beautifully.
"Okay, this is done. Let's go back to the living room." Ayumi said as she scoop up the last potato chips on her deep frier.
She was planning to carry the bowl to the living room when Matsuri quickly helps her out on it.
"I'll take care of this!" Matsuri said with a smile.
"... Thanks. Then, I'll just clean up here." Ayumi said before turning back to her kitchen to clean what she uses.
"Ah! Your such a good girl!~" Matsuri can't help but be amazed by Ayumi due to her being responsible.
Ayumi can somewhat understand why Matsuri is amazed by her. She was a child in appearance after all.
'But I am 25 in my past life...' She thought to herself with a guilty feeling.
After awhile, Ayumi was done taking care of the kitchen and it's tools. She goes to her refrigerator to take a large bottle of cola and an orange juice. She knows that not everyone prefers cola unlike her.
When she got to the living room, she can hear Matsuri exclaiming in excitement as she picks more potato chips to munch on.
"Hmmm!~~ What is this!~ This is too good!~~" She exclaimed in bliss, one of her hand is on her cheek while the other is putting some potato chips on her mouth.
"... Uhmmm, drinks?" Ayumi prompted as she arrives there and let her see the two bottles that she was carrying.
"Oh, Ayumi-chan! And yes please!~" Matsuri said as she gestured for Ayumi to sit besides her.
Ayumi obliges and goes besides the sofa where she sits. Then she put the two bottles and the two cup containers so they can drink whatever they want.
'Hmm... well, I can just continue my interrupted video after this. It's not like I am streaming anyway. Editing it is easy enough.' Ayumi thought, recalling about her computer that she left open.
"How did you manage to make this thin!? And why is this so delicious!?" Matsuri asks in wonder with her eyes lighting up in interest.
"Ah... practice?" Ayumi tried to answer nervously.
She can't say she manages to do that because of her abilities. And she wasn't confident that she can lie convincingly (which she can if she was just a bit more confident to herself).
It's just thanks to her Charisma score that she became convincing enough.
"Is that so? That's amazing!~" Matsuri praises her and then patted her head.
'... Even though I am a young girl in this life, it still felt weird being patted like this.' Ayumi thought while having an indescribable feeling of whether she should be happy or shy.
"Ahaha, I wanna hug you right now!~" And it seems like Matsuri was becoming excited due to how cute she is with her face being hidden like that.
"Ah!?"
Matsuri just really hugs her. She was squeezed gently by the excitable girl as she felt her head on her bosom.
This causes Ayumi to freeze up. She was surprised by this sudden close contact.
"Wow, your so soft!~" Matsuri exclaimed as she squeezed her a bit harder.
"Awawawawawawa!?" Ayumi was becoming a bit red on her face as she felt the nice scent of this excitable girl.
It only makes her a bit more submissive, which causes Matsuri to become a bit over the top.
"Aaaah!~~ I wanna hug you like this forever. Do you like my hug?~" She asks as she tries to pat Ayumi's head once again.
"... Auuuuu..." This causes Ayumi to become a lot more embarrassed. 'Why is she hugging me!? And wait, isn't she hugging me a lot longer than normal!?' She thought in a panic.
Then she recalls what most people calls Matsuri in her past life.
'That's not possible!' Ayumi thought in denial. '... I think?' Though her belief was slowly losing due to Matsuri's intimate embrace.
It actually encourages Matsuri to act a bit more boldly because Ayumi was just letting her. She gently took off Ayumi's hood, taking off the cover on Ayumi's face.
"!?" And this causes her to also freeze in shock.
It actually causes Ayumi to recover for a bit because Matsuri's embrace softens for a bit and she felt Matsuri becoming a bit stiff. When she looks at her face though, she felt that somehow, she was in danger.
As for Matsuri...
'SHE IS HIDING A CUTE FACE LIKE THIS!? SO CUTE!~~~' She was gushing at her in affection as she saw her real appearance.
Ayumi's appearance was an obsidian haired girl that reaches up to her waists, her eyes the color of verdant green. She have a baby looking face that was on the verge on becoming a teenage beauty. Her skin was a healthy pink, and she have a perfectly shaped nose. Her head was a bit circular, but it just added to her already cute face.
