Warning English is not my first language but I tried my best. I worked on this instead of sleeping so. This is not a planned-out story so I don't know maybe I could add things if I see a cool idea.

Chapter 1: The Start

He did not agree with the majority of actions his father took but he went along with them anyways. It was not to be an obedient son, nor to gain favor in his father's eyes, much less to meet his expectations. Everything he did was to gain peace. Sometimes he questioned the lengths he would go for peace. Was the end goal really worth it? Would an outcome of peace justify a trek of hardship and sorrow? Would peace justify chaos? He had not come to a conclusion but he was aware that he did not have the commodity of time on his side. So he nodded and did what he was told.

"I was ecstatic when I heard I was being considered to be your bride, and now it is truly a dream come true to be given the opportunity to join your great family and rid myself of my traitorous name". The woman did not meet his eyes when she spoke, her eyes were fixated on the floor, her voice was soft and he couldn't detect anger or hatred in her voice. He examined the woman in front of him, although he couldn't see her eyes, her face had a small smile that was almost shy. She seemed to be genuine but he knew she was lying who wouldn't be.

"Please do not be harsh on your own family. The Hyuga family was a rich, powerful and old family that grew up with this country. The stories they must have, if it isn't a bother I would appreciate it if you were to tell me some". It was a mystery to him how his father had gotten the eldest daughter of Hiashi Hyuga under his control. As far as he knew she was supposed to be in the Hyuga residence along with her father, cousin, and sister. He had theories about it, the most logical one being that Hiashi had tried to get his daughters to safety and while he was moving her out of the country Hinata was captured by his father's men.

"Do not indulge in the pitying of this woman. Be truthful, do not spare her feelings and dirty the truth. She is nothing but a traitor's daughter, she is the offspring of an outlaw, a criminal, a man without honor. Marrying you is something she is not worthy of, making her the court's harlot would have been an honor for her". He heard his brother's icy voice before she had a chance to answer. Sometimes he wondered where he went wrong, what did he do? When did his sweet little brother become so ruthless and bitter?

"That is correct. It is way more than I deserve and I will forever be thankful. Please do not excuse a traitor" Her voice was barely audible and her eyes were still glued to the floor.

"I would appreciate it if you did not speak about my future wife using those words. She is not to be disrespected or talked about in a malicious manner, whoever does will answer to me. That includes you, little brother. If you do want to respect her because she is the daughter of a powerful man that is fine with me but you are to respect her because she is to be my wife. Understood?" He didn't turn to look at Sasuke he could picture his face already, his insulted expression with intense dark eyes, wrinkled nose, and pursed lips.

"You are too soft you-" Sasuke was clearly trying to hide how upset he was that Itachi would defend a worthless traitorous woman over his own blood.

"Is it understood?" His voice was no longer welcoming

"Yes". His brother murmured an answer before leaving him and his future wife who still did not look at him.

"Can I ask something of you?" His voice returned to his usual tone

"Anything. I am to be your wife, I will do anything I can-"

"Can you look at me?". The girl hesitantly looked up and finally, he was able to see her face. He examined her expression, it was blank. She appeared neither content nor annoyed with her current situation, her expression was not completely deprived of emotion as it was unusually welcoming and serene. It intrigued him how she was able to achieve this expression that shielded her true feelings but did not appear cold or threatening, he wondered how she managed to learn it. After examining her expression and getting nothing from it he looked at her, she possessed a beauty he was not accustomed to. She was exotic in a way, her light eyes, blue hair, and white skin were a combination he had not seen before. "How are you?" He asked hoping her answer would give him more than her expression.

"I am very happy. It is truly my honor to be here, far away from traitors" She gave him a sweet smile that looked too real. If he didn't know any better he would have allowed himself to consider the possibility that she wasn't just acting.

"Those traitors are your family" he pointed out

"And I that beg you will see past that and not make their sins my own" Itachi watched her face carefully but, he watched as those words came out her mouth, he looked for the tiniest hint, any sign that she disagreed with what was coming out of her mouth but there was nothing. He was impressed if anything, not too many people could completely put up an act as convincing as she did.

"That's not what I meant." he grinned.

"I apologize. I am afraid I am not following you" Her brows furrowed and her lips parted slightly. She was pretty and a good actress, at least their interactions wouldn't be boring.

"You call them traitors but they are your family. The people you grew up with who showed you love. I doubt they are traitors to you and there is nothing wrong with that"

"You are wrong. The moment they betrayed the crown was the moment they stopped being my family. I am only loyal to the crown"

"My you are a good liar" he whispered just loud enough for her to hear

"I am not lying"

"I hope you are" he smirked

"I am loyal to you" she stated

"What if I asked you to break the law?" He asked

"I don't think you would" she replied

"What if I betrayed the crown?" He asked another question

"I don't think you would" she repeated her reply

"You are very pretty"

"I am honored you think I am pretty," She said with a smile

"Are you?" He raised an eyebrow

"I wouldn't lie" she responded with a playful smile.

