Kakashi soon forgot the girl. That is until Obito makes his last requests of him. As they return to the village that Raven haired girl stood waiting near the gate. Minato let's put a breath then steps to go tell her the news.
"Sense, let me tell her. She needs to hear it from me."
The older blonde nods and stands next to Ren and watches as the silver haired boy goes up to Obito's younger twin sister. He takes her out near a tree and tells her the news. He catches her when she faints. Kakashi picks her up when she doesn't respond to him. He takes her to the hospital. The doctor states the shock caused her chakra to release within her body causing her memory to be wiped.
"The only issue is that we can't send her home like this. It could be worse."
"Doctor where is my home?"
Yuki looks at the doctor confused. Kakashi steps over to her and sets his hand on hers.
"Your home is with me. I'll take good care of you Yuki. I promised I would."
Yuki smiles lightly at him and nods.
"Okay. And I'll do my best to take care of you as well."
The doctor goes to say something but stops when the blonde haired Hokage stops the man.
"Im sure there is paperwork. I'll take care of that. Kakashi. Here's your wages. Take her home. You both need some rest."
He smiles sadly and leads the doctor out to talk to him. Kakashi has Yuki get on his back. He jumps along the roof tops to reach his small apartment. He sets her down inside.
"It's not much but it's home. We can go buy what ever you need tomorrow. I'll make us some dinner."
Kakashi shuts the door then moves to head to the kitchen only to be stopped by Yuki. She has ahold of his arm. She moves in front of him.
"You're hurt. You should have seen a doctor too. Sit down and let me look at it."
Kakashi was about to protest but she shoved him back. It took him by surprise. She gently takes off the bandage covering his eye.
"It's starting to get infected. It'll leave a scar but I can heal it. How is your eye?"
He avoids looking at her.
"It's fine. You don't have to heal it. I'll just clean it wi-"
He is shocked when she covers his eye with her hand. He can feel her chakra mending the skin and relieving the pain. Yuki smiles tiredly at him.
"There. No more fussing. But I'm really tired. Im going to take a nap."
She moved to the other end of the couch and is out as soon as her head touched the cushion.
Yuki knew she was safe. Something felt like it was missing and her heart hurt but she didn't know why. In her sleep tears flowed from her eyes. The silver haired boy sat on the floor, his arms on the couch and his head in his arms.
He whispered,"I'm so sorry Yuki. Im so sorry."
Kakashi said it over and over again until he fell asleep.
