Sorry if I took way long like other authors when it comes to crossovers like these, but when you have finals, you don't have time, but now, I am free from all that! Free from school! Freedom! Now that I have, enjoy the next chapter, but first, the disclaimer.

Ride 2: A City Targeted by Darkness! A Mighty Warrior Rises! Give Me A Break!
(One Year Ago)
"Hey… Hey… Hey!" Dai groaned as he heard a voice trying to wake him up. Not only that, but someone kept shaking him. Judging from the voice, it was a female. "Hey! Are you alright?"
Dai groaned again before he slowly opened his eyes and the first thing his blurry vision saw was ginger colored hair.
"Ah! Tou-san, Kaa-san, he's waking up!" The voice said as Dai slowly got up and shook his head as his vision started to clear. Once it did, he looks and finally sees the girl who was trying to wake him up.
It was a girl who was younger than him, probably by one year if he had to guess, with short, ginger hair and has light brown eyes. Currently, she was wearing an outfit consisting of a pink, zipped vest jacket with a white and red shirt underneath, a grey skirt, yellow and orange socks, blue and white sneakers and a black wristband on her right wrist.
"You're awake, thank goodness." The girl said as two more people came.
The first was a fairly handsome man with brown hair and eyes. Next to him was his wife, Dai guessed, with the same colored hair and eyes as her husband. Looking down, he saw a third person, a kid who couldn't have been more than 8 years old.
"Where…Where am I?" Was the first thing Dai asked as he blinked and slowly got up, but soon regretted it when a stinging pain flowed from his abdomen.
"Whoa there, easy now." The father said, worried for Dai. "You're at the park. We found you lying on the ground, unconscious. Are you alright?"
"I'm okay." Dai said as he finally stood up and looked at himself. He still has his clothes, except his hoodie and shirt were torn around his abdomen as if someone ripped it apart. Not only that, but his abdomen was slightly red, like it had suffered a bad case of sunburn. It even sung when he touched it.
"Are you sure you're alright? That looks painful." The mother said, worry in her eyes.
"It's nothing, don't worry." Dai said as he looked around and like the father said, he was in a park. A few benches were seen here and there as well as some vending machines and a small playground for kids to play at.
'Hmm, strange. I don't remember a park like this being in Akihabara.' Dai thought as he rubbed his head in confusion as he had been to every park in Akihabara. Maybe it's new?
"Um…" Dai turned to the girl who looked nervous. "If it's not too much to ask, where are you from? You don't look like you're from around here."
"I get that a lot." Dai said and it was true. Dai sort of looked plain compared to all the otakus and maids and business men walking around the streets of Akihabara. You would think he'd be carrying anything that might have told people he was an otaku, but he wasn't one. He didn't have any shirts that depicted any famous anime/manga characters, no accessories on him from famous animes/manga, no backpacks filled with posters, nothing. He didn't even act like one, but like Dai said, he wasn't an otaku. He likes to consider himself a mild fan of things.
"I live at an orphanage. If you can point me to the nearest train station that be great." Dai said.
"Orphanage? You're an orphan?" The girl asked, surprised.
Dai nodded. "Yeah, but it's no big deal. I live with my oji-san who's in charge of the orphanage."
"I see." The father said before pointing to a direction. "Well, the nearest train station is that way. Do you need money?"
"I'm good." Dai said as he took out his uncle's credit card…shit, he forgot to return it.
'Oji-san is going to be pissed when I get back.' Dai thought as he took off running, waving at the family before continuing on his way to the train station.
(One Year Later)
It was currently night time. Most lights were out in homes as lights in business buildings and restaurants that are open 24 hours were still lit, but the sound of sirens and the blinding red and blue lights of police cars would have caught anyone's attention.
Policemen and detectives were scatted all over the amusement park, the place where Dai and the girls had fought not too long ago. A local policeman had been patrolling when he heard the commotion and made the call. By the time the policemen got there, Dai and the others were already gone as the signs of their fight were all that remained. Even the remains of the Spider Grongi were splattered all over which made a few rookie officers lose their lunch, er, dinner in this case.
"Hmm…" One of the many police inspectors examined the remains of the Grongi closely, gloves to keep his hands dirty and to make sure he didn't leave fingerprints. Since he wasn't bothered by the fact that he was holding what could have been squishy guts, this wasn't the first time he'd seen a bloody mess meaning he had experience under his belt.
"Geez…" Another inspector walked up to him and lit himself a cigarette. The man was older that the one who was inspecting the Grongi remains, probably in his mid 30's. His hair was a black mess like he had just gotten out of bed, a goatee, and green eyes. He wore a trench coat to keep him warm in the cold night despite it not being that cold out tonight.
He blew out smoke before he looked at the inspector next to him and the piece of the Grongi he had in his hands. "It's that thing, isn't? The thing that's been terrorizing Nagano for a while now?"
The man said as he held up a bag of webbing. "The webbing matches with the one we've collected in the past. No doubt about it, it was him."
Said man was in his mid twenties. He had combed hair and square rimmed glasses over his blue eyes as he too wore a trench coat.
"The guy's caused enough trouble in Nagano. What the hell could he have been doing all the way out here?" The older inspector wondered as he looked around. He used to be stationed at Nagano, but was later transferred a week ago along with the guy next to him and from what he learned in this city; it's that it was surprisingly peaceful. Then again, the place he used to work at had been in chaos for the past month so who was he to judge?
"What I want to know is who could have done this to him." The younger inspector said as he looked at the Grongi remain before looking up to see a few more remains of the Grongi. "Guns had no affect on him that last time we checked."
"Maybe someone blew him up with a rocket. I mean, look at the scorch marks on the ground. A huge sign of an explosion." The older inspector said, gesturing to the spot where the Spider Grongi blew up.
"Then how do you explain this?" The younger inspector said as he pointed to a burnt footprint on the ground followed by others behind and above it.
"You got me. All I can say is that whoever did this to it couldn't have been human."
"You mean you think we have another Unidentified Life Form on our hands?"
"It's a guess, but one I highly think is possible, Ichijo." The older inspector said as he blew out another puff of smoke before he dropped the cig to the ground and stomped on it, extinguishing it. "For now, let get whatever is left and send it over to forensics, see what they can do with it."
The young inspector, Ichijo Ryō, nodded as he got up and went with the other inspector in search for more clues around the park.
(Insert STRIKE BACK by BACK-ON)
(Instrumental) The song starts as the camera rises up to show the legs of Kuuga before we get a sudden screen shot of Cure Black and Cure White before go back to Kuuga. Just as the camera is at the Arcle, we get a sudden shot of Mepple and Mipple before the camera gets to his chest. We then get another sudden shot of The PreCure cards surrounding Gouram before we go back to Kuuga whos's back was facing the camera. He then suddenly turns around and punches the screen, cracking it as the title appears.
(Kidou sura kaerarenai kurai no kakuritsu da to shite mo) We now see Nagisa playing lacrosse with her team, catching a ball as Mepple is seen sleeping from Nagisa's bag.
(IPAASENTO demo areba mochiron teikou desho?) We then see Honoka with the members of the science club, doing an experiment that ended in an explosion as Mipple just giggles at the scene.
(Shosen, "unmei" to nagetsukerareta tte, No I won't!) We go to the city where police are examining a dead body. Ryō looks at the body before he walks away and gets out his phone, calling Dai.
