Charlie walked through the door of the lab, where Bruce and Tony were having a heated argument. From the door frame he didn't understand what it was about, and when he came in, they both stopped talking and walked towards him in a welcoming manner.
Tony almost immediately put his arm around Charlie's shoulders, gently pushing him inside the lab, and directing him like that the way he wanted to go.
For a few minutes, Tony and Charlie just walked all around the lab, while the latter took in the incredible amount of information that was given to him. He was a pretty smart kid, just as his sister, and he shared the same excitement over the new technological projects as Tony did.
Later in the evening, after Bruce tried to explain to Charlie a few things about gamma radiation, Tony thought his working project on new suits might interest the young boy more than Bruce's explanations. Indeed, Charlie was fascinated by all the work Tony was putting on his new iron-man suits, but also by how invested the latter was in the improvement of the suits of his fellow Avengers.
Tony: "Hey kid come over here, I wanna show you something." *gestures over another room*
Charlie: *already walking towards him* "What is it, Uncle Tony ?"
Tony: *shows him two suits* "I wanna get your opinion on these."
Charlie: "I think you should put more blue, dad likes it better when there's more blue."
Tony: "Ok, I will . What about the other one."
Charlie: "I think it's perfect. Mom will love it."
Tony: "Yeah, I did a pretty good job."
Charlie: "Uncle Tony ? When we're older and we have our parents' permission to fight with the Avengers, will you make us a suit ?"
Tony: "You mean you and your sister ? Yes of course ! I will even let you help me design it. What do you think ?"
Charlie: *excited* "Really ?! Yay !"
The visit of the immense lab kept going for a while, and Tony was really invested in teaching to the new generations the greatness of his talents in technology. Bruce would eventually add a few technical terms to the explanations Tony was giving the child and eventually would start on something more complicated before being rudely interrupted by Tony. But Charlie couldn't get enough of it. He looked everywhere with amazement taking in both of the men's words. He kept asking questions trying to understand how every little piece of equipment worked and was more than happy to see those parts of the lab he had never seen before. Of course, it wasn't the first time that he went to the lab as some of Tony's classes had been given there but they usually stayed in the first part of the lab, Which was closer to the common rooms that the Avengers shared. Although, this time, he was really taking in how big the lab was and how many great projects Tony and Bruce had started and completed.
