Harley was doing his homework. The doorbell rang. Summer Breeze answered.
"Hello, miss." It was Randy.
"Hello..." said Summer Breeze.
"Mind if come in?"
"Fine..., come in."
"Thank you." He said as he came in. They stood there in the kitchen.
"May I speak to Harley? It should only take a few minutes."
"...Fine. I'll go get him." His mother went to his room.
"Harley! Randy is here! He wants to speak to you."
"About what?"
"I don't know."
"Well, I have a lot of hard homework I'm working on, and I need all the time I can get."
"He said he only needs a few minutes. Just come."
Harley went with her to the kitchen.
Harley looked at Randy. He was wearing a long overcoat, different from the usual men's casual, or fisherman's clothing he usually saw him in.
Don't be confused. Randy lies a lot here.
"I came here to apologize, Harley. I'm the one who seduced lured your father away from your mom."
(His father seduced lured Randy. His mom fought with Lucky a lot before then, mostly because Lucky went out drinking a lot, at both regular bars and gay bars, and also Randy is not the first guy Lucky flirted with)
"Oh...?"
"Yes... But I'd like to make up for it. I know children do better after divorce if they stay in contact with both their parents. And besides, I figure there will be less conflict in the future if we make peace now. I want to make a friendly, son-in-law to father-in-law, relationship with Harley."
"Didn't you want to move away from us?" said Summer Breeze.
"Yes... ...I was worried with you both fighting and all... I did want to move away." "But I figure it would be better if I regularly visited. Harley, will you forgive me?"
(Lucky was the first one to want to move away because of all the fights they got in, but Randy saw how violent Summer Breeze was at times, and wanted to move away for Lucky's safety.)
Harley was looking at his feet. All this time, he didn't know what to do. He still didn't.
"...Yes." He said. He didn't mean it. But he didn't know whether to forgive him or not. As far as he knew, Randy was telling the truth, and he was the one who seduced lured his father away. What could he think? What could he do?
"Alright. Now, do you want me to go, or stay?"
"If it's alright, Mr... Randy, I would like you to leave. I have a lot of homework to do, and it's really important that I finish it."
"I'll leave then, if that's all. Good bye!" Randy said, as he went out the door.
"Good bye!" Both Harley and Summer Breeze said.
Randy closed the door, went to his car, and left.