"That would be boring," he said

"Would you like to dance?" He was a bit startled with her request, he was not expecting that from her but he smiled at her.

"It would be my pleasure". He danced with her, his hand on her black and her hand on his shoulder. After then they talked some more and he didn't know when but he stopped examining her and just talked to her. It would be a lie to say he didn't enjoy it. It was a good moment of mindless fun that came to end.

Her future husband was so far kind to her, he did not degrade or throw insults at her, which she appreciated. However, he was still an Uchiha and that would not be forgotten. She was still a prisoner, taken against her will and made a mockery out of. She was still mistreated by most even the servants threw her dirty looks, the fucking servants! She was the Hyuga heiress yet she was treated like dirt. Told it would be an honor to be a harlot, how dare they! She should not be here yet she was, but not for long. She would make sure of that. She wasn't sure how but she knew she had to play along to be that sweet, innocent scared girl they thought she was. Oddly enough her future husband didn't seem to be completely fooled but it was just a matter of time, and it was just one of them it didn't matter that much she would find a way. The rest probably thought of her like a rag doll they could just throw around but little did they know she was far from that. This was war and she was in the enemy's territory. The more she thought the more she realized this could be her chance to infiltrate the Uchihas and take them down from the inside, this could be her chance. She smiled at the idea of their little pawn turning against them and backstabbing them, although would it be considered backstabbing if she was never on their side. It didn't matter, they thought she was and that's all that mattered. Nothing else mattered at the moment, all she could think of were three things. Get information, get out of here, stay alive.

"You defended that bitch at my expense" his voice was bitter and his face was plagued with disgust

"It has been almost two weeks since that party I would have thought you would have let it go by now"

"You chose her over me. Tell me have you slept with her? Is that why you are so fucking nice to her. Do you constantly see her? Has the hunger for a woman really fucked your senses that much"

"I did not know you would take it so personal little brother-"

"Do not patronize me!"

"I am failing to see how you could conclude such a thing"

"Do not use my age as a way to minimize me"

"I was not doing that Sasuke. You are a bit tense. I did not choose her over you I simply told you not to insult my future wife. I did not treat her any better than you. I simply treated her like a human being, something you have forgotten to do. What happened to you Sasuke? You used to be so kind. Lastly, I have not been in contact with her that party was the only contact I had with the woman"

"You are an idiot Itachi. I saw you. The way you danced and laughed with her"

"Brother tell me. What is on your mind?"

"Has she seduced you, brother? Have you fallen for her!?"

"You still are nothing but a child"

"I'm the same age as your bride!"

"I am not in love with her Sasuke. What nonsense goes in your mind" he chuckled "I admit she's pretty and she's not a bore but she is hardly in my thoughts much less my heart. Sasuke love is a strong emotion that I take very seriously and trust me when I tell you it takes more than having a pretty face and nice breast to conjure up that emotion. We are not acquainted with each other, and even if we were I doubt such emotions would bloom from a forced marriage when both families hate each other"

"Masters I apologize for interrupting but Naruto Uzumaki is here and asks to speak with Sasuke." a servant informed both men

"Bring him here," Sasuke told the servant.

"Do you know what Naruto wants?" Itachi asked with a mischievous grin

"I have an idea" he mumbled

"Sasuke! Itachi!" Naruto came in with his usual smile "long time no see"

"What is it you want Naruto?" Sasuke asked with a straight face

"A bit moody today huh?" he grinned while Sasuke kept his straight face "first to apologize for not being able to attend the party and second to know what the fuck is going on"

"What do you mean?" Sasuke raised his brow pretending not to know what he was talking about

"Hinata is engaged to Itachi. How the fuck did that happen?" he cocked his head

"Naruto when your family chose the correct side to stand on it automatically cut their ties with the Hyugas did you really think your engagement with her would still stand" Sasuke explained

"I'm not talking about that! How did she end up here?"

"I am aware you two have known each other since you were children. Tell me Naruto would let your feelings for her break your word, your loyalty? I've known you longer than anyone. Will you let her be the reason for your betrayal of a friend" Sasuke has stood up and was standing in front of a confused Naruto.

"Calm down brother. Naruto is a loyal man and we know that. I'm sure he just wants to see if his friend is well. Why don't we have a servant take him to see her"

"Itachi" Sasuke didn't oppose but from his tone of voice, it was clear his brother did not want that.