Basically, she have this mix of innocent cuteness and gentle elegancy on her appearance. Thanks to her Charisma, Physique, and Fitness, so her appearance was essentially changed for a much more superior one.
She have an appearance that was like sculpted by a godly artist. An idealized version of a young girl who was on the middle of her puberty. That's one of the explanations about her appearance.
It makes Matsuri's more perverted instincts to surface as she felt a little bit too excited on her appearance. She wants to hug her and cuddle with her like a little sister.
Which causes Ayumi's instincts to basically scream of her about the danger.
"Ayumi-chan... can this big sister touch you more for a bit. Just a little bit!~~" Matsuri said with her breathing growing a bit faster than it should be.
"N-n-natsuiro-san... what are y-you planning..." Ayumi fearfully asks as she tries to get away from the sofa.
But she can't because of Matsuri's arm is still scooping her from behind. It also makes Matsuri a lot more excited because of Ayumi's flustered look.
Ayumi can easily get out of Matsuri's embrace. But she doesn't want to hurt her so she doesn't even know what she should do.
"Don't worry, Big Sister Matsuri will be gentle!~~"
After Matsuri says that...
"Hands off Ayumi!"
Suddenly, two pairs of feet (wearing black shoes) hits Matsuri's face.
"Gyaaaah!?" And it causes Matsuri to lose her hold on Ayumi as she fell on the floor, unconscious.
"Eh?"
Ayumi was surprised when she saw those pair of feet.
"Phew... got here in time!" Fubuki said with a relieved expression before she turned her attention to Ayumi. "Wait, are you okay!?" Fubuki asks in concern as she touches her everywhere.
"A... Yes... I think?" Ayumi can only answer like that with an unsure tone. "Wait, how did you know? I thought you are streaming!" Ayumi asks that when she recalls it.
"Hm? I just felt it?" Fubuki simply answers with a tilt of her head.
'Cute...' Ayumi thought to herself before she quickly shook her head. "For now... uhmm, let's take care of Natsuiro-san."
"Her? What is she doing to you by the way?" Fubuki asks as she turn her gaze on the girl who's eyes are currently swirling.
"... Friendly hug?" Ayumi says before feeling shy about it again.
"Is that so! Ah sorry, my body just moves on instinct when I saw you two together like that. I thought you are in danger!" Fubuki honestly felt apologetic as she scratches her head.
"It's okay... uhmm, I think she is also fine... somehow..." Ayumi said when she took a cursory glance at Matsuri.
Using Analysis, she saw Matsuri somehow have a slight concussion that causes her to become unconscious. Other than that, there are nothing broken at her.
It was surprising because Matsuri is just a normal human while Fubuki have an enhanced strength due to the Arctic Fox's power and also some of the status enhancing consumables that Ayumi sometimes ask Fubuki to eat so she can also protect herself.
'Hmm... maybe she's just lucky?' Ayumi thought before carrying Matsuri on the sofa and letting her rest comfortably there.
In the end, it took until near the evening before Matsuri woke up. Of course, Fubuki came back to streaming after Ayumi assures her that nothing of the sort will happen again.
Matsuri seems to have forgotten what she did to Ayumi. She thought she slept after Ayumi sits besides her.
She bids a farewell to Ayumi's way and leave the house with a satisfied look.
"... She really is a lolicon..." Ayumi muttered that after Matsuri passes through the gate.

So this is literally a filler chapter. Well, I've already decided to turn this arc into a filler one. This was supposed to be a slice of life story anyway. I just put some complicated plots on the background so I can better integrate the Hololive Members in this world.
Anyway, some people finally notice Ayumi and Suisei's family name being the same. Yes, I have a plan about that (which might be pretty predictable, but I still won't say it for now so I'll just leave you speculating)
On an unrelated note, I just noticed that I surpassed all of my stories by word count. Now I am near on surpassing the chapter count that I made on the other stories if I continue on my pace as it is.
I didn't thought that this story will become popular. I was just planning to continue this because I got addicted to Hololive on August. Thank you for all of your support!
