Nat entered the twins' bedroom. She opened the curtains, and woke them up by kissing their foreheads. They smiled seeing her and literally jumped out of bed when she told them their father was cooking breakfast. She laughed, she didn't usually show her emotions, but she was very sensitive whenever it came to her kids. Both of them. She loved them so much. And she was so happy that she would marry their father soon. Something about making this family official made her feel just as excited as she was scared.

The three of them went downstairs to find everyone gathering around the kitchen counter. Steve's pancakes were famous by now, at least for the Avengers, so everytime he made them, they would all assemble to eat.

Steve: "Morning sweetheart, morning little man. How did you sleep ?"

Twins: "Morning dad !"

Bucky: "Morning kids !"

Twins: "Morning uncle Bucky !"

They first hugged their dad, and then went over to Bucky. He kissed Charlie on the forehead and sat Lexi on his lap, kissing her sweetly on the cheek.

Tony: "Oh, How cute ! Uncle metal arm has turned into a sweet guy... "

Bucky: "I have always been a sweet guy, The Winter Soldier wasn't me."

Tony: "Yeah, yeah, we know."

Steve placed two plates with pancakes in front of the twins and then turned back to cooking some more for Nat and for himself. Natasha went behind him, wrapped her arms around him, under his arms, and grabbed onto his chest while placing a soft peck on his muscular back, before resting her head against it. Of course Wanda had to take a picture.

Tony: "Why do you keep taking pictures of them ? It's not like they are the cutest couple... I mean Papper and I are here too."

Wanda: "I can do whatever I want Tony."

They all laughed. As soon as Steve was done with the pancakes, he turned around. Nat lifted her arms up around his neck and he placed his hands on her waist before leaning in for a romantic kiss. They sat down with the rest of the group and ate breakfast.

Dr. Strange had stayed the night. He needed to talk to Steve and Nat about the twins, or more likely show them something. After breakfast everyone went minding their own business but Strange who went to find the twins and their parents. They all head out to the training room.

Strange: "Ok, so I don't know if you noticed but your kids can interact with the stones."

Steve: "Well we knew about the mind stone but..."

Nat: "Wait you said stones ? You think they can interact with all the stones ?"

Strange: "Let me show you something."

He stepped forward and turned to face Nat and Steve. He gestured his hands indicating to Charlie and Lexi to stand by his side. Then he put the mirror dimension around all of them so the twins wouldn't mess up with the universe because of course they didn't fully control everything they did. Then, he put an apple in front of him and crossed his arms.

Nat: "An apple ? That's what you need to show us ?"

Steve:"You're worried about the apple thing, what about the weird thing that is surrounding us ?!"

Strange:"The thing around us means that whatever happens in here won't affect the real world. And no, it's not the apple."

He stood, still crossing his arms and told the twins to show their parents what they had practiced while they were gone. The twins got closer to him, their eyes changing to green and with a synchronised movement the apple got eaten by nothing. Then, with a second movement, the apple came back to its original form.

It wouldn't be enough to say that Nat and Steve were shocked. The twins stepped back, their eyes changed back to their usual color and Strange broke the mirror dimension.

Charlie: "Isn't it super cool dad !"

Lexi:"It is, right mom ?"

Steve:"How is that even possible ?!"

Nat:"Yeah, babies, it's great."

They did freak out a bit but Strange told them they could come to him for advice whenever they needed it and then did the sparkling thing that he does all the time and disappeared.

Steve, Nat and the twins got out of the training room in silence. They didn't really know what to say. Charlie went over to Bruce and Tony because they had promised him they'll show him some equipment that they use to create gears and suits among other things. Nat decided that she was going to talk to Wanda and Pepper and maybe join Hope and Maria for a girl's day that was planned before she left for the mission. So Steve decided to take Lexi for some father-daughter time.
