She scraps that plan when she saw with her telekinetic analysis that the people on the forest were going back to this city. Thanks to her Psychokinesis and Analysis combined, she can even learn if it was a human or not so long as her telekinetic reach managed to interact with them.
Which she obviously can because her telekinetic reach covers half of Asia now.
She doesn't know who are the people she can reach, of course. But her Prediction helps on inferring where Matsuri is by just a process of elimination. There is a high chance that the group of people going out of that forestry was Matsuri and her class itself.
So Ayumi decided to wait on this city, on the road in which she predicted that most of the class will pass through. She will take a quick glance and see if Matsuri is among with the group of people that she detected.
The place where she is waiting is a local meat and fish shop, with a waiting shed besides it.
She sits on the waiting shed besides it and then opened her mobile.
'I am still waiting for them to come through here, so I think it's fine to look into my mobile while waiting for them, right?' She thought to herself while operating her mobile.
She quickly goes through the YouTube Channel and look up Fubuki. There, she can see that she was currently doing a livestream.
Seeing her play Azur Line and trying to get ten Sakura Empire units, Ayumi can't help but smile bitterly.
'What's this? She can't even get anyone from the Sakura Empire other than the ones from the Common.' Ayumi thought to herself as she looks at the horrible rolls that Fubuki was getting.

While Ayumi was making plans to meet up with Matsuri, Fubuki was in her room, preparing for the day to meet up with Aqua.
Well, she will when a knock on her door interrupts her plans.
"Yes?" Fubuki said in wonder as she gets closer to the door.
As she opens it, she saw Towa on the other side of it.
"Good morning."

Fubuki greeted back, though she is curious why is she here.
"So Aqua and the others have an appointment to someone. So they ask me to stay with you for awhile." It seems like Towa knows what she is thinking of because she immediately explained that after she was greeted back.
"... Is that so?" Fubuki says with a tilt of her head.
"Yes." Towa nodded before she looks around. "So, she have already left." She said with some disappointment in her tone.
"Hm? Do you need something for her?" Fubuki ask in curiosity.
"Well... it's just a personal thing. I think she might be able to help us." Towa said that honestly as she scratches the back of her head.
"What kind of thing?" Fubuki asks.
"Err... well fine, your a friend too." Towa shrugs her shoulder before she started speaking. "So, I am looking for my missing pet. It was a pet guardian that always watches over me... and it was taken by a child while I am busy at something. I think I can find my pet in this place." She told Fubuki that with a feeling of solemnity in her.
"Huh? How did a child get your pet? And who is your pet?" Fubuki ask while feeling curious about it.
"Bibi is my pet's name. And as to how it was taken..." Towa made a thinking gesture before she sighs in defeat. "... Even I don't know..." She said in a defeated tone.
"Hm... is that so?" Fubuki asks as she thinks about it for a bit. "So, how does Bibi look like?"
"It's my hat."
"Heh?"
"As I said. It was my hat." Towa said once again as she looks at the surprised Fubuki.
Even Fubuki can't comprehend how a hat can become a pet.
'I see... so maybe she was so busy that she doesn't notice a child taking it out of her head?' Fubuki made a misunderstanding like that.
She thought Towa was just talking about her missing hat. All the thoughts about looking for a cute pet was gone on her mind.
"By the way, how did you know it was a child who gets it?" Fubuki asks in wonder.
"Huh?" Towa thinks about that for awhile. "Well, I saw the child with my hat on her hands. I tried getting closer to her to get it but she just ran away. She just vanished when she turned to a corner." Towa said after thinking for a moment.

She thinks that Towa might have lost the child on the crowd. There are many people in this place so she thinks it was like that too when she lost her hat.
"Wait... when is that?"
"Last year."
'I see. So the hat might be very important for her if they are coming here to look for it.' Fubuki thought to herself.
Last night, even while she was busy playing on the shooting stall, she can also hear Ayumi and Choco speaking at each other. She learned that Aqua's group was hunting someone.
So she thinks they might be here to look for Towa's hat. The child who have it might be the one they are hunting.
'Maybe her hat is very important to her that even her friends were coming here just to look for it.' Fubuki thought like that.
She doesn't know that it was Towa's demon pet in the form of a cat-like hat. Demons and hats was normally out of context at each other after all.
