It has been quiet for the past few days in Scuttle Town. After returning from the Festival, Shantae spent her peaceful days reading the Book Harmony. Knowing that she shouldn't read the other half-genies mothers, Shantae sticks with her. There was so much about her she never knew. So much she couldn't believe. It was like meeting her mother for the first time in years. However, she came across something else.

"During my travels, I came across two other genies that protected humans as I did. We hit it off really fast. We became friends and started to work together. We fought off many monsters and villains. We were a team. When I mention I wanted to have a family, my friends were with me all the way. I did hear that they had daughters of their own. I was going to bring you to them Shantae, but it was around the time we had to go back to the Genie Realm, leaving you behind. Me and my friends came to see each other as sisters. We were as tight as family. Should you find them, show them this book. It has all the things their daughters need. I love you, my daughter. Please keep watch over the town and don't let the Mayor keep making mistakes. Though, if Scuttlebutt is anything like his father, he'll keep doing it without thinking."

Shantae smiles. She closes the book and thought about it. Her mother met other genies, and they became as close as sisters. Meeting the daughters of her mother's friends was a nice idea. Maybe she could restart what her mother did. Shantae sat up and made up her mind. She was going to find them and show them this book! But where did they live? Did they even live on Sequin Island? It has been a while since she last explored the island. Maybe she could ask Uncle Mimic? She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard a knock on her door. She got up and slide down the rope before opening the door.

"Hey, Shantae," Bolo said.

Shantae sighs as she saw her two best friends. She was still upset about how they acted on their "vacation" but she did forgive them, but only by a little. She was really mad at Sky. Not to mention, she was more focused on their "vacation" than helping her find the others during her adventure.

"Hey, guys. What's up?" Shantae said.

"Your uncle needs you. He said something about being from your mother." Sky said.

From her mother?! Shantae couldn't believe it. Could it be what she needs to find her mother's friend's daughters? She quickly ran back inside and grabbed the book before returning to Sky and Bolo.

"Let's go!" She said, wanting to see what her uncle had.

It didn't take them long to reach Mimic's workshop. Shantae rushed in, surprising her uncle.

"Whoa! Shantae! I see someone excited." Mimic said, shocked.

"Ist it true? You have something for me from my mom?" Shantae asked.

"Yes, she told me to give you this at the coming of age, but I heard that the other two have been found." Mimic said, turning to his desk.

"Your mother was very protective of it and didn't want anyone using it. Now, where did I put it?" Mimic said, looking over his desk.

Shantae was quiet. Whatever her mother wanted to give her was very important. If she wanted to keep it safe, then she'll do the same!

"AH! There it is!" Mimic said, pulling out a red stone.

"What's that? A new gem for my tiara?" Shantae asked.

"No, Shantae. This is the Magic Fire Stone. One of the Element Stones on Sequin Island." Mimic said.

"Element Stones?" Shantae asked.

"One of many. Your mother found this when she was your age. She discovers its power and learns how dangerous it was if it ever fell into the wrong hands. When she had to leave after you were born, she gave this to me until you were older enough to have it. I did try to see if I could get the power to work, but I can not." Mimic said.

"Shantae's mom cared about a stone that she couldn't have used?" Bolo asked.

"No, you dolt! It's a powerful relic that Shantae's mother found, and she wants Shantae to keep it safe." Sky groans.

Shantae looks at the stone and notices a fire symbol in it. Her mother had this stone, and now it was being passed down to her.

"I promise to watch over this stone," Shantae said, seeing her uncle nod.

Shantae goes to grab it, when someone else snatched it!

"What the?!" Mimic said.

"HOHOHOHO!"

Shantae knew that laugh. She turned and saw her old nemesis, Risky Boots.

"Risky! Give that back!" Shantae shouted at her.

"So, the Element Stones are real! To think my captain was making them up." Risky said, looking at the stone.

"Well, I have one! Time to find the rest of them!" Risky said before laughing.

She jumps out the window, making Shantae run after her.

"Shantae! Where are you going?" Bolo asked.

"I have to get that stone back! It belongs to my mom, and I can't let Risky use it for any evil deeds!" She said before running outside.

Burning Town!

Shantae wastes no time in running after Risky's Ship. Much like other times Risky attacks, the town was set on fire again and there were Tinkerbats everywhere. Shantae had a strong feeling the Mayor would once again get upset with her and fire her again. However, this time, Shantae not going to listen to him. She already made up her mind about leaving the town for a while. Her uncle said that her's mother stone was one of many, and that means Risky could go after those as well. She fought off the Tinkerbats and dodge all the cannonballs. She knew Risky would wait for her at the docks. She wasn't going to let her get away with her mother stone!

It didn't her long to reach the docks and saw Risky's ship pull up.

"HOHOHOHO! Looking for something?!" Risky teased.

"Risky! Give me back my mother stone!" Shantae said.

"You mean this stone?" Risky asked, holding it up.

"Yes, that! Give it back!" Shantae said.

"You really don't know about this stone, do you?" Risky asked.

"I know you plan on collecting the rest! You always go after things that would give you the power to rule over the world!" Shantae said.

