Author's Note: Hello, fellow readers! I don't really feel like recapping because the last chapter was like five short paragraphs so you should remember. But there will be a warning in this chapter. You will see it in BIG BOLD LETTERS. You'll understand what the warning is when you read it. :)

Okay! So I plan for this chapter to be longer than what I usually write. A lot of things will be happening. It just might shock you or it might make your skin crawl! It may or may not include drugs…

Chapter 28: Pills and Fights

Ronnie's POV

Ronnie was actually in a bit of shock from the story Oscar had just told her. " You mean… You and Lenny, were best friends? Hmm… That doesn't seem like him at all. I would think that you would be a small snack for him." Ronnie replied. She now knew why Lenny would get upset about talking about his past. It was awful. No wonder he doesn't want to go back. And I'm sure his father would deal him with the police.

" Ronnie are you okay? You're not mad at me right?" Oscar asked nervously.

" No! No, of course not! I'm just worried about Lenny that's all. Maybe I was too harsh on him. We should go get him. He couldn't have gone far. He's probably still in the city." Ronnie started to babble to herself.

" Yes! We should go get him! I just hope he'll be cooled off enough to help me and not eat me. You'll protect me though right? I'm sure I would be a snack to a lot of other sharks in this place." Oscar hid cowardly behind her.

" Of course! I won't let those sharks lay a fin on you. Including Lenny. I'm sure in time he'll forgive you because if you hadn't lied he wouldn't have met me, so in a way, it's a good thing." Ronnie Replied. " Ok. Now let's go!" Ronnie darted to the door. She turned the handle and opened the door.

Four familiar sharks were all floating at the door. Ricky was in the front about to knock on the door which was not there anymore.

" RONNIE! Thank god you're okay! I thought I'd lost you!" Ricky grabbed Ronnie in a bear hug and wouldn't let her go.

" Ummm...Ricky...I...Can't...Breath…" Ronnie managed to gasp out.

" Oh! Sorry!" Ricky immediately released his grasp on her. " So… You didn't find him? I would have assumed you would've left or came back with him. Well, I guess we can forget about him now." Ricky said as he started swimming into Ronnie's house.

" RICKY! Don't say that! Okay so I have some explaining to do but I'll you the rest of it later. I did come back with Lenny, but something came up and he got angry so I kicked him out...But not about that right now we need to find him!" Ronnie started getting worried.

" Say no more!" Shelly grabbed both Andre and Jamel and started swimming towards the city.

" Ronnie, you're ridiculous! I can't believe you're going after him! Especially after he killed somebody! What if he gets mad at you and hurts you! What would you do then Ronnie?" Ricky spat out at her.

" RICKY! I love him and that's all that matters! The only reason he did that was to protect me! He would NEVER hurt me!" Ronnie started swimming away and burst into tears.

" Ronnie! We found him! He's a bit busy though!" Jamel shouted out to her and the rest of them.

Ronnie turned to Oscar and motioned for him to follow. When they got up to where Jamel was she could see a crowd of sharks surrounding something. She pushed herself through the crowd to get to the front to see what they were looking at.

What she saw shocked her. Lenny was in the middle of the circle beating the crap out of some guy she had never seen before. What happened? It had only been a few minutes since he left the house. Is he just trying to beat people up now?

" Don't you ever, EVER try to touch me again! Got it, small fry?" Lenny yelled over the crowd. The other shark shook his head and limped off as fast as he could. Lenny went into the store where the fight took place in front of it. Ronnie was trying to get in there, but the crowd just keep cheering.

" GUYS! WE HAVE TO GET TO HIM!" Ronnie shouted out to everybody over the cheers of the crowd of sharks.

Lenny's POV

WARNING! THERE WILL BE DRUG USE IN THIS PART OF THE STORY! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ OR HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DOING DRUGS DO NOT READ! SKIP!

I swam back into the store. That guy was weaker than I'd thought he'd be. The crowd was still outside cheering. I swam into the aisle with the pills and grabbed a bottle. I swam to the counter and paid for them with the little money I had with me. The money I stole from Carlotta.

" Here you go, sir!" The cashier said glumly.

Lenny swam straight to the bathroom and hid in the supply closet so no one could see what he was doing. He grabs a string and pulled it. Figuring it was a light switch. He was correct. The light flickered on. Lenny opened the bottle and poured a whole bunch into his hands. 13 pills. He popped them into his mouth and swallowed them whole. He waited for the effects to start drifting him off to an eternal sleep of no nightmares, nor dreams. Then he heard five familiar voices.

" Lenny!" " LeNnY!" " LENNY!" " Lens!" " Lenny, where are you, buddy?"

It was Ronnie, Ricky, Jamel, Andre, and... Oscar? Oscar had come looking for him. He must have told Ronnie everything. Oh no! No, he had to escape before they caught him. Besides by the time he had gotten anywhere anyway, he would be dead…

Oscar's POV

" Lenny, where are you, buddy?"

No matter how many times we all shouted for him he never came out. I swam above the crowd of sharks, who didn't seem to notice me, and into the store. I saw Ronnie, Ricky, and the rest of the sharks follow after me. I swam through all the aisles, but he was nowhere to be found.

I suddenly saw a door on the ground in front of me. It was huge! I swam into the room. It was a bathroom! But...Lenny wasn't in here either…

" Is he in here?" Ronnie asked me.

" No. This is the only other place! I've looked everywhere else!" Oscar said very frustratedly.

" Wait, guys! Look!" Andre pointed to another door in the corner of the bathroom.

" It must be the supply closet. Lenny! Please come out! We understand! We won't hurt you! It's okay that you killed Markie. It was just self-defense." Shelly said calmly. She opened the door and saw nothing but a broken window and glass all over the floor.

All the sharks and Oscar crowded inside to look for anything he may have dropped. Oscar spotted a bottle of pills. Maybe half-way empty. He picked it up and poured them out. He counted them. 2 pills were left. He read the tag on the bottle and it said that there were 15 pills inside.

" Guys! I think Lenny drugged himself with 13 pills!" Oscar shouted.

" OMG! He what?" Ronnie started to panic. " We have to find him!"