"Okay. Thank you for sharing me that." Fubuki said before moving onto another topic. "By the way, where is Aqua going?" She asks in curiosity.
"Ah that. Well, it was the usual meet up with those bureaucrats." Towa simply answered her question.
"Why are they meeting up with that kind of person?" She ask in honest curiosity.
"... You don't know?"
When Fubuki nodded, Towa can only look at her in shock amazement.
"... Is there something wrong?" Fubuki asks in confusion.
Fubuki and Ayumi doesn't know that Aqua was the leader of the Aqua Faction. They don't even know that all of Aqua's members are well-known on the Other Side. What they only know is that they are also a part of the supernatural side, just like the two of them.
"Haaaaa... it seems like I also need to explain that..." Towa said that to Fubuki who can only look at her with a tilt of her head.
As Towa was explaining about the factions of the Other Side that she knows and also about their workings, Aqua's group was currently in front of the door inside the building that was near the city hall of Nishinoomote.
This building is the JSIB Tanegashima Branch main base of operation.
"Uh... are they going to make a psych evaluation of me again?" Aqua ask that in a whisper with a nervous expression.
"Of course not. Don't worry about it!" Shion also whispered back to her.
As to why Aqua asks that, it was because it also happened to her when she was still on the Minato Ward.
Truthfully, it was a screening from the JSIB itself to see about her intentions on the nation of Japan, but they learned that Aqua was really clueless about the supernatural so they just told her it was a psych evaluation.
Aqua take a gulp of air to calm herself before she timidly opens the door. Inside is an office where a man who might be in his forties is sitting.
"Welcome. Thank you for taking my invitation. I am Kinsaku Kiritsuba, Section Leader of the Tanegashima Island." The old man says as he got up to his seat and presented his hand on Aqua's direction.
Aqua doesn't know what to do about this situation, so she just timidly shakes his hand with a shy expression. Shion just rolled her eyes before looking sharply at Kiritsuba.
"Yeah right. It's fine already so just stop now." Shion bluntly told that to the old man.
Aqua quickly panics as she took her hand out of his grasp and then get to Shion's side in a quick manner.
"What are you doing Shion!?" She asks in a panic before quickly bowing her head in apology. "I am sorry for my friend's rudeness, she doesn't mean that!" Aqua said while feeling some tears come to her eyes.
"It was fine." Kiritsuba said with a wry smile before gesturing for them to sit.
The two of them get to the sofa adjacent to each other while the old guy got to the sit behind his office desk.
"So? I know why you invited us! You want to know what we are doing here right?" Shion quickly started with that, not giving Aqua the time to process anything else. "But I am sure you know that we came here for that case, right?" Shion continued, ignoring Aqua who was becoming flustered at her bluntness.
"As I thought." The man nodded to her words. "Is there nothing else?" The guy asks like he was probing onto them.
"Heh? Heh?" Aqua can't help but be confused about what the two are talking about.
"Of course not! We are here to look for that brat!" Shion said that as she crossed her arms and also her legs in an arrogant manner. "I wonder why we should even go to all this length when you already know what we are doing. Didn't we establish that our business here is always to find that brat?" Shion complained in a tone loud enough for the guy to hear it.
"Well... in my defense, your leader is also along with you." Kiritsuba said that as his gaze turned to Aqua. "Why is that, I wonder?" His question was directed at the flustered girl.
"M-me..." Aqua was flustered when she heard it. "... Wait a minute..." But she have a moment of realization as she heard how he talks and then she pointed her finger at him. "Your like them too!?" She accuses with a glare.
"... Excuse me, what?" Kiritsuba tensed up when he saw her glare. 'Did I get found out?' He thought as he was preparing himself to fight them both.
"Ah... why do I always encounter delusional people like you. And I became too nervous because of this idiocy!" Aqua grunted under her breath as she clearly shows her displeasure.
"Delusional...?" The guy muttered in shock.
"What? You've been talking to Shion like you can understand her nonsense, even though it doesn't make any context!" Aqua angrily answered. "What do you call that other than delusional? Are you a kid!" Aqua said in indignation.
As to why it all came to this, Aqua can tell from their speech patterns. All the people that she encounters always talk like they are some sort of mastermind of villain in some cheap anime plot. For her, no normal person would talk like that like it was natural.