(Hikkuri kaeshite, Because datte kimi to mirai wo miretara saikou janai?) Dai, riding on the TryChaser 2000, gets the call from his radio and speeds up, passing both Nagisa and Honoka as he races to meet up with Ryō.
(Bring it on! 'Cuz I'm just gonna grow up in the battle HEY! buchinuku donten!) Suddenly, the sky turns dark before the Dark King and his subordinates appears as well as an army of Zakenna appeared. Appearing with him was a shadow figure of N-Daguva-Zeba along with an army of Grongi.
(Still burning my fire ten wo kirsaku raimei I gotta kakikesu Nightmare tada mirai ga mitakute!) Nagisa and Honoka step in fear before Dai suddenly appeared behind them and gave them his signature smile and a thumbs up.
(Kako, mirai, soshite ikiteru ima, I ain't scared of my past and now for takusareta asu) Seeing his smile seemed to steel the girl's resolve as they took out the Queen PreCure and Dai summoned the Arcle belt.
(Screaming out for my pride!) A light then suddenly appears and appearing from it was Kamen Rider Kuuga along with Cure Black and Cure White, ready for battle.
(Namida mitakunai kara, sakebi tsudzukeru yo! Zutto...) Cure Black and Cure White engage a battle with some Zakenna before taking on Pisard, IIkubo, Poisony, Kiriya, and Gekidrago.
(I'm never falling down! oi kaze wo se ni fukitobasu Destiny!) Both sides trade blows for a bit before both girls held hands and fired their signature Marble Screw.
(Kono senaka ni aru, egao mamoritai kara! Zutto...) We see Kuuga kicking way a few Grongi, bashes them with the Dragon Rod while in his Dragon form, shoots a flying Grongi with his Pegasus Bowgun in his Pegasus form, slash a few more Grongi with his Titan Sword in his Titan form.
(I gotta blast off your pain for you and me! kanashimi nante Rest in peace!) Dai and the girls meet regroup as they face both the Dark King and N-Daguva-Zeba. Dai charges up a Mighty Kick before he jumps.
(Nando demo...) The girl then threw another Marble Screw as Dai kicks towards the two beings of darkness with the Marble Screw following close behind him before a light overtakes everything and we see a quick look at the blue sky before the song ends.
(Dark Zone)
A complete storm of darkness. That was one way one could have described the place Pisard was at right now. Ominous mist covered the ground as storms raged in the sky as chains seemed to fall from the heavens and connect with the ground.
"Dark King-sama…" Pisard said the name in the tone of one matching a loyal soldier. In front of him, or rather, towering over him was a being completely made out of darkness. His figure was one of man as his red, glowing eyes could almost make anything freeze with horror and fear. This was the Dark King, leader of the Dark Zone.
"I have found the two who have escaped from the Garden of Light." Pisard said, kneeling before the great being in front of him.
"I see…" The dark being spoke in a voice full of power. "Then why do you not have the Prism Stones?"
"Well, that's because…" Pisard began, thinking back to his fight with the Pretty Cures and the Kamen Rider. "I ran into some unexpected interference."
"I do not want to hear such excuses!" Pisard flinched as he began to sweat. "Five of the seven Stones are already in our possession. Pisard, your mission is to take the two Stones in which they ran away with."
"I understand that, my lord." Pisard said, bowing.
"In order to survive, I need the power which comes from having all the Prism Stones. When those seven stones come together, I will become immortal! Only then will my Dark Zone cover the entire universe. Every single place will be dominated by us! Now go, Pisard. For our future!"
"Yes! I will not fail!" Pisard said before he took his leave.
Once Pisard was gone, the Dark King directed his attention to someone else. He couldn't make out his appearance as he was hidden by shadows, but he already knew who it was.
"What is it that you wish to speak with me, Daguva?"
The figure known as Daguva smiled as he crossed his arms. "You know why I'm here. You felt it, didn't you? A sudden burst of darkness as well as Gumun's death."
"Indeed I have." While the Dark King would normally speak in a tone and voice that made one think that he was the top of the food chain, the person who he was speaking with was no normal 'man.' He knew full well what he was capable of from the first time they met.
"It's him." Daguva said, still smiling. "Kuuga…has been revived. Looks like the Gegeru will be highly amusing this time around."
"You told me that he would be the key in summoning the ultimate darkness. You never told me how, exactly."
"Sorry, but that's for you to figure out."
The Dark King growled in rage, but refrained as he knew the man he stared down at could easily match him blow for blow, power to power, even in the state he was in currently.
"I should go. I must get things ready for the Gegeru and tell everyone about Kuuga. I bid you ado, Dark King." Daguva said as he took his leave, letting out a laugh that would have sent a million chills down anyone's spine.
(With Dai)
We find our newly turned Kamen Rider hero staring into space, going back to the events of last night.
'I transformed. I became Kuuga. I actually became Kamen Rider Kuuga.'
"Ichi-san."
'Not only that, but the girls also transformed too, Cure Black and Cure White as they liked to call themselves.'
"Ichi-san."
'Who was that man last night? How did he turn that roller coaster into a monster? And how does he know about the Grongi?'
"ICHI-SAN!"
"Huh!?" Dai jumped in surprise, snapping out of his thoughts as he finally remembered that he was in class.
"So glad you can finally join us." The teacher said. "You look like you have a lot on your mind. Care to share it with the class?"
"Hmm…I would like to, but you guys wouldn't believe me." Dai said, actually deciding whether or not to tell everyone what happened.
"Oh really? Try us." The teacher said as everyone in the class turned to Dai.
Not even nervous with everyone staring at him, Dai began. "Well, something crazy happened to me last night. I went to an amusement park and was suddenly attacked by a crazy albino man," Somewhere, Pisard sneezed, "I was with Nagisa-chan and Honoka-chan and suddenly, they transformed and not long after that, I transformed too. Crazy, right?"
"…Do you need to go to the nurse's office?" The teacher asked after blinking a few times.
"No need, I'm perfectly fine." Dai said with his happy go lucky smile.
"Right…Well, anyway…" As if used to Dai's absurdity, the teacher focused on getting back to the main topic, which was math class.
"You have some of the craziest dreams, you know that?" Shougo said to his friend who simple smiled at him before focusing on the lessons.
(City)
As usual, while students were in school, the streets of the city were packed with people going on with their daily lives, most of them heading off to work. Unknown to them, Pisard was looking down on all of them on top of one of the many buildings.
"What is this energy?" Pisard thought out loud as he looked down at everything. "Individually, their power is small, but this power is created everywhere. Not only that, but innumerable amounts of happiness and sadness, even anger hatred twists into an overflowing vortex of power. It's like a kind of giant blast furnace of fiery power." He then smiled evilly. "It seems I can give a nice gift to Dark King-sama."
And with that, he began to search for anything in the city that will help him in little mission.
(Hours Later, After School)
"I got a text from Honoka-chan." Dai said as he and Nagisa were walking back to their apartment. "She wants us to meet in the science club room after school to discuss about last night's events."
Upon bringing up the event, Nagisa groaned. "Can we not talk about that? I'd like to forget about what happened."
"But you can't, can you?" Nagisa groaning was all the answer Dai needed.
"Ah!" It was then that Dai remembered something. "There's a sale going on today. Gomen, Nagisa-chan, but you go on home without me." And with that, he took off running to the grocery store. Dai lived all alone in his apartment and thus had to do everything from paying the bills and working at a small job. He worked in weekends as school days were packed with studying and preparations for any soccer games.
