Hello Fanfiction readers! I, Ashbel Longhart, have returned after a month! I am so sorry that I haven't updated in a month, but I was on vacations visiting my dad which took two days to get there and had to stay there for a month. It was HOT, but nice, but the wifi over there sucked. Anyway, before I continue, cue disclaimer!
(Disclaimer: I do not own Kamen Rider Kuuga or Futari wa Pretty Cure. They both belong to their respective owners. I just own this story and my OC's.)
Now, last time, our hero Dai met PreCure no Sekai's version of Ichijo, unlocked Mighty Form, and fought and destroyed Zu-Gooma-Gu. Now, if you can tell by the title, it's time for Dai to obtain the one thing every Rider needs. His bike. Let's ride and Chou Henshin!
Ride 3: High-Speed Try and Chase! Beware the New Student Transfer!
(One Year Ago)
Dai runs down the sidewalk toward the direction of the train station. He had no clue what in the world happened to him, but all he knew right now is that he had to get home or else his uncle, not to mention the kids, would be worried.
Dai continues to run, passing by people here and there. The people ignored him and vice versa. However…
"Get away from me!" A cry of a female made Dai stop in his tracks and looked at what was happening in front of him.
A group of teenagers, three of them and all looking around 16 years old, were gathered around a 13 year old girl with long, dark blue hair and eyes. Her hair was worn down as clips held her bangs to the side. Right now, she was wearing a white jacket with a pale yellow dress and white shoes.
"Come on, no need to be shy." One of the men said. "We were just offering our help."
"I am perfectly fine, thank you." The girl said. She had been heading to the store to buy some supplies for her upcoming school project when these men walked up to her and started to get a little too close for her comfort. It didn't take a genius to know that they meant bad news and Honoka tried her best to slip by peacefully. But when she did, one of them grabbed her and instinctively, she backed away, pushing the hand off her.
"Now, if you excuse me, I have somewhere I need to be." Honoka said as she once again tried to slip by, but they blocked her way.
"Now, now, where do you think you're going?" Another one of them aid as he reached out to grab Honoka, but he never got the chance when all of a suddenly, Dai appeared, dropping kicking the guy in the face where he flew into a piled of trash.
Dai landed on his feet and stood in front of Honoka protectively. "Leave her alone! It's obvious she doesn't want you guys around so take a hike!"
"You got some nerve kid!" The two then attacked, but Dai was ready for them.
Honoka could only watch as Dai took care of the two with almost complete ease. Because he was smaller than them, they got a few hits in, but Dai managed to take care of them quickly. Seeing his friends get knocked out, the first guy who Dai knocked out quickly got up and ran in fear.
"Hmph! Good riddance." Dai said, dusting off his hands before turning to the girl. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Thank you." Honoka said.
"No problem." Dai said.
"May I ask what your name is?" Honoka asked.
Dai just stuck out his hand for a hand shake. "I'm Dai, Ichi Dai."
"Ichi Dai?" Honoka repeated in confusion. In her mind, she flipped the names backwards and laughed a little. "Your name is 'dai-ichi' backwards."
"I know." Dai said. "So, what's your name?"
Honoka smiled and took Dai's hand, shaking it. "Honoka, Yukishiro Honoka. Tell me, how did you do all that?"
"I work out a lot." Dai said with a thumbs-up and smile before he ended the hand shake and ran. "Sorry, but I have some place I need to be. It was nice meeting you!"
Dai waved goodbye before he left. In return, Honoka waved back and headed to the store. For some strange reason, she felt that this wasn't the last time she'll see Dai and boy how right she was.
(One Year Later)
Silence. That's what filled the questioning room as it was currently filled with four people, two males and two females. Both males, Dai and Ryō were perfectly calm while the two females, Nagisa and Honoka, looked like they were on the brink of freaking the fuck out though Honoka didn't show it.
If you're all wondering how these four came to be here, it was after the incident last episode. After Dai and the girls saved Shiho and Rina as well as the other people trapped in the elevator, Ryō had later appeared and like the cop that he is, pointed his gun at them and asked questions later.
Now Dai was calm because he had been here before, but this is the first time the girls have been brought for questioning by the police. While Dai's nature enabled him to be okay in this situation, the girls were a different story. It didn't help that Ryō was giving them a stare that would have made Genjuro from Neon Genesis Evangelion proud…and that's not a good thing.
"So…" Ryō began.
"We're innocent I tell you! INNOCENT!" Nagisa immediately said.
"I wasn't accusing you of anything, Misumi-san." Ryō said before he picked up both Mepple and Mipple in their phone forms. They were closed so Ryō couldn't see their faces. "So, mind telling me what these are?"
"Well, they're, uh…" Honoka tried to think of the right words to say, but couldn't think of any. Nagisa was in the same boat as her as that. She would have said phones, but something told her that the man in front of her would not believe that for a minute.
Seeing that they weren't going to answer, he switched subjects. "Okay, then mind explaining to me what in the world happened?"
"Well…" Nagisa said, nervous.
"I'll be happy to tell you everything." Dai said with a smile. The girls looked at him like he was crazy, but he ignored them as he spoke. "You see, when I was fighting Gooma, the Bat Grongi which you fought, he tried to fly away, but I grabbed onto him and we both flew. After a while, we crashed into a vacuum monster and met this crazy albino man," Somewhere, Pisard sneezed again. "The girls were there too and were these warriors called Pretty Cures and they fought the vacuum monster while I dealt with Gooma. We both destroyed our monsters and then went to save our friends. After that, that's when you showed up."
"I see." Ryō said.
Quickly, Nagisa said, "I'm sorry! Our friend Dai-kun here likes to tell crazy stories from time to time! Right, Yukishiro-san?
"Y-Yeah, that's true!" Honoka said. "His stories are absurd! Please forgive him!"
"Why are you girls acting like I'm crazy?" Dai asked.
"Because you're gonna give away our entire secret!" Nagisa whispered to him.
"You know I can hear you, right?" Ryō said.
"It's okay girls. He already saw me transform before." Dai said.
"He did?" Honoka asked.
"I did." Ryō said. "And I am still surprised by the power you wield, Ichi-kun."
"Glad I gave off a good impression." Dai said with his trademark smile.
"Uh, Ichi-kun, I don't think that's what he meant." Honoka said.
"Anyway, are you sure we can trust this guy?" Nagisa asked.
Dai nodded. "Positive. Ichijo-san is a trustworthy guy."
"Really? How can you be so sure?" Ryō asked. "We've only know each other for about a day."
"Because you take your job as a policeman seriously." Dai pointed out. "You also pointed out how half-hearted my drive was to fight the Grongi was. But my drive to fight them is now full, I have what it takes to take them on whole heartedly and it's all thanks to you, Ichijo-san."