She was thinking that this guy might be like those government person who screened her personally, but now she was misunderstanding that this guy and his lackeys might be just like those fat guys from her residence who kept calling themselves the Aqua's Crew.
Basically, she was looking at him as a Chuunibyo (a person who thinks they are special and have some special powers).
Aqua was pretty tired of encountering people like them. Even when she goes to other countries, any people that she encounters somehow talks like they know something. They always speak in some words that will make normal people look at them like they are an idiot.
Kiritsuba though, have something else in his mind.
'This is bad. She might have find out about my dealings with that personage. I can't let this go on, or else...' He thought to himself and then interrupted her by coughing. "Ahem, I think we are having a misunderstanding here." He tried to derail her (he thought) suspicion on him.
"Nah, we are done!" Aqua said as she stood up. "And I even became nervous because I thought a real bureaucrat was going to meet up with me." Aqua said that before she realizes what she is saying and she became depressed about it. 'Why would a person from the local government meet up with a normal person like me? Am I being infected by my friend's nonsense?' She wondered while feeling depressed about it.
Hearing her scathing criticism at his way, he was very alarmed.
'... So she knew huh...' The old guy thought to himself. 'But it seems like they still don't know that it was that personage who they are looking for.' He thought before frowning at his next thought. 'What should I do? This is the leader of one of the seven strongest faction in Japan!' He thought to himself as he clenches his fist.
He is still wondering how (she supposedly) got about his secret dealings. He was sure he didn't show any hints of that in their short conversation.
As Aqua was leaving, Shion just look at the guy with a mirthful grin. She knows why Aqua just acted like that. She was laughing internally about how the guy misunderstood Aqua.
Aqua's shyness was always gone everytime she thinks she is talking to the people she calls as a Chuunibyo or those convincing cosplayers.
Aqua's reason for that is because she have a lot of (supposedly) weirdoes as her acquaintances. So she thought she became use to people like them.
She doesn't like these people because unlike normal roleplayers, their (supposed) role-playing was always over exaggerated (she thinks). When they (act out) fight each other, they always do it for real. They also make use of their magic (or special effects in Aqua's mind).
She was even dragged out by their own delusions (fighting).
So she really hates people like them. She even thinks that there might be an organization out there where all of these people are a part of because somehow, each people she encounters somehow understands each other even though they are clearly strangers to each other.
She was even trying (futilely) to change Shion and the others to be a normal person (because she thinks it would be better for them to see reality as it is).
She doesn't even know that every person in this world sees her as a faction leader and misunderstood her as someone who was terrifying.
The JSIB knows that she doesn't have any knowledge about the supernatural. But this guy, Kinsaku Kiritsuba, doesn't have any knowledge about this due to not reading the updated files pertaining Minato Aqua herself. His knowledge of her is basically outdated, the one before the JSIB learns that Aqua was clueless about the supernatural.
Aqua was always misunderstood from the Other Side as someone who can see through ahead and someone who holds some mysterious power even though she is just a normal person who have a mysterious trait of attracting the supernatural on her way, intentional or unintentional.
Anyway, the guy can only look at the retreating back of Aqua and also Shion, who gave a snort on his way before she followed Aqua.
As the two girls left the room, he sat down with a grimace on his face.
Then, a girl suddenly appeared besides him after a minute pass.
"Oh my, it seems like we have been found out." The girl says that while exuding an aura of maturity.
"... I am sorry for my blunder. I don't know how she got a lead on me." Kiritsuba apologizes in regret.
"It doesn't matter. She still looks too green if she can't even detect me." The girl said in a sneer. "I think I can take her." She said in a confident tone.
"Is that so." He turned to her as he asks that.
Seeing her nodding in his way, he breathe a sigh of relief.
"I told you I am sorry!" Aqua cried in apology.
Shion was currently pinching both sides of her cheeks in anger. Currently, they are on their way back to the hotel where Fubuki and Towa are staying.
The others are also along with them now. As to why they are not along with them awhile ago, it was because only Shion and Aqua were allowed to get inside. It's for security purposes they say.
"Who are you calling an idiot?"
"I said I apologize!" Aqua whined in tears.