Night had fallen by the time he made it to the store and brought what he needed for the next week. Smiling in satisfaction, he left the store and was about to cross the road when a police car zoomed past him as if it was in a hurry.
"That guy's driving fast. Where's he off too in such a rush?" Dai wondered until he heard it in the distance. Sirens. And sirens mean only one thing. Trouble. And where's their trouble, Dai will follow.
(Police)
Police screamed as one of their own was thrown back at them.
"Hey! Are you alright!?" One officer asked, but the dead officer did not reply, his neck bleeding as two bite marks could be seen as if he were attacked by a vampire.
In fact, the one who attacked him could be considered a vampire in a sense. Standing on top of one of the buildings looking down at the officers was a being crossed between a man and a bat. Its skin was muddy brown. Cloth was wrapped around its legs as a loincloth covered its lower body. Its arms were that of bat wings as its head was that of a bat itself. This was the Bat Grongi, Zu-Gooma-Gu.
Gooma smiled sadistically as he stared down at the cops below. Frightened by his appearance and what he did earlier, the cops opened fired, but they had no affects as Gooma jumped, swooped down, and knocked down the policemen before flying up in the air.
More police cars arrived as more officers and none other than Ichijo Ryō stepped out and went to their comrades.
"Run! Hurry and run!" Ryō told the fallen men. Doing as they told, the still alive policemen retreated with the new officers helping them as Ryō was left alone to deal with the Grongi. He unloaded bullets at the Grongi, but some either missed or had no effect at all. Ryō could only curse. "Damn!"
In the background, Dai finally arrived at the scene and gasped at what he saw. Dead policemen on the floor and the Bat Grongi.
"Zu-Gooma-Gu!" Now seeing the threat, Dai tossed away his bag and summoned the Arcle belt. He then crossed his arms in front of him with one hand over the belt and the other extended out with his thumb, index, and middle finger were out. He then slowly moved both hands over to their opposite side and shouted the famous word of every Kamen Rider.
"Henshin!" With that said, Dai charged towards Gooma, passing by Ryō who was surprised to see him.
"Hey! What are you doing!? Get away! It's dangerous!" But those words never reached Dai's ears as he punched Gooma in the chest, sending the Grongi skidding back a bit who was surprised at Dai's strength. Not letting up, Dai went and knee rushed him in the face, punched him in the gut, spun around to give him an elbow strike, and finished it off with a strong back kick before quickly turning around as Dai's armor finally finished equipping.
"Kuuga!?" Gooma said in surprise.
"What the!? He…changed?" Ryō said.
"Yosh!" Dai said…until he saw that his armor was still white. "Eh? I'm still in Growing form? But I summoned the belt and did the hand motions and everything."
"Kuuga! So the rumors of you being here were true!"
Putting the question of why he was still in Growing form and not the desired Mighty form aside, Dai raised his hands to fight. "That's right, Zu-Gooma-Gu, I'm here. I may not know how you're here, but you've taken your last life tonight!"
'There I go again with the Grongi language. I'll worry about it later.' Dai thought before he engaged the Grongi in battle.
Dai threw a punch at Gooma's chest and then his gut, making the Grongi stumble back. Angry, Gooma fought back, swinging his arm to claw at Dai, but he brought up his arm and blocked the attack before he pushed the arm back and punched Goom'a face and spun to give him a spinning back heel kick or a wheel kick as some would call it. Gooma fell down to the ground, but soon got back up.
'Looks like this guys more sturdier that Gumun. My attacks look like they barely have an effect.' Da thought as he thought up of a different battle plan.
But before he could do that, Gooma suddenly jumped and took to the air and attacked Dai from above. Unprepared, Dai was stuck and hit the ground. He got back up only to be attacked from behind, making him stumble forward as Gooma landed in front of him and swiped his face. Thankfully, the helmet protected him as he rolled back to Ryō.
Ryō wanted to ask Dai if he was okay, but set his attention back at Gooma and opened fired. But like last time, the bullets had no effect.
"Damn! Doesn't this thing have any kind of weakness!?" What Ryō said made something click in Dai's head.
'Weakness…Of course! How could I have forgotten!?' With a new plan in mind, Dai quickly got up and went to one of the police cars.
"Hey! What are you doing!?" Ryō shouted as Dai got in the nearest car and quickly turned on the headlights. The effects were just as he hoped for.
"GYAH! Too…bright!" Spreading his wings, Gooma quickly took to the skies and flew away, disappearing into the night sky.
Dai breathed out a sigh of relief and stepped out of the car only to be greeted with the sight of Ryō pointing his gun at him.
"Whoa!" On instinct, Dai raised his hands into the air in surrender. He may be in armor that could withstand a bullet, but the natural human instinct was afraid of getting shot by a gun.
"Who are you? How did you do all that?" Ryō questioned as he slowly advanced towards Dai who in turn slowly backed away.
"Hehehe, well, um…" Dai had never been in this kind of situation before so he didn't know what to say. So he did the next best thing. He grabbed the bag he had thrown away and ran. "Sorry, gotta go!"
"Ah! Stop!" But before Ryō could even fire his gun, Dai jumped up high onto the roof of another building and ran for it. "Tch! Who was that guy?" Ryo wondered as he put away his gun and went back to his car. Well, even if he hadn't gotten his name, he got his face and like any good policemen, he had some investigating to do.
(The Next Day, After School)
"Eh? You mean one of those things appeared last night? And you fought it? With the police around?" Nagisa asked after being told by Dai what had happened last night.
Dai nodded. "Hai. I stepped in without thinking when I saw how much trouble the police were having."
"I was wondering why you returned so late." Nagisa said before looking at a strange contraption. Vials and vials were all connected all containing light magenta colored liquid inside. "By the way, what is this?"
"Looks like another one of Honoka's experiments." Dai guessed as he looked at it with Nagisa. A few minutes later, Honoka appeared in a lab coat.
"Sorry for keeping you two waiting."
"It's no problem." Nagisa said before asking, "By the way, did you make this, Yukishiro-san?"
"Yes. It's my proud accomplishment." Honoka said.
"What does it do?" Dai asked.
"Here, I'll show you." Honoka said as she poured sugared water into one of the vials. The liquid inside started to bubble a bit before suddenly, steam came bursting out from one of the tubes.
"Is this safe?" Nagisa asked, a bit worried.
"Yes." Was all Honoka said before a single solidified piece of hard candy fell onto a platter. "See! It made candy!"
"Getting so excited over just one candy?" Nagisa asked as Dai took the piece and popped it into his mouth.
"Hmm…I taste grape and…cherry." Dai said as he sucked on the hard candy.
Suddenly, the whole thing started to shake, startling the three.
"What the!?"
"Get down!" Dai shouted as all three of them hit the floor and then…
*Boom!*
The whole thing cracked and fell apart.
"Oh man…" Honoka said. "I have to rebuild it again."
"Again?" Nagisa asked, asking if something like this happened before.
Despite the sudden danger, Dai laughed. "Once again, Honoka-chan, your experiments explode."
"Hey, that is nothing to laugh about." Honoka said as she started to clean up.
After one clean up later, the three can finally talk.
"Mipple is somewhere near-mepo!" Mepple suddenly popped out and assumed his full form. "Where is Mipple-mepo?"
"She's taking a little nap right now." Honoka said.