"Flattery will get you nowhere." Ryō said. "So, are you going to tell me the truth or not?"
The three of them looked at one another before they looked at the 'phones' in Ryō's hands.
"You girls wanna do the honors?" Dai asked.
"Well…" Honoka said.
"Where do we begin?" Nagisa said.
(Insert STRIKE BACK by BACK-ON)
(Instrumental) The song starts as the camera rises up to show the legs of Kuuga before we get a sudden screen shot of Cure Black and Cure White before go back to Kuuga. Just as the camera is at the Arcle, we get a sudden shot of Mepple and Mipple before the camera gets to his chest. We then get another sudden shot of The PreCure cards surrounding Gouram before we go back to Kuuga whose back was facing the camera. He then suddenly turns around and punches the screen, cracking it as the title appears.
(Kidou sura kaerarenai kurai no kakuritsu da to shite mo) We now see Nagisa playing lacrosse with her team, catching a ball as Mepple is seen sleeping from Nagisa's bag.
(IPAASENTO demo areba mochiron teikou desho?) We then see Honoka with the members of the science club, doing an experiment that ended in an explosion as Mipple just giggles at the scene.
(Shosen, "unmei" to nagetsukerareta tte, No I won't!) We go to the city where police are examining a dead body. Ryō looks at the body before he walks away and gets out his phone, calling Dai.
(Hikkuri kaeshite, Because datte kimi to mirai wo miretara saikou janai?) Dai, riding on the TryChaser 2000, gets the call from his radio and speeds up, passing both Nagisa and Honoka as he races to meet up with Ryō.
(Bring it on! 'Cuz I'm just gonna grow up in the battle HEY! buchinuku donten!) Suddenly, the sky turns dark before the Dark King and his subordinates appears as well as an army of Zakenna appeared. Appearing with him was a shadow figure of N-Daguva-Zeba along with an army of Grongi.
(Still burning my fire ten wo kirsaku raimei I gotta kakikesu Nightmare tada mirai ga mitakute!) Nagisa and Honoka step in fear before Dai suddenly appeared behind them and gave them his signature smile and a thumbs up.
(Kako, mirai, soshite ikiteru ima, I ain't scared of my past and now for takusareta asu) Seeing his smile seemed to steel the girl's resolve as they took out the Queen PreCure and Dai summoned the Arcle belt.
(Screaming out for my pride!) A light then suddenly appears and appearing from it was Kamen Rider Kuuga along with Cure Black and Cure White, ready for battle.
(Namida mitakunai kara, sakebi tsudzukeru yo! Zutto...) Cure Black and Cure White engage a battle with some Zakenna before taking on Pisard, IIkubo, Poisony, Kiriya, and Gekidrago.
(I'm never falling down! oi kaze wo se ni fukitobasu Destiny!) Both sides trade blows for a bit before both girls held hands and fired their signature Marble Screw.
(Kono senaka ni aru, egao mamoritai kara! Zutto...) We see Kuuga kicking way a few Grongi, bashes them with the Dragon Rod while in his Dragon form, shoots a flying Grongi with his Pegasus Bowgun in his Pegasus form, and slashes a few more Grongi with his Titan Sword in his Titan form.
(I gotta blast off your pain for you and me! kanashimi nante Rest in peace!) Dai and the girls meet regroup as they face both the Dark King and N-Daguva-Zeba. Dai charges up a Mighty Kick before he jumps.
(Nando demo...) The girl then threw another Marble Screw as Dai kicks towards the two beings of darkness with the Marble Screw following close behind him before a light overtakes everything and we see a quick look at the blue sky before the song ends.
(Dark Zone)
A raging storm always fitted the Dark King's mood whenever he got news he didn't like. A raging storm he was yesterday and a raging storm was what he was today as Pisard kneeled before him.
"How much longer must I wait, Pisard?"
"I most humbly apologize, Dark King-sama!" Pisard said with his head bowed. "However, the place where they are at is filled with the power of life. I was trying to get that energy for you."
"Really? Then where is this energy?"
"Well…that's…
"Don't make a fool out of me!" Thunder boomed, making Pisard flinch. "Remember, Pisard, that you are easily replaceable. Do not forget that." To strengthen his threat, the dark lord extended the shadows behind Pisard, showing that he meant business.
Pisard gulped before he turned back to the Dark King. "Yes, I understand, Dark King-sama. Next time, without fail…"
"Then go! I will not accept another failure from you!" With those words, Pisard got up, bowed one more time before he vanished to the human world. Once gone, the Dark King directed his attention to Daguva who had been listening. Good, he needed to speak with him anyway. "Daguva, I know you are there. Come out."
"Heh, I can never hide from you, can I?" Daguva said as his figure was hidden in the shadows.
"Your darkness is practically all over the place like my own. I'd be idiot to not notice you. But that's beside the point. You never told me that this Kuuga could grow stronger."
"Well, when he awakened, he was but a baby." Daguva said. "But now he's starting to unlock his true power and is thus one step closer to the Ultimate Darkness."
"You say that, yet how come this is the first time I've ever heard of him? His darkness is strong, stronger than all of my subordinates yet he fights against the darkness. His actions go against the laws of nature itself!"
"Nature? Oh, you're mistaken, Dark King." Daguva said. "Kuuga is a Kamen Rider. Their kind are not bound to petty laws, even those set by god himself."
"Did you say…Kamen Rider!?" For the first time, the Dark King showed surprise on his face. "I see…so the Kamen Riders are starting to revive. This…changes everything."
(Train Station)
"I can't believe what happened yesterday." Nagisa said, talking about their time with Ryō as she was still mentally exhausted so she leaned on Dai for support.
"I was surprised Ichijo-kun took Mepple and Mipple's story so well." Honoka said as said fairies were currently asleep thanks to the Onemu card.
"Well, after what he's faced so far with the police force, I don't think anything could surprise him now." Dai said. Ryō had been introduced to both Mepple and Mipple and he was obviously surprised, but recovered quickly as he was told both fairies stories and situation as well as Dai as he had yet to be told about their situation which made him vow that he would help the two anyway he can. After that, the three had been released and Ryō promised to keep a secret about the two fairies as the three returned home.
"And you're sure that we can trust him?" Honoka asked her friend.
"Positive." Dai nodded. "Ichijo-san is a good man. He'll keep his promise. I know because he takes his job seriously."
"Ah~! There's so much I don't get." Nagisa said. "I mean, who was that guy, Pisard? What are those strange monsters? None of it makes sense."
"Only time will tell, Nagisa-chan." Dai said until he saw his friend, Kimata. "Oi! Kimata!"
"Oh! Hey Dai." Kimata said, blushing at the sight of Honoka.
"Where's Shougo?" Dai asked.
Kimata snapped out of his daze and said, "He's running late."
