You'll have to keep reading to find out!

Chapter 35: Woah

I was sitting on a chair in my room getting ready for my 20-week ultrasound. Today I was going to get to see my baby and find if it's a he or she. Then Lenny and I can discuss the baby's name! Maybe we could do it during the honeymoon if we're not busy doing… other things. Also, our wedding is tomorrow! I'm so excited I can barely wait! Just think! Tomorrow I'll be Ronnie Lino. Tomorrow I'll be a different girl…

" Hello! This is the father I presume?" Dr. Swordfish asked as she swam in the room and passed us by to the ultrasound screen.

Lenny grabbed my fin and smiled proudly.

" I am so glad you could make it to this important visit! It is such a fantastic moment for the two of you to find out the gender of your baby." She continued to work on the computer.

I stared at Lenny. " We can't wait," I replied.

" Alright let's get started. This might be cold." She squirted some sort of cold paste on my stomach. It was cold but it wasn't bad. I was going to get to see my baby! " Okay…" She started moving the little knob around my belly, looking for a baby. " There's your baby."

And there my baby was. Right on that screen. It was clenching and unclenching its fist and kicking its feet around.

" Woah." Lenny was amazed.

" Do you wanna know the gender now?" Dr. Swordfish asked.

"Yes!" Both Lenny and I said together.

" Okay. It's a girl!"

" Oh… My little baby girl." Lenny held my stomach in his fins.

Tonight is my bachelor party! Tomorrow I won't be single! I'll be married! Oscar, some guys from the mob, and I are going to spend the night doing a whole bunch of different things I'm assuming. They made it a surprise for me.

I was swimming down the hallways with everyone helping me. I was blindfolded. I couldn't see where we were going.

" Alright, Len! Were here!" Cody shouted.

I took off the blindfold. I was floating in my office. (Pop's old office) " Why are we in here?" I was confused.

" Well, we planned a few things, but we figured we could all have a drink and smoke first before we go out because we're all old enough," Cody explained. I watched as Cody opened Pop's liquor cabinet and brought out the whiskey and shot glasses. Beads of sweat started popping up on my forehead.

Cody poured whiskey into the glass and handed it to me. " Mr. Bachelor is first since it's his party."

I took the glass. " Cody, you are aware that I've never drunk or smoked before right?" I said nervously.

" Well, yeah. That's sort of why we wanted to do this because it will be new for you." Cody explained a second time.

" Okay. Just promise if I do like it, you won't let me drink or smoke too much." I needed Cody to understand that. I couldn't go to my wedding drunk OR high.

" Yeah, man. Of course. We gotta keep you at your best for tomorrow." He patted me on the back. " Now c'mon. Take your first drink."

Now everyone was watching me. By now, Cody had also gotten out the cigars and set them on the table for after. I had to admit this was a little nerve-racking.

" Chug. Chug. Chug. Chug!" Everyone began chanting.

" Come on dude! You can do it!" Oscar shouted.

I quickly drank the whiskey. It was sweet, but it had a good twist to it. It kinda reminded me of cinnamon.

" So? Do you like it?" Cody asked.

" Yeah. It's pretty good. But that's all for me, thanks." I put my glass down and grabbed a cigar. I quickly lit it and put it up to my lips. I inhaled. Everyone gasped. I guess they thought I wouldn't get this far. My body immediately wanted whatever had just entered, to get out. I started coughing. I may have inhaled too much. I had to say I didn't like it very much.

I continued coughing as I put the cigar out and place it on the table. " Woah. *cough* That *cough* was *cough* awful." I couldn't stop coughing.

Everyone burst out laughing. Some of the guys reached out and grabbed a cigar. Oscar and Cody grabbed a shot glass. Oscar had brought his own. One his size.

I watched as everyone was having a pretty good time smoking or drinking and chatting up the place. I decided to have just one more glass of whiskey adn then we'd move on to whatever was next. I poured it myself and drank it down. It was nice.

I swam over to Cody and tapped him on the shoulder. " How many shots have you had?"