"Eh~? And I took all the trouble of changing forms." Mepple said before he went back to his cell phone form. "I wasted energy and tired myself out-mepo."
"You must really want to see Mipple, huh?" Honoka asked.
"Is this what they call a 'long distance relationship?'" Nagisa asked/joked before looking at Mepple. "Look, I'll be in trouble if you start in class or in public like last time."
"What happened?" Dai asked.
"Mepple suddenly spoke during class and I almost freaked out." Nagisa explained. "If only there was a way I could keep him quiet during classes."
"Did you try using the Onemu card?" Honoka asked.
"Onemu?" Both Dai and Nagisa asked in confusion.
"The Onemu card. It puts them to sleep if you use it." Honoka explained. "It's the one with the sleeping baby on it."
"No!" Mepple tried to get away, but Dai stopped him by grabbing him and handed him to Nagisa who soon found the card she was looking for. "No! I don't want to go to sleep yet!"
"Be quiet!" Nagisa said as she quickly scanned the card and then, a bubble appeared from Mepple, depicting him trying to sleep accompanied by the creature from the card.
Dai stared in wonder at the little bubble and was tempted to pop it, but didn't get the chance as it soon popped. Looking, Nagisa and Dai saw Mepple fast asleep.
"Wow, he really fell asleep." Nagisa said.
"At school let's have them sleep, okay?" Honoka said.
"I agree." Nagisa said as she put Mepple away in the strap.
"So, you wanted to talk to me about what happened yesterday night?" Honoka said, bring up the main topic of why they were here in the first place.
"Yeah. Truth is, I don't want to do this anymore." Nagisa confessed. "My mom and dad would never believe me even if I told them and I can't take of this little guy."
"I see." Honoka said.
"What do you think, Honoka-chan?" Dai asked his friend.
"Well, to be honest, I think this is a gift given to me by fate."
"Eh?" Nagisa said. "Are you seriously thinking that we should join together and protect the peace of the Earth or something?"
"No, no. I'm not saying anything that big." Honoka said. "But, it sounds kind of interesting!"
"We were almost killed last time, you know."
"Things like that sound kind of interesting too!"
"Gah! I just don't get you!" Nagisa said, scratching her head in annoyance.
"That's Honoka-chan for you." Dai said with a small laugh.
"Look, the last time, we managed somehow, but if another monster like before appears and goes 'Bang!', we might not survive next time!" Nagisa said.
"But we're not alone. We have Dai to help us." Honoka said .
In response, Dai gave them a smile and a thumbs up.
"And you!" Dai jumped a little when Nagisa pointed at him. "What happened to you last time? You punched that guy and you suddenly transformed like one of those heroes on TV. What was that?"
"That, Nagisa-chan, was Kuuga." Dai said.
"Kuuga?" Nagisa and Honoka repeated in confusion.
Dai nodded and was about to explain when suddenly…
*CRASH!*
A soccer ball suddenly appeared and crashed through the window, surprising the three as brown glass fell and barely missed them.
"What the heck!?" Nagisa said.
"It came from that group of boys." Honoka said, looking outside to see the soccer club.
"It's the guys from the soccer club." Nagisa said before she realized something and turned to Dai. "Wait, you're in the soccer club. Why aren't you down there?"
"I skipped practice today to come here." Dai explained.
"Well, I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind!" Nagisa said as she ran out of the room with the ball in hand.
"I better go after her." Dai said, following after Nagisa. "I apologize as one of the soccer club members."
"It's okay." Honoka said before Dai quickly followed Nagisa.
"Hey, guys! Where are you aiming at!?" Nagisa said as she finally arrived at the field with Dai close behind.
"Sorry about that. Was anyone hurt?" Shougo asked, making Nagisa suddenly freeze up.
"Its okay, Shougo. No one was hurt." Dai said to his friend. "Let me guess, it was one of your special kicks again, wasn't it?"
"You got that right." Kimata said. "Sorry about that. C'mon, Fujipi, apologize."
"My bad. You sure no one was hurt?" Shougo asked.
"One one was hurt, Shougo." Dai said before noticing Nagisa's face was a bit red. "Nagisa? Are you alright?"
"Huh!?" snapping out of it, Nagisa handed back the ball and said, "Please be more careful next time."
"Huh?" Dai watched in confusion as Shougo took back the ball and Nagisa just walked away with a red face. "Wasn't Nagisa about to give them a piece of her mind?"
"A friend of yours, Dai?" Kimata asked.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. She's Misumi Nagisa, my next door neighbor. She's on the lacrosse team here." Dai said. "Sorry I couldn't make it to practice today. I had something else to do."
"It's fine." Shougo said. "A day without you won't hurt our performance. In fact, it gives us all a chance to catch up to you."
"Heh. Well, good luck trying." Dai said.
"Ichi Dai?" A voice called out from behind him.
"Hm?" Dai turned and froze when the person behind him was none other than Ryō.
"You're Ichi Dai, right?" Ryō asked again.
"H-Hai…"
"I'm Ichijo Ryō from the police department. I was hoping you could come with me to answer a few questions."
"S-Sure…" Dai said as he followed Ryō to his car with everyone watching. Dai got into the car and they soon drove off.
'Wait a minute. Did he just say his last name is Ichijo?' Dai thought as he finally realized what Ryō's last name is.
With the girls, they both stared wide eyed as they watched Dai get taken away.
'Dai-kun's/Ichi-kun's been taken by the police!' Both girls thought in panic.
(Police Department, Questioning Room)
"Ichi Dai, 15 years old, born in Akihabara, January 10, 1989, student at Verone Academy and member of the soccer club, and was under the care of the Misumi family for a short time." Ryō read off Dai's profile as said man was sitting right across from him.
Dai didn't speak a word, too nervous at the moment, but that nervousness was outmatched to his curiosity as he stared at Ryō.
'He said his name was Ichijo. Does that mean he's this world's version of Ichijo Kaoru?'
Ryō threw the portfolio and looked directly at Dai who sat straight up when he was being looked at.
"I'll get straight to the point. What are you?"
"I'm human." Dai answered immediately.
"Really? Because after what I saw last night, I'm inclined to disagree." Ryō said. "You knew what that monster was, you transformed right before my eyes, and you spoke whatever weird language that thing spoke."
"But it's the truth." Dai said. "I don't know how I spoke its language, but I'm telling you the truth when I say I'm human."
"Then explain how you knew what that thing was." Ryō demanded.
'Shit. What should I say? I can't say that I know about the Grongi by watching a television series.' Dai thought until he had an idea. "Research. I've researched their kind for a while now."
"Kind? You mean these monsters are a species?" Ryō asked and Dai nodded.
"They're known as the Grongi clan, an ancient tribe of beings who can turn into monsters. I know this sounds crazy, but you experienced it firsthand yourself, didn't you?"
'He's got me there.' Ryō thought. "Okay, then how do you know all this when a group of archaeologists just found an ancient nest of them three weeks ago?"
"I'm sorry…but I can't answer that."
Ryō grunted in frustration before he adjusted his glasses, calming down. Dai was a kid in his eyes as he was an adult. He had to restrain himself. "Okay then, then answer me this. Why are you fighting these things?"
"Eh?"
"These monsters are dangerous and a kid like you shouldn't be going up against these things all alone like what you did last time." Ryō said. "So why did are you fighting these things?"
"Well, I don't really have a reason to fight these guys." Dai admitted.
"Then why did you fight the one last night?"
"Because I saw you guys were in trouble."
