For the last story of 2021, i bring you one more story with my OC character Amy Hudson., this time, taking place during a dream of christmas night.

CHRISTMAS DREAM

The snow was falling on the ground, making the park go white on that Christmas afternoon. Many family on DC were certainly making those last minute Christmas shopping, however, Sue decided to take her daughter to the park, so they could spend time together. They even had brought a rainier hat to Levi, but the dog tried to take it out.

''Stop Levi, you need to stay pretty to Christmas!'' the little girl giggled.

''Come on Levi, just for the picture, then you can get off of it.'' Sue smiled, adjusting the hat on the dog´s head.

''Mommy!'' Amy exclaimed grabbing her mother´s hand for attention. ''I´m glad you´re here, Daddy said you got hurt and needed to go away.'' The girl smiled and in response the mother give her a big hug.

''Daddy has just been silly, he knows I will never leave the both of you.''

''You promise?''

''I promise.'' Sue sign back and Amy mimic the sign.

''Mommy, you believe I went with Uncle Bobby to the restaurant and he eat an hamburger this big?'' Amy asked opening her little arms trying to show the size of the meal.

''Coming to Bobby, I believe everything, little one.'' Sue laughed when suddenly Levi appears and shake the snow on both of them.

''EW Levi!'' Amy giggled and ran after the dog, chasing and rolling on the snow with him. ''Mommy! Look!'' Amy called her mother who just smiled.

Sitting on the bench, Sue watched her daughter play. Amy had just turn 6-year old and had grown so big for just one year. She took a deep but sad breath, despite of wanting to stay with her little girl, she knew she couldn´t stay for much longer.

A while later than, after both the girl and the dog got tired from running around the park, Amy patted Levi´s head and suggest that they could call her mother to help them build a snow man. However, upon turn to the bench where her mother was sitting, Amy realized she wasn´t there.

''Levi where´s Mommy?'' Amy asked holding the dog´s leash tight. ''Lets go find Mommy…'' she said and they start to walk.

Another hour had passed and no sign of Sue, making Amy wanting to cry. to makes the matter worse, the little girl found out that she was alone in the park, just her and Levi, with no sign of anyone, turning the place super scary all of a sudden.

''Mommy… Mommy where are you?'' Amy cried. ''Mommy…''

''MOMMY…'' Jack jump out of the bed upon hearing his daughter crying on her room. Upon arriving there, he found the girl sitting on her bed, crying out loud for her mother, while Levi lied beside her, trying to calm her down by licking her.

''Amy, Amy sweetheart, what's the matter?'' the man rush to her and pick her up on his arms. ''Tell Daddy, what happened?'' he asked as she sobbed.

''Daddy, I was in the park with Mommy and Levi, he was wearing a reindeer hat, but didn´t want to wear…'' she start and Jack couldn´t help but chuckled. ''Then I was going to ask Mommy to help me build a snowman, but then she disappears, but she said that she didn´t left us and you were been silly.''

''Oh, well, maybe mommy is right then, she didn´t left, like I had thought.'' Jack said trying to make up a story.

''But you said she got hurt and God asked her to go with him. Where is she then?''

''Amy, mommy did get hurt and yes, God asked her to go with him, but it doesn´t mean we can´t talk to her,'' Jack tried to explain. ''Remember when Grandma teach you to pray?'' he asked and she nodded. ''Then, we can talk to her every time we pray and if you wave to her trough the window, I'm sure she will hear you.''

''But Daddy, how she will hear us?'' Amy asked.

''She can hear now, because when she met God, he fixed her ears, so she can hear us clearly now,'' Jack explain. ''Now, why not you go to sleep on my bed and tomorrow, we can open your Christmas gift?''

''Yay! Daddy, you think Santa brought my bike?'' Amy asked forgetting about the dream at all. ''Can I go open the gifts now?''

''I´m sure he brought your bike, but you will have to wait till tomorrow to open it.''

''Okay,'' she nodded. ''I will go to bathroom first… oh, good night Mommy, merry Christmas!'' she yelled waving to the window, before rush to the bathroom.

A couple of minutes later, Amy was ready to sleep again, so Jack picked her up on his arms and tuck her in on her mother´s side of the bed and lying down himself, he wrapped the little girl on his arms, making her feel warm and comfortable against his chest.

''Merry Christmas honey,'' he kissed the sleeping girl´s head. ''And Merry Christmas to you too Levi.'' Jack laughs once the dog hop on the bed and curled himself over their legs.

Suddenly, Levi raised his head and wag his tail haply, as a figure came close and scratch him behind his ear. He licked his nose as he tried to lick the woman´s hand, but then, she just approach the two sleeping humans and kissed him on their cheeks.

''Merry Christmas.'' It was Sue, who as promised, come back to give her family a kiss good night, like she did every night before disappearing.