" Three. Why Mr. Coughy?" Cody replied. I could tell he was a little tipsy. He seemed pretty happy though. Oscar on the other hand was full-on drunk. I could see him going for another shot. " Oh, no, no, no, no. You do not need more whiskey. Have much had you drunk?" I was worried.

"That's none of your business! Now give me more whiskey!" Oscar screamed at me. Okay… Oscar seemed to be an angry drunk, but we'd have to keep him until Angie gets back from Ronnie's bachelorette party. I promised her I would watch him until it was time for them to go home.

" Hey Cody, do you think we could move on to the next thing?" I whispered to him.

" Yeah, sure. Let's go hunting! It's gonna be fun!" Cody shouted.

Hunting? I didn't have a problem with it, but Oscar was here…

" Hunting? I hope you don't expect me to be a part of it! I'm a fish! I'll just stay here with the whiskey!" Oscar quickly swam away from me towards the whiskey bottle and hugged it. Oh boy…

" Cody do you have any other plans?" I asked as I grabbed Oscar off the whiskey bottle and held him still. He wouldn't stop squirming in my fin, but he certainly couldn't get out of my grasp.

" Well, I had one other thing to do after. I was planning to take you to a Jackson Brothers concert." Cody smiled and rubbed the back of his neck. " I guess the secrets out now."

I gasped in shock. A Jackson Brothers concert? " Really?"

" Yeah. It starts soon so we've gotta hurry up if we don't wanna miss it." Cody replied. " Alright! Everyone! It's time to go to Jackson's concert!" Cody shouted to rile everyone up.

I was so excited! I can't believe they all did this. " Who planned this?" I asked as we began swimming outside to the concert hall. It was all the way out at the edge of the city.

" Well, we were going over ideas, and Oscar," he pointed towards the crazy nut that was in my fins, " suggested this concert."

I looked down at the blue-streaked cleaner wrasse in my fins and had the hugest smile on my face. I pulled Oscar up and gave him a hug.

"Yo! I CAN'T BREATHE… YOU BIG BELUGA!" Oscar screamed.

" Oh my gosh! I'm sorry!" I immediately let Oscar go.

After I let Oscar go I realized my mistake. Oscar began swimming past the concert hall and outsides the walls of Reef City. " Oscar! No! Get back here! You could get hurt!" Or worse… eaten.

" We've gotta go after him!" I said worriedly to Cody. I began swimming after Oscar. I was faster than him and much faster than the other sharks for that matter.

" But what about the concert. It's about to start." Cody reminded me.

" I think Oscar's life is more important than a concert," I replied a little upset that Cody was worried about the concert rather than my friend's safety. Although he wasn't really friends with Oscar…

I then darted after Oscar. I then realized that Oscar wasn't anywhere near me…. "Oscar!" I shouted out his name. " Oh no, no, no, no, no.' I began spiraling. What if he gets lost? What if he gets hurt and can't come back? What if he gets killed? What if he gets kidnapped? What if -?

My negative thoughts were shattered when I heard a familiar voice call out, " Hey, boys! I found you a snack!"

" Oscar!" I started swimming as my life depended on it towards the voice. I continued to swim towards three dark shadows outside of the city.

" Well, look who we have here. Lenny bear, we were just coming to visit you! I heard you were having a wedding tomorrow!" Carlotta's voice echoed through my head.

Once I got closer I could Carlotta floating in the middle with Oscar in her fins ready to feed him to Ace and Tex who were at her side.

" Boy have I missed you, Buddy! I can't believe you found a new girl already! Especially after your last one died!" Ace tried to shove it in.

" Ace maybe we shouldn't mess with him," Tex suggested.

" Shut up Tex!" Ace shot back.

Well, these two clearly haven't changed. " Don't call me buddy. I am warning you. The only people who called me that didn't live to tell the tale." I threatened.

" Oh! I'm so scared!" Ace made fun of me.

I gotta tell ya he was getting on my nerves. Breath. I needed to be calm about this. "Give me that fish. He's mine. I was after him first." I had to pretend I didn't know who he was. Maybe I could fight for him back.

