A.N. : Hi ! I know that I was supposed to update this yesterday. I had no idea I would be having classes on a Saturday, but it turns out that my teachers don't know what week-end means. So, as promised here's a little bonding time between Steve and Lexi. I hope you'll enjoy it !

Meanwhile, Steve decided to do something with his daughter as they hadn't spent much time together, only the two of them, since they first set foot in the compound. He knocked on the twins' bedroom before opening the door. He saw Lexi sitting there in silence, playing with a few toys.

Steve: "Hey princess, where's your brother ?"

Lexi: "He is with uncle Tony in the lab."

Steve: "Well, do you want to do something with me ?"

Lexi: "Just the two of us ?"

Steve: "Yes, just the two of us."

Lexi: *excited* "Yeah !"

She got up and ran to her father before jumping into his arms, locking her arms around his neck. He pulled her in for a long hug while he sat down on the ground, placing her on his lap, and gently stroking her hair.

Steve: "Ok, so what do you want to do princess ?"

Lexi: "Can we watch a Disney movie ?"

Steve: "Do you also want to build a fort with pillows and bedsheets to get confi for the movie ?"

Lexi: "Really ?"

Steve: "Of course !"

Lexi: "Ok, where do we put it ?"

Steve: "What about right there in between the two beds, so we can use them as a support ?"

Lexi: "That's the perfect spot dad !"

They both assembled a huge amount of pillows and started working together to place everything perfectly for their fort. Then, they tossed a few bed sheets over the beds to cover the pillows and create the fort. When it was done, they placed a few colored lights around it for a magical atmosphere (Lexi's idea, of course) and Steve grabbed his laptop and a few snacks while Lexi grabbed two blankets and they cuddled up inside the fort to watch a movie. When the movie ended, Steve turned off his laptop and put it away as Lexi watched him with a little sad face and big puppy eyes.

Lexi: "Do you have to go back to work now ?"

Steve: "No, this afternoon it's just you and me."

Lexi: "Really ?!"

Steve: "Yeah, so what do we do next ?"

Lexi: "We can have a tea party !"

Steve: "Of course."

She ran out of the pillow fort and quickly sat her dolls and stuffed animals around a small toy table and served some imaginary tea in the fake cups. She then, motioned her hand to signal to her father where he should sit. He did as his daughter told him to and sat with the rest of the stuffed animals. Lexi grabbed some cheap makeup and began drawing on her father's face.

Steve: "Is that really necessary, sweetheart ?"

Lexi: "Of course ! You have to fit in with the others, you're already too big so you have to look cuter !"

Steve: "Of course, we wouldn't want them to look better than us, right ?"

With those words he grabbed the lipstick that Lexi was using to put a cat's moustache on his face and drew a little heart on her cheek.

Steve: "Well I'm done with your makeup."

Lexi: "Already ?!"

Steve: "Well, you're already cute so there wasn't too much work."

He smiled and she blushed a little and giggled at his words. Then she made the introductions and told his father all of her doll's names and presented him to all her toys as the "best daddy in the world".

Vision, who had been sent from Wanda to spy on the Captain while she was having a girl's night, snapped a few pictures of the two of them in the pillow fort and during the tea party. He was actually quite amused by the looks of the muscular and tall captain sitting on a chair way too small for him with a cat's face drawn on his face and holding a plastic cup of tea, again way too small for him. Of course, he snapped a picture of Steve's face as well: it was too funny not to have something to share with the rest of the team.

Once Vision left, Steve had an amazing idea. It was starting to be late and he had really enjoyed the evening with his daughter, he didn't really want to leave her.

Steve: "Hey princess, I have an idea."

Lexi: "What is it dad ?"

Steve: "Do you want to help me cook dinner ?"

Lexi: "What's for dinner ?"

Steve: "Umm, What about... Pizza !"

Lexi: "Yeah !"

Steve: "Oh, I know what pizza we're gonna make..."

Lexi: "Which one ?"

Steve: "Barbecue !"

Lexi: "Yay ! That's my favourite !'

Steve: "I know princess, I know."

Lexi ran to the kitchen, her father following close behind. Of course, both were so excited to be making pizza together that they didn't even wash their faces.

Steve gave his daughter a little notebook and told her to look for the pizza recipe.

Steve: "Ok, first, read what ingredients we need for the pizza dough."

Lexi: "Ok, we need flour, salt, sugar, yeast and water."

Steve: "Great, we have all of that ! What do we need for the top ?"

Lexi: "Tomatoes, cheese, onions, mushrooms, bacon minced meat and the sauce."

Steve: "Well, we have everything we need so let's do this."

As her father told her, Lexi put down the recipe and washed her hands before they both started to cook.
