~~~Chapter Thirty-Three~~~

"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Mako-chan calls out. The needle is destroyed.
"Bubble Spray!" Ami-chan calls out.
Fog fills the room. "Damn! What's this?!" Esmeraude curses.
All of us surround her, apart from Minako-chan who is still pinned to the wall.
"So, you guys were the main culprits behind the flu epidemic!" Rei comments.
"We'll make you pay for what you did you us!" Mako-chan says angrily.
"Everyone, what are you doing?! You need to stay in bed!" Minako-chan scolds.
"If you're worried about us, we're fine!" Usagi says happily.
"It's all thanks to your nursing, Sailor Venus." Rei praises.
"You shared your strength with us," Ami-chan adds.
"Thank you, Sailor Venus!" Mako-chan says with a smile on her face.
"Everyone…" Minako-chan trails off.
"Pharmakon, take care of the rest!" Esmeraude jumps off and disappears.
"Pharma!"
"Now, everyone! Let's get rid of this bad cold at its Point of origin." Ami-chan states.
"Okay! Burning Mandala!" Rei calls out.
"Pharma!" Rei's attack hits her.
"Now, Sailor Moon! Sailor Celestia!" Ami-chan orders.
Usagi suddenly drops to her knees. "Sailor Moon!" I call out as I run towards her.
"What's wrong?" Rei questions as she runs over with Ami-chan and Mako-chan and we all kneel next to her.
Usagi looks up with flushed cheeks. "Sorry, I think my temperature is going up again."
"Be strong!" Rei encourages.
"Yeah…" Usagi says weakly.
"Sailor Moon, don't give up. Be strong. The energetic you is the best." I comment softly.
"Yes!" Usagi agrees and she slowly stands up.
"Moon Princess Halation!" Usagi and I call out at the same time.
"Pharma!" Our attack hits and she turns to dust.
"They did it!" Mako-chan cheers.
"Sailor Moon!" Ami-chan calls out.
"A job well done!" Rei praises.
"Excuse me…" Minako-chan calls out. "Would you mind helping me now?" She asks causing the others to sweatdrop. "I can't move!"
Usagi rubs the back of her head sheepishly. "Sorry, sorry! I forgot."
"After I worked so hard! I can't believe this!" Minako-chan shouts in disbelief causing us to laugh.
With that, everyone's gradually got better. Apart from two people. Usagi and I head over to Minako-chan's house and she and Artemis now are ill and are stuck in bed. I watch Usagi cook Minako-chan some porridge as Chibi-Usa stand next to her and watches, wearing their own nurse's uniform.
Usagi pushes Minako-chan's bedroom door open. "Hi! Sorry for the wait." Usagi goes over to the bed. "Here, eat, eat! It's Usagi-chan's special porridge! Here you go." She places it on her lap.
Minako-chan looks at Usagi sweatdropping. "Thank you…" She takes a bite before she pulls a face but it disappears quickly as she looks at Usagi.
"So, so, is it good, Minako-chan?" Usagi queries with glittering eyes.
"Yes…delicious…" Minako-chan takes another bite as tears appear in the corners of her eyes and stream down her cheeks.
Usagi jumps about happily. "Yeah! Eat lots of it, okay?"
Chibi-Usa moves over. "Now, I will take your temperature."
Usagi snatches it out of her hand. "Later! This comes later! Don't butt in!"
"What's with you?!" Chibi-Usa demands as the pair gets their faces closer to each other and glared at each other. "What about it?!" They begin fighting with each other as usual.
Minako-chan lets out a sigh. "So, is this what they mean by, 'Correct your recipe by tasking other's?'"
"You got that wrong," Artemis mutters.
Minako-chan cries. Oh, please just let me sleep in peace!"
I let out a soft chuckle. I get Usagi and Chibi-Usa to stop fighting and sit in the living room. I hum softly and watch as Minako-chan slowly falls to sleep.
~~~Present~~~
~~~3rd POV~~~
Inside a kitchen, a man suddenly yells. "You thieving cat!"
Artemis pops his head up to take a look. "What?!"
Artemis jumps out of the way as a carrot is thrown towards him. He runs through a tight space. "Stop! Damn!" The man curses as he throws pots after him.
