Shantae travels through a field, dealing with monsters that attacked her. She was using the book as a guild to find where the other half-genies were. She has traveled across this island many times, so why didn't she run into any half-genies before? As she thought about it, she must have been too busy trying to stop Risky instead of looking for other genies. She continues to reread how her mother meets the other genies before noticing one place she's been to.

"Twinkle Palace? Ah, man! Don't tell me I have to climb all the way up there again." Shantae groans.

Her last time there was to stop Risky from finding the four stones to power up her version of her uncle's steam engine. Not to mention how cold it was! She was not looking forward to climbing up that mountain to find the ice genie there. She forgot to pack a jacket! Still, she sighs and closes the book.

"Well, Shantae, you wanted to find some half-genies. I guess you'll have to deal with a little cold." She said to herself.

She did still remember where Mount Pointy was and could see it a bit far from her. But she did know her island inside and out. Meaning she knew where shortcuts were! She was able to find the underground tunnels, but she had a hard time remembering which tunnel lead where. After what felt like hours, Shantae climbs out of the tunnel to feel freezing cold air hit her.

"E-E-Eyup! T-T-This M-M-Mount Pointy, a-a-a-alright." Shantae said, shivering.

Shantae started to walk through the snowy field, trying to fight the cold. She continues to walk, pulling out the book to see if she could find a hint.

"C-C-Come on. I-I-I'm sure mom l-l-l-left a c-c-c-clue!" Shantae shivers.

"You there!"

Shantae jumps and almost drops the book before seeing a group of people wearing winter clothes walking up to her.

"What are you going here? And why are you dressed like that in this weather?" The leading person asked.

"I-I-I'm trying to find the v-v-village of the i-i-ice genie." She said.

"The ice genie?" The man asked.

"M-m-m-my name is Shantae, and I'm a d-d-daughter of a g-g-genie," Shantae said, starting to rub her arms.

"Someone get her a coat!" The leader said, seeing her skin slowly turning blue.

"I'm s-s-s-so c-c-c-cold." She said, trying to stay awake.

How did she get cold so fast? Her version was started to blur out. She passed out just as a coat was placed on her.

Later,

Shantae groans as she opens her eyes. It took a while, but she could see that she was in a wooden house with a window close by. She could feel that she was in a bed and cover in a warm blanket. She sat up and heard the door open. She watched as a girl her age, with a snowflake-style hair, walk into the room, holding a tray of Hot Chocolate. She notices her awake and gasps.

"Oh, thank goodness! You have recovered!" She said, walking over to the bed.

"Where am I?" Shantae asked, confused.

"My home. My dad brought you here after you passed out. I've never seen someone trying to brave through a winter storm without a coat before." She said, handing her the Hot Chocolate.

Shantae took a sip and was surprised to taste how amazing it was. She then turns to the girl and notice her clothes were close to hers but had a white jacket over her body.

"Oh! I almost forgot. My name is Glacia." She said, holding out her hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Shantae." She said, shaking her hand.

"Shantae?! The Half-Hero Genie, Shantae?!" Glacia asked, shocked.

"Um, yeah! You heard of me?" Shantae asked.

"Heard of you?! You're a legend on this island! Everyone heard how you save Sequin Land many times! Why, I heard about the time you beat the Pirate Master!" Glacia said before blushing.

"Oh, sorry! I let my excitement get the better of me." She said, looking away.

"It's alright. I'm surprised you know about it." Shantae said, taking another sip of her hot chocolate.

"Where did you learn to make this? It's really good!" Shantae asked.

"Oh, I, um, learned it myself. I use a little special magic only my mother could use. I was able to copy it, but I still got a long way to go." Glacia said.

"Wait, magic? You're a Half-Genie?" Shantae asked.

"Yes. I use Ice Magic." Glacia said, looking away.

Shantae looks shocked before seeing her backpack close by. She puts the cup down and grabs it. She quickly pulls out the book and hands it to her.

