So I have decided to do the movies, or at least the third one, after the story gets to a certain point. I don't want to do the movies then give things away about the future events :)

"Shit! It's starting to transform!" Inuyasha said after the bird had picked up a child who was crying out.

"The child... that's thing's not going to..." Kagome couldn't finish her words at the thought.

"I told you, the Shibugarasu feeds on humans But as it's hanging onto its prey, it's movements are restricted. How convenient." Inuyasha said. "I'll rip apart everything!" He prepared to kill the demon who still clung to the child.

"Idiot! You have to save the child!" Kagome yelled at him. Kagome dropped from Inuyasha's back and yanked the child from the birds claws as Inuyasha attacked with his.

"You bitch! Why are you interfering with me!?" Inuyasha asked her. The bird turned its jaws on Kagome and the child.

"Kagome!" I called out and used the wind to form a sword and cut the bird up, but I didn't catch Kagome and the child before they both fell to the ground. I landed gently next to them as she pulled the foot from his arm.

"You're alright now, kid." she told him and he clung to her and cried. I looked behind me to see the bird's remains fall into the lake.

"Oi! Girl! Where's the Shokon no Tama?" Inuyasha asked Kagome.

"Too late." I said watching as the bird reformed.

"It returned to normal!" one of the villagers called out.

"I see it! Under the wings!" Kagome called out the location of the jewel. Inuyasha swiped at the wail but it only reformed.

"Ah crap. That Shibugarasu scum, it's trying to sneak off until it absorbs the Shikon no Tama completely." Inuyasha told us. Suddenly Kagome pulled out the necktie from her uniform and tied the foot she still held to an arrow and aimed it at the bird.

"Oi..." Inuyasha said.

"This time..." Kagome said quietly.

"Going for that kind of distance..." the villagers said.

"You won't hit it like this, bitch. Not when you're as feeble with the bow as..." Inuyasha stopped talking at my glare.

"It'll definitely hit it!" Kagome yelled at him releasing the arrow.I watched as the foot twitched and realized her plan.

"The Shibugarasu's leg on the arrow will force it to hit. With the Shikon no Tama's regenerative power the leg should return to the body." I said. We watched as the arrow flew through the air before it pierced the bird.

"It... It struck!" Kagome said excitedly. Suddenly there was a bright list from where the bird was and small lights flew across the sky. What is that?

When the sun was setting the three of us went to where Kagome was sensing something.

"Oi, is the jewel really here somewhere?" Inuyasha asked her.

"Somehow, I just have this feeling." she told us. Suddenly something attacked us.

"The Shibugarasu?" I asked. When we could see it it was just the head.

"Heh. At last, it felt like coming to me." Inuyasha said smirking before attacking it. "You're fucking dead!" When he destroyed the head something came out of it. Kagome and I walked to it and she knelt down to pick it up. "The jewel..." Inuyasha said looking at her.

"This... Could it be?" Kagome asked looking at the small shard. I took the shard from her and got a good look at it.

"It seems to be a fragment of the Shikon no Tama." I told them.

"Wha..."

"What the hell is going on?!" Inuyasha yelled for the thousandth time that night. Kagome and I stayed silent as we walked back to Kaede's hut in the village.

"Stop howling, Inuyasha." she told him.

"What's happened to the Jewel?!" he asked again.

"When Kagome fired her purifying arrow, it shattered the Mononoke's body along with the Shikon no Tama." Kaede explained. "The Jewel fragments have scattered all over, I'd say. It may have broken into then pieces or a hundred, but even a single fragment in the hands of a strong Mononoke could be the beginning of a great disaster." I saw Kagome look down at the Jewel in thought and held her hand, for comfort.

"Now listen, Kagome, Inuyasha. The two of you must combine your powers to collect the fragments of the Shikon no Tama, and return it to normal." Kaede told them. It reminded me of one thing. They really didn't need me here, so why was I?

"You sure about that Kaede-babaa?" Inuyasha asked her. "I'm one of the bad guys after the Jewel, remember?"

"For now, it can't be helped." Kaede told him. I really should figure out a way to go home and stay there. I had no reason to be here, right?