"Sorry for the wait!" Dai and everyone turned to see said man running towards them. Nagisa immediately straightened up and blushed when she saw him and this did not escape Dai's notice. "Were you guys waiting long?"
"You're late, Fujipi." Kimata said.
"Hey, I made it, didn't I?" Shougo said as he noticed the girls. "Hey, Honoka." He then turns to Nagisa. "You're that girl from yesterday. Nagisa, right?"
"Eh?" Nagisa was surprised that Shougo knew her name. "How do you…"
"Dai here told me." Shougo said. He then noticed the lacrosse stick in her hand and said, "So, Dai was telling the truth when he said you're on the lacrosse team."
"Uh…uh…" Nagisa was too flustered to think of any words.
'…Nagisa-chan has a crush on Shougo.' Dai thought as he stared at Nagisa's red face. He'll talk about it later with her. "Our train's here."
"Oh, so it is. It was nice meeting you." Shougo said as he, Kimata, and Dai left the girls, waving goodbye.
Honoka waved back and so did Nagisa. She then realized the way she acted and leaned on Honoka in depression who looked at her in confusion.
(Meeting Room)
Ryō, as well as other members of the police force, watched the video they had found at the ruins where the archeologists had discovered the nest of the Unidentified Lifeforms. What they were watching right now was one of them murdering all of them. This wasn't the first time they had seen this so they were pretty much used to watching this right now, no matter how messed up that sounded.
So while everyone else watched the vid, Ryō was looking at the latest information about the Unidentified Lifeforms and he was surprised at what he read. If he was reading this right, the samples they received from the remains of both Unidentified Lifeforms No. 1 and No. 2, they matched the same as a human which was unbelievable.
"Human, huh." Hiwagawa, the Chief Police of the city, muttered as the video came to an end and turned to a member of forensics. Hiwagawa was a man in his late 50's. He was a bit chubby and some of his hair was turning white from age. "So you're saying that these…things are the same as us humans?"
"Only by blood comparison." The forensic member said. "We're still analyzing the remains of both No. 1 and No. 2. However, from this video, I believe that these Unidentified Lifeforms are similar to humans. "
"I see." Hiwagawa said. "So far, the victim number is 31. Information is also coming in from other prefectures. To review, we'll go over all the confirmed Unidentified Lifeforms so far." Hiwagawa then turned to a policemen standing by at the monitor. "Let's begin."
"Yes sir." The man nodded and played what Hiwagawa wanted.
Up on the screen a photo of Gumun appeared.
"First, we have No. 1 who first appeared in Nagano and later here. According to Officer Ryō, the one responsible for his destruction was Unidentified Lifeform No. 3."
"Fighting amongst themselves, eh?" The man that was with Ryō that night they found the remains of Gumun, Kuzaragi Rai, said.
"Next, No. 2." Gooma then appeared on screen who was engaged in battle with Kuuga in Mighty Form. "This picture was taken by one of the citizens during yesterday's incident. As you can see, he was engaged in battle with No. 4 and was later confirmed to have been defeated and destroyed. Next, No. 3 and No. 4."
The next pictures were pictures of Kuuga in Growing Form fighting Gooma that one night and the one in Mighty Form with the one just recently shown.
"According to Officer Ryō, both No. 3 and No. 4 are in fact one and the same so to avoid confusion, he shall be identified as No. 4. The belt round his abdomen is different from the rest and for some reason, he seems to be fighting his own kind, yet it is unknown whether or not he is an ally or not."
"The next set of pictures is hard to make out." True to his word, the next picture was too blurry to make out a clear description, but it definitely wasn't human. "This was taken from the Gifu Prefecture." The next picture was also too blurry to make out. "And this one was taken from the Aiuchi Prefecture."
"For convenience, we'll label the one from the video No. 0." Hiwagawa said. "Adding in these last two, we've confirmed the existence of seven Unidentified Lifeforms. Notify all the police in the Kanto Region. We will continue to withhold information regarding the Unidentified Lifeforms. This must remain a secret!"
'Typical.' Ryō thought as he wrote himself a reminder.
"When investigating the Unidentified Lifeforms, on confirmation, shoot on sight!" Hiwagawa added.
'What!?' Ryō thought. He had no problems against the idea, but No. 4 aka Dai was an Unidentified Lifeform to the police which means everyone, but him will shoot him on sight!
"As it stands, standard issue handguns are ineffective against these things." Hiwagawa said. "Thus, a special unit has been formed. They will be equipped with the SIG-Sauer P230 semi-automatic handgun, Heckler & Koch submachine gun, as well as high powered sniper rifles. I trust your aim to hit its mark."
"Chief Hiwagawa, wait!" Ryō said as he got up from his seat.
"What is it?"
"We need more investigation on No. 4!" Ryō said, coming up with the excuse on the spot.
"Why?"
"Because he saved me when I was in danger!"
That got the other members talking amongst one another as Hiwagawa asked, "Can you be certain of that?"
"I can!"
"Can you prove it?"
"That…" That got Ryō. He clenched his fist in frustration and that didn't escape Rai's eyes.
Once the meeting was over, Ryō couldn't be gladder that he asked for Dai's number. Something told him that Dai wasn't lying when he said that he was gonna do things half-assed anymore so he asked for his number in case he needed his help.
(Verone Academy)
"So, Dai…" Kimata spoke up as he, Dai, and Shougo were all eating lunch.
"Hm?" Dai looked up from his lunch to his blue haired friend.
"What happened to you when you were taken by that policeman?" Kimata asked. "You're way too nice to have done anything bad that might have attracted the police so what happened?"
"Oh, I was called in for questioning, because I was a witness during an incident two days ago." Dai spoke the half-truth. The incident he was talking about was when he faced Gooma for the first time. The whole witness was a lie…sort of.
"Really? What incident?" Shougo asked.
Just before Dai could speak, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw who the caller was.
"Hold that thought." Dai said as he left the classroom and closed the door behind him before he answered his phone. "Hello?"
-Ichi-kun? It's Ryō.-
"Oh, Ichijo-san. Is something wrong?" Dai hadn't expected to get a call from the policeman so soon. He had expected to get a call from him if there was a problem involving the Grongi. And he would have heard sirens in the distance.
-I'm calling you to tell you that the police have just formed a special unit to deal with the Unidentified Lifeforms and that the order to shoot one on sight has been made. For your safety, I wouldn't transform for a while until this all blows over.-
"I'm sorry; Ichijo-san, but I can't do that." Dai said. "If I don't do something, then more people will die along with more smiles. Only I have the power to do something."
-I see. Then I guess you're going to see this to the very end.-
Dai nodded. "That's right."