" Oh? This little puny drunk?" Carlotta shook him. " Why? This is nothing compared to what else you could find in these waters." She crossed her fins.

" I just want him. Okay, now can I have him please?" I begged.

Carlotta must've realized that I really cared about "this little puny drunk" because she has a sudden smirk on her face. " He must really mean something to you huh?" Carlotta's smirk got bigger and she had a look in her eyes I knew too well. " Well, I'll give him back." She held Oscar out as if to let me grab him. I swam closer and reached out to grab him. Right as my fin was about to reach hers she yanked it back. I stopped. " But I want something first." She gave me an innocent smile.

" Of course, there's a catch. Just like your father I see. What do you want?" I said annoyed.

" I want a kiss." Carlotta batted her eyelashes.

" I'm-" I was about to go on a rant when she interrupted me.

" I'm not finished. I also want to be a bridesmaid at the wedding tomorrow."

That had me dumbstruck. " Carlotta, first I'm getting married tomorrow. I can't kiss you. I love Ronnie I can't cheat on her right before our wedding. Also, why would I trust you at my own wedding if I can't trust you in your own territory? You tried to get me killed multiple times and you shot me! And you killed my father!" I shouted at her.

" Woah. We're to go there, are we? Well, I could just…" Carlotta took Oscar and hovered him directly above Ace's jaws. Oscar immediately reacted by screaming at the top of his lungs." No!" Angie screamed.

" No! Wait! There has to be some other way! Please." I begged.

" Take it or leave it. Or small fry over here gets devoured." Carlotta explained.

How was I gonna get out of this one? I couldn't just swim up and grab him. I'd be too late. But I couldn't kiss Carlotta and let her come to my wedding either…

" Do it, Lenny. I know how much Oscar means to you. We'll be okay." Ronnie smiled. I turned towards her immediately when heard her voice. I saw Angie and the other sharkesses behind her. Carlotta saw her too. She was holding her belly. Protecting it was more like it.

" Well, well, well. If it isn't the other girl herself. And she's got a bun in the oven. Lenny, you've been very naughty I see. But why don't you listen to your little diamond over there and give me a kiss? A real kiss." Carlotta handed Oscar to Ace. " Don't eat him… yet."

" Ronnie are you sure about this?" I asked her worried.

She nodded.

Carlotta swam close to me and wrapped her fins around my neck. I was getting really uncomfortable with the proximity of how close we were. She was moving very slowly as to make me uncomfortable. She leaned up to kiss me and closed her eyes. She had to close the space between our lips because I didn't want to. Kissing Carlotta was nothing like kissing Ronnie. Kissing Carlotta was like kissing a brick-hard wall. And what's worse is Ronnie had to watch. I kept my eyes open, fearing that if I closed them I would have to think about what I was doing.

When Carlotta finally let go, I swam over to Oscar reaching for him. " Give him to me now. I did what she asked." I said forcefully.

Ace just smirked. " Ah, ah, ah. I believe she said a kiss and to be a bridesmaid at your wedding, Buddy." Ace held Oscar up as if to threaten me.

" So help me, if you don't stop calling me Buddy you'll end up just like the other two who called me that!" I threatened.

Ace pretended to cower. " Oh, I'm so scared."

" Don't worry Lenny you did as asked. I don't wanna be a part of your dumb wedding. I just wanted to the look on her face when I kissed you." Carlotta chuckled. She made a movement with fin, telling Ace to drop Oscar.

" Ugh. We never get to have any fun…" Ace threw Oscar, meaning for him to hit the sandy ground, but I swam quickly to catch and I reached him just before he hit the ground. I pulled Oscar close and gave him a quick once-over. He looked alright, but we'd have to see what the doctor says.

" Let's go boys. We'll find a meal elsewhere." Carlotta waved for them to follow her as she left the scene. Tex seemed relieved that nothing had happened, but Ace was about to burst with fury.

" Come on! Can't I get one hit in before we go?" Ace pleaded.

Carlotta rolled her eyes. " Must you always try to hurt someone everywhere we go? Be quick."

