Chapter 37 : Lone Trip In Nakatane
'It's been so long since that incident happened. For me, that was the greatest regret of my life. Having this second chance to prove myself, I will make sure that she will be happy in her life. This is my only redemption. That's why, I hope you have a happy life. Your father will always support you.'
*Knock* *Knock*
"Enter!"
*Creaks* *Click*

"Section Leader, the Aqua Faction has visited this land. What should we do?"
"... Is their leader among with them?"
"Yes!"
"Invite them. I think they are here because of that case again."

'Hmph. It doesn't matter who are they. For my daughter, I'll fight even the strongest faction of Japan.'
It was early morning when Ayumi woke up.
Looking besides her, she can see Fubuki sleeping on the other bed.
Based on Ayumi's prediction, it seems like Fubuki came back late at night.
The two of them checks in on the same room so Fubuki was also staying in her room.
Ayumi stood up and quickly goes to the bathroom to clean herself up.
She have an urge to also clean the whole place but she recalls that she was on another place so she stops herself. It wasn't her house to begin with.
After she finishes washing herself, she quickly took a change of clothes for herself (which is just another set of hoodie).
As she got ready to leave, she looks at Fubuki who was still sleeping on the bed peacefully.
Ayumi thinks about it for awhile before she moves towards Fubuki and gently nudge her to wake up.
"Fuaaah... Munya munya..."
'Cute...' Ayumi can't help but think like that as she saw Fubuki making incoherent noises like that.
She tried to nudge her some more until Fubuki slowly opens her eyes. She looks really drowsy.
"Fubuki-chan, I will be leaving now. Please take care and always stick close to Aqua-san." Ayumi said to the sleepy fox girl. "Also, remember to use anything in your dimensional... I mean, Steve's Ring when you are in danger okay?" She continued with a bit of a stutter.
Fubuki can only nod at her sluggishly before she tries to take a comfortable position on the bed and snuggle her pillow.
'... I'll just leave a note then...' Ayumi thought as she saw Fubuki going back to sleep once again.
Even with her prediction telling her that Fubuki somewhat understood her, she wants to make sure that her advise was thoroughly followed. She was still overprotective of her.
Ayumi quickly took a sticky note on her dimensional ring and a pen before she wrote anything she can write in it. Well, it was just a few advice due to the note being a bit too short. She doesn't want to overwhelm Fubuki with a lot of notes so she only limited herself to a single sticky note.
After she was done with it, she finally started going out. Before that, she goes to the receptionist and says that her friend is still staying in this place. She paid an additional bill so Fubuki can stay in this hotel for the duration of the festival.
She also didn't forget to transfer a hundred million yen on Fubuki's account. With this, she'll have a lot of spending money to use when she was with Aqua's group.
It seems like Fubuki managed to deplete the ten million yen that Ayumi transferred to her. So Ayumi made it a hundred million yen. Ayumi was amazed that Fubuki can consume that amount of money through Gacha and some boxes of her favorite food.
Anyway, Ayumi goes out of the hotel after that.
"Huh... so it was really a week long festival huh..." Ayumi muttered to herself as she saw the people still having a festive air with them.
In fact, there are a lot more crowds today than yesterday.
'Hmm... it is still too early. The sun is just going to rise.' Ayumi thought to herself.
She looks at her mobile to see the current date. It seems like it was August 28.
"So tomorrow is Sunday. Which means, it's the day the Initiation Program will occur. All three cities of Tanegashima will have this kind of event on their festival so even if I go to Nakatane, I think I can still encounter that weird program." Ayumi muttered to herself as she begins walking to the bus stop.
Even with the traffic of crowds on the streets, she easily manages to slip through them thanks to her Evasion.
She got to the bus stop. It seems like the bus is already there and was waiting for some passengers to get into. So she quickly gets into it along with some other people who are also waiting for a bus.
When she got to the seat, she took her mobile again and then opens it.
'Time to look into my account.' She thought to herself.
Then she looks into her Chirper account.
Even with her objective focused on looking out for Matsuri, she still won't forget about her own routine, which is to check into her accounts and also do her daily streams.
'Well, I can't really stream while I am on the bus. It's too loud in this place. I should look for somewhere quiet, like another hotel room.' Ayumi thought to herself.
The bus started moving as she busied herself on updating her profile and browsing some things on the internet.