"What's this?" Glacia asked.

"It's a scrapbook I got from another Half-genie. She told me it was left by our mothers." She said, surprising her.

"Mom?" Glacia asked, taking the book.

"I'm sure your mom has something in there she wanted to tell you," Shantae said.

Glacia looks at the book before opening it. She went to the page that she knew belonged to her mother and read it. Shantae watch as Glacia's eyes were glued to every word in the book. Shantae stay quiet until she saw tears in Glacia's eyes.

"Mom..." She said, quietly.

Shantae didn't read that part, but she had a feeling Glacia's mother must have left her daughter with some words.

Glacia close the book and dried her tears.

"Thank you." She said, smiling.

"You're welcome," Shantae said, smiling back.

"Glacia?"

The girls turn as Mitch steps into the room.

"Dad." She said.

Shantae looks between the two, surprised. Glacia still had her father. She didn't have any of her parents. But this was no time to feel jealous. Mitch notices her and smiles.

"Ah! I was wondering when you would wake up. You gave us quite a scare, young lady." He said, walking up to them.

"Dad, this is Shantae! You know, the Hero of Sequin Land?" Glacia said.

"Ah! That explains why her name sounded familiar!" Mitch said, reaching out with his hand.

"I'm Mitch, a Relic Hunter." He said.

"A Relic Hunter? You're just like Uncle Mimic." Shantae said.

"Wait, you're the niece of Mimic, the greatest of all Relic Hunters?" Mitch asked, shocked.

"Well, not really. He raise me when my mother left. I don't know what happen to my father." Shantae said.

Glacia felt sorry for her. She could never imagine why she would do if her father just left and never returned. Mitch places a hand on her shoulder and smiles.

"I'm sorry about that." He said.

Shantae offers a small smile, knowing he didn't mean any harm. Then Glacia jumps up and runs towards her closet.

"Glacia?" Mitch asked, a little surprised.

She found another coat and rushed over to Shantae and gave it to her.

"Is it okay if I take her on a tour?" She asked, surprising both of them.

Mitch then chuckles as he nods.

"Very well, the winter storm has died down. But try to be back before it returns." He said.

Shantae blinks. A tour? Well, she did look around each town every time she came to a new one. Might as have a look around.

A bit later,

Glacia showed Shantae many places of her hometown. She also explain they were halfway up Mount Pointy. It was still cold, but every now and then they get a few warm days. Shantae saw they had a coat store, which Glacia took her into the find her own coat. After that, she took Shantae to their bathhouse. Shantae required one, and they spend a few minutes in there. Glacia showed more places before they reach the Mayor's office.

"Glacia?" Shantae asked.

"We had to fire our mayor." She said, sighing.

"Why?" Shantae asked.

"He wanted me to stop all attacks by any means necessary. Even if that meant killing the attacker." She said, sadly.

"WHAT?!" Shantae shouted.

A mayor that wants a half-genie to kill? She did read that not all genies were not good or kind genies. Some were evil and did indeed kill others. Byt she couldn't believe the town's own mayor wanted Glacia to kill the attacker of her home. Sure, she has powerful ice magic, but she looks more like a peaceful genie, not a fighter.

"Not even my mayor does that," Shantae said, shocked.

"Well, we're opening a mayor's campaign to find someone to replace the old one. Lots of the people really like me and understand I don't want to be a killer. We haven't found one yet, but we won't stop looking." Glacia said.

Shantae looks ready to say something but spotting something in the air.

"Are those...GIANT SNOWBALLS!?" Shantae shouted in shock.

Glacia saw them and quickly held up her hands. She forms an ice shield around her and Shantae as the snowballs hit it. Glacia lowers the shield and sighs.

"He always attacks when my father returns." She said, annoyed.

"Who attacks?" Shantae asked.

"Aaron." Glacia groans.

