Steve met Bucky at the jewelry store. They started looking for engagement rings but Steve didn't find any that pleased him. He wanted it to be perfect, just as the proposal. They got out and went to a few more jewelries.
Bucky: "Man, I get that you want to find the perfect ring, but you're gonna have to choose one 'cause we've already been to 5 different stores and... "
Steve: "And no ring was good enough. I need it to be perfect."
They entered another jewelry store. Steve and Bucky started looking at the rings, then a young lady came from the back of the store. She started talking to Bucky.
Lady: "Hello gentleman, how can I help you ?"
Bucky: "Just trying to help my man over there 'cause he can't decide on what he wants."
Steve: "That's not it... You don't get it. I need THE ring, any ring just won't work."
Lady: "I might be able to help with that, just tell me how that ring would be, don't describe it, just tell me what it means..."
Steve: "I need a ring that's quite simple, she doesn't like big pieces of jewelry in general, but I want it to be sophisticated enough to show her how much I love her. We have been together for a really long time and I want something special, so she doesn't feel like the ring is just because people usually propose with a ring I want it to mean something for us..."
Lady: "I see, you really are in love aren't you ? Well, I might just have a few rings that match that description"
She went to the back of the store to get a box with a few other rings. While Bucky kept laughing at Steve for how cheese he sounded. When the lady opened the box Steve immediately saw the prefect ring. In between ten others, he could only see that one. It was a bit expensive but he knew it was with it.
Bucky: "Do you know her size ?"
Steve: "OMG Bucky ! Of course I know her size ! I wouldn't have come here without knowing. I'm not that dumb !"
Bucky: "Just checking."
The lady gave the ring to an old man and told the boys it would be resized in a few hours. So they got out of the shop. Steve called Wanda to see if Nat was suspicious and to see if she could keep her busy a few hours more, just enough for him to come back home.