I quickly swam over to Ronnie. " Take Oscar and get the doctor to look at him, please. I don't want you here for this. You could get hurt."

She gave me a worried look. " Okay. Just… be careful. DON'T kill him, please. We do not need another murder on our hands." She smiled.

I gave her a kiss on the cheek. " I love -" Before I could finish the sentence I felt something jab me in the back of my neck. It didn't hurt, but it was enough to piss me off. I growled.

" Ace, I'm warning you now. Back off. If it weren't for Ronnie you wouldn't still be there. I'd have ripped you to bits by now and enjoying too, might I add. This is not the first time this has happened, but it will be the last. Now get out of here before something bad happens." I glared at him with the fire of a thousand suns.

Ace saw the look in my eyes and seemed to take the hint. He immediately swam back to the other two and they all swam away. I watched as Carlotta and Tex laughed at Ace for his cowardness against me.

I watched them leave to make sure they wouldn't follow us back home. Once they were but specks of dust in the ocean I swam back towards everyone. They had only gotten a few yards away. Once I caught up to Ronnie who was up in the front, I smiled at her.

" I'm assuming you're gonna want your friend back huh? He was asking for you." She chuckled.

I made a weird face. I grabbed Oscar out of her fins and held him in mine as we continued to swim towards the Ocean Liner. Oscar wasn't out, but I could see now that he wasn't fully drunk anymore but moving towards a hangover kind of mood.

He seemed tired, but he was shaking with fear, gripping onto my fin, as if his life depended on it. I was really worried about him. Maybe he could answer some questions now that the alcohol had passed a bit. Thank goodness it was only about 8'o clock. He shouldn't too bad in the morning. "Hey, Oscar are you alright?" I gave him a smile and held him close.

" Excuse me, please. Where is Oscar?" Angie was searching through the crowd of sharks.

" Ang, I've got him," I shouted. She immediately swam over to me. " Is he alright? Is he hurt?" Angie proceeded to look him over.

" I-I'm o-okay." Oscar managed to get out. " I-I'm just a l-little shocked is a-all." We had finally gotten to home when I realized that Oscar wasn't gonna get home on his own with just Angie to help him.

" Guys, you can all go do whatever. I'm gonna take Oscar and Angie home." Lenny said to everyone. They then preceded to get upset that they were missing out on this awesome concert they had planned.

" Lenny, man. I really wanted to see your face when we got in there. The other surprise was that the girls were gonna be there too. We figured you would have wanted to see each other again anyway." He looked down at the ground and began swimming inside.

" Hey, Cody. It's alright. It's the thought that counts." He smiled and waved and I watched as they all disappeared into the ship. Ronnie was the only one left outside.

" I guess I should get some sleep. Give me a kiss before you go off. I won't get to see you until tomorrow." She smiled and gave me a big kiss. " Be safe. Goodbye Angie! Get well Oscar!" She waved to them and swam inside. Man, I love that woman.

I swam with Oscar in my fins all the way to their apartment. Thank goodness it was dark out. Being exposed to bright lights was not a fun part of a hangover. " Do you need help getting him in there? I could reach in and place him on the couch." I suggested.

" No, but thanks, Len. You're a great friend you know that. I'm just glad he's safe." Angie picked Oscar up and carried him into the apartment. I smiled. " Goodnight," I whispered.

On my way back home I had some things to think about in this peaceful state of mind. First, I was getting married tomorrow. Second, I was gonna be a dad. Third, Carlotta would surely be back, but she's tamed for now and Ace will just be an annoyance. And lastly, I was gonna see my friends tomorrow! That's right! I get to see Jamel, Andre, C.J, and Rhea! I wonder if any of them have picked up anyone lately. It had only been about six months since I'd seen them all last. A lot could have changed since then. Maybe C.J. and Rhea have gotten together… It's so obvious that they like each other. God, I hate when that happens to characters in books or movies. It's like you just want them to confess so they can get together already.