It only took more than an hour before Ayumi arrives at Nakatane.
Her first plan is to check in on another hotel. Then, she will look for Matsuri. There is also the additional plan of checking out the Initiation Program on this weird local festival.
She have already research the places of Nakatane so she knows where is the nearest and recommended hotel for people.
'This world is really different. There are a lot of people living in the three towns of Tanegashima, unlike what I read on my past life about this place.' Ayumi thought to herself.
As she says, there are many people in this city. It's not a town like what's on her past life.
Facts like this always reminds Ayumi that she was living in a different Earth. It makes her a bit lonely thinking like that.
While she hates herself in her past life, she loves her family. She also have some friends, albeit on the internet. She have a lot of things in her former world that she wanted to see in this world at least once.
'The members of Hololive gave me a surprise that they exist in this world. Though, they are the characters themselves.' Ayumi idly thought.
When she first woke up as Hoshimachi Ayumi, she slowly thought of dealing with not having anything in this world that she can relate to. Almost anything is different. Every cities in this world felt like a different place altogether whenever she search it up on the internet. There is no recognizable names anywhere in this world. In fact, she only see the brands computer brands, browsers, and mobile brands as the only thing that makes her recall her past life because these are the only ones that somehow doesn't change in this world.
She thinks nothing else will get into this world other than mere counterparts. So it was a surprise when she learned that the exact characters from Hololive will exist in this world.
'I am glad they exist. Even if I don't know them that much, they remind me of what I like in my past life.'
She still felt a bit lonely because she knows something that the people of this world doesn't. But she can cope up thanks to the existence of Fubuki.
'I need to find the others soon. And I really should get into planning how I will be building the Hololive group.' Ayumi thought to herself like that as she got near to the hotel that she will be checking in.
"Wake up people! It's time to start our second day of camping!"
Matsuri shouted to the camp and uses a ladle and a pot lid to smack it at each other, making the others groan in frustration.
"Ah! I want to sleep more..."
"Damn it Matsuri-san, quiet down!"
"Five more minutes..."
"... I don't want to get up..."
"It's too early..."
Each of her classmates says in unwillingness.
"Oh, you don't want to eat breakfast then?" Matsuri says before turning her back. "Okay!~ Then I'll eat it all by myself!~" She said in a sing song voice.
Her classmates stood rigidly after hearing her say that. Then they hurriedly stood up before they quickly try to follow up.
"Wait! Damn it! I am awake!"
"Matsuri-san, don't take it all!
"That's dirty!"
"Aaaaaaaaaah!"
"This is unfair, Matsuri-chan!"
The group of two girls and three guys says as they madly dashes out of their tent.
As to why they are like this, it was because they know Matsuri was a good cook. They tasted what she cooks when they have a culinary activity in their school. Matsuri easily wins by a large margin when it happens.
Matsuri was just whistling as she waits for her group to come here.
Her class was separated by five groups. Each group consists of six people.
Matsuri is on the third group. And she quickly got the leader status on the group because she was much more proactive than anyone in her group.
Their other classmates are even jealous at Matsuri's group because they have Matsuri while the others are stuck with the others. Matsuri is friends with anyone and when it comes to group activity, she easily helps the others out. She was much more effective if the activity includes physical ones like cleaning or cooking or even sports.
She was also a part of a cheerleading team in their school, and was pretty popular in there.
So a lot of people wants to get close to her.
Of course, those who knows her can only laugh at the guys who wants to be together with Matsuri. They know what she likes, so they know that they will be quickly shot down by her. Which truly happened a lot of time. Thankfully, Matsuri was gentle when she refuses those guys, though it still makes them bleed in the heart.
The rude guys who forces themselves on her we're quickly taken care of by her friends. That's how popular she is.
Anyway, she is a good team to have whenever it involves a group activity so everyone wanted to join her.
Matsuri was also aware of this. But she wasn't really doing this because of the popularity. She was doing what naturally came to her.
"Okay! All of you finally woke up!" Matsuri said while feeling smug about it.
Her group can only roll their eyes, though they sit on the campfire where she cooks their meal.
"We only have a few things with us so I only made something simple. It might lack in taste but it was filling enough." Matsuri said as she took a ladle and scoop up some soup on it.
The others also get theirs in turn. It was a soup that Matsuri made. There is also a rice cooked besides them. Matsuri also did that.