Artemis jumps onto a bin and looks behind him and lets out a sound of surprise. He jumps out of the way as pots are thrown towards him once more. He rushes across the road. "Where did he go?! Stop!" The chef stops at the road and looks about in both directions. "Where did he go, damn it?!"
Artemis doesn't stop running until he makes it to Usagi's and Selena's house and heads inside, breathing heavily. "I thought I was going to die!"
Luna is sitting next to Artemis on Usagi's bed. "Oh, Artemis, you're so stupid!"
Artemis sits up and glares at Luna. "That was uncalled for! I'm trying to find our enemy's hideout!"
Luna turns her head to look at him with blank eyes. "And yet, you only go to restaurants. Somewhere in your heart, weren't you tempted to steal some food?"
Crescent and Yue come in when they sense Artemis from inside Selena's room. "Really, Artemis?" Crescent questions with a sigh.
"Honestly," Yue comments shaking his head in disbelief.
"Get Your act together, or pretty soon you'll get 'Stupid Neko' as your nickname." Luna teases.
"That's enough." Artemis jumps off Usagi's bed.
Chibi-Usa is heading towards Usagi's room with her laundry in her arms. "Oh, Usagi! She doesn't even put away her own laundry!" She stops in front of Usagi's door. "Open the door!"
Artemis scoffs and lifts his head before walking towards the door. Just then, Chibi-Usa kicks the door opening. The door hits Artemis on the head making swirls appears in his eyes.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
I hear the noise from my room and look down at Selene and Teddy who are sitting on my bed. They are reading an English fairytale book. Selene and Teddy are wearing the new outfits that I brought them. Selene is wearing a white sweater long-sleeved top with a large black cat face on the front, a red dotted skirt and a pair of cat slippers. Teddy is wearing a white long-sleeved knitted top, blue jeans and a dark blue beanie.
I even got myself a new outfit. I am wearing a blue and light blue striped headband. A white off-the-shoulder long-sleeved top with a blue hem, a blue line across the chest and down the front, and a bow in the middle. White and blue striped long skirt with a ribbon around the waist, three buttons down the side at the bottom and a blue underlayer and fluffy blue boot slippers.
I let out a soft sigh. "Should we go see what the noise is all about?"
Selene and Teddy look up thoughtfully and nod their head. "We want to see, Mama." They both reply at the same time.
We head into Usagi's room to see Artemis lying next to the door unconscious and Usagi and Chibi-Usa looking down at him worried while Luna, Crescent and Yue watch from Usagi's bed.
Chibi-Usa is wearing her usual outfit. Usagi is wearing a white knitted turtleneck, turquoise shorts, white socks and pink slippers.
"Put him on Usagi's bed first," I ordered softly.
"Sorry, Artemis-chan." Chibi-Usa apologizes as she rubs his head after she put him on the bed. "Does this bump hurt?"
He lets out a yowl as she touches it and his head pops up. "It looks like the moon," Teddy exclaims surprised.
Usagi and Luna who was holding their breath suddenly begin laughing. "Artemis, you're so dumb!" Luna teases.
Usagi stops laughing. "Sorry about that. Don't get so mad."
Artemis jumps off the bed and walks out of the door. "Don't worry about him." Crescent comments.
"He's just irritated because he hasn't played a very active role lately." Luna states.
Usagi looks at Luna confused just as Artemis pops his head around the door. "Luna, I'm not talking to you anymore!" He runs off.
I blink my eyes surprised before looking at Usagi. "Should we go look for him?"
"Yeah." Usagi nods her head in agreement. She places on her turquoise boots and pink coat.
I put on my light blue coat and my white and blue striped flats with a blue sole and stripe across the bottom. We leave the house and stand at our gate and look around briefly to see if Artemis is in the area. Luna, Crescent and Yue are with us.
Usagi looks down at Luna. "Don't you think you were a little too harsh on him?"
Luna lowers her head. "You think so?"
"Anyway, Nee-chan and I will take on the role of the mediator, so relax and let us take care of it!" Usagi encourages with a hand on her chest and a smile on her face.
Luna looks down with blank eyes. "That's what worries me." She sweatdrops and lets out a sigh.