-Then for you sake, I suggest you be careful out there.-
"Will do." Dai said before he ended the call. "Shoot on sight; huh…Things are starting to turn out like the TV series." He'll have to be extra careful when he goes out and fights Grongi from now on. He also has to make sure that the girls don't get involved. They can barely take the monsters. They did not need guns pointed at them. And unlike him, they didn't have masks to hide their identity. So yeah, getting the girls involved was a big no.
But for now, time to get back to class. Lunch period was almost over.
(With the girls)
"This is the itinerary for next week's field trip." The teacher said to the entire class. "Ah, that's right; we have to decide who will be in charge. I wonder who it should be."
As the teacher was looking around, Nagisa and Shiho were talking to one another.
"There's a rumor that one of this year's student teachers is really cute!" Shiho said.
"Cute?" Nagisa said as she thought about what the teacher would look like and blushed at the thought. "I can't wait to see what he's like."
"Misumi-san?" The teacher, having seen the conversation between the two, walked over to them.
"Uh, hai?" Nagisa just knew that she was in trouble.
"Were you listening to what I was saying?"
"O-Of course I was!"
"Okay, in that case then, Misumi-san will take the job, right?"
"Eh?"
"Then it's decided." The teacher said. "Next week's field trip organizer is Misumi-san!"
Everyone clapped for her, but Nagisa was having other thoughts. "Me? By myself!? I can't do that!" There was no way she could be the organizer!
"Hmm, true, it be too risky to let Misuim-san try this by herself." The teacher said.
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Nagisa asked, angry. Weren't teachers supposed to be nice to students?
"I wonder if I should ask someone to back her up…" The teacher looked around to see who could help her and she smiled when her eyes landed on Honoka. "Ah, Yukishiro-san!"
"Yes?" Every student sighed, having figured that the teacher would pick the Chishiki no joō.
"Could you help Misumi-san make the pamphlets for the field trip?" The teacher asked. "I understand it will be hard for you since you just became the class representative."
"It's no problem, I'll be happy to help." Honoka said.
"Then it's decided." The teacher said.
(With Ryō)
Ryō sighed as he took a seat a ramen stand.
"Oh, you're here again." The ramen owner said. Said owner was an old man in a stained apron and a hairnet as he was missing a couple of teeth.
"Sorry to drop in like this all the time, Date-san." Ryō said. "The usual please."
"I had a feeling you were coming, so I have it already ready." Date said, laying down a bowl in front of the policeman. "So, is there anything you wish to ask me?"
"Can you give me any information on No. 4, the Unidentified Lifeform in red?" Ryō asked as he dug into his bowl.
"That would require having information in the first place." Date said as he took out a bottle of sake. "Want some?"
"I don't drink, I've told you already." Ryō said.
Date shrugged. "Suit yourself. I surprised to see you without your friend, Rai."
"He had some unfinished work to do. I'm on break." Ryō said, eating a fishcake. "So, what can you tell me?"
"Well, I've been seeing some weird people lately, people I've never seen before." Date said, pouring himself a cup. "And I know just about anyone in this city."
"What makes them so weird?" Ryō asked.
"Well, they all have these strange tattoos depicting an animal or plant." Date said. "Not only that, but I've noticed that they were observing their surroundings rather seriously too."
"I see." Ryō said, setting down his bowl which was already empty, noodle and soup and all. He laid down the paid money and said, "Thanks for the meal."
"A fast eater as always." Date said before he poured himself another cup.
Ryō left the stand with the new info, but suddenly, he bumped into a well-dressed woman.
"Excuse me." Ryō said.
The woman muttered something…rather strangely before taking her leave. Ryō froze, having heard those kinds of words before. Quickly, he caught up to the woman and showed her his badge.
"Excuse me, miss, what did you say?" Ryō asked, his other hand creeping to his gun just in case.
The woman said nothing before she pushed him aside and ran.
"Hold it!" Ryō gave chase, pushing and running past people as the woman turned a corner. The second he turned the very same corner, he was attacked by a storm of roses. "What the!? Gyah!" Somehow, he was pushed back and fell the ground as the petal stormed stopped.
Regaining his barring's, he picked one of the petals that had assaulted him.
"Roses?" Ryō said in confusion. He looked around, but saw no sign of the mysterious woman. He lost her. He punched the ground in frustration when suddenly, his phone rang. Picking it up, he answered, "Hello?"
- Ryō, it's me, Rai. Surveillance systems picked up an unknown shadow an hour ago moving at high speeds! We think it's another Unidentified Lifeform!-
"Another one!?"
(After School)
"Well then, gotta get home quick so I can go to the hairdresser." Rina said as she, Shiho, and Nagisa were just getting their shoes from the shoe lockers.
"Could it be, like, is it because of the new student teacher that's coming tomorrow?" Shiho asked.
"Bingo!"
"You've like, got to be kidding me! Maybe I should change my hairstyle too…"
"Hey now, you guys are getting way too excited." Nagisa said as the three laughed. However, that all changed once Honoka appeared.
"I can feel Mipple's presence-mepo!" The voice of Mepple cried out from his carrier. "Mipple, Mipple!"
"Mepple, I'm right here-mipo!" The voice of Mipple cried out from her carrier.
'Uh oh.' Both Nagisa and Honoka thought.
"Hey like, did you hear a strange voice?" Shiho asked.
"Eh? I didn't hear anything." Nagisa said, playing dumb.
"Strange," Rina said before she and Shiho turned to Honoka. "What about you, Yukishiro-san?"
"Must be your imagination." Honoka said with a nervous smile.
"Is it?" Shiho said before she walked up to her. "I'm sure it came from around here." She then saw Honoka's carrier. "Oh, it's the same pouch as Nagisa's!"
'Not good!' Nagisa thought.
"I-It's just a coincidence, right Misumi-san?" Honoka said.
"Yeah, right! Just a coincidence!" Nagisa said.
Trying to diverge the situation quickly, Honoka said, "Excuse me, Misumi-san, what should we do about the field trip?"
"Eh?"
"If you like, shall we discuss it today over at my place?"
"Oh right, the field trip, of course!"
"Alright then, let's go!" Honoka said.
"I'm taking off!" Nagisa said, grabbing her lacrosse stick before following after Honoka.
"Were those two always so close?" Rina wondered.
"Who knows?" Shiho said.
Once outside, the two breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was a close one!" Honoka said.
"Tell me about it." Nagisa said until they saw Dai at the front gates.
Dai just blinked at their tired states.
"Did something happen?"
(Later)
"Geez, Mepple, keep quiet or you're going to reveal yourself!" Nagisa said as the three walked to Honoka's house. "When did you wake up anyway?"
"I can't stay asleep that long-mepo." Mepple said.
"He's got a point." Dai said before the three finally arrived at Honoka's house.
"Well, here we are." Honoka said.
