The three walked back out of the conference room when the emotional moment passed. Yelena was ecstatic to meet the rest of her sister's family. Little did she know that that family wasn't only the team. She had no idea Natasha had had children, supposedly she couldn't. So, when, at the moment they entered the common room, Charlie and Lexi ran up to Natasha, really excited, Yelena was surprised not only by the fact that there were children in the compound, but because they were calling Natasha: mom.

Twins: "Mom !"

Nat: "Aren't you two supposed to be in bed ?"

Charlie: "Lexi had a nightmare and she woke me up."

Lexi: "And now we can't sleep."

Yelena: "Wait, mom ?"

Nat: "Let me put those two to bed and I'll explain everything."

Steve: "Natasha honey, why don't I put the twins to bed, I'm sure you have a lot of catching up to do with your sister."

As soon as he said that the twins jumped in his arms and he carried them back to their bedroom to tuck them in. Meanwhile, Yelena was eager to hear everything that had changed in her sister's life since the last time they had seen each other.

Yelena: "So, the supersoldier got you pregnant !"

Nat: "Yelena, please."

Yelena: "What ! It's true."

Nat: "I know it's true but it's weird when you say it like that."

Yelena: "I thought that was impossible for black widows."

Nat: "Well, I thought too. I don't know how it happened."

Yelena: "Oh ! So they're an accident !"

Nat: "They're the best thing that ever happened to me !"

Yelena: "Ew ! You're going soft !"

Nat: "Shut up !"

They two sisters kept talking for a while, but soon, some of the Avengers that were on a mission started coming into the common room.

Tony: "Who is this ?"

Nat: "Everyone, this is my sister, Yelena."

Yelena: "Hello Avengers."

Sam: "Oh so Cap managed to find her !"

Nat: "You knew ?"

Sam: "Well, someone had to turn on the computer for him."

Tony: "Ok, first the kids, now a sister, is there any more family that we don't know of !"

Clint: "Come on ! I didn't know you had a sister and you were the first one to know about my family ! How is that fair ! I'm hurt !"

Steve came back into the room. He ignored his teammates' complaints about Nat's sister and walked over to his soon-to-be wife, only to drag her away from there and into their bedroom. He hugged her from behind, nuzzling his head in her neck before whispering in her ear.

Steve: "Just so you know, the surprise isn't finished. I just got confirmation that it will arrive tomorrow morning."

Nat: "Steve ! You didn't have to. Having my sister here for my wedding is already enough."

Steve: "I know I didn't have to, but I wanted to. And I'm positive you'll love it."

Nat: "I love you."

Steve: "I love you too."

After that, with content smiles on their faces they slowly drifted off to a comfortable, restful sleep. Even Natasha, whose mind couldn't help but wonder what would be Steve's surprise. She knew him quite well, and she knew his surprises were always in crescendo. She felt very curious as to what could possibly be better than having her sister present at her wedding.