"Now, now, it will be fine." Crescent starts.
"Selena-chan will be helping too." Yue finishes.
Luna nods her head. "True."
~~~3rd POV~~~
~~~Minako's House~~~
Artemis headed back to Minako's house and lays on her bed with a glare on his face. Minako is sitting on her chair knitting. "What's wrong, Artemis?"
Minako is wearing an orange long-sleeved top with a blue ruffled collar, a lilac skirt, pale yellow socks and light red slippers.
"I've got pride as a man, too!" He replies annoyed.
Minako stops knitting and looks at Artemis with a sly look on her face. "Oh, I get it. you had a fight with Luna, didn't you?" He lets out a low gulp and looks at her. "Well, as they've always said 'Nothing ventured, nothing chained'."
"It's not 'nothing chained', it's 'nothing gained'." Artemis corrects sweatdropping.
A blush appears on Minako's cheeks. She closes her eyes and sweatdrops as plays with her knitting. "Well, I suppose you could say that, too." She lowers her knitting and looks at Artemis, her eyes open. "Anyway, unless you have the resolve to sacrifice yourself sometimes, you won't accomplish anything."
"Resolve…" Artemis repeats. He lowers his head and narrows his eyes. Okay! I'll go do something great! Then, even Luna will…He jumps off the bed.
"What?" Minako asks as Artemis runs by her feet. "What's wrong, Artemis?" Minako calls out but he ignores her and continues running.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
The five of us run towards Minako-chan's house. "I wonder if Artemis will be at Minako-chan's place?" Usagi questions, panting slightly.
We get to the corner and we hear a yell. I look down to see that Usagi had stepped on Artemis's head. Luna lets out a laugh. "You're so dumb!"
A glare appears on Artemis's face. "You said I was dumb again!"
Usagi closes her eyes and holds out her arms to the side. "Calm down, calm down. As your mediator, let me handle this situation!"
"Usagi, before that, look where your foot is," I comment.
"Can you take your foot off of me?" Artemis queries.
Usagi removes it. "Oh, excuse me."
Usagi's and Luna's shakes once more. They share a look before they burst out laughing again. Artemis gets up, glares at them before running off again. The pair of them stop laughing. "Huh?" Usagi looks around. "He's gone." She looks down at Luna with her hands on her hips. "Luna, it's your fault!"
Luna looks back at her. "What are you saying?! It's your fault, Usagi!"
~~~3rd POV~~~
Inside an alleyway, a box shakes before the lid comes off to show a group of kittens meowing from inside. Artemis, who was going by the same alleyway, sees them. He goes over to them and leans closer to them.
He backs away when he hears a honk from a vehicle. He watches from behind a pole as the car stops, an older man gets out and picks up the box with the kittens before getting back into the car and driving off.
"I wonder where he's taking them?" Artemis ponders as he watches the car drive off. He narrows his eyes. "This is my chance to do something great!" He runs off in the same direction the car drove off in.
In another alleyway, a dog is whining as he goes through the trash in a fallen bin. A man holds out his hand with treats on it. "Come on, come over here." The dog eats the treats from the man's palm. The man pats the dog's head. "Okay, good dog, good dog." He praises.
Artemis watches from underneath the car. "He's going to kidnap that dog, too."
The man opens the car to his door. "Okay, get right in." The dog gets inside and the man gets in after him, shuts the car door and drives off.
Elsewhere, Esmeraude is wandering about with her earrings dangling in front of her. It begins to glow and move about causing her to come to a stop. She lifts the earrings and the reaction gets stronger. It is pointing to the 'Great Animal Kingdom'.
"It seems the next Negative Point is over there." She comments as people walk by her and let out low laughs. Esmeraude puts her earring back on and places a hand on her head. "Being beautiful is also a sin."
She lowers her head and her eyes widen. She looks to see a little dog peeing on her boot. "I am not a utility pole!" She yells as the people around her laugh. The dog backs and runs through the gates. "Hey, stop!" She runs after the dog. "Hey!"
Ami and Makoto are walking past at the same time. Ami is wearing her usual pink cardigan, white shirt with a blue bow, yellow long skirt, white socks and brown shoes. Makoto is also wearing her usual outfit. An orange turtleneck with a yellow long-sleeved top, green trousers and brown shoes.