Anyway… I got home and was swimming towards the guest bedroom. Ronnie was sleeping in the guest room for the night because … well because we're getting married and we can't see each other. I got to the door and said, " I love you." The quick response back was, " Get outta here. You'll see me tomorrow!" Then a laugh. I knew she wanted to see me too. I chuckled on the way back to my bedroom. I got into my bed under the covers, getting ready for a long night of not falling asleep. But to my surprise, I fell asleep quickly.

Ronnie's POV

I was all dressed up and ready to go for the wedding. I had flowers in my fin, my brother in the other. I was swimming down the aisle. I looked into the eyes of everyone I passed. Angie was there smiling wide at me. She was holding our rings. Shelly was next to her, and Rhea after that. They were all to the left. Then to the right on Lenny's side were Oscar, Jamel, Andre, and C.J. The rest of the mafia were spread out behind us. I was terrified and shaking, but as soon as my eyes were laid on Lenny it all went away. I had suddenly melted into this calm puddle. As I swam up to him I looked him straight in his green eyes. So kind and sincere. So beautiful.

"Woah" Lenny managed to gasp out.

Ricky was hesitant, but he let me go. I took his fin and one fin and the other fin in the other. We stared at each other, gazing into the other's eyes like they were a galaxy full of possibilities. As we began saying our vows to one another it just fell into place. Everything felt right once that ring was on my fin. I smiled, a few tears trailing down my cheeks.

" You may kiss the bride!"

" Oh, I will!" Lenny said in a very foxy way.

He grabbed my fin and scooped me up as if he was holding me from falling and kissed me, passionately. I wrapped fins around his neck. I heard the crowd cheering, but it all seemed to drown out when his lips were on mine. Once we let go, we laughed and clung to each other again.

" Alright, alright. You will have a whole honeymoon to do that!" Oscar shouted. Everyone laughed.

" Okay…" Lenny and I both said in unison.

XXXXXXXXXX

Everyone was in the dining hall now. It was turned into a ballroom of some sort. It was decorated with all these white streamers and beautiful red roses were set in the middle of every table. The music had come to a stop. Lenny and I were floating by the cake waiting for someone to announce it first.

" Gather round everyone! The newlyweds are going to cut the cake!" Shelly announced through the loudspeaker.

Everyone had crowded around ready for their slice of cake. The cake itself was huge. We were sure to have leftovers from it. It was all white and cover in coral decor, with little fish swimming around it. Lenny and I were on the top. I'm sure Lenny thought it was adorable. Lenny and I took the knife together and cut the first slice. As we handed them out to all the fish that had attended, Lenny finally gave me my slice. I pretended like I was eating the cake. I saw him grab his piece and get ready to take the first bite when…

BOOM! I shoved my piece of cake right in his face. I burst out laughing. Lenny hadn't even had time to comprehend what had just happened. His face was covered in cake. Once he realized what I had done, he grabbed his piece and smeared it on my head. Then everyone started laughing.

" Come on. Let's go get ourselves cleaned up." I grabbed his fin, swimming off to the bathroom hoping no one would notice, but obviously, I was getting ahead of myself, because someone would surely notice the bride and groom were missing.

" Hey, you two! Hurry back! You still have a song and dance to do!" C.J. called after us.

I just yanked Lenny out of the room, both of us laughing the whole time. Once we got to the bathroom. We wiped the cake and frosting off each other's faces.

We both looked in the full wall mirror. " It seems that you missed a spot." I smiled. I pointed to the corner of my lip.

He smiled and gave me a kiss and licked the frosting off. " There. All better. You ready for this?" He grabbed my fin.

" Hey. We made it this far. Might as well continue. I cannot believe we are married! Also, I can't wait to hear you sing." Then I swam off towards the dance floor. Everyone had clearly been waiting for us to hurry up. Lenny had followed right behind me.

He swam up and grabbed me from behind, and lifted me up. " Hey! No fair! You're too fast!" I smiled.

He put me back down and spun me around so that I was facing him.

" You guys ready?" Andre asked.

" I'm ready as I'll ever be," I answered.

We were going to dance first. I saw Ricky in front of the crowd. I remember the first time he saw us dance. That was just the beginning of our love and now here we were, married, and about to be parents. He watched us, happy. I was a little shocked to see him smiling at us.