Before Shantae could ask, small snow monsters started to run around the town, destroying things. Glacia ran to a group and kicks one away. They started to surround her, but she easily beat them back. Shantae notices another group trying to bring down a stand and saw someone under it. She quickly uses her hair and grabs the man. She pulls him away as the stand fell on top of the cart.

"My Ice Cabbages!" He shouted.

Shantae saw a few snow monsters heading her way and quickly whips her hair at them.

"Get off me!"

She turns, and saw Glacia surround by some of the small snow monsters and quickly rush to help her. She whips them away, and stood back to back with her.

"There's too many of them," Shantae said, whipping another one.

"Aaron always thinks my father brings back some kind of weapon that will help him take over Icey Town," Glacia said, knocking a snow monster away.

"Wait, he thinks I'm a weapon?" Shantae asked, confused.

"You mean, you're not?"

Both girls turned and saw Aaron standing close by with a confused look on his face. Shantae raised an eyebrow as Glacia shook her head.

"Shantae, meet Aaron. A Yeti that wants power but is too dumb to understand that not everything is a weapon." She said.

"I'll so you dumb!" Aaron roars and jumps at them.

Both girls jump back as Aaron's fist hits the ground. Shantae reacted by whipping her hair, but Aaron shrugs it off. He held his fists above his head and goes to bring them down on Shantae, only for Glacia to quickly put up a shield to protect Shantae. Aaron smashes through the shield, knocking both girls back. Glacia and Shantae land a bit far from him, dropping the stones they were holding. The two stones started to glow and Aaron saw them.

"Hmm? Pretty stones?" He said, walking up to them.

He goes to pick them up when he spotted Shantae throw a jump kick at him. He crosses his arms to block it but saw that Shantae's foot was on fire. He was knocked back as Shantae landed on the ground and grabs the stones. She could feel the Firestone activating, giving her a boost, but the Icestone was trying to cancel it.

"Glacia, here!" Shantae said, throwing the Icestone to her.

The second she caught it, Glacia felt something in her. Her jacket burst into some snow as the tip of her fingers turn blue. Her snowflake hair started to freeze over, but she didn't feel it. Finally, her eyes turned white.

"Huh? What happen?" She said, looking over herself.

Shantae steps up, also looking different.

"I think these stones have some kind of power in them. And they're sharing that power with us." Shantae said.

"Really?" Glacia asked, surprised.

"I'm only guessing. This is the second time my stone did this to me." Shantae said, rubbing the back of her head.

"So, Pretty Stones are weapons!"

They turn and saw Aaron stomping up to them.

"That's means, I get stones to become stronger!" He roars, charging at them.

Shantae threw up her hands and shot a flamethrower from them, forcing Aaron to dodge. Glacia took a look at her hair, and decide to try something. She reaches up and grabs it before pulling out a giant snowflake from her hair.

"Wow! That's cool!" She said before throwing at Aaron.

Aaron tries to destroy it, but it burst into smaller snowflakes, covering his version. Shantae smiles at Glaica, who blushes. Shantae whips her flame hair at Aaron and grabs his leg. With a newfound strength, Shantae lifts him up and starts to spin him around. She finally let go, throwing him out of the town. Aaron flew through the air until he land face-first into the Mountain.

Shantae turns to Glacia, who was looking over herself more thoughtfully.

"Huh, my hair is frozen, but it feels like I can still feel it. My fingers look like they started to get frostbite, but they feel fine." She said.

She then looks up and saw Shantae's fire hair.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

Shantae smiles and nods.

"I'm fine. Just like your hair, I can still feel mine. I'm just trying to figure out how to turn it off." She said.

A bit later,

It did take them a while, but both Shantae and Glacia were able to "power down" to normal. Shantae was sitting at the table, drinking her hot choco.

"My friends would love to have a taste of this! It's so good!" She said.

Mitch was looking over both stones, humming to himself.

"Is there something wrong?" Glacia asked him.

"What did you say these were called?" He asked Shantae.

"Element Stones. Risky Boots is after them." She answers.