They stop when a car honks and drives through the same watches the car drive by before looking at Ami. "Ami-chan, wasn't that Artemis?"
Ami looks back at her textbook. "I don't know. I was just trying to memorize my hundredth English vocabulary word." Ami looks up at the sky. "Do you think a hundred words a day is too few?"
Makoto places a hand on the side of her head as she sweatdrops. "I think that's probably just around right…"
~~~Inside Great Animal Kingdom~~~
Artemis looks around with wide eyes as he sees different animals wandering about freely. There are birds, squirrels, cats and dogs. What is this place?
Inside one of the rooms, there are cages with dogs, rabbits and cats inside. The same man from before has placed the box with the kittens on the floor and the dog is lying next to it. the man looks at the woman next to him. "Well, please take care of their medical examinations.
"Okay." The woman agrees. She kneels and picks up one of the kittens. "You guys, you're lucky to be picked up by such a nice man."
Esmeraude suddenly appears. She holds out her hand and releases energy towards the pair of them. They let out shouts before falling unconscious on the ground. Esmeraude stops the energy and laughs. She gets her earring and watches as it glows and moves about. "So, this is the Negative Point. Dark Henge!" Her henge appears. "Come forth, Droid Dogba!"
A shadow forms before she appears. "Dogba!" She has red skin, lilac hair pulled up into a bun and green eyes. she has a lilac choker around the neck and purple beads across her forehead with a purple gem in the centre. She is wearing a black strapless suit with pink ruffles down the sides at the top and bottom and a purple belt around the waist. She has a large gold cuff on her thigh and smaller ones around her wrists and black boots.
She glows before her appearance changes to appear human. Dark Power is released from her and it affects the animals as their eyes glow red. The dog lifts its head and turns it to look at them. Dogba clicks her fingers. The dog walks forward on his front paws, his back legs in the air. Same with the kittens.
"Oh, my! Bravo!" Esmeraude praises before laughing loudly.
The dog and kittens suddenly fall and land on the ground.
"Esmeraude-sama, your voice is a little too loud, Dogba."
Esmeraude blushes and places her fan in front of her face.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
We couldn't find Artemis in the end so we headed back to our house and sat in Usagi's bedroom. Eventually, we get an idea of where he is after Ami-chan, Mako-chan, Rei (wearing a purple long-sleeved jumper and red trousers) and Minako-chan pop round to visit.
"What?! Artemis went to the Great Animal Kingdom?" Luna exclaims surprised.
"I wonder why he went there?" Usagi queries.
"What kind of place is the Great Animal Kingdom?" Crescent questions.
"Hmm, it takes in any stray animal, right Mako-chan?" I comment.
Mako-chan nods her head. "I hear it's a place that takes in unfortunate animals and looks after them."
"People who want pets can also adopt those animals," Ami-chan adds.
Usagi crosses her arms across her chest and looks up. "This is clearly a case of running away from home."
"Runaway?!" Ami, Minako-chan, Rei and Mako-chan exclaims surprised.
"That's right!" Usagi closes her eyes and holds out her arms to the sides. "Artemis is always getting picked on by Luna; so he got sick and tired of it and ran away to the Great Animal Kingdom!"
Luna sits down. "That's ridiculous."
Usagi leans closer to Luna. "The only one who can get Artemis to come back…" Usagi trails off briefly before pointing a finger at Luna. "Frankly, it's you, Luna!"
"No way, I don't want to do that!" Luna denies before she looks away. "Besides, you're blowing this way out of proportion!"
Usagi lowers her finger. "I wonder if you can afford to say something like that? If you regret it later, it'll be too late."
"Luna, the things you say can be pretty harsh, so Artemis feelings are likely to be hurt considerably." Rei points out.
"You did keep on calling him stupid," I add with a sigh.
"At the Great Animal Kingdom, there are alligators, big snakes and even tigers. By now, Artemis just might be…" Minako-chan trails off before she slowly turns around, her face pale and hands held out in front of her. '"I'll haunt you forever'."
"Okay, I'll go. I'll go. Happy now?" Luna agrees with a sigh.