"No way! This is your house!?" Nagisa said in disbelief.
"It's been a while since I've been here." Dai said, confirming that this is indeed Honoka's house.
"This way please." Honoka said as they entered through a separate door.
"Pardon the intrusion." Nagisa said as she and Dai entered and were greeted with the sight of Chuutaro.
"I'm home, Chuutaro." Honoka said. "And look who I brought."
"Long time no see, Chuutaro!" Dai said, happy to see the dog as said dog ran up to Dai. Dai kneeled down to pet the dog and in return, the golden retriever licked him. "Haha, that tickles!"
"So big…" Nagisa said, never seeing a dog as big as Chuutaro.
"Mepo…" Mepple said in amazement.
Chuutaro stopped licking Dai and looked towards Mepple before it walked up to the fairy and staretd to lick him.
"What are you doing-mepo!?" Mepple demanded, not being liked licked. "I am the chosen hero-mepo!"
All three of them laughed at this.
"Honoka, do we have visitors?" The voice of Sanae drew everyone's attention and prompted Nagisa to quickly hide Mepple before Sanae appeared. "Oh, if it isn't Dai."
"It's good to see you again, Sanae-san." Dai said before bowing.
"H-Hello…" Nagisa introduced herself.
"Oh, are you a friend of Honoka's?" Sanae asked.
"Yes, I am." Nagisa said.
"She and I were put in charge as organizers for our classes' field trip so I suggested that we work at my place." Honoka explained.
"I see." Sanae said before turning to Dai. "And what about you?"
"I just stopped by for a quick visit. I have practice with the soccer club today." Dai explained. "It was good to see you."
"It was good to see you too." Sanae said.
Dai then got up to leave, but Chuutaro stopped him, whimpering in sadness. "Oh, I know we just got to see each other again, but I really have to go. Sorry, Chuutaro." Giving the dog one last pat, Dai waved goodbye and left.
"It's sad that he couldn't stay a while." Sanae said. "Now, why don't you girl hurry up and get to work? I'll get some snacks."
"Okay." Honoka said before she and Nagisa headed to her room.
"It sure is quiet here." Nagisa commented as she and Honoka walked. Besides Sanae, she had yet to see another person here.
"My father and mother are not here right now."
"Are they away?"
Honoka nodded. "Yes, both of them are out of the country."
"Out of the country?" Nagisa didn't expected that.
"Yes. There was a maid here a little while ago, but now it's just me and my grandmother." Honoka said before they finally arrived at her room. "Well, here we are. This is my room." Opening the door, Nagisa was surprised at the size.
"It's huge!" Nagisa said as she entered the room. "It's twice as big as my room!"
Honoka placed her bag on her bed and Mipple on her desk. "Please wait a moment. I'll go get us some tea."
"Okay." Nagisa said as she was soon left alone in the room. Placing Mepple on the desk, the two phones went poof and in their place were Mepple and Mipple in their true forms.
"Mipple!"
"Mepple!"
"You two sure don't get tired of each other." Nagisa said before she noticed a picture frame placed down. "A picture? Curious, she picked it up. "Maybe it's a picture of her boyfriend?" However, that wasn't the case as the picture depicted a man with some crazy looking hair. "Dr. Breakstone…who's that?"
Finally, Honoka returned with the tea. "I see those two are lovey-dovey as usual."
"Yeah, they've been like that since then." Nagisa said before she placed the picture back where it belonged.
Honoka placed the tea set down on her desk before she sat down and asked the two fairies, "Hey, why do you guys sometimes look like cell phones and sometimes stuffed animals?"
"How rude!" Mepple said. "We are not stuffed animals-mepo!"
"In the Garden of Light we always look like this-mipo." Mipple said.
"But when we're here…" Both Mepple and Mipple turned back into their phone forms. "We can only be like this."
"However, for a little while…" The two then transformed back to their real forms. "We can be like this."
"You sure have a weird tail, though." Nagisa said, picking up Mepple's star shaped tail as an example which the fairy quickly took back.
"Don't touch it-mepo!" Mepple said. "This is my precious tail-mepo!"
"The Prism Stone is inside it-mipo." Mipple said.
"You two mentioned that before." Nagisa said.
"Exactly what is the Prism Stone?" Honoka asked, making a mental note to tell Dai later.
"The Prism Stone is the life stone which has the power of creation-mepo." Mepple explained.
"The Garden of Light where we lived was protected by the power of the seven Prism Stones-mipo." Mipple said.
"But when the Dark Zone attacked the Garden of Light, they stole five of the seven stones-mepo." Mepple said. "So the Queen and Elders gave us the remaining two stones and had us escape to the Garden of Rainbows-mepo."
"Garden of Rainbows?" Honoka repeated in confusion until she figured out what they meant. "Oh, you mean the world where we live."
Mipple nodded as she continued telling about the Prism Stones. "If the Prism Stones are taken by the Dark Zone, the Garden of Light will lose the power of life and the Dark Zone will consume everything. Nothing will be left-mipo!"
"Therefore, please-mepo…" Mepple began. "Please defend us against the forces of the Dark Zone-mepo! This is the mission of Pretty Cure, the legendary warriors of the Garden of Light-mepo!"
"Even if you say that…" Nagisa said.
"If all the stones are taken then there will be nobody who can stop the Dark Zone-mipo." Mipple said. "After the Garden of Light, they will probably attack the Garden of Rainbows-mipo. And someday, every world will lose the power of life and become a world of darkness-mipo! "
"That's right-mepo!" Mepple said. "The only ones who can save the world are the legendary warriors with the power of light, Pretty Cure-mepo!"
"Isn't that a bit exaggerated?" Nagisa said before she noticed how tired the two fairies looked.
"It sure is tiring to stay in this form in the Garden of Rainbows-mipo." Mipple said before she and Mepple returned to their phone forms.
"It's much more comfortable being like this-mepo!"
"Mipo!"
"But I wonder why are the people from the Dark Zone are trying so hard to get the Prism Stones?" Honoka asked.
But before she could get her answer…
"Honoka." The voice of Honoka's grandmother alerted both girl s as they quickly hid both fairies just in time.
"What is it, obāchama?" Honoka asked.
"I brought some cookies." Sanae said before she entered the room.
"Arigato." Honoka said.
"My, aren't you a pretty girl." Sanae complimented Nagisa as she laid down the cookies. "I'm sorry, but I never got your name."
"I'm Misumi Nagisa, it's a pleasure to meet you." Nagisa said.
"The pleasure is all mine." Sanae said. "It's been such a long time since Honoka has brought over a friend. She's always reading books by herself. The only one she ever opens up to is Dai who used to come here often."
"I see." Nagisa said. Just how much more did she not know about the Rider?
"Isn't it okay? I like reading books." Honoka said. "And Dai has his own life, he can't always come here."