Then they heard her their stomach rumbling. It causes Shion to stop her pinching.
"... I think we need to eat first before going back." Shion says that, to which everyone agrees to do so.
They got to a local stall and was currently eating some barbecues.
"This is delicious!"
"Nn..."
"Oh my!"
Ayame, Rushia, and Choco said that respectively as they try out the food stalls on the streets. Shion was also taking on some of the street food that she saw.
"Ah... everyone..." Aqua try to get their attention as she felt something in her body. "I need to go to take care of my business... where is the comfort room for women?" She asks as she tries to hold it in.
"Hm? I think there is one from there!" Shion replied to her as she pointed on one of the public toilets before she put her attention back on the nice smell of the grilled meat and vegetables.
"Okay, I'll be back quickly!" Aqua said before quickly going there.
A few minutes later, she was done doing her business. As she was just going back to her friends, she was suddenly poke by a finger behind her.
Looking behind her, she saw a blonde haired girl who might be ten or eleven years old looking at her with a large smile on her face.
"Hey big sister! Can you play with me?" She asks that with a bright smile on her face.
"Huh... oh well, sure..." Aqua unconsciously answered as she looks at the girl who might be lost in the crowds. "Wait, are you lost?" She asks in wonder.
"No. I am not lost. I came here to look for you." The girl ask with a bright smile before she gazed straight to her eyes. "Hey big sister, you don't want to play with me?" She asks that while looking at her with an upturned gaze.
'... She might be lonely... maybe I should introduce her to my friends?' Aqua thought to herself before she gave a gentle smile on her way.
She was pretty weak to children too, more so if they are alone. Though it was more of a concern rather than that of an interest.
There are some young girls that she have met around this world anytime she was dragged by her friends.
She is still too shy when she was on a crowd, but if it was just a single child then she was fine on talking to them for a bit.
"I want to play with you alone. So can you please come with me?" The girl tried to appeal to her once more.
Aqua can't help but feel slightly hesitant before she sighs. She thinks the girl might be like her, someone who is too shy of strangers.
She thinks the girl might have thought she was also a young girl just like her because of her height (still a sensitive topic for Aqua).
So she looks back on the direction where Shion and the others are located before she looks at the child.
"Okay. But only for a short time okay?" Aqua said as she gave a gentle smile on the girl's way.
"Yaay!~ Then then... please call me Queen Doris!~" The girl, now named Doris, demanded on her in a childish way.
"Eh... are you into that kind of stuff?" Aqua ask while still feeling a bit miffed about those hardcore chuunibyos.
Seeing her nod in her way, Aqua can only sigh before she accepted her demand.
"Okay, so Queen Doris. Where should we go?" Aqua asks in a gentle manner.
"Yes!" Doris said in glee before she took a more dignified poise. "Then, we shall head to the headquarters where the old man is waiting." She said that with an entirely different attitude than she was doing awhile ago.
Aqua thinks the girl might be roleplaying now so Aqua also followed her lead. She sometimes try to act a chuuni when she got the mood to play with (supposed) delusions of her friends. She was also doing it like that.
"Yes Your Majesty!" Aqua gave her affirmative.
Though she quickly lowered her tone because she was reminded that they are still in a crowded area.
The two of them walks out of the crowd. As Aqua was following her from behind, Aqua didn't know that Doris have a wide grin on her face.
'How easy. So this is the leader of a faction?' Doris thought to herself in mockery. 'I managed to seal her in a contract with me just like that.' She thought to herself with a giggle.
"... This is..." Kiritsuba can't help but look at Aqua who was currently staring at him with a deadpan expression.
"This is the leader of the Aqua Faction. Minato Aqua right?" Doris said with a smirk on her face. "It was easy putting her as my attendant." She said that in a smug tone.
"So it seems." Kiritsuba says before looking at Aqua who is still staring at him with a clearly unamused expression. "... Are you really sure she is in your control?" He asks in wonder.
"Of course. She have call me Her Majesty. She was giving me the respect that I deserve." She said smugly before glancing on Aqua. "Isn't that right Aqua-chan?"
Aqua was still staring at the old guy before she sighs.
"Yes, it is." She said before looking at her. "Are you sure you want to play with this old man? I think he would be a bad influence for you." She says that while pointing accusingly at Kiritsuba.
