"Inuyasha!" the woman called down to him. Inuyasha had called her his mother, but wasn't she dead? Suddenly an arm came down from the sky and crushed the carriage she was in. The Youkai revealed itself to be an ugly, black creature with red eyes and two white horns on its head. In its right hand he held Inuyasha's mother tightly. Inuyasha immediately went to her aid when suddenly fire flew into his path.
"Jaken. We'll talk first, kill later." I looked up the arm to see a man standing on his elbow. The man's hair was long and white, he had a purple crescent moon mark on his forehead, golden eyes, and two magenta stripes on both cheeks. He wore a white top with red designs on the collar and shoulder then again at the ends of his sleeves. He wore armor on his chest and over his left shoulder and had a golden cloth, darker than his eyes which matched Inuyasha's, with blue designs tied around his waist. He wore a strange fur over his right should which fell down to his feet behind him. He had on white pants and black shoes on as well. He stood with hands in his sleeves, staring down at us.
"Yes, My Lord." At this man's feet was a green Kappa holding a staff with two heads on it: an old mans and a young womans.
"You bastard Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha called up to the man.
"Oh?" the man smirked. "Well done, it seems you remembered the face of your elder brother."
"What? Elder brother?" I asked quietly.
"Well, if it isn't a human girl and an Elemental woman." Sesshomaru said and I put Kagome behind me.
"So... So what?" Kagome asked him, hiding more behind Inuyasha and myself.
"What of it?" I asked him.
"The Elemental woman is acceptable, but the human... Inuyasha, how fitting that one such as you hang aruond humans..." Sesshomaru said to him. The chains were pulled tighter around Inuyasha's mother's neck by Sesshomaru, who sat down on the Youkai's arm. "A Hanyou whose mother is a vile creature like a human. You have brought shame upon our family."
"Sesshomaru, you bastard. Did you come all this fucking way just to say that?" Inuyasha asked him.
"Moron, I do not have that much spare time." Sesshomaru told him. "I've come to ask you the location of Chichi-ue's tomb."
"Oyaji's tomb?" Inuyasha asked him. "I dunno. I have no clue."
"Is that so? Well then, it can't be helped, you mother will have to suffer." Sesshomaru told him. The giant Youkai holding her tightened his hold on her her.
"I...Inuyasha!" Kagome scolded.
"Think I'm stupid, you bastard!" Inuyasha called up to him. "Ofukuro's been dead for years! You phony!"
"What a moron you are." Sesshomaru told him. "When, especially for your sake, your mother's soul was brought back from the land of the dead. I even gave her a body."
"Can he really bring back the dead?" I asked Inuyasha, but he didn't answer.
"Inu...Inuyasha." We looked up to see his mother reaching down to us. "Do not concern yourself with me, as my body has already died once." she said with a gentle smile before the Youkai holding her tightened his grip once more.
"Shit!" Inuyasha jumped to attack her. "Sankon Tetsusou!" His mother fell to the ground and Kagome and I rushed to her aid.
"Are you alright?" Kagome asked her as I helped her up.
"Kagome! Amane! Take Ofukuro and get out of here!" he told us.
"You wont get away!" Sesshomaru told us, getting ready to attack the three of us. Inuyasha got in the way of the larger Youkai and was now coming at us also as the Youkai pushed him.
"Inuyasha!" his mother said, worried. Suddenly a bright light came from her hands and covered the four of us.
When I opened my eyes I saw we had moved. I moved my eyes around trying to look around more, but all I could see was flowers and light. Did I sleep through the night. I looked and saw Inuyasha and his mother talking, but I couldn't hear them. I saw something that shocked me more than anything. There was a lake in front of them and their reflections were perfect except for her face, it was gone! I tried to get up but I couldn't move. What was happening?