"Now don't say that. You two always used to hang out." Sanae said before she saw the two 'phones' in the girls' hands. "Oh, it's a matching pair."
The girls unconsciously clench Mepple and Mipple.
"Obāchama, I'm sorry, but we're busy right now." Honoka said.
"Hai, hai. I'll leave now." Sanae said, leaving, but not before saying, "Nagisa-san…"
"Huh?"
"Please take care of Honoka, okay?"
"Uh huh." Nagisa said, confused as Sanae soon left. Once she did, both girls let out breath of relief.
"That was a close one." Honoka said before they set both fairies back on the desk where they popped to life.
"So, Dai used to hang out here often?" Nagisa asked, curious.
"Yes, but that was a year ago." Honoka said. "He suddenly stopped coming, saying he had things to do and couldn't come. I was sad at first, but I got over it. We still hang out from time to time."
"I see." Nagisa said before turning to Mepple and Mipple. "Hey."
"Mepo?"
"If we're so called legendary warriors, then what does that make Dai-kun?" Nagisa asked. After all that's happened, they still didn't get a chance to hear a proper explanation from him about his new powers. What were they? And why did Dai seem to know so much about said powers?
"We don't know what Dai is-mepo." Mepple said.
"We've never seen anything like him-mipo." Mipple said. "What we do know is that whenever he transforms, he emits this powerful dark aura. It's very scary to be honest-mipo."
"A dark aura?" Nagisa said. That didn't sound good to her.
(With Dai)
"Oh no, the store will be closed by the time I get there!" Dai said, picking up the pace.
He ran past people left and right and turned the corner, taking a short cut. To his luck, the store was still open.
"Alright, I made it!" Dai said, smiling, but just when he was about to entire the store.
*CRASH!*
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" A scream of pain caught his attention.
"That came from the back." Dai said before he ran to the back of the store. Guess he'll have to have dinner at Nagisa's place tonight.
Once he got to the back, he did not like the sight that was in front of him. Hanging from the dumpster was a body, male and dead if the blood stains from the mouth said anything. Not only that, but the sight of the leopard Grongi, Zu-Mebio-Da, holding up a dead body, the cause of death being neck snapping, both horrified and angered him.
Zu-Mebio-Da, as said before, is the Leopard Grongi. Her skin was black as cloth was wrapped around her fore arms, legs, and lower body. Armor covered her forehead and breasts as her hair was in braids as her face resembled somewhat of a leopard.
'Damn, I was too late!' Dai thought, but he still had a job to do. He may be too late, but if he could take this one out, then those of tomorrow could still live to see tomorrow. "Zu-Mebio-Da!"
Hearing her name, the Grongi turned to see Dai who had just summoned the Arcle belt. "Kuuga…"
"You've taken your last life!" Dai said before he finished the hand motions. "Henshin!"
However, before Dai could spread his arms and summon forth his armor, Mebio sped towards him at high speed, going faster than the naked eye could tract, and grabbed his neck, pushing him against the wall and proceeded to choke him.
"Did you really expect me to just stand there and let you transform?"
Dai gritted his teeth as air started to leave him. Acting fast, Dai raised both his legs and kicked Mebio off him, making her stumble back and releasing Dai while at the same time, Dai's lower body transformed. Getting up, Dai took a moment to catch his breath when Mebio attacked again. Quickly, Dai raised an arm to block a wide swing before pushing her back with a punch. Quickly following the attack, Dai punched her gut, making Mebio bend over, giving Dai the chance to right hook her face, making her spin back. Dai then soon gave the Leopard Grongi a haymaker before finishing it off with a right uppercut, sending the Grongi flying back into a pile of garbage as Dai finished his transformation into Mighty Form.
Mebio growled and glared at Dai, throwing garbage bags off her. "You're gonna pay for that!"
Dai didn't say anything as he got into a boxing stance, fists raised in front of his face before he beckoned the Grongi to come at him. Falling for his taunt, Mebio charged at Dai.
Mebio went for a swipe to Dai's head, but he raised an armed and blocked the and sent two jabs to the Grongi's face, making her reel back which gave Dai the chance to run up and sent a punch to her gut, making her hunch over before Dai clasped both his hands together and slammed Mebio down to the ground. Dai raised a fist and sent it down to the Grongi, but she quickly rolled out of the way and swept Dai's leg, making him fall down. Mebio took the chance to get up and get some distance between Dai who too got back up. Mebio took a stance, claws out as Dai got back into a boxing stance.
"I will admit, I underestimated you. You're strong for someone so young." Mebio said.
"Coming from you, that doesn't mean much." Dai said. "No matter what, I will stop the Gegeru!"
"Heh, try all you want, but…" Mebio relaxed her stance and took out a single rose petal. "The Gegeru has already begun."
"In that case, I'll just have to make sure I send you guys back underground, permanently this time!" Dai said.
But then…
*WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO! WEE-WOO!*
"Nani!?" Dai said when all of a sudden, police cars started to appear and surround them. Coming to a stop, policemen got out and pointed their guns at the both of them. Among them was Ryō's friend, Kuzaragi Rai as he aimed his gun.
"Don't be scared men!" Rai shouted to everyone.
'Shit! The police!' Dai thought, remembering Ryō's warning about the order to shoot on sight. Wait a minute. If the police are here and Mebio is here, and if he remembers the show correctly, then what happens next is… 'Shit!'
"Fire!"
*BANG-BANG-BANG!*
'Double shit!' Dai thought as he covered himself when he felt the bullets hit his armor. They didn't hurt him; just caused sparks to appear, but that didn't change one fact right now. 'I'm being shot at! I'm actually being fucking shot at!'
Despite his panic, Dai had to make sure Mebio didn't get shot in the eye. Quickly, he went and grabbed Mebio by the waist and pulled her away.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
"That's what I'm wondering!" Dai said. Was he saving Mebio or saving the police from a future problem? He really didn't know at this point.
But then, Dai's fear was made reality.
*BANG!*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Dai didn't have to look to know what had just happened.
'Triple shit!' Wow, that's a lot of shit.
Acting fast, Dai tossed Mebio away and kicked her out of the line of fire. In pain, Mebio chose to retreat and ran, using her super speed to quickly escape.
Dai wasn't so lucky.
"Everyone, focus your fire on No. 4!"
*BANG-BANG-BANG!*
'Son of a bitch!' Dai thought as he covered himself again. Quickly Dai used his abilities and jumped out of the line of fire and on top of a building. The policemen turned to see where he jumped and Dai didn't give them a chance to fire again as he jumped away from the place.
"Tch! It got away." Rai said as he and everyone lowered their guns. The sound of another pair of sirens caught his attention and he turned to see Ryō arriving in his car.