Usagi's door is pushed open and Chibi-Usa is standing there with a backpack on. "Oh, you guys are going to the zoo, aren't you? I wanna go, too!"
The girls look at Chibi-Usa sweatdropping while I let out a soft chuckle. Usagi is the first to snap out of it. "Look, Chibi-Usa, we're not going there to have fun."
"No fair! No fair! Nee-sama, Usagi's being mean to me!" Chibi-Usa complains with a blush on her cheeks and her mouth set in a pout.
I let out a soft chuckle as Usagi sweatdrops and places her hands on Chibi-Usa's shoulders. "Chibi-Usa, let's go together!"
I see Selene and Teddy peeking around the corner of the door. "Selene and Teddy too," I add with a soft chuckle.
"I think we should let Luna, Crescent and Yue handle this." Mako-chan acknowledges.
"Good idea." Minako-chan agrees before she does the same actions as before. "Luna, bring Artemis back before he becomes like this, okay?"
Luna sweatdrops while Crescent and Yue let out a soft chuckle.
~~~3rd POV~~~
~~~At the Great Animal Kingdom~~~
Artemis pops out of the bushes and runs to the large tree. He looks and watches as the large dog and the group of kittens that he followed there, walk by. "I'm glad. They're safe. I guess I'll go home."
He goes to turn away when he hears the crows letting out a surprised sound. He looks to see the group of kittens walking on the back legs, standing up. "Huh? That's impossible!"
The kittens are now, still standing on their back legs, but now on the back of the dog. "Papa, aren't they great?" A little boy questions.
Dogba in her human disguise is standing behind another group of cats, dogs and rabbits. She holds her arms up in the air. "Now, I will show you a performance put on by these animals, Dogba!" She clicks her fingers.
The dogs form a human pyramid, with the same dog with the kittens on his back at the top. The crowd claps. The little boy points up at the kittens. "I want that kitten on the top!"
The animal's eyes all glow red before they lunge forward and attack the crowd. The crowd manages to get away from the animals and they rush away as fast as they could, leaving a cloud of dust behind, though the animals are chasing after them.
Artemis is also being chased by the same dog from earlier. "I knew it, they're not normal!" Artemis runs on ahead. He skids to a stop and jumps over a knocked over bin.
"Over here!" Luna calls out.
Artemis turns to see Luna, Crescent and Yue inside the same knocked over bin. "Why are you here?"
"What are you doing?" Luna scolds.
"Hurry up!" Crescent orders.
The four of them watch as the dog jumps over the knocked over bin and continues running, not noticing that they are inside. Artemis lets out a sigh. "You saved me…" He turns his head to look at Luna. "Why did you come here?"
"I came here to take you…" Luna trails off.
"Take me?" Artemis queries.
Luna closes her eyes and looks away. "It's nothing. I just happened to be here."
"What are you doing here, Artemis?" Yue queries.
"Oh, nothing." Artemis denies.
"Did you do something stupid again?" Luna questions.
Artemis walks out from the bin before stopping. "Anyway, you should hurry up and go home." Artemis begins to walk off. It's possible that the enemy is involved in this. I'll take this chance to do something great and…He stops and looks behind him to see that Luna, Crescent and Yue are following him. "Don't follow me!"
"Why are you talking to me like that?" Luna demands.
"We came here because we were worried about you." Crescent states.
"Mostly Luna," Yue mutters lowly.
Artemis looks at them with wide eyes.
"I'm going home," Luna says as she turns around. Crescent and Yue share a look before following after her.
"So, Luna came here for me." Artemis goes to follow Luna, Crescent and Yue before he comes to a stop. Shoot! What am I doing? "Luna, Crescent, Yue, I'll see you again if I'm still alive!" He calls out before he turns and jumps in the air.
Luna turns her head to look back. "Artemis!"
Artemis lands on a metal tin and trips and lands on his stomach. "Ouch!"
Luna sweatdrops. "Dummy."
The crowd from earlier rushes over to a payphone. "Call the police! Hurry!"
They all crowd around the phone, shouting. The animals are surrounding them. A squirrel climbs up the pole and chews the wire so the phone doesn't work anymore. Dogba appears behind the animals and walks by them and towards the crowd.
"Help!"
"Please do something!"