"Wow! Delicious!" One of her friend says.
"You manage to cook it like this even without the usual cooking tools." A guy that was a part of her group said in amazement.
"Ah... thank you..." Matsuri felt a bit flustered at being praised honestly like that.
She was a bit weak to praises.
While they are eating, their teacher got in the middle where all the tents from their class were made and he calls them out.
"Class, gather up!"
Matsuri and the others are curious why their teacher is here. Yesterday, he told them that he will be going back here after Sunday. Now, he was telling them to gather up.
They can only gather near their teacher while being curious about this.
"Okay, there is a change of plans. It seems like a guest will be coming here sooner. I want you all to be respectful if she comes."
"Huh?" Matsuri can't help but utter that in confusion.
The other students were also confused what's happening.
"I think you are confused so let me explain..."
And with that, he explained to them.
It seems like the one managing the festival got word of a school going to this place to do their camping trip. So they wanted to do wanted the students to participate in their festival.
Normally, this would be denied by the one in charge of the camping trip. This is pretty mandatory for school to do this as part of the extracurricular activities.
But somehow, they just let these people interfere with their job so the students can join the festival.
"Don't worry about it. Nothing will be deducted on your grades even if we stay for a bit more here. The mayor of Nakatane even said that he will cover the cost of letting you stay here for a week." Their teacher informed them in a casual tone.
"W-wait!? What did you say!?" One of Matsuri's classmates asks in shock.
The others were also shocked when they heard what their teacher said.
Their plan is to only stay here for three days before going back to Yokohama. Extending their stay here will make their families worry for them.
"Don't worry about it. We will call all your families to take their permission." Their teacher reassured them.
"What about the other class." One of the guys from their class asks that.
"They are being informed by their homeroom teachers." Their teacher answered lightly.
The others were now thinking about the offer after that. Matsuri was also thinking about it.
'Well, I think it won't be anything dangerous. It's just the festival we're going to participate into. And in fact, I also want to go there!' Matsuri thought before nodding to herself, deciding on her new plans.
"Okay class, go and pack your things. We will go back to Nakatane City." Their teacher told them, which the students quickly obliges.
Some of the students are even doing it a bit too eagerly. It seems like some of them doesn't like camping on the wilds at all.
Matsuri thought of the things she can do on the festival with a smile. She doesn't feel worried because for her, she was assured by their teacher. Their teacher won't lie to them after all.
"Ohakon!~~"
Fubuki said that to her viewers.
First thing in the morning, Fubuki woke up and saw the note that Ayumi left on her. She folded it and put it in her Steve's Ring before opening her mobile to start her morning stream.
Yes, she won't forget about her stream even when she was in the middle of the trip.
Ayumi also told her that she should have fun on herself while Ayumi finishes what she is doing.
Aqua and the others seems to be not awake yet so Fubuki was going to do her morning stream first before she goes with them.
"I am currently in a trip, so I won't be able to make a stream after this." Fubuki said that first to notify her viewers.

This also makes most of her viewers to became horrified once again.

While that is happening, Aqua was still sleeping peacefully in her bed when Choco, who was already awake, get inside the room while carrying some plastic bags.
Choco has just gone out awhile ago to buy some meal for them. Of course, she put Ollie besides Rushia's bed before she goes out.
When she got inside, Aqua's nose moves a little before she opens her eyes slowly. It seems like she smelled the fragrance of the food inside it.
"Oh, good morning Aqua-chan. Here, have some of this to warm your stomach." Choco said as she took a package of food and handed it on Aqua.
Aqua was still a bit lightheaded. She said her thanks on Choco's way as she took hold of that package of food. Then she did a yawn and slowly took her lightheadedness out by just staring for a bit on the space before she finally get to unwrapping her food.
It seems like Choco buys a Chinese Takeout. It have many things inside it, with all of them still being warm.
While she was busy doing that, the others are also stirring on their slumber as they smell the fragrance of the food that Choco has brought here.
"Ah, I smell something delightful." That was Ayame.
"Hmm..." That was Shion.
"Nn..." That was Rushia.
"Huh..." And that was Towa.
Ollie is still asleep. It's not like because she can't wake up anymore but because Rushia was still not waking her up. As for her reason, it was because she was too loud (which makes her friends look at her with a deadpan stare).