Quickly getting out of his car, Ryō asked, "What happened!?"
"Both No. 4 and No. 5 escaped though I think we managed to injure No. 5." Rai said.
"Really?" Ryō sighed, knowing that Dai got away alright.
"Why do you look relieved?" Rai asked.
"Uh, nothing." Ryō said.
(The Next Day)
It was a new day in the city as people went through the normal routine of their lives. Unknown to them, Pisard stood on top of a building, looking down at all of them as he thought of what to do next. With how mad his lord was, he had to take some chances now. But how?
"Hm?' Pisard looked down at Verone Students heading to school. Now that he thought about it, those girls, Nagisa and Honoka, were wearing the same uniform. He looked down again and noticed someone walking in the same direction as the students.
He smiled. 'Perfect.'
(Verone Academy)
"I can't believe Dai was shot by the police!" Nagisa said to Honoka who were talking in private. Along the way to school, the girls had been told what had happened last night and were shocked when they learned that their friend was shot at by the police.
"I'm glad he's alright, but why would the police do such a thing?" Honoka wondered. It was minutes away until the girls had to gather to be introduced to the new student teacher transfers so they had little time to talk.
"Don't ask me! I'm not the police!" Nagisa said as she held her head in confusion. When Dai told them, he didn't seemed angry or anything. Rather, he said, 'I was afraid I was gonna start oozing all over the place!' It's just like him to make comments like that. "Nothing makes sense!"
Honoka checked the time and saw that they had to get going. "We'll talk with Dai later. Right now, we have to get going."
Nagisa nodded in agreement. Her head could take all this right now and needed some time to process this before she could question Dai and maybe Ryō if she got the chance.
(Meanwhile, with Dai)
Dai quietly wrote in a notebook as the class progressed. Last night had sucked, but he didn't blame the police. They were just doing their job. The problem right now was that they had shot Mebio's eye and if the TV series said anything, she was going to get her revenge on the police force and he had to stop her before she killed too many.
But there was one problem. In a normal fight, he was confident that he could beat her. But he first had to catch her and that was the problem right now. He didn't have the necessary speed to keep up with her. What he needed was Kuuga's primary means of transportation.
He needed the TryChaser 2000.
'But does it even exist?' Dai thought. He actually needed something that traveled faster than 270 km/h (75 mph), but he would prefer if he had the TryChaser 2000. He couldn't be a Kamen Rider without a bike after all and he was Kuuga so he had to ride either the TryChaser 2000 or the BeatChaser 2000.
'Ugh! So much to do…' Dai thought as he groaned, catching everyone's attention.
"Ichi-kun, is something the matter?" The teacher asked.
"No, I'm good." Dai said…until he saw something moving at high speeds ran past the school. Soon after, police cars were seen chasing after it. "Actually, I need to go the nurses' office."
Quickly getting up, Dai ran out of the room. If that was what he thought it was, then he needed to act.
(With Ryō, Hours Ago)
"So you're telling me that No. 4 is actually just a 15 year old kid?" Rai asked as he and Ryō were eating lunch at Date's noodle stand.
Ryō nodded. His friend, Rai, had demanded why he had had been acting strangely and he had no other choice, but to tell him. So why not tell him while enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen?
"That sounds hard to believe, and I've known you for 10 years." Rai said. "I'll have to see it to believe it."
"Suit yourself." Ryō said before he focused his attention back on his bowl. He was hungry and he can't protect the people on an empty stomach.
"I heard from a friend that the police are going to announce the existence of these Unidentified Lifeforms to the people." Date said as he was making a second bowl. Ryō was big eater, even if he didn't look like it.
Rai nodded and pointed to his friend next to him. "There's going to be a meeting and Ryō here was selected to represent Tokyo."
"I see." Date said.
"Seconds please." Ryō said, setting down his finished bowl. But then, his phone rang. Picking it up, he answered, "Hello?"
-Ichijo-kun, No. 5 has just reappeared and has been attacking police officers!-
"Nani?" That second bowl will have to wait.
-Policemen are now chasing it as we speak. We need all the help we can get.-
"We're on our way." Ryō said before he ended the call. "Rai, No. 5 has reappeared."
"Say no more." Rai said, setting down his half-finished bowl. He wasn't a big or fast eater like Ryō after all. "Since No. 5 is so fast, we better move fast or we'll never catch it."
"Actually, I was hoping we can stop by some place first." Ryō said.
(Present)
Dai ran out of the school gates and ran towards the direction the police cars went. But he didn't get far when all of a sudden, another police car drove past him and came to a stop before Ryō stepped out.
"Ichijo-san?" Dai ran up to the man. "What are you doing here?"
"I came here to see you." Dai pointed to himself and Ryō nodded.
"This is the kid?" Rai asked, getting out.
"Who's he?" Dai asked.
"A friend." Ryō said. "Look, I'm sure you already know considering I just saw you run out of your school, but No. 5 has reappeared and is for some reason targeting policemen."
"It's targeting policemen because one shot out her right eye and now she's out for revenge against the police." Dai explained.
"There was a report saying that a policeman shot No. 5's right eye." Rai said. "Wait a minute, how do you know that?"
"Cause I was there where you shot me." Dai said.
"Ichi-kun, I need your help." Ryō said.
"I'd love to help, but unless you got something that can go faster than 270 km/h, then I don't know what help I'll be." Dai said.
"What do you mean?" Ryō asked.
"Zu-Mebio-Da, No.5 real name, runs at a speed of 270 km/h believe it or not." Dai explained. "Unless you have something that can go faster than that, then I'll have more of a problem catching her before I actually fight her."
"Faster than 270 km/h…" Ryō muttered to himself. To think these things can run at speeds that fast. Wait a minute, faster than 270 km/h… "I know just what you need."
"You do?" Dai said.
"Hold on." Rai interrupted. "Ryō, you're not actually thinking of giving this kid…that, are you?"
"Rai, as much as I hate to admit it, he's the only one with a fighting chance against these things." Ryō said before he gestured for Dai to get into the car. "Get in. I'll get you the speed you're looking for."
"Arigato." Dai said before he got into the car.
"Can't believe I'm doing this." Rai said before he too got in the car.
(With the girls)
"…hand in hand, let's study together." Said the student transfer, finishing his speech before he left the stage.
The students clapped as the teacher bowed.
"That was student teacher Mr. Yamaguchi Naoto." The Vice Principal said.
"Well, I guess you can say he's cute." Shiho whispered to her friends.
"The last one is Mr. Kazuma Yuuichi." The Vice Principal said as the last student teacher transfer took the stage.
"It's the ikemen!" Shiho squealed as the other students clapped.
"Wow, he's totally good looking!" The teacher said before she realized what she said and covered her mouth.