She glows and turns back to her true appearance. "Dogba!"
"What the?!" The crowd exclaims surprised.
She lifts her whip. It circles in the air letting out energy. She brings it down in front of her. It was heading towards the little boy but his papa moves him out of the way and whip ends up around the papa's throat. He lets out a shout as he is electrified.
Esmeraude laughs loudly from inside as she watches her henge release Dark Power and slowly grow. "The Dark Henge is growing magnificently." She laughs loudly once more.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
~~~Outside Great Animal Kingdom~~~
Usagi, Minako-chan and I end up going in the end. We peek from the side of the gate. "I'm a little worried leaving it all up to Luna," Usagi admits.
"I know, she can be so troublesome." Minako-chan agrees.
We hear screaming before a group of people run out of the gates. "What's going on?!" Usagi questions confused.
The three of us share a look before looking inside the gates with narrowed eyes. "Something must have happened inside!" Usagi acknowledges.
"Minako-chan, Usagi, let's transform," I order softly.
"Okay." Usagi and Minako-chan nod their head.
"Moon Crystal Power Makeup!" Usagi and I call out at the same time.
"Venus Star Power Makeup!" Minako-chan calls out.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Dogba had used her whip to make a portion of the crowd unconscious on the ground. Artemis pokes his head through the bushes. Damn it! I won't let her get away with this right before my eyes! but, I sure am lucky to run into the enemy by chance. I'll beat her, no matter what it takes!
He jumps out of the bushes and rushes towards Dogba. The kitten's ears twitch and they turn to see him, their eyes glowing purple before flashing red. Artemis runs under the fence before jumping into the air with a yell. He is hit by the four kittens while in the air which makes him fall to the ground. He tries to push himself back up but falls again.
The kittens land back on the ground to the side of him. Artemis turns his head to look at them. "No! You guys, snap out of it…" Artemis tries to push himself back up once more.
Boots appear next to Artemis and he looks up to see Dogba standing there. She brings down her whip towards him. "Dogba!"
Artemis rolls out of the way and ends up near the dogs. One of the dogs kicks him back with its paw. He lands on his stomach in front of Dogba and the rest of the animal's circles the pair of them.
Artemis pushes himself back up and slowly stands. His eyes widen as he looks both sides of him to see that he is surrounded. He looks back at Dogba. Shoot! He slowly walks forward as he struggles to stay standing. A rope is thrown towards him and it wrapped around his back leg and he is pulled back. It was the white monkey that is sitting on the back of a large dog.
"Dogba!" She lifts her whip and sends it towards Artemis once more. Artemis clenches his eyes shut. Luna suddenly appears and knocks the monkey off the dog's back while Crescent and Yue grab hold of Artemis and pull him out of the way so the whip missed him.
"Luna! Crescent! Yue!" Artemis calls out surprised.
"Please stop this!" Luna pleads. "You can't win against this kind of enemy all by yourself!"
Artemis shakes his head and looks away. "No! I'm going to do something great to show you that I'm not stupid!"
"Please stop it already!" Luna pleads again, her eyes shimmering before tears appear in her eyes.
"Luna…" Artemis trails off as he looks at Luna surprised.
"Dogba!" She lifts her whip and brings it down towards them once more. They dodge out of the way. Artemis ended up going one way while Luna, Crescent and Yue went the other. Luna is kicked back by one of the dog's paws while Crescent and Yue dodge out of the way before the stand in front and behind Luna, protecting her.
"Luna!" Artemis calls out before he turns back towards Dogba.
"Don't, Artemis!" Luna pleads.
"Dogba!" She lifts her whip in the air and brings it down again.
"Venus Love-Me Chain!" Minako calls out.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
Minako-chan's attack hits the whip and it causes an explosion and a cloud of smoke appears. I jump forward using the smoke as a diversion and grab hold of Luna and Artemis. I rush back to the bushes with Crescent and Yue following. I place Luna and Artemis down and the four cats disappear in the bushes.
"How dare you turn the innocent hearts of animals to evil?" Usagi starts.
"Even if God and Buddha may forgive you…" Minako-chan trails off.
"We will not!" We call out at the same time.