As to why Aqua thinks it wasn't that problematic?
That was because she thinks Ollie was just that girl who likes to sleep for a long time. She also thinks she was playing along with Shion and the other's delusions because she thinks they are just kidding around when they say they are a part of the supernatural. Basically, she thinks they are chuunis.
Aqua was also that someone who likes to sleep for a long time when Shion and the others are still not a part of her life. So she was basing Ollie with her standards.
Anyway, as the four others woke up, Choco distributed their meals one-by-one before she sits on the other bed and opened her own meal.
After eating their fill, Aqua was just planning to get to the bathroom first to clean herself when she heard a knock on their room.
She doesn't think much about it and waits for the others to take care of it.
The others though have their gaze sharpening as they tensed up, their drowsiness was all but gone as their concentration heightens.
They can feel that the people on the other side might be a mage. They can easily tell due to the aura they are emanating that was only unique to the users of Mana.
"I'll get the door." Choco said as she stood up and walks over to the door and open it.
On there, she can see that it was a man who wears a black suit commonly seen for a business man. He also wears black sunglasses. There are other guys besides him who also wears the same as him.
"Good morning people from the Aqua Faction. We have come here after hearing about your arrival on this island." The guy asks in a crisp tone.
"So... are you here to ask about our intentions?" Choco said as she stares at him.
"Yes. Tanegashima's Section Leader was asking your leader's presence so they can talk on each other. If you may please..."
"Nah. We're coming with her if you are going to say it like that!" Shion quickly pipes in as she gazes at the guy with some hostility.
They know Aqua was pretty ignorant and outright denial of the supernatural, so they know she will only get confuse if she goes there alone. Whenever someone from the other factions wants to meet with Aqua, Shion or someone from them always comes along with Aqua so she doesn't make a fun out of herself.
"Of course. As long as it is convenient to you." The guy in black said in a smooth manner.
"Good!" Shion said with a nod before looking at them. "Now then, get out now. We'll be following you later." She said that with a slight irritation.
"Of course, we will await your arrival." The guy said before all of them turned their back and walks out of their sight.
Choco closes the door before she turned onto them.
"Ugh... this is so tiresome. We always need to visit those idiots everytime we go somewhere." Shion muttered that in an irate manner.
"Well, we are on a human society. We can't just ignore the people of the authority here. It will compromised Aqua's daily life." Choco said with a wry smile on her way.
This is pretty common for them everytime they made a trip somewhere on this world. The factions on that area will always want to have a word for them to learn what is their intent. It was basically what's happening everytime a well-known faction goes to someone's area. They will ignore it if it was a no name faction.
But Aqua's Faction was considered the seventh strongest faction in Japan. So the other big factions will always want an insurance that they won't do something that will harm the faction of that area.
Basically, it's just mere platitudes. The visitor will state their intentions, and the one being visited will decide whether they are hostile or not.
It's like a meet up between the nation's leader. They can't just go to another country unannounced. They always need to state their presence to the one who owns that country. That's what's also happening between the factions in this whole world.
"Oh, how about Fubuki-san?" Ayame recalled and reminded her friends about their new friend.
"Ah! It would be bad if we leave her. Ayumi-san entrusted her to us. We can't also afford to provoke that mysterious girl." Shion said in thoughtful tone before she turned her gaze on Towa. "So, you should stay with her!" Shion said like it was a done deal.
Towa was still trying to quietly eat her meal in peace when she heard Shion says that. Seeing that Shion was pointing her finger at her, she can't help but whine in rejection, only at her mind.
'Why me?' She asks to herself in wonder.
"Now that's decided. Let's wait for Aqua to finish washing herself." Ayame said with a clap of her hands.
"Ah right... Hey Aqua, can't you finish a bit faster!" Shion quickly goes besides the door to the bathroom as she said it like that.
"Waaaaah! Are you serious!? I just got inside here!" Aqua complained on the other side of the door.
"I don't care! We have an appointment to those government guys again! That's why you should get it done quickly!" Shion just said it bluntly like that.
"But I am still waiting for the water to become a bit more warmer!" Aqua reasoned.
"That'll take too long! Just jump in there and soak yourself for a minute!" Shion replied in a brash manner.
"That's too cruel!" Aqua can't help but cry like that.
Ayame and the others can't help but shake their heads at the two's antics.
