Steve got back from his run and saw the kids quietly listening to Tony. He started walking towards them when he felt someone grabbing his arm and pulling him in the room next door. It was Nat. They were alone so Steve leaned in for a kiss.
Nat: "Steve, we need to talk."
Steve: "Sure honey"
Nat: "Don't call me like that while we're here, what if someone hears you ?"
Steve: "Sorry. What do you want to talk about ?"
Nat: "Ok, two things."
Steve: "I'm listening..."
Nat: "First: I'm taking the kids out after lunch"
Steve: "Sure, what's thing number 2 ?"
Nat: "Did you know they couldn't get hurt ?"
Steve: "What ? How did you find out something like that ?"
Nat: "Ok so you didn't. Well, Charlie almost got stabbed during training"
Steve: "Omg ! What in the world happened ? Is he ok ?
Nat: "Yes, that's the point he didn't even get cut though the knife clearly stabbed him..."
Steve was still a bit confused. But he was kinda released knowing that no one would be able to hurt his babies. He kissed Nat again, before walking out of the room. Nat went out a bit later and joined Bucky to let him know that Steve knew about the training accident and that he wasn't mad.
