Thor walked in the kitchen, he stopped, and walked slowly out seeing that Nat and Steve hadn't noticed him. He still felt uncomfortable when they were kissing and didn't want to interrupt.

Steve and Nat were supposed to be going through some wedding details, but they had taken a break and Steve was now standing in between Nat's legs, who was still sitting on the kitchen counter. They were just happily kissing, softly, romantically. Anyone who would see them could tell they were completely in love with each other. The world around them disappeared, they were so caught up in the moment that they didn't notice Tony walking in.

Tony: "Oh God ! You guys literally have a room for this. I can't believe that you're doing it on the kitchen counter."

Steve: "Sorry, you're right. We do have a room for this."

Nat: *smirking* "STEVE !"

He laughed, pulled her closer, and lifted her up on his shoulder. Then he walked away, carrying her to their bedroom. In the hallway they came across Bucky and the twins.

Bucky: "Hey Steve..." *confused* "...and Nat"

Steve: "Hey guys."

Charlie: "Dad can we go out to the park with uncle Bucky ?"

Lexi: "We wanna play ball."

Steve: "Sure ! Have fun kids."

Bucky: "You too I guess. *to the kids* "Are they always like that ?"

Twins: "Pretty much...all the time."

The twins quickly put their sports shoes on, grabbed a ball and left with Bucky, while Steve kept walking with Nat up his shoulder to their room. Obviously, Wanda didn't miss the opportunity of taking a great picture of them.

Steve closed the door before playfully tossing Nat on the bed. He climbed on top of her and started kissing her, slowly romantically, letting his hands wander, discovering all over again Nat's body. She played a bit with his hair, ran her hand on his beard, and then slowly caressed every inch of his muscular back. Their kissing became more passionate, faster as they started undressing each other. When suddenly, Vision came through the wall.

Vision: "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."

Steve: *covering Nat* "Vision, get out of here."

Vision: "Mr. Stark demands Miss Romanoff's presence in the conference room."

Nat: "I'll be right there."

Vision: "Again I'm sorry. I'll leave now."

Steve: "Hey Vision, next time, knock on the door first."

Vision: "I will."

Vision left, using the door and Steve and Nat bursted out in laughter. She took a few seconds to admire his naked chest, before putting on a shirt and leaving Steve, giving him only a last quick kiss on her way out. He watched her walk away with a small smirk on his face.

Steve: "Hey just so you know, we ain't done yet. We are restarting this right where we left it as soon as you get back."

Nat: "Mhmh, I was planning on it."

Her flirty personality had always made him laugh. That was one of the many things that he loved about her, and one of the many reasons he had fallen for her. She knew that, and she didn't bother using it at her advantage whenever she felt like it.

When she came back to their bedroom Steve immediately picked her up and spun her around, before slowly putting her down as he kissed her sweetly.

Steve: *smirking* "So... Where were we ?"

Nat: *serious* "Steve."

Steve: "What's wrong honey ?"

Nat: "I have to leave."

Steve: "What ?"

She explained that Fury was sending her on a reasonably easy mission with Clint, Sam and a few agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and that she was leaving immediately. He was quite in shock because he didn't expect this to happen two weeks before the wedding. He kissed her, and stared at her for a bit with a sad look on his face. But he knew she had no choice, he knew she loved her job, and it wasn't fair to selfishly keep her away from that.

Steve: "How long ?"

Nat: "It should be less than a week."

Steve: "Just be safe, please."

Nat: "I'll be back with no scratches."

Steve: "I take that as a promise."

Nat: "I meant it as a promise."

Steve: "I love you so much."

Nat: "I love you too."

She quickly grabbed the backpack she always kept ready just in case and kissed him passionately a last time before leaving. She hated that she didn't even have the chance to say goodbye to the twins but she couldn't wait around until they came back from the park.

Steve sat on the edge of the bed, with his elbows planted in his knees, resting his head on his hands, just thinking for a while. He went downstairs a little later and grabbed his folder again. He looked at the wedding invitations they were discussing about before, grabbed the ones Natasha liked and decidedly, he wrote on them the date of the wedding, the place and who they were addressed to.

Wanda walked in and sat beside him. She knew it would be easier to get him to share some pictures of the couple and the kids at that moment, when he was vulnerably missing her. She was secretly working on a surprise wedding video for them. But she needed more pictures because she only had the ones she took in the past few weeks.

Wanda: "Hey Steve ! What are you up to ?"

Steve: "Just, wedding things. Why ?"

Wanda: "Where is Nat ?"

Steve: "She left for a mission. Do you need something ?"

Wanda: "No. Do you miss her already."

Steve: "I missed her from the moment she said she had to leave."

Wanda: "You guys are so cute."

Steve: "You should see her with the twins, she is such a great mom."

Wanda: "I've never thought she could be a mom, I mean she is pretty tough you know... Plus, I thought she couldn't have children."

Steve: "Guess supersoldier's serum helped with that part. And she is really sweet. She just hides it well. But don't tell her I said that."

Wanda: "I won't."

After a bit of small talk, she managed to get him to show her pictures of them together, of the pregnancy stage, of them with the babies... Steve even cried a bit when he saw the ultrasound picture again. He showed her every single picture he had, and as the old man he is, all of those were kept on a cute album photo.

Steve: "Hey, while you're here... What do you think about these ?"

Wanda: "Are those the wedding invitations ?"

Steve: "Yes, how does it look ?"

Wanda: "Did you write it ?"

Steve: "Yes, why ?"

Wanda: "It looks amazing Cap. You have beautiful handwriting."

Steve: "That's what Nat says."

Wanda: "When did Nat say that ?"

Steve: "Like every single time I write a love letter for her."

Wanda: "Aww, you're so cute... It's too much. I can't handle both of you."

Steve: "But does it look good ?"

Wanda: "Yes, don't worry."

Steve: "I just want it to be perfect."

Wanda: "It is."

Bucky and the twins were back. The kids ran to their father, pretty excited to tell him about their little time out. Bucky looked exhausted. Though no one would blame him, it's not easy to keep up with two ten years olds who have a weird combination of Black Widow's serum and Captain America's supersoldier serum. Actually they had never been easy to keep up with.

Tony: "Hey, sorry to crush the mood but Fury just called..."

Steve: "Is everything alright ? You don't look yourself Stark."

Tony: "Nat asked for help on her mission right before he lost communication."

Steve: "We're going to help her, right now. Everyone... Suit up."

Tony: "All of us ?"

Steve: "YES ! My future wife is in danger, I am not just gonna sit around knowing I can help."

Tony: "What about the kids ?"

Twins: "We can come and help !"

Steve: "No. I'll drop them at Strange's place."