"That's it? Because we were in trouble that you helped us with the goodness of your heart?" Ryō did not like that answer. Shaking his head, Ryō got up and grabbed his trench coat before leaving the room.
"Huh? Ichijo-san?" Confused, Dai got up and followed the police inspector. "Ichijo-san, where are you going?"
"It's none of your business." Ryō as he reached the elevator and hit the bottom to go down.
"Are you going to go look for the Grongi?" Dai asked. "Look, not to offend you, but you can't beat it."
Ryō's expression was unreadable. It was so unreadable that even Dai couldn't figure out what Ryō was thinking until Ryō suddenly grabbed Dai by the collar of his uniform and lifted him up.
"Now listen here, kid. I don't care if we can't beat that monster or not. It's a policeman's duty to protect the people! Someone with half-hearted whims such as yourself has no obligations to protect the people! So stay out of it!"
By the time Ryō finished talking, the elevator finally arrived and he finally let Dai down before he entered the elevator, clicked on his desired level, and the doors closed, leaving Dai all alone.
"…Half-hearted whims?" Dai repeated to himself.
(With Pisard)
"How about this one sir? With its power, it could even pick up a flea from a mat or carpet." A store clerk suggested to a human disguised Pisard. He had been going around for the perfect item he could use to steal the energy of the city. And it seems he's finally found what he's been looking for.
"So, how about it…" One look through Pisard's eyes seemed to make the store clerk go into a daze as he handed Pisard the vacuum cleaner without even asking for the pay. "That you very much…"
Pisard just smirked as he took the cleaner and left the store and up to the roof where he got rid of his disguise.
"Pretty soon, the show will begin." Pisard said before he waved his arm. "Zakenna! Heart of darkness, make them understand the horror of the dark power!"
Like the last time he fought, black clouds formed in the air and the dark spirits known as Zakenna appeared from the sky and dived into the vacuum cleaner.
"Arise, Zakenna!"
"ZAKENNA!" Standing before Pisard was what could only be explained a vacuum monster. The container was enlarged as the sucker now had teeth.
"Now, suck every last drop of energy from this city!" Pisard ordered and the Zakenna obeyed.
(With Nagisa)
Nagisa hugged a stuffed animal as she stared out her window balcony, thinking about Dai.
"I hope he's okay…" Nagisa said to herself.
"I'm sure he's fine-mepo." Mepple said. "By the way…"
"Hm?"
"What's your relationship with Dai-mepo?" Mepple asked, curious. He had been surprised when Dai had jumped over to Nagisa's balcony from next door this morning. Not only that, but that…dark aura he and Mipple felt…Just thinking about it gave him the shivers. Dai seemed like a nice guy, but Mepple barely knows the guy so he can't place his judgment on him yet.
"Dai? Well..." Nagisa thought to herself one where she should begin. "Dai's…a bit of a mystery to be honest."
"A mystery-mepo?"
Nagisa nodded. "It was a year ago when I met him. I was at the park with my family, when I spotted someone of the ground, unconscious. I went to see if that person was alright and that person was none other than Dai. According to him, he lived in Akihabara, living and working at his uncle's orphanage, but he later found out that said orphanage wasn't there, as if it never existed in the first place. I was coming back from school when I learned and feeling bad for him, I offered him a place to stay at my place and before I knew it, we were taking care of him until he gathered enough money and rented an apartment room next door. Now he just comes over to either to eat breakfast, hang out, play with Ryota, help me study, and etc. Other than that, he takes care of himself."
"I see-mepo."
"Anyway, don't you think it's time you told me about where you came from?" Nagisa asked. "Not that I care or anything, but something tells me that you'll turn into a crybaby again if I don't listen."
"Very well, I shall tell you my story of my homeland-mepo." Mepple said. "The place where me and Mipple lived was called the Garden of Light-mepo."
"Garden of Light?"
Mepple nodded. "It was a beautiful place. The flowers were always in bloom there, the people were all full of bravery, hope, and justice in their hearts, and they had been living happily for a very long time-mepo." Mepple's face then went grim as if remembering a bad memory. "But then one day, dark things suddenly appeared out of nowhere and began to devour the Garden of Light-mepo. They were from the Dark Zone. The queen and the elders were afraid of being consumed by the Dark Zone. Therefore, they gave the Prism Stones to Mipple, the Princess of Hope, and me, the chosen hero, in order that we could escape-mepo."
(With Honoka)
"Prism Stone?" Honoka repeated, also being told the same story by Mipple at her place.
"They are the stones of life. Both me and Mepple have one-mipo." Mipple explained. "And the people from the Dark Zone are after it, thus why they want me and Mepple-mipo."
"What kind of stones are these Prism Stones?" Honoka asked, curious.
Bu suddenly…
"Honoka,' the voice of her grandmother made Honoka jump as Mipple quickly jumped into Honoka's hands and she quickly hid her.
"What is it, Obāchama?" Honoka asked as she turned in time for the doors to open for Sanae to look.
"Honoka, who were you just talking to just now?"
"Uh, nobody. I was just talking to myself."
Sanae laughed a bit. "I see, I see. Anyway, Honoka, did you go into the storage shed in the yard recently?"
"N-No, not at all."
"I see, I see." Sanae said again. "Then there's no problem. Maybe I should go check and see how your grandpa's old bike is doing?" And with that, she closed the door and left.
Honoka sighed in relief, glad that she was in the clear.
"Honoka…"
"What is it?" Honoka looked towards the princess of hope.
"I've been meaning to ask, but what is your relationship with that boy-mipo?"
"You mean Dai?" Honoka asked and Mipple nodded. "Well, he's a friend of mine. I met him one day when some guys wouldn't leave me alone. When one of them reached to grab me, Dai suddenly appeared and beat them all which surprised me since they were all older than him. I asked him his name and asked how he did that and he replied with his name and said, 'I work out a lot,' followed by a smile and a thumbs up. It's his thing. Why do you ask?"
"Nothing. Just curious-mipo."
(With Dai)
"Half-hearted…" Dai muttered to himself as he walked alone the side walk, thinking about what Ryō said to himself back at the station. He didn't think there were things he could do half-heartedly, but he guessed he was just proven wrong. When he thought about it, the only reason why he fought was because he wanted to help and knew how dangerous the Grongi were if left alone. He thought that those reason were enough to maybe access Kuuga's real power, but he guessed wrong when he found himself still white.
"What should I do?" Dai thought out loud as he looked up into the blue sky. He always did this whenever he was lost and didn't know what to do. He knew perfectly well how dangerous the Grongi were. The numbers the Grongi killed in the TV series was so big that it was uncountable. Only he had the power to fight them off, but Growing form would not help him in the long run.
"Hey, did you hear?"
Dai came to a stop when he overheard some people talking. It was two women talking just outside of a house with a moving truck driven next to the side walk as people were loading stuff into the back.
"Both the mom and dad were killed last night."
"I heard the killer was some sort of vampire monster."
'Gooma…' Dai instantly knew what the two women were talking about. Crying then reached his ear and he turned to the house where two girls exited it. The one crying was a girl who couldn't have more than 6 years older and her older sister, the same age as Nagisa and Honoka Dai guessed, was trying her best to comfort the girl as the two entered a car.
"Poor girls. They're all alone now. Who will take care of them?"
"Relatives maybe? They'll be transferred to an orphanage until someone can take care of them."
