Kagome and I managed to run all the way to a construction site, the Youkai still following us slowly. Kagome rushed up the steps and I quickly caught up on her idea. The mask's body was large and pieced together from its victims. It wouldn't fit on the narrow steps we were rushing up. We ran up as quickly as we could and looked down at the large Youkai. I smiled down at the Youkai staring up at us.

"Finally, a bit of luck," I said before the mask stretched up to a piece of wood, bit it, and hoisted itself up to us.

"No way!" Kagome screamed as we ran from the large body about to squash us.

"Sankon Tetsusou!" I covered Kagome with by body as Inuyasha used his claws ripped through the Youkai above us. I looked up and smiled before seeing Sesshomaru standing in front of us. What was he doing here? Why did he travel here? How did he travel here?

"Well, looks like both of you are still in one piece," Inuyasha said drawing my attention behind him to see him holding onto Souta under his arm.

"Nee-chan! Amane-chan!"

"I... Inuyasha!" Kagome said happily staring up at our savior.

"Whaaa! You're okay!" Souta broke from Inuyasha's grip before running to us, tears running down his face like a waterfall. I smiled softly at him.

"Of course we are," I told him. "We knew you'd bring him here." But bringing Sesshomaru was a complete surprise to us.

"It's alright now, Souta," Kagome told him looking up at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha will save us!"

"Ye... yeah," Souta agreed. I stood up and looked up at Sesshomaru.

"Got to admit, I'm surprised you're here," I told him.

"I smelt your blood coming from the well. I followed it to the boy," he told me and I smiled.

"I'm not entirely unwilling to save you, but before that..." I looked back at Inuyasha who had his back to us. "For the other day, I want an apology!"

"Eh...?" Kagome asked confused.

"Please tell me you're joking," I sighed.

"What are you talking about?" Kagome finally asked him.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten!" he shouted at her. How do they get anything done? "First you selfishly drive me away then you dare ask me for help?"

"Good thing we don't need you now, isn't it?" I asked him and he glared at me.

"You really think that bastard is going to save you?" he asked me and it was my turn to glare.

"I had Souta call you here for help. Not to save us," I told him, crossing my arms.

"Umm... Did I hurt your feelings that much?" Kagome asked him.

"Bah! I'm just angry!" he shouted again moving his attention from me to her.

"Okay! I'll apologize!" Kagome told him. "Sorry. Sorry."

"Those two are a bit pathetic..." I sighed quietly standing next to Sesshomaru. The mask began to laugh before adjusting itself to stare at us.

"Damn you... how dare you do that to my body..."

"Keh. You're a creepy one, aren't you?" Inuyasha said. "What kind of hell monster are you anyway?"

"Inuyasha, the Youkai's true self is in that Noh Mask and it's got a Shikon fragment in its forehead," Kagome told him.

"You're half right," I told her. "The Noh Mask is the youkai."

"I am the adhering mask..." it said. "Several centuries ago, I was carved from the Judas tree pierced with a fragment of the Shikon No Tama. Since then, I've wanted a body of my own, and I've consumed the living flesh of human beings. But these human bodies, they break so easily. To create the perfect body, I must collect the Shikon No Tama." It turned its eyes to Kagome and I moved to her placing her behind me slightly. "This is why... Those jewels in your hand... Give them to me!"

"Keh! I don't know how many people you've eaten up 'til now, but you're too damn fat!" Inuyasha attacked the mask and the mask stretched itself away from the body and towards him. "I will eat you too!"

"Let's see you try!" Inuyasha once again went to split the youkai in two, but it was split straight down the middle of its face by a golden whip, and the two sides plopped to the ground and I made a face.

"What the hell Sesshomaru?!" Inuyasha shouted turning to his brother.

"You were taking too long."

"That seemed too easy..." I mumbled before Sesshomaru moved closer to me. The only element around for me to call on was air so I had to be careful. Air was useful in its ways, but mostly as a last resort defense, but it wasn't as strong as earth. It had very few attacks, none that would help in this situation though. We watched as one side of the beast started to move making Inuyasha turn to it.

"You won't get away!" The other side tried to join with itself and he moved away from the two halves but not in time to keep himself from getting bitten by it. Half of his arm was inside that things face.

"Idiot... you fell in my trap so easily."
