Fireworks (Every Time We Kiss)
Cisco isn't about to admit it, but he nearly fell asleep in the shower. Seated on the shower seat while the hot water massaged away his aches from fighting a meta as Vibe and Harry's fingers massaged his scalp - sudsing up Cisco's hair before gently washing the shampoo and conditioner away - was just too hypnotic and peaceful.
Any other evening, Cisco would be bundled up in bed, asleep already. Curled up in Harry's arms and dreaming peaceful dreams. Or horny ones. Cisco likes those too; makes for fun mornings... if also mornings where they're late getting to work.
But tonight is New Year's eve. And their first New Years eve in their home together. They are going to stay up until midnight, toast end of the old year and the start of the new with bubbly LGBT+ themed champagne that Cisco'd bought during pride month, and enthusiastically kiss like it was their first time all over again. Cisco is absolutely determined that's how this night is going to go.
He just... has to keep his eyes open first.
"You're not going to fall asleep before midnight, are you?" Harry asked, half teasing. "I'm supposed to be the old man around here, remember?"
"Yeah, that's why I'm cutting you off the caffeine for the night." Cisco yawned and snuggled against Harry's shoulder. "I don't even want to know how many cups you've had today. Let's make cutting back your New Years resolution."
"Blasphemy." As if to accent his point, Harry reached for his current cup of coffee.
Cisco snatched it before Harry could, showing off quick reflexes despite how sleepy he was. And, despite it not being quite as hazelnut flavored or sweet as Cisco preferred, he drank down the entire half cup. Because at this point, he needed the caffeine more than Harry did if they were both going to be awake to watch the ball drop on tv.
"Hey!" Harry tried to act offended, but Cisco could see the way his eyes had dilated, just a bit. The way the other man's gaze had dropped to Cisco's neck, no doubt admiring the line of it when Cisco's head had tilted back to drink down every last drop of coffee in that cup. Those were hungry eyes of someone who clearly was more interested in nibbling Cisco's neck than in avenging stolen coffee.
"At least I didn't slurp," Cisco teased with a smirk.
"That's it," Harry grumbled, snatching the coffee mug and placing it aside, before tackling Cisco back down against the couch and pressing their lips together.
Cisco squirmed underneath Harry, getting comfortable and enjoying the press of Harry's body against his own. The whole world falling away under the insistent warmth of Harry's kiss and the sparks of pleasure going off in his brain from Harry's every touch.
It takes them a while to break the kiss and come up for air.
"I think we missed the ball drop," Harry muttered, nipping little kisses absently along Cisco's jawline.
"That's okay," Cisco replied. "Pretty sure I saw fireworks anyway."
"Oh, really?" Harry pulled back, expression mischievous as his eyes gazed further down along Cisco's body. "Want to see a few more?"
Unable to help himself, Cisco giggled at the cheesy line. "Absolutely."