Dai drowned out the conversation the two women were having as he watched the girls drove away with a man. Dai's focus was mostly on the crying girl and suddenly, he was brought back to the past.
(Flashback, 10 years ago)
A crying Dai's tears mixed in with the rain as he and his uncle stared at the remains of a crumbled up ruins, flowers placed alone with two pictures of a man who looked like Dai except he was older, and a woman with chestnut hair, blue eyes, and a beautiful smile.
Gou placed a hand on Dai's shoulder and said, "Let's go home, Dai."
(Flashback End)
Dai clenched his hands so hard that he almost drew blood.
'Kids her age should be smiling, not crying!' Dai shouted in his head.
Suddenly, all the lights went out. No, literally, ALL the lights when out. From buildings to traffic lights, and even vehicle lights when out.
"What in the world?" Dai said before the sky above him changed to a mark darker shade. He recognized this phenomenon. Back at the amusement park. "It's that man again." Dai soon ran off in search for the one responsible for this.
(Somewhere else)
Zu-Gooma-Gu slept upside down, resting from his last night's battle with Dai. His attacks didn't do much to him, but those damn lights nearly blinded him. He swore when the night came that he would hunt for him. And if he didn't fine him, he could draw him out.
Suddenly, he sensed something. Something in the air had changed. Opening his eyes, he stopped hanging upside down from the ceiling and went to the window to see that the sun was blocked as well as the city lights leaving a partially darken city.
Zu-Gooma-Gu smiled. There was no way he would pass up a chance like this. He jumped through the window and transformed into his monster form, taking flight.
(With Ryō)
"Dammit, why won't you move?" Ryō said as he tried everything, but his car would not move. He had been out patrolling and was gonna meet up with someone who claimed to see a monster, he had a hunch that he was talking about the bat monster last night, and was driving when suddenly his car stopped moving and he luckily didn't crash. But now he was having trouble moving and the honking of the horns that stilled worked didn't help one bit.
*FLAP-FLAP!*
"Hm?" Looking though his window, he caught sight of something flying and saw none other than Gooma. "Unidentified Life Form #2!" With no time left to lose, Ryō quickly raced out of his car and gave chase. He would have brought his rifle, but he didn't have clearance to use one so all he had was his pistol. It'll have to do for now.
(Back with Nagisa)
"The people from the Dark Zone! They've come to attack again-mepo!" Mepple informed, jumping up and down the second he sensed them. "Please, you need to fight with us-mepo!"
"Why should I?" Nagisa said, lying on her bed. "I'm just an ordinary girl. You don't need someone like me for this kind of thing."
"But you have to!" Mepple said, jumping up and getting way to close for Nagisa's comfort. "Or else this place will end up just like the Garden of Light-mepo!"
*HONK-HONK-HONK!*
"Huh? What's that noise?" Both Nagisa and Mepple turned before going out to the balcony to hear commotion going on in the city going. "What is going on?"
Wanting to know, Nagisa quickly turned on the TV to the News channel.
-This just in, a series of power outages is happening in the vicinity of Jyounan. People have begun to panic and-
Suddenly, the TV went off. Confused, Nagisa tried to turn it back on, but it wouldn't.
"It must be the Dark Zone-mepo!"
"No way."
"Nagisa, we have to do something! Now's the time for Pretty Cure-mepo!"
"Eh? But…"
"Mipple's probably already noticed too and is heading there right now-mepo! Hurry!"
"Do I have to…?" Nagisa did not like the thought of having to fight again, but after some more 'convincing' from Mepple, Nagisa relented and went to head out.
"I'm back." Ryota said once he entered the room and saw Nagisa. "The outside is pretty bad, nee-chan. Every light in the city, including the signal lights, aren't working."
Nagisa didn't reply as she went to head out.
"Huh? Are you going somewhere, nee-chan?"
"None of your business." Nagisa said as headed for the door, but was stopped by Ryota.
"Where are you going? Tell me, tell me."
Annoyed, Nagisa locked Ryota into her famous 'Cobra Twist.'
"Shut up you little…!"
"Ite, ite, ite! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I give, I give!" With that said, Nagisa released Ryota, much to his relief and raced out the door.
(Later)
It took a while, but Nagisa and Honoka who she met alone the way finally made it to the city and raced to find the source. Nagisa then stopped and gasped.
"What is it?" Honoka asked.
"Shiho! Rina!" Nagisa exclaimed as she saw her friends trapped in an elevator in the mall, the clear class showing that they were panicking.
"I can feel it! It's the work of the Dark Zone-mepo!"
"We have to help them! To the roof!" Honoka said and Nagisa nodded before they ran. After some time, they finally reached the top and gasped at who they saw.
"You!"
"Well, well, well. I knew you two would show up eventually." Pisard said said as the Vacuum Zakenna continued to suck up the energy of the city.
"I don't have time to deal with you right now!" Nagisa said as saving her friends was top priority.
"Oh, but I want to deal with you very much." Pisard said before he turned to the vacuum monster. "Go, Zakenna!"
"ZAKENNA!"
They girls barely escaped from getting hit as they were thrown back. Pisard laughed as he jumped to higher ground.
"That's it! Now I'm angry!" Nagisa said before she held up Mepple. "Let's do this, Yukishiro-san."
"Right.' Honoka nodded.
"Slash the card and transform-mepo!"
And the girls did just that. With the slash of their cards, they were soon engulfed in blinding light
"Duel Aurora Wave!"
"Here it comes." Pisard said as he covered his eyes from the light.
Moments later, the girls were now transformed and ready for battle.
"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"
"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"
"Futari wa PreCure!"
"Servant of the Dark Power…"
"Return to the darkness from which you came!"
'As I thought, it's the legend that was told in the Garden of Light.' Pisard said. 'But where's that boy? There was nothing about him in the Garden of Light. Hmph, no matter. It just makes things easier for me.'
"Zakenna! No need to hold back. Crush them!"
The Zakenna's eyes glowed red as it roared. "ZAKENNA!"
(Meanwhile, somewhere else)
The screams of the people were music to Gooma's ears as he bit into his tenth victim before throwing him away.
"Hmph! Even after all these years, the Linto are still so weak!"
Gooma turned to his next victim which was a teenage girl. Seeing that Gooma's attention was on her, she ran, but tripped on one of the many victim's Gooma had killed and fell. Gooma laughed as he walked towards her as the girl slowly backed away.
"Stop right there!"
*BANG-BANG-BANG!*
Gooma felt something hitting his back and turned to see Ryō with his gun pointed at him. Annoyed yet amused at the same time, Gooma walked towards him. Seeing him coming, Ryō shot bullet after bullet until he had no more. Seeing that he was all out, Gooma flew and grabbed Ryō, carrying him through the air before dropping him on top of a car…hard.
Ryō grunted in pain as he crashed on top of the car and tumbled down off it, hitting the pavement as he slowly got up and saw Gooma heading towards him again. He quickly crossed his arms in front of him as Gooma zoomed and struck him, sending Ryō rolling away.
'Dammit, I'll die at this rate!' Ryō thought as he got up and glared at the monster through his broken glasses.
"Hey!" Both Ryō and Gooma turned to see Dai who was breathing heavily, having just run all the way here. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size!?"
"What are you doing here!? I told you, you have no business here!" Ryō shouted as he got up.
"I'm going to fight!" Dai said.
"Are you still saying that!?"
