"Give me the Shikon no Tama!" the centipede ordered following us.
"But... I don't... I don't have anything like that." Kagome said as we ran. The centipede came to us and I pulled Kagome down so we dodged her. When we looked up we were back at the tree the boy was on, but this time when we saw him he was awake. I pulled her back down as the centipede came back to us.
"What are you doing with that wimpy centipede opponent of yours, eh?" the boy asked us.
"You... You are..." Kagome said looking at him.
"Settle this with a single blow, Kikyou. Like when you killed me." he told her.
"What are you talking about?" I asked him.
"Kikyou? My name is..." Kagome started telling him.
"It comes." he said I turned as I felt the centipede's presence come closer to us again. The centipede dropped on us. Suddenly she had arrows in her with ropes connected to them.
"Pull!" I followed the ropes to see the villagers.
"Al... Alright" they pulled her away from us and we breathed a sigh of relief.
"Saved." Kagome said and I smiled at her.
"Heh, I'm disappointed Kikyou." the boy told Kagome.
"Why you... You're mistaking me for someone else. I'm not this Kikyou person." She told him.
"Keh... Go stuff it! No other girl smells this disgusting except..." he took a good look at her and sniffed the air between them. "Kikyou... you're not her..."
"Get it now?! My name is Kagome! Ka. Go. Me." she told him.
"Kikyo was far more intelligent looking and beautiful." he said looking away from Kagome.
"Wha..." she never finished a word as we saw the villagers fall close to us. The Centipede grabbed Kagome and tried to pull her away from us. I grabbed her hand and his hair to keep her with me. "Let... Go... Of me!" Kagome shouted at the centipede.
"Ow ow ow ow! You let go of me!" he told me.
"Shut up dog boy!" I told him.
"This body is troublesome. I'll devour you whole Shikon no Tama and all!" she told Kagome.
"The hell you will!" I told her. My powers rushed through me and she was flown back with such force that her arms were ripped off.
"What was that?" Kagome asked standing close to me.
"Damn bitch..." the Youkai said. She attacked and Kagome pushed me out of the way but was bitten on the side.
"Kagome!" I called out to her. The teeth ripped through her and she fell to the ground but something had flown out of her. A jewel.
"Just as I thought. She had hidden it inside of her body." the centipede said.
"That's mine!" I turned to the boy to see him staring at the jewel. "Hand it over!" he ordered. The centipede wrapped her body around Kagome and tightened around the three of us.
"I've heard that some Hanyou brat, named Inuyasha or whatever, is after the Shikon no Tama." The woman said. Hanyou?
"Don't underestimate me, Centipede Jourou. When I fight seriously, a bitch like you is just small-fry." Inuyasha told her.
"You've had that big attitude since earlier, but are you strong?" Kagome asked him.
"Kagome? what are you doing?" I asked her, but she ignored me.
"Can't move can you? It looks as though your power is being sealed, isn't it?" she asked him and I looked to the arrow in his chest and felt the power off of it. "You just stay there and watch..." she grabbed the jewel with her tongue and swallowed it.
"Aww, crap!" Inuyasha said as we watched. Her arms wiggled on the ground before connecting with her body again.
"Her arms came back?!" Kagome asked shocked.
"That's the power of the jewel, Kagome." I told her watching Centipede Jourou shed her human skin for her Youkai form.
"How wonderful... My full powers have returned." she said happily. It then began to squeeze us tightly, strangling us.
"Oi. this arrow. Can you pull it out?" he asked us. We stared at him in shock for a moment. Kagome began to reach for it but a voic stopped her.
"You must not pull it out! That arrow is Inuyasha's seal! He must not be freed!" the priestess told us.
"You have asleep, Babaa?!" the Hanyou asked her. "Do you want to become Centipede bait?!"
"Kagome, this is up to you. You're the only one able to free him." I told her.
"Why me? Why not you?" she asked me.
"Because your human." I told her and she gave me a confused look.
"How about it girl? Do you wanna die here with us?" Inuyasha asked her and she looked between the two of us thinking. She grabbed the arrow in his chest and pulled on it making it disappear. Inuyasha then started laughing and we were thrown away from him and the Centipede's body was blown into smaller pieces. He then fell from the tree and landed on all fours. I stood in front of Kagome to protect her from anything that came our way without really blocking her from seeing what was going to happen.
"You brat..." Centipede Jourou called out to Inuyasha while moving in to attack him.
"Come and get it, hag!" he said preparing for his own attack. "Sankon Testusou!" His claws glowed a golden color and ripped the Youkai apart. He landed on his feet after the attack with the pieces landing around us. The pieces began to wiggle on the ground around us.
"No way! They're still moving!" Kagome said looking at them.
"Do you see a glowing piece of flesh?" Kaede asked her.
"Eh?"
"The Shikon no Tama should be inside that." she explained.
"So long as the jewel remains inside the flesh Centipede Jourou will be able to come back to life again and again." I told Kagome.
"You're joke..." Kagome started saying but looked at our faces and stopped. "You're not joking." she said before looking around at the different pieces. "I see it... Over there.." she told us. She grabbed the jewel from the flesh and looked at it in her hand. "The Shikon no Tama is actually something that makes Youkai stronger." she said looking at it.
"You got it." Inuyasha said drawing our attention to him. "To a human it's just a useless thing. Now, unless you want to become a victim to my claws, be a good girl, and hand over the Shikon no Tama." Inuyasha told her.
"You want it you'll have to go through me first." I told him getting ready for a fight.