Shantae was really started to question Risky's reason for going after power. First, her uncle's Steam Engine, then the magic lamp, then another one of her uncle's creations, and finally the flying ship from the Seven Serins. Each time Risky went after those, Shantae was there to stop her. However, during their team-up with her old captain, Shantae saw no sighs of thrust for power. Almost as if Risky didn't want it.

"If you want this little stone back so bad, then come and take it from me!" Risky laughs before cannonballs fired at her.

Shantae knew she was a bit out of practice since her trip to Siren Island. But she still had enough skills to dance through the danger! She dodges the cannonballs and rushes at the ship.

"A head-on attack? I must admit, that's a bold move. FIRE!" Risky said before ordering.

Shantae saw the cannonballs and kept running. She could feel something inside of her, burning to get out. The cannonballs hit the docks and cover the area in smoke. Risky looks around, knowing she didn't dodge them at all. But she was no fool. Shantae always pull off some kind of trick that caught her off guard. Sure enough, Shante came running out of the smoke, unharmed!

"WHAT?!" Risky shouted in shock.

There was something else, Shantae's hair. It was no longer purple or a ponytail. It was red and in the shape of a flame. Even her hands had fire around them.

'How did she?!' Risky thought in shock.

Shantae jumps and lands on the ship. Some of the Tinkerbats try to attack her, but Shantae easily knocked them back. Shantae jumps towards Risky and grabs the stone. Risky notices and tries to push Shantae back.

"It's mine! I stole it first!" She said.

"It belongs to my mother! Give it back!" Shantae said, trying to pull it away.

Suddenly, the stone started to glow, and Risky felt her hand starting to burn. She screams and lets go of the stone, letting Shantae jump off the ship. She lands on the docks and looks back at the ship. She pull her fist back and it caught on fire.

"What?!" Risky asked, shocked.

"FIREBALL!" Shantae shouted, throwing her fist forward.

A giant fireball shot forward and hits Risky's ship. It was sent flying into the ocean, far from the town. Shantae took a breath, and her hair return to normal. She looks at the stone and saw the flame on its move.

"My town!"

Shante turns and saw the Mayor looking over the town as it once again was damaged during the attack. Shantae didn't bother with apologizing. There was no way for her to know of Risky was planning an attack. And it was started to become clear that the mayor really did seem to care she stop Risky from doing more damage to the town. She pockets the stone and started to walk away.

"Well, I have no choice. You're fired." He said, not turning around.

"Mayor, you hire me to protect Scuttle Town. I've been doing my best, but I can't know if Risky going to plan an attack all the time. Most of my magic comes from my mother." Shantae said, keeping her back to the mayor.

"Your mother was able to keep the town safe," Scuttlebutt said.

"Yes, but you're asking me to fill my mother role. A role that I would never fit in. I love Scuttle Town as well, but you can't expect me to be like my mother." Shantae said.

"I know. Your mother was a great genie. I just hope her daughter was just as good." He said.

"I'm not my mother. Stop trying to use me for your benefits." Shantae said, walking back to her lighthouse.

Later...

Shantae packs a few clothes and some food for her trip. She looks at the stone and the book before nodding. She grabs them as well and walks out of her lighthouse. She was surprised to see her friends and uncle waiting for her.

"So, you're leaving?" Mimic asked.

"Yeah. If what you said is true uncle, then Risky is going to go after the others. I need to find them all before she does." Shantae said.

"Even if you do, you don't know how many there are!" Bolo pointed out.

"Bolo's right. How do you plan on finding them?" Sky agreed.

Shantae wasn't sure, she wasn't going to let that stop her.

"I have to find them. Plus, there's a chance I could meet the daughters of my mom's friends." Shantae said.

Mimic sighs and nods.

"I understand. Your mother could keep everyone safe alone. She not only had your father helping her but others too." Mimic said.

Shantae smiles and hugs her uncle.

"Thanks, Uncle Mimic." She said.

Mimic hugs her back before letting go. Shantae then turns and hugs Sky and Bolo.

"Can you guys watch over the town? We don't want another Holly." She asked.

"Augh! I'm still trying to forget her!" Sky groans.

"Just watch yourself out there, okay?" Bolo asked.

"I can take care of myself! But, thanks." Shantae said, smiling.

With that Shantae headed toward the gates. She wasn't sure how long she'll be gone, but she was doing this for Sequin Island.

"Okay! I'm Ret-2-Go!" She said.

And here's the long-awaited chapter for Element Half Genies! Sorry if Shantae is OoC here. It's been a while since I last wrote her. Anyways, Shantae has the Fire Stone and is on her way to meet the other two. She'll meet Glacia first, then Levina.

By the way, remember how I said in the last chapter if this story comes along I'll add more Half Genies? I'm still thinking on that and what element they will have.

Fire Genie- Shantae

Ice Genie-Glacia

Lightning Genie- Levina

The elements I'm thinking of using are these.

Wood Genie-?

Poison Genie-?

Light Genie-?

Dark-Genie-?

And since Shantae is not on Paradise Island, A.K.A Siren Island, none of the half genies from Seven Sirens will be in this story. So no Plink, Vera, Zapple, and Harmony. And don't ask me why I want a Poison Half-Genie. The idea appear in my mind one day, and it wouldn't leave. And not all of them will have their hairstyle like a symbol of their elements. Shantae is the only one that can switch between them.