"I've decided!" Dai said as he slowly walked towards the Grongi. "I…don't want to see anymore tears! These monsters will continue to take away the smiles of the people if I leave them alone! I know it sounds cliché, but it's why I'm fighting! As it is now, only I have the power to take these guys down so I will fight! So please, witness…my transformation!"
With that said, Dai spread his arms and summoned the Arcle belt. He placed his hands over it before he corssed his arms in front of him and extended outward.
*BA-DUMP!*
Dai could feel it. He could hear it. His heart beating.
*BA-DUMP!*
This was it. It's now or never.
*BA-DUMP!*
"Henshin!"
Dai was off the second he said that, throwing a hay maker at Gooma who took it. He didn't expect the power behind Dai's attack as he stumbled back, looked up and was met right a right hook to the face that sent him back. Now angry, Gooma swung, but Dai easily blocked it and quickly wrapped his arm around it, preventing him from escaping as he punched and punched at Gooma's face until one by one, his body started to feel heavier and when his eyes was tinted red before becoming clear, he threw Gooma over him with enough force to make Gooma crash into a car, making a sizable dent.
Dai breathed in and out before he looked at himself and nearly cheered at what he saw.
His armor was now red. The chest and shoulder armor were still the same, the gauntlets, knee pads, and wrist bands were all the same, but what was once previously white was now red as the horn on his helmet was bigger, extending longer over his head than when in Growing form. Not only that, but he felt stronger, faster, and his senses boosted. He was now in Kuuga's default form, the Mighty Form.
"I did it! I turned red!" Dai said as Ryō stared in amazement. He had seen what Dai looked like in growing form and he was barely impressed. Mighty form looked the same, but the feeling that came off it told him that this was not the same thing.
"So, finally taking me seriously, are you, Kuuga?"
"That's right. This time, for real, you've taken your last life! This is where the real battle starts!" Dai said before turning to Ryō. "Ichijo-san, get the people to safety! I'll take care of him. Trust me!"
Seeing no other choice, Ryō got up and ran to the people, telling them to run as Dai and Gooma were all that were left.
Silence over took the both of them until they both got into battle stances and circled one another. No words were spoken. In fact, they were not needed. This wasn't a spar or a brawl, this was a death match. The winner lives and while the loser dies. Small talk had no place here. After circling one another for a while, they finally kicked off the ground and charged towards one another.

Dai took the first action and jumped over Gooma, landing behind him before he turn and threw a punch. Gooma dodged it and went to swipe Dai, but he back away to dodge before he spun and gave a back heel kick to Gooma's face. He spun back, disoriented which Dai took advantage of as he went and wrapped his arms around Gooma before he suplexed Gooma hard into the ground, getting back up quickly and jumped back, waiting for the Bat Grongi to get back up as he knew that something like that would not finish the Grongi.
Minutes later, Gooma brought his head out of the ground and glared at the red warrior. Dai simply extended his hand out and made the gesture saying, 'bring it.' Gooma roared before he flew towards Dai. But Dai was prepared this time as he quickly flipped back and kicked Gooma in the stomach, making Gooma lose control as he crashed into another car.
"Is that all you got!?" Dai said as he got back into a stance.
Gooma removed his head from the car window and glared at Dai. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was no match for this Kuuga. So he did what he did best. He ran or in this case, flew away.
"Oh no you don't!" Dai, however, was not about to let the Grongi escape. Jumping, he grabbed onto the Grongi's legs and flew with him, struggling to hold on. "Where do you think you're going!?" Gooma tried his best to knock Dai off, but the teen was resilient as he would not let go. Gooma was so busy trying to get Dai off that he didn't notice that he was flying to a certain mall where Nagisa and Honoka were at.

(Back with the girls)
Both the girls jumped to avoid a headbutt (if you can call it that in this situation) from the Zakenna. Removing its head from the rubble, it went after the girls again, the both of them barely dodging its attack. Nagisa flipped and landed back on the ground and looked to see Honoka being targeted. She was about to shout a warning when Honoka surprisingly caught the Zakenna and spun it around before sending it up into the air.
"Nagisa!"
"I've got it!" Nagisa responded as she jumped past Honoka and attacked with her kicking foot, mimicking the famous pose that was mostly involved in Rider Kicks. But in this case, it could be a 'Cure Kick.'
"ZAKENNA!"
But just when Nagisa's kick was about to land, wind blew from the back of the body, stopping Nagisa as she was slowly being pulled before being sucked into the air.
"Black!" Honoka cried out in worry as Nagisa spun in mid air before she was pulled once again by the Zakenna, trying to suck her up. Spinning, Nagisa speaded her arms out and stopped herself from being devoured from the Vacuum Zakenna.
"Destroy them!" Pisard ordered.
The Zakenna would have did as told…if it wasn't for an unexpected arrival.
*FLAP-FLAP-FLAP!*
"Hm?" Confused, Pisard looked towards the sky and saw both Gooma and Dai.
"Let me go! Let me go this instant-GAH!" Gooma cried out when he crashed into the head of the Zakenna just as it was about to threw Nagisa away. The crash caused the Zakenna to stop its vacuum and release Nagisa as both Gooma and Dai fell.
Nagisa screamed as she neared the ground when she felt arms wrap around before she spun and landed on the ground…in someone's arms.
"Nagisa-chan, daijōbudesu ka(Are you alright)?" Looking behind her, she saw that she was in the arms of Dai.
"Dai-kun!? Uh, daijōbu(I'm fine)." Nagisa said. "Can you, uh, let go of me now?"
"Huh?" Dai raised an eyebrow in confusion, not that anyone could tell because of the helmet, but then soon realized that he still had his arms wrapped around Nagisa's waist and quickly let go. "Ah! Gomen(I'm sorry)!"
"It's okay." Nagisa said before she realized Dai's new look. "Dai-kun, you're red."
"Hm? Oh, yeah." Dai said as Honoka ran up to them.
"Black! Ichi-kun!" Honoak said until she saw Dai. "Ichi-kun, you're red now."
"Yep. This is my Mighty Form, Kuuga's default form." Dai said.
"Kuuga?" Both girls asked, confused.
"It's what I'm called when I'm like this." Dai said before he turned back to Pisard, the Zakenna, and Gooma. "Anyway, we have more important things to worry about."
"So, you've finally arrived, boy. I was wondering when you'd show up." Pisard said, but his thoughts were discussing another matter. 'What is this energy coming off of him? This darkness…'
"Sorry I'm late, but my business isn't with you. It's with him." Dai said, pointing to Gooma. "The girls are more than enough to kick your pet monster's butt!"
"Oh really? Then let's test that theory!" Pisard said as his Zakenna roared again and attacked, forcing the three to dodge.
"Girls, I need to deal with that Grongi. Can you take care of this guy?" Dai asked.
"Leave him to us!" Honoka said.
Dai nodded before he charged towards the Bat Grongi and tackled him before the girls turned their attention back to the Zakenna.
"Now, where were we?" Pisard said as the Zakenna attacked. "Blow them to smithereens!"
"ZAKENNA!"
Instead of using its vacuum, it sent out a blast of electricity that surprised both girls. So surprised that they didn't react fast enough and were hit…at least, they thought they were.
"Huh?" Nagisa and Honoka opened their eyes and saw that they were protected by a protective barrier of sorts as their hands were grasped together. Nagisa and Honoka looked at one another and nodded before they held up their hands.
"Black Thunder!"
"White Thunder!"