The music began to play…

You're the light, you're the night

You're the color of my blood

You're the cure, you're the pain

You're the only thing I wanna touch

Never knew that it could mean so much, so much

Lenny and I just freestyled. Neither of us knew how to dance very well besides the other dance that we did and we even made a mistake on that one. Well, Lenny did. Lenny grabbed my fin, pulled it up, and then held the other fin in an attempt to dance with me correctly. He then corrected himself and put one fin on my waist.

You're the fear, I don't care

'Cause I've never been so high

Follow me through the dark

Let me take you past our satellites

You can see the world you brought to life, to life

I swam back as he swam forward, and vice versa. I put my fin upon his neck and the other on his upper arm. And we just danced like that in circles gazing at each other. I couldn't help, but think that he was just the perfect guy. Sure, he had his flaws but doesn't everyone. I laid my head down on his shoulder as if I were going to sleep there. It was comfortable and it felt safe. We just continued to sway as the song played.

So love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do

Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do

Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do

What are you waiting for?

Fading in, fading out

On the edge of paradise

Every inch of your skin, is a Holy Grail I've gotta find

Only you can set my heart on fire, on fire

Yeah, I'll let you set the pace

'Cause I'm not thinking straight

My head's spinning around, I can't see clear no more

Oh, what are you waiting for?

Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do

Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do

Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do, oh

What are you, what are you waiting for?

What are you waiting for?

Oh, I'll let you set the pace

Oh, 'cause I'm not thinking straight

Though my head's spinning around, I can't see clear no more

What are you waiting for?

Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do (Like you do, oh)

Oh, love me like you do

Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do, oh

Oh, what are you waiting for?

Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do (Like you do)

Lo-lo-love me like you do

Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do, oh

What are you, what are you waiting for?

(Love me like you do by Ellie Goulding)

As the song came to a close, we stopped, and everyone cheered. Though we had barely done anything. When I turned to look at Ricky he had the biggest smile on his face. He was truly happy for me. Suddenly, a microphone was shoved in front of me. I took it in my fin. Lenny took the other. I saw as Jamel swam away from us that he was a little scared Lenny would have done something to him for shoving it directly into my face. I just snickered as Lenny and I swam up to a stage where would sing for the audience. Sure, it was nerve-wracking, but at least I had my destiny right beside me. " What's funny?" Lenny asked.

" Nothing…" I smirked.

The song began to play and I began to sing at my cue. " You can be the peanut butter to my jelly, you can be the butterflies I feel in my belly. You can be the captain and I could be your first mate. You can be the chills that I feel on our first date."

Everything went dark and a huge light suddenly fell on Lenny as he began to sing…

He stared directly at me. " You can be the hero and I can be your sidekick. You can be the tear that I cry if we ever split. You can the rain from the clouds when it's stormin'. Or you can the sun when it shines in the morning."

In Unison: " Don't know if I ever could be without you, cause boy/girl you complete me. And in time I know that we'll both see that we're all we need. Cause you're the apple to my pie. You're the straw to my berry. You're the smoke to my high. And you're the one I'm gonna marry. Cause you're the one for me, for me. And I'm the one for you, for you. You take the both of us, of us. And we're the perfect two. We're the perfect two. We're the perfect two. Baby me and you. We're the perfect two."

Ronnie: " You can be the prince and I can be the princess. You can be the sweet tooth and I can be the dentist. You can be the shoes and I could be the laces. You could the hearts that I spill on the pages."

Lenny: " You can be the vodka and I can be the chaser. You can be the pencil and I can be the paper. You can be as cold as the winter weather, but I don't care as long as we're together."

Lenny: " You know that I'll never doubt ya. And you know that I think about ya. And you know that I can't live without ya."

Ronnie: " I love the way you smile. And maybe in just a while, I can see me swim down the aisle."

In Unison: " Cause you're the apple to my pie.

The song came to an end and we kissed each other passionately as everyone cheered. Hearing his voice was like water rolling off the surface of a leaf. It was so gentle and full of emotion. " I love you." we both said together.