She was honestly worried about Doris.
"... So you really managed to take her into your control. As expected of a fairy!" Kiritsuba said that in amazement while trying to ignore what Aqua just said.
As stated by Kiritsuba, Doris was a real fairy. She is a fairy staying on Tanegashima and was making deals with Kiritsuba.
As to what she (supposedly) did to Aqua. She made the Pact of Servitude by stating her real name to Aqua. It was a type of geass which forces the two parties to become a master and servant. Her conduit is her name and by her specialized magic, she managed to force Aqua to become her servant (she thinks).
Truthfully, Aqua wasn't affected at all. She have a necklace that can sense supernatural phenomenon. This necklace holds a small dragon's eye, which can see through everything in this world. Basically, she is immune to any falsehood.
The Pact of Servitude is a form of brainwashing geass. It forces the one who took the role of the servant to become eternally loyal to their master. Mind control is one form of falsehood so the dragon's eye makes Aqua immune to it.
The two of them doesn't know because Doris didn't know much about the factions of this world due to staying mostly to herself. Kiritsuba's knowledge was too outdated because he was busy for his own interest and his dealings with Doris.
Because they think Aqua is a proper Faction Leader, so seeing her talk like this convinces them that she might be in Doris' full control.
"... So, what are your plans for her?"
"Isn't that obvious. Your little princess will acquire a new supply of troops. I think Aqua-chan will become a good wild card for the game that will occur sooner." She said that with a chuckle.
"I see." Kiritsuba says before bowing at her respect. "Thank you for always taking care of my daughter." He said in gratitude.
"Of course. It is my pleasure to work with you." Doris said that with a smile on his way.
Aqua can only think that they are just doing some sort of roleplaying so she was just standing besides them quietly. When she saw Doris turn to her direction, Aqua straightened herself and get her act out.
"So Aqua-chan. I suggest going back to your teammates now. I am sure it will be fun making you as a great pawn to surprise those beings." Doris said with a devious smirk.
"Oh... okay, then I'll be going now. See you later!~" Aqua drops all her act and just casually says her farewell to Doris before she left the place.
She was also glad that Doris was satisfied this quickly. She doesn't want to be gone that long and make Shion and the other worry too much.
"... I wonder what they are talking about?" She thought confusion before she just shrugs. "Well, I can't really understand how their delusions go..." She said in a non-committal manner.
Shion and the others were currently looking for Aqua after she just seemingly vanished out of nowhere.
"Hey! That stupid girl! Where did she go!?" Shion asks with an irritated tone.
"Don't worry. I am sure she was fine. Aqua has proven that she can take care of herself." Choco said that in a calm manner.
Shion frowned as she thought about that. Even without saying it, she was pretty concerned on Aqua's state. The girl was prone to accidents, with most of it being the fault of her own clumsiness.
Aqua proved that she was skilled on a specific area (like combat and attracting supernatural events on her way) but she was strangely lacking on areas that requires common knowledge.
"Now what?" Shion asks that in wonder.
"Are you looking for me?"
"AAAAAAAAH!?" Shion was startled at Aqua's voice behind her.
This causes the others to also turn their attention to her.
"Sorry I got long. So what did I miss?" Aqua asks that with a tilt of her head.
"Don't scare me like that!" Shion gives a bonk on Aqua's head in anger.
"Ow! Hey! Violence is bad you know!" Aqua can't help but hold the head that Shion hits with her fist.
"That's for scaring me!"

While the two of them are having that back and forth, Choco thought about it for awhile before she speaks to Aqua.
"Aqua. Can you tell us where did you go?"
"Ah right... actually..."

"Okay guys, it seems like we have our target." Shion said with a dangerous glint on her eyes.

So I am back. This time with a long chapter.
Well... long for me because I am becoming tired of writing this chapter. That's why I ended this at that part.

Why this got long?
Well, I took your advice and get some rest. I was just planning to get a one day rest for writing this but... I made a mistake.
Specifically, I downloaded a new game. Which you might know, it was Azur Lane (I rented a WiFi because it was too large for my own wifi to handle).
Well... I became very engrossed playing it and doing whatever (my starter is Laffey by the way).
So that's why my mind might not be in this story for awhile... ugh, why did I do this to myself?