"Naruto. Martha will show you to Hinata's room" Itachi smiled

"Thank you Itachi," Naruto said smiling before he followed the maid

"Itachi she is to be your wife! Do you think it is proper to let her and another man be in her room alone?" Sasuke hissed

"He's our friend and ally" he stated

"He was engaged to her" Sasuke retorted

She opened the door wondering who it could be, she didn't get visitors often, apart from the servants that brought her food, clothes, and other things. They had a schedule however and it wasn't their time yet. When she opened the door she felt her heart stop when she looked up to see a pair of blue eyes looking down at her, a nervous smile accompanying them.

"Hinata"

"Naruto please come in," she said, moving away from the door allowing him to enter. She hadn't seen Naruto in months and the last place she expected to see him was here, she thought there was a possibility he would be at the party but he wasn't and she was relieved in a way. Now he stood in front of her in her room, they were alone and an awkward silence settled in.

"I'm sorry Hinata. I truly am"

"It's not your fault. It's a war people chose sides, that's what happens"

"When I heard you were with the Uchihas I got scared, thinking of all the things they could have done with you"

"Maybe they did"

"Did they!?" Naruto eyes widen and worry and anger were clearly present in his voice

"No," she said flatly before flashing a smile

"Don't scare me like that!" He chuckled as he sat down next to her. He grabbed her hand and began tracing patterns on her palm. She rested her head on the side of his shoulder and sighed. She had missed him, his company was always welcomed. He always made her smile and laugh, she remembered how they would play when they were children, how they would wrestle and get their clothes dirty. How she would get scolded for not acting like a lady, how she would get sent to her room but Naruto would always help her escape usually by helping her climb out of a window or distracting the guards that were put to watch her. Of course that only meant a bigger punishment after but she didn't care. When they first got engaged she was happy, she knew marriage was rarely done out of love so she was happy to have gotten stuck with someone she could tolerate. Were they in love? She didn't think so. They had a great friendship and had even lost their virginity to each other and have sex a couple times after that but she never felt any sort of romantic love, granted she didn't even know how that was supposed to feel due to her never really being in love with anyone before.

"You know I've missed you," she said. Her soft sweet voice was music to his ears. It relaxed him.

"Me too"

"I don't suppose you want to help me climb out of the window so I can escape"

"Maybe I could distract the guards at the gates"

He laughed

"That would be great, you would be my hero," she giggled. He had missed her too much and although it was against his better judgment he captured her lips with his and she moaned in response.

"I've missed you," he said in between kisses

"Was it me who you've missed? Or what we do?"

"Both" he admitted. Did he love her? He didn't know. All he knew was that she was his friend and she made him feel good. He grabbed her waist and placed her on his lap; he then began to kiss her neck. He breathed in her delicious scent he had missed so much. Her hands ran through his golden locks and tugged his hair, he liked it and it sent tingles down his spine.

"Naruto. We should stop we can't do it here"

"Why not? we just need to be quiet, it won't take long"

"Naruto! What if someone decided to open the door and was greeted by you thrusting into me while I moan! What do you think will happen to me?"

"You know what you described there does not sound so bad"

"Naruto you are a guest here, an ally. I'm a glorified prisoner who is seen as a traitor" she said getting off his lap

"I know I apologize for being an ass. But about that. How did you end up here anyway?"

"Well I-" the door was opened without warning and there stood Sasuke Uchiha. Hinata instantly looked down and scooted away from Naruto

"You have been here a while mind if I stay here with you guys"

"Sure no problem Hinata was just catching me up about the party," Naruto said in his regular cheerful tone, he moved closer to her and ruffled her hair like she was a child.

"Hn. You could have just asked me about the party. Anyways I'm interested to hear your experience so go on keep telling"

"Well, she was about to finish-"

"I'm sure it wouldn't be a bother for her to start over"

"It is no bother at all. The party was beautiful, the food there was wonderful, the cooks here really do have a talent. If I had to pick I would say I liked the dessert the best, I got to try some new dishes that were delicious. The decoration was also breathtaking it was all so pretty I've never seen such wonderful shades of fabrics and-"

"I never took you for someone who liked woman talk" Sasuke interrupted Hinata and shot a glare at Naruto

"Now, Sasuke, that was not nice, you interrupted her before she could get to what color the napkins were," he said with a grin. Hinata bit back laughter and Naruto smiled at her. Sasuke watched the interactions between the idiot and the bitch. He seemed to enjoy her but he wondered why? What was so great about her? He did not see it. After some awkward interactions between the three of them, Sasuke and Naruto finally left her room. Naruto surprised Hinata by giving her a hug in front of Sasuke before they left. He buried his nose on her neck and sucked on a spot, she tried not to jump back at his sudden gesture and when he pulled away she saw the grin on his face and she tried her best to contain her posture and not blush.

