Author's Note: Hello, fellow readers! This is my first time writing fanfiction, so if I failed horribly at it I'm sorry. :( But if you didn't read Shark Tale: Lie Another Day by ReesieReese it is most likely you will have no idea what is going on. Now if you didn't read it go and read it now! Then came back and read this. So, you see ReesieReese never actually finished this fic so, I am finishing for him. It's been 15 years since he posted the last chapter so I hope you guys like it!

Chapter 23: Realization

Ronnie's POV

" Oh...My...God…" I gasped.

I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. Lenny was floating there, a blue bandana covered in what I assumed was blood in one fin, and a bow wrapped in blue wrapping paper and a green ribbon. Next to him were torn up shreds of flesh of some other poor shark he had ripped to bits. There was blood everywhere. I could smell it and I could tell by the look on Lenny's face that he could too. He put his fin to his mouth and nose as to not throw up all over the place from the revolting smell. I knew he was gagging , but all I could seem to stare at was the large bite-shaped gash on his fin. That other shark must've bit him. Whatever. He deserved it. He deserved to feel some pain for all the pain he had caused this shark.

" Ugh...I did all that. Things couldn't possibly get any worse. " Lenny whispered to himself.

Then he turned to see me floating behind the wall. Shocked and terrified at what I might say he start to speak, " Ronnie…" but I cut him off before he could get anymore words out.

" I don't want to hear it. I've seen enough. I already have an explanation. You don't need to say anything" I said rather harshly. Then I began to swim out to get to next whale fish that would arrive. I had to get home to Ricky and tell him I was okay. I had to tell him and Lenny's friends that Lenny was a murderer.

I managed to get out of the ship thinking he had not tried to stop me and explain which must mean it's true, but once I was out of the ship he caught up to me. Dang! Why does he have to be so fast! He grabbed my fin once he close enough to me and pulled him off.

" Ronnie. Please, it's not what you think. He was trying to kill me! " , Lenny screamed and then his voice got real low and angry, " Then he threatened to kill you after I was dead." I was shocked and terrified that he was going to hurt me, but then I realized something. The only time Lenny's seems to get angry and do stuff like this is because those people have either hurt me or tried to hurt me. The only reason he all that was because he loved me.

Lenny's POV

I was going to continue to explain but I stopped when she looked… scared of me. Then she looked like she was deep in thought for a minute. Then she spoke. " Lenny, listen I'm not really sure how to say this but… I know why you Markie and that other shark. It's because they hurt or threatened to hurt me and I realized that you got angry and upset because of , technically it's my fault. I'm sorry for that. So now I know that you would literally kill someone because you love me." I just floated there shocked. I didn't know how to respond to that but one huge question did pop into my head.

" Wait. So are you going to call the police on me?" I questioned because I would know an answer to another question that I really wanted to know by how she answered this one.

" Well, no. I couldn't do that. I won't ruin the great life you are supposed to have. You certainly deserve it. We might have to stage an accident though. Like he fell into a paper shredder." Ronnie laughed. She really does love me. I was so happy and I just hugged her.

" Ronnie, I love you." I whispered into her ear. I let go of her and she smiled. She kissed me and gasped out, " I love you too, Lenny. More than you know." , then continued to kiss me passionately.

Author's Note: So what did you think? I have a few ideas of what's going to happen next but it would be nice if you guys could give me some ideas as well for what's to happen in the future. :)
