We all looked up at the boy in the mask before Kakashi came down and checked on Zabuza. We all waited as he checked his pulse. From the look on his face, he really was dead.
"Thank you very much. I have been searching for the opportunity to kill Zabuza for a long time." he told us.
"That mask, you're a hidden mist Hunter-Nin..." Kakashi said.
"Impressive. You are correct." he confirmed.
"Hunter-Nin?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, my duty is to hunt down minning-nins. I'm a member of the Hidden Mist's Hunter-Nin Team." the boy said. From his voice and height he probably wasn't much older than the Genin yet he was a Hunter-Nin. He's not a normal kid.
"What the Hell?!" Naruto shouted out. "Who are you?!"
"Don't worry Naruto, he's not an enemy." I told him.
"I'm not asking that!" he shouted at me. "That Zabuza... That Zabuza was killed! A guy that strong... A guy that strong was killed by a kid! By a kid not much different from me! We look stupid! How can I understand that?!"
"Well, we know how you fell." I told him.
"But, this is also the truth." Kakashi said hubbing his head. "In this world, there are kids younger than you yet stronger than Sage or myself." The Hunter-Nin appeared next to Zabuza from the tree he was in and picked him up.
"Your battle is now over. And now I must dispose of this body. Since it seems to be a body with many secrets. Farewell." he formed a hand sign before he and Zabuza's body disappeared.
"He's gone!" Naruto called out. Kakashi replaced his forehead protector over his eye and looked at everyone.
"Now we have to get Tazuna back home." he said. "Let's go!"
"Hahaha! Super thanks, guys!" Tazuna said. "Come over to my house and relax for a while!" Suddenly Kakashi fell over.
"Huh?! What's wrong?!" Sakura asked as we all went to him.
"Kakashi-sensei!" I put his arm over my shoulders and we all went to Tazuna's house where we could get him somewhere to rest.
"Are you alright, Sensei?" Tazuna's daughter Tsunami asked Kakashi.
"Yeah, I just can't move for a week or so." Kakashi told her.
"What?" Sakura asked. "The Sharingan is incredible but if it puts that much stress on the body, I guess you have to think before using it."
"Rest Kakashi. Everyone will be safe here." I told him and he went to sleep.
"Well, we defeated that strong of a Ninja this time." Tazuna said as we moved to another room. "We should be safe for a while!"
"By the way, who was that masked kid?" Sakura asked.
"That's the mask worn by the Hidden Mist Special Hunter-Nin Team." I told her. "They are also known as Body Erasers. Their duty is to completely dispose of the body without a trace. A Ninja's body has within it secrets of the village's Ninjutsu information on different Chakra types, herbs, and other things that will reveal things about the village. For example, if Kakashi died, the secrets of the Sharingan could be revealed. If you don't be careful there's the danger that the enemy will steal your Jutsu. A Ninja's body can reveal important information. So, by killing and disposing of the Missing-Nins who have abandoned their village. The Hunter-Nins protect the information from getting out. They are the specialists who guard their village's secrets. No sound. No smell. That is a Ninja's end." I thought about the incident all those years ago and looked away from the kids.
"So that Zabuza has been chopped up and disposed off? Scary!" Sakura said. I thought about the fight. Something was bothering me. I was missing something important, what was it? I gasped once I realized what it was. It couldn't be!