Glacia was shocked to hear that. She knew of Risky Boots, a pirate that was always after some kind of treasure.

"Does that mean, she's..." Glacia trails off.

"Maybe, but I don't know how many there are. She might have gone after those ones, but there's a chance she'll come after this one too." Shantae said.

Glacia wasn't sure if she could handle Risky Boots. Shantae then reaches up and patted her arm.

"Hey, it's alright. I won't let her hurt you or anyone else." She said, making Glacia smile.

"So, what are you doing here?" Mitch asked.

"Right, for a long time, I thought I was the only half-genie on the island. When I got that scrapbook, I learn my mother made friends with other genies. An Ice Genie and an Electric Genie. She even wrote that they also had children was hoping all three of them would meet. And I can see that Glacia is the daughter of the Ice Genie." Shantae said.

Glacia didn't know her mother made friends with other genies. She then recalls reading something from her own mother. How she made friends with two other genies, and show her a land beyond the winter wonderland.

"So, are you going to find the next one?" Mitch asked.

"Yeah. It's why I set out on this guest. I want to meet the others. And maybe warn anyone that might have those stones." Shantae said.

Mitch nodded. If the stories were right Risky Boots would indeed come after the others. And since Shantae dealt with her many times, she knew what to look out for.

"Then I'll go with you!"

Both Shantae and Mitch turned to Glacia, surprised. The Ice Half-Genie looked surprised at her own words before blushing.

"That is, if's it okay with you." She said, shyly.

Shantae looks over at Mitch, who was thinking.

"I never thought this day would come." He said, making his daughter look at him.

"It's true your mother's friends help her see a world beyond what she knew. But I was the first person to help your mother understand that there was more to life than granting wishes. If you want to leave, Glacia, then I'm fine with it." He said.

Glacia blinks before smiling.

"THANK YOU!" She cheers, hugging her father.

Shantae blinks but smiles. She has traveled along many times during her adventures. Maybe having a friend will make things interesting.

Meanwhile,

Aaron groans as his arm was wrapped up by some bandages. He glows and started to punch the wall.

"Damn that Fire Genie! When Aaron gets his hands on her, Aaron will make her head blow out like a candle!" He said.

"My, my! Looks like someone ran into a little trouble."

Aaron turns and saw someone stepping into his cave, smirking at him.

"Aaron doesn't know who Pretty Pirate Lady is, but Pretty Pirate Lady better leave before Aaron smashes her face!" Aaron warns.

The said Pirate Lady laughs.

"Well, that's not the first time I was called pretty." She said as the snow monsters surround her.

"Now, now, I'm not here to fight. I heard of your latest attack on the town. I have thought about raiding it for some time, but a winter storm always stops me." She said.

"What do you want?" Aaron asked, stomping up to her.

"What do you know about the Element Stones?" She asked, making Aaron look at her.

"Element Stones? You mean the pretty stones that those half-genies carry?" He asked.

"Yes. They are only two of many stones. I'm collecting them to rule over the seven seas!" She said, laughing.

"The seas? They are no use to Aaron. It's just water." He said, uninterested.

"How about a deal then? You help me get those stones, and I'll give you the power to take over this mountain? No one would dare climb it with you in charge." The Pirate Lady said.

Aaron thought about it and smirks. Power to rule the Mountain? Sounds like his kind of thing.

"Aaron agrees, Pretty Pirate Lady." He said.

"Please, call me, Risky Boots." She smirks.

And here's another chapter. Shantae has met Glacia and helped her save her home from Aaron. Glacia is joining Shantae to find the next half-genie, Levina. But Risky Boots is on their tail with a new ally, herself! I also have noticed that you guys really haven't tried helping me with my other Half-Genies ideas. The only one that did was Light He'arth with the Poison Half-Genie and her main villain. The Poison Half-Genie is named Aala and her villain is named Ahmya. I might save those genies for a squeal, but do you guys have any ideas for the other three?