*BOOM!*
Like before, a storm gathered and black and white colored thunder bolt s appeared and into the palms of their hands.
"Purikyua no utsukushiki tamashī ga…"
"... Jaaku na kokoro wo uchikudaku!"
They tighten their hands together before they extended their free hands out and shouted.
"Pretty Cure Marble Screw!"
Two blast of black and white lightning bursts from their palms and spiraled around one another and struck the Zakenna at full force.
"Za…ken…na…" The Zakenna breathed out before its head was separated from its container, flying out into the air.
"Dammit!" Pisard exclaimed before he jumped away and made his escape.
"Hah!" Nagisa then jumped and gave the container that held the stolen energy a kick that left an imprint as the Zakenna spirit soon popped out and exploded into tiny stars as the vacuum went back to normal.
"We did it." Honoka said as she and Nagisa smiled before they remembered Dai.
"Wait, what about Dai?" Both girls turned and saw something they weren't expecting.
"RRRRAAAAAGH!"
*RIP!*
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
The eyes of both girls widen when they saw Dai rip off Gooma's wings with his bare hands. What the hell did they miss?
(A couple of minutes ago)
While the girls took care of Pisard and the Zakenna, Dai charged towards Gooma and tackled the Grongi into the wall, crashing through it as they both rolled on the ground before getting up. Gooma growled in anger before he jumped and flew at Dai. Dai was ready for him as just when Gooma was gonna swoop him, Dai thrusted both hands out, grabbing onto Gooma's shoulders and slid back. His feet skidded across the ground before Dai used his weight and leaned back, taking Gooma with him before Dai threw Gooma so hard that he crashed through the wall and outside. Dai got up and quickly followed where Gooma was getting up.
Gooma glared at the red warrior before he roared, charged, and swiped wildly at Dai in blind rage, but Dai easily blocked and dodged all the swipes. Gooma then threw a punch, but Dai caught it, wrapped his arms around him before he judo flipped Gooma to the ground, released his arm, and kicked him away where Gooma flew for a bit before skidding across the pavement.
Gooma struggled to get up, turned from the beating he got as rage was the only thing that kept him going. He glared towards Dai again and debated his options. On one hand, he could stay and fight or he could run.
But then, suddenly, the dark sky was gone and was replaced with the redness of dawn as some clouds moved and allowed the sun to rain down its beam. And of course, that meant bad news for Gooma.
"GYAH! The…light!" The latter started sounded more appeasing to him so with that thought in mind, Gooma spreaded his wings and flew, but Dai would not allow that.
"I won't let you escape!" Jumping, Dai grabbed Gooma's legs and used his weight to bring the Grongi down where Dai used his strength to slam Gooma down onto the ground hard.
Gooma continued to cry out in pain as the sun's rays beamed down on him as he started to crawl, but didn't get far when Dai suddenly stepped on him and grabbed his wings before pulling.
Gooma's eyes widen when he realized what Dai was about to do. "S-Stop! Please!"
"How many of your victims pleaded before you took their lives?" Dai actually growled as he pulled harder and harder. "This is for taking away their smiles!"
"RRRRAAAAAGH!"
*RIP!*
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
A brief gushing of blood spilt as Dai removed his foot off of Gooma and threw away his wings as Gooma got up and withered in pain from both the sun's rays and his removed wings.
"You are one problem that I do not need in the future, Zu-Gooma-Gu." Dai said before he kneeled and spread out his arms before concentrating energy to his feet. Seeing this, Gooma turned to run, but recoiled when his eyes met the sun.
Feeling that he had enough energy, Dai ran towards the Grongi and when he thought the distance was right, he jumped, flipped, and kicked out, crying out as his kick connected with with Gooma, sending him flying off the building as Dai landed and looked to see Gooma airborne for a bit before…
"Damn…you…KUUGA!"
*BOOM!*
An explosion happened, drawing the attention from the people down below as Dai breathed in and out, calming down his rage.
"D-Dai-kun?" Dai turned and saw both Nagisa and Honoka looking very worried and a bit scared at him. Breathing in and out a couple more times, Dai took a huge breath in and let it all out along with his earlier rage.
"It's okay, you two. I'm fine." Dai said before he gave them a thumbs up, showing that he was alright.
The girls couldn't help but smile and soon returned the gesture, giving him a thumbs up of their own.
"So, mind explaining why you're all red now instead of white?" Nagisa asked. "Not that I'm complaining or anything. You look a lot more cooler right now than you did when you were white, no offense, Yukishiro-san."
"None taken."
Dai simply laughed. "I'll tell you later when we get back. Although I guess we'll have to take the stairs down since the elevator isn't working.
Elevator…
…
…
…
"AH!" Both girls screamed in horror when they finally remembered that Nagisa's friends were still trapped in the elevator.
"Shiho and Rina are still trapped in the elevator!"
"EH!?" Dai exclaimed in surprise. "Then why are we standing around here for!? We got to help them!"
And with that, the three quickly ran to fix the elevator problem.
And done! Another 10000+ words chapter finished! Holy shit, I am on a role! Hope you enjoyed today's chapter everyone because I won't be doing another one for a while. Don't worry, you'll see this story soon enough, but please, be patient. Any who, Dai has finally achieved Mighty Form and has met this world's version of Ichijo, Ichijo Ryō. I hope you all liked him because you'll be seeing him more from this point on. Not only that, but Dai has taken out Gooma thus taking of a problem that would have grown in the future. To be honest, I felt that the only reason why he was kept alive was only because in the end, he was used to demonstrate or hint at how strong Daguva was to Godai and Kaoru so I just got rid of him early. "Hello everyone! Good afternoon or whatever time you're reading this-mepo." Mepple said as he, Mipple, and their respective partners appeared on stage. "Mepple and everyone here to bring you another segment of Pretty Cure: Rider Fun Facts-mepo!"
"What are we looking at today?" Honoka asked, she and Nagisa curious.
"Today, we will be looking at Dai's newest and Kuuga's default form, the Mighty Form-mipo!" Mipple said as Dai in Mighty form appeared on the screen alone with some stats.
"Unlike his Growing form, Mighty form is three times stronger-mepo." Mipple said. "According to the wiki, his kicking power is still the same, but his punching power is now equal to 3 tons-mepo."
"Not only that, but he can now jump 15 m and run 100 m per 5.2 seconds-mipo." Mipple said. "Not only that, but his senses have increased tenfold and his finisher, the Mighty Kick, is three times as strong as the Growing kick, equaling to a total of 30 tons-mipo."
"Sugoi! He's a lot stronger than when he was white, no offense, Yukishiro-san." Nagisa said.
"None taken."
"So, I noticed Dai was using some new moves." Nagisa pointed out as the screen blinked to show Dai suplexing Gooma into the ground. "Was he wrestling or something?"
"Why, yes-mepo." Mepple said. "Besides some karate, he used some wrestling moves like that all famous suplex, but also some judo when he flipped Gooma to the ground-mepo."
"Karate, aikido, wrestling, judo, boxing, and bajiquan." Honoka listed all the fighting styles Dai has used so far. "How many fighting styles does Dai know?"
"Once again, we can't say because of the author-mepo."
"Author, you suck." Nagisa earned a slap to the face via paper fan. "OW!"
"Once again, we thank you all for reading and look forward to seeing you next time-mepo!" Mepple said as he and everyone, sans Nagisa who was rubbing her cheek, waved at goodbye at the readers.