Angie's POV

Oscar and I waved as Lenny and Ronnie swam away on a taxi whale, off to their honeymoon. I smiled. " That was so much fun!"

Oscar looked at me and smiled. " Yeah. It was great! Our little Lenny's all grown up." Oscar pretended to wipe fake tears from his eyes and laughed. " Yeah. I'm just glad he's happy." Oscar smiled.

We began to swim off to Rueben's apartment. I had to be honest I was a little nervous. We had been living with Rueben for a few months now and he hadn't spoken one word to us since it happened. I'm afraid he's going to do something because he won't want us living with him for much longer, and sleeping on the couch for both of us is very uncomfortable. Let's just say we haven't been getting the best sleep.

Oscar grabbed the keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door. Once he opened the door, we immediately knew something was wrong. It was quiet and none of the lights were on. It was about ten o'clock at night and Rueben could be sleeping, but he snored and there wasn't one sound coming out of the apartment. " Reuben?" I shouted. Oscar placed the keys on the kitchen counter and we began to search for him. " Oscar you check the bathroom. I'll go check his bedroom." We split up and searched for any traces of Rueben. If he wasn't here he would have at least left a note to let us know where he was and that he was okay.

He wasn't in his bedroom. His bed was made and everything had this eerie mood to it. Like something bad had happened or something bad was going to happen…

" Oscar? Did you find him?" I shouted as I swam out into the hallway. There was no answer. I was starting to get really worried now. And really scared. " Oscar?" I whispered. I swam into the bathroom and the window was open, with the wind blowing the curtains around. I looked out the window to see a storm brewing above the sea. I swam out to the living room, terrified. Something suddenly caught my eye.

There was a huge piece of paper stuck to the television screen. I swam over and grabbed the piece of paper. I couldn't open it and keep it open while reading it so I pushed the keys off the counter and placed it on the kitchen counter. I spread the paper out and scanned through it. It was a letter. I began to read it aloud.

Hello to whoever is reading this letter,

We have your friend with us and we may have also managed to get any other victims we could find. Don't worry they're safe. We'll just keep them with us until Lenny and Ronnie come back. I need Lenny for … something. And if I don't get well let's say you and your friends will be sushi by the time he says no…

Carlotta

I gasped. I suddenly felt hot air blow past me. I was scared to turn around, but I did anyway. Carlotta was at the open window in front of the living room. SHe back up so she could see me. She must have been smelling around and then she heard me. Oh boy, was I in for it now. When she got a full view of me, she made a wide smile.

" Well, well, well. It looks like there is another little fishy friend." She smirked. She reached through the window and tried to grab me. I swam around trying to find a way to escape. I knew that If I got out they would chase me and I would easily get caught, but if I stayed inside and didn't get snatched up, they'd tear down the building. I was dodging her fin and thinking when suddenly, someone screamed out.

" No! Leave Angie alone! Please! Just eat me!" Oscar shrieked. Oscar was willing to sacrifice his life for mine. Awww. I didn't realize it, but I had stopped moving. Carlotta finally found where I was hiding and quickly grabbed me and pulled me out. I was squirming like crazy trying to get out of her grasp, but it just ended up tiring me out. " Let me GO!" I screamed.

" Ah, ah, ah. If you make a big commotion outta this then I guess we'll have to just devour you and your friends now." Carlotta said innocently. That shut me up real quick. I saw Oscar and Rueben were being held captive by the other two.

" That's much better. Alright now that we've got you three, do any of you know where the newlywed are going for their honeymoon?" Carlotta asked politely.

" No. Even if we did we wouldn't tell you. You expect us to just turn on one of our best friends like that?" Oscar replied.

" Well, if your lives depended on it. Yes." Carlotta smirked. " But you clearly don't know, so maybe it's best we just hold you all captive until they come back. And any wrong moves from either of you and you'll be eaten in a split second."

Author's Note: So, what did you think? For the most part, this was a good chapter but that ending… Come on! I couldn't just have it be a sappy good story from then on. Some bad things still have to happen. And you all know that this story isn't a very happy story but you'll see once you read it that it is still pretty happy.