"For Love and Justice, the pretty sailor suited senshi, Sailor Moon! / Sailor Celestia!" Usagi and I call out.
"Likewise, Sailor Venus!" Minako-chan calls out.
"In the name of the moon, we'll punish you!" Usagi and I finish.
Dogba lifts one of her arms in the air. "Dogba!"
"What?!" Usagi and Minako-chan exclaim.
I narrow my eyes. "It seems she can control the animals. And she just sent all of them after us."
A dog goes to lunge at Usagi but I pull her away. A cat does the same to Minako-chan and I reach forward and pull her out the way. "What should we do?" The pair of them query panicked.
"The only way to stop the animals is to stop Dogba's control." I point out.
"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Mako-chan calls out.
"Burning Mandala!" Rei calls out.
The attacks join and cause a large column of energy. The animals all back away until they are backed against the large tree, the dogs whining.
"Shine Aqua Illusion!" Ami-chan calls out.
Ice forms around the tree to create an ice wall, keeping the animals trapped inside. Ami-chan holds up a finger with a smile on her face. "Please stay quiet for a while."
Usagi grabs Ami-chan's hands and jumps up and down. "You did it! You did it! You did it! You did it! You did it! You did it! Yeah!" She cheers. She stops jumping up and down and pats Ami-chan's shoulder. "You're the best, Sailor Mercury! You saved us!"
"Hey, Sailor Moon! you still have something to do!" Rei scolds.
Usagi turns away with a smile on her face, eyes closed and holding out a finger. "Don't worry. It'll be a piece of cake!"
Dogba lets out a yell and flings out her hand. "Dogba! She releases energy rings. I sense them and dodge out of the way but Usagi and the others don't. The rings go around their neck and form a collar. "Dogba!" She pulls the chains and the girls fall forwards and land on the ground.
Rei lifts her head. "We let out guard down. Apart from Sailor Celestia that is."
"Unless we do something, she'll get all six of us," Mako-chan comments as she looks up.
I hear the bushes rustle and look to see Artemis jump from them. "Artemis!" Luna, Crescent and Yue call out.
Artemis rushes towards Dogba and scratches her face. "Meow!"
"Moon Slash!" I release my attack and cut the chain and slowly the collar around the girl's neck disappears.
Dogba grabs hold of Artemis and throws him to the ground.
"Usagi, get up," I order softly.
"Okay!" Usagi agrees.
"Moon Princess Halation!" We both call out at the same time.
"Dogba!" Our attacks hit her and she turns to dust.
We surround the animals around the tree. I sense someone presence and see Esmeraude around the corner and watch a dog pee on her boot. Esmeraude disappears scaring the dog causing it to run off.
Minako-chan has a green bird on her head and a red bird on her shoulder while she stroke the black kitten in Usagi's arms. Usagi also has the green kitten on her shoulder and the two white kittens in her arms along with the black one. "They're adorable!"
"I can't believe these kittens attacked us just a while ago." Minako-chan comments.
Ami-chan, Rei and Mako-chan are surrounding one of the dogs. Ami-chan is stroking its head. "You look like a teacher at my cram school." She lets out a giggle.
"He also looks like my oji-chan," Rei adds.
"He's also like the oji-chan of my senior at school who broke my heart." Mako-chan states. Rei looks at her sweatdrops with blank eyes.
I let out a soft chuckle as I stroke the orange cat napping in my lap. I look to the left to see Artemis and Luna sitting on one wooden bench with Crescent and Yue curled up together on the one next to theirs.
"Oh, Artemis, you're so dumb." Luna teases. "But this time, you did pretty well."
"Once I catch them in my dragnet, the enemy's tactics are like child play." Artemis boasts.
Luna looks at him with knowing eyes. "I got the feeling you might have caught her by accident."
Artemis sweatdrops and doesn't say anything.
Just then, Chibi-Usa comes running through the gates. "Why did you leave me behind?! Sheesh!" She was swinging her bag and she lets it go and it flies in the air and lands on Artemis. Artemis lets out a yell and lands on the ground, face first.
"You're so dumb!" They call say at the same time. I let out a soft chuckle as Selene and Teddy sit next to me and stroke the sleeping cat in my lap. Relaxing days like these are important memories, even the stupid ones.