"You're being a cunt Sasuke," Naruto said flatly

"What the fuck are talking about?" He asked

"The way you treat Hinata" Naruto stated

"She is a traitor's daughter"

"She's a human being. Sasuke you shouldn't take out your frustrations on her"

"The way you look at her. Did you two fuck before you could get married"

"Of course we didn't. Why would you be jealous?" Naruto teased

"Shut the fuck up idiot"

"Oh right if I remember correctly you were recently betrothed to the daughter of a nobleman. What was her name?"

"Sakura Haruno" he answered

"Ah yes I heard she's a beauty. I guess I'll be visiting more often after you are married"

"So you can fuck Hinata? You know if the baby comes out with blue eyes or blond hair it would be hard to explain"

"What has you in this bitchy mood, Sasuke? You're engaged you should be happy"

"You're right I just got engaged and you just got broken off an engagement to that pair of tits who never raises her head"

"You know Sasuke I was only joking when I asked you if you were jealous of her but now I'm beginning to wonder"

"I'm not jealous of a traitor's daughter"

"Then why is that the only thing you seem to talk about"

"Why do you like her!?" He hissed. At that moment Naruto realized. It was something deeper than jealousy or dislike for Hinata.

"I hope you're not blaming her for what I think you are Sasuke. She had nothing to do with it. And I hope I pray to the gods you don't harm her because of your feelings"

"You should leave Naruto"

"Sasuke if you need to-"

"Leave". He hated her with a passion. He hated everything about her. He hated her voice, her stupid hair, her submissiveness, but most importantly he hated her family. He watched as his brother had smiled and laughed with her, how she looked at him with doe eyes. He then watched how Naruto continuously touched her and looked for any excuse to get closer to her. He had never heard much about her from Naruto mainly because as much as an idiot as he was aware of the history between their family. He could not see what people saw in her, she was a meek boring girl, he hated that. She seemed to agree with everything and had a gentle smile on her lips. Why would she smile, why would she agree with them? Had she no honor? Was she naive enough to actually want to marry his brother? He decided to go to his room and rest, he was tired of dealing with people.

She did not usually go out of her room, however, in the last couple of days she talked more with some of the servants and had conjured a friendship with one of the cooks. She was a bit older than her and was named Kurenai. She was very nice to Hinata and had even offered her a lotion she made from roses. Hinata had thanked her and even told her she would go pick it up so Kurenai wouldn't have to leave the kitchen. On her way back she, unfortunately, bumped into Sasuke. Some of the lotion she had got on his shirt and from his face, she knew she was in for one of his rants.

"I-I'm so so sorry! S-sorry I apologize" Distress filled her eyes and truly only a small part of her was worried. Sasuke was a weird person, she had noted that he hated her for some unknown reason, he disliked everything about her and she couldn't really find a way to act that would get him to like or at least tolerate.

"You're so fucking useless! Fuck! You see what you've done!" He hissed. He grabbed her wrist making her drop the remainder of the lotion and dragged her closer to him, something that was very easy because of Hinata's small frame. "Why the fuck don't you ever look up! Tell me what's so interesting about the floor?!" She hated him. She hated him with a passion, she sometimes daydreamed about stabbing him over and over again. She wondered how he was friends with Naruto, how Naruto could tolerate such an ass, how this vulgar man was the same friend Naruto would talk wonders about. She looked up and pretended to be scared, her eyesight began to get blurry with the tear that began to form.

"I'm sorry I will look up" she whispered lip quivering

"You've got to be kidding, are you going to cry." He let go of her with a push which made her lose her balance and fell on the floor. Sasuke looked down at the woman. She looked innocent sure but she was a fucking Hyuga, she was scum, the lowest of the fucking low. He looked at her and he sneered, he watched as she got up and straightened herself out. He wasn't sure what drove him, all he knew was that he was angry. He was angry she was let in his house, he was angry she was marrying his brother, he was angry she was alive, he was angry that there was a possibility she could be happy. She didn't deserve to be happy. Not when he wasn't. He pinned her against the wall and pressed his lips against hers. His hands roamed her body as she tried to wiggle herself out of his grasp, her lips sealed shut and head shaking trying to get his lips off her. He let go of her and saw the tears that were building up had fallen, as soon as she saw him staring at her she looked down. But he was still able to see the horror in her eyes and he was satisfied. "Tell Itachi and I will fucking kill you." Those were his last words. She cursed under her breath. That's all she fucking needed a churlish cockered boy to torment her. Would she be a prime suspect if he were to die? With an attitude like that surely she wasn't the only one that hated him. But she could not kill; she would just suck it up. She had no choice, she would gain favor in everyone else's eye, she would be the perfect loyal wife, she would destroy them or die.

So in this fic, Hinata will be less shy and scared but she will put up an act that will be that. I guess that can be considered OC so just a heads up.