Walking onto the stage was none other than Pisard, but looking different than usual. His skin was no longer white and was just pale. His hair was the same, just shorter as he wore a dark blue suit.
His plan of getting into the school had worked perfectly. Now, to find the girls.
'They must be in the crowd somewhere…' Pisard thought as he scanned the crowd and soon spotted Nagisa who was busy talking to her friends. 'Heh, there you are…" Satisfied, Pisard left the stage, leaving everyone in confusion.
With the introductions over, the students were then told to return to class as each student teacher transfer were assigned a mentor. For Pisard, he was assigned to the girl's teacher.
"Pleased to meet you. I am your mentor, Takenouchi Yoshimi." Yoshimi introduced herself to Pisard who didn't answer back. Not even bothered by his lack of answer, Yoshimi blushed. "You can call me Yoshimi, if you like. This might be destiny that you and I are teaching in the same school. Don't you feel like this is fate?" She was totally smitten, just saying. When she got no reply from him, she said, "Oh, you're embarrassed…Younger guys are just so cute!"
Pisard then stopped walking. As Yoshimi had been talking, he had been thinking of how to get close to the girls when he had an idea.
"Mr. Kazuma, we should hurry since class will be starting soon." Yoshimi said. Pisard just looked at her, making her blush again. "Oh my, your eyes are staring at me so deeply…"
Placing one finger on her forehead, Pisard got the teacher to stop talking as he sent her commands.
"I order you, bring me this girl." An image of Nagisa flashed in her mind before Yoshimi's eyes dulled, losing emotion as she was under Pisard's complete control. Seeing that he had her under his control, he looked around before looking at the gymnasium building. "I'll be waiting here."
"…Hai…"
(Back with Dai)
"We're here." Ryō said as Rai stopped the car in a parking garage that was right under the police station.
Before anyone could get out of the car, the radio started to buzz as it was getting a transmission.
-Calling all units. No. 5 has moved from has moved from Hongou into Koko. It is presently surrounded, but it is attempting to break though. We have at present; 23 deaths, 11 injured, and 8 damaged vehicles. Requesting immediate backup! I repeat; No. 5 has moved from has moved from Hongou into Koko. "Shit!" Rai cursed. "Ryō, hurry and give the kid what he needs. I'll go on ahead and backup the men."
Ryō nodded before he and Dai got out of the car. Once out, Rai drove the car out of the garage and drove off.
"Ichijo-san, whatever it is you want to give me, can we please hurry." Dai said. "The longer we stand here and talk the more lives Mebio will take."
Ryō nodded but had to ask the teen one thing first. "Ichi Dai. Tell me, why are you so willing to help those you don't even know?"
"That's…" Flashes of the past played in his mind before he balled his fist and looked at Ryō. "I'm just protecting what I think is important. You think the same way, don't you?"
Ryō resisted the urge to smirk as he adjusted his glasses and said, "Follow me."
Dai said nothing as he followed the policeman to a door that had a sign that said 'Keep Out.' He took out a keycard and swiped it on the scanner before the door unlocked and they entered the dark room. Closing the door, Ryō turned on the lights, blinding Dai for a bit as the lights were a bit bright. After he regained his vision, what he saw made his jaw drop.
"No…way…" What was laid before him was none other than Kuuga's personal bike, the TryChaser 2000. Like in the show, it was mostly white and black as the handles were behind black horns. It looked exactly like the real one when it was first introduced in the show.
"This is the TryChaser 2000." Ryō said, closing Dai's mouth as he walked down the stairs and Dai soon followed him. "This is the newest police motorcycle. This surpasses everything comparable in older models. Its top recorded speed is 300 km/h, just the kind of speed you need."
"Is…Is it really okay for me to have this?" Dai asked as he got on and placed his hands on the handles when his right hand met empty space. The Try-Acceler Rod was missing. "Where's the…?"
"Right here." Ryō said as in his hands was the missing grip, having just taken it out of a briefcase. He then inserted the grip in and turns the key-code until it landed on the numbers 0-3-1-8. Once it did, the bike came to life.
'I can't believe it! The real TryChaser! I'm actually going to ride it!' Dai thought excitedly.
"I'll be right behind you." Ryō said as he went to go open the garage.
Dai nodded before he summoned the Arcle Belt.
"Henshin!"
Placing his hands on the handle, Dai kicked off the stand as his armor materialized. Seeing that he was ready, Ryō opened the garage as Dai revved the engines. Once the garage door in front of him was fully open, he was off.
'Get ready, Mebio, because I'm coming for you!' Dai thought as he raced down the street.
(Back with the girls)
"Misumi-san, could you help me for a bit?" The controlled Yoshimi asked as she stood in front of the girl she was order to bring.
"Sure." Nagisa said as she got up from her seat before following the teacher out of the room.
Honoka watched as the two left the room. She couldn't put her finger on it, but something about the teacher didn't seem right.
A couple of minutes passed and the class began to talk to one another.
"Hey, isn't that teacher late?"
"Yeah, she is."
"I'll go check up on them." Honoka said before she left the room.
With Nagisa, she and Yoshimi were almost to the gym, much to Nagisa's confusion.
"What is there to do in the gym?" Nagisa asked as they walked.
"If you go inside, you'll see." Yoshimi said monotony.
Opening the door, Nagisa went inside and was met with Pisard who had his arms crossed.
"I've been waiting for you, ojou-san (young lady)." Pisard said.
"Ara? You're that student teacher from before." Nagisa said as she walked up to him, not realizing that it was Pisard.
"Take out the Prism Stone and give it to me." Pisard demanded, cutting to the chase.
"Prism Stone…It can't be!"
"About time you noticed, but it's too late!" Jumping, Pisard got rid of his human disguise and stood next to Yoshimi. "Now then, take out the stone, otherwise I can't guarantee what will happen to her."
"Sensei!"Nagisa shouted, but Yoshimi didn't respond.
"Calling her is futile." Pisard said.
"What have you done to her!?" Nagisa demanded.
"Just hurry up and take it out." Pisard said, talking about the Prism Stone.
"I don't have it with me!" Nagisa said, having left Mepple with her bag back in class.
"Don't play with me!" Pisard said as one of his sharp nails extended, just touching Yoshimi's bare neck.
"Yamate (Stop it!)!" Nagisa pleaded. "I really don't have it with me!"
"Well, that's unfortunate for you." Pisard said.
"Hold it right there!" Honoka's voice echoed in the gym as said girl soon appeared with both Mepple and Mipple in hand.
"Yukishiro-san!" Nagisa was glad to see her.
"I have what you want right here!" Honoka said, holding up both pouches.
Pisard laughed evilly as he turned to Honoka. "Well then, give it to me."
"Sensei!" Nagisa cried out as she took her chance and reached out for her teacher, but she was pulled away as Pisard grabbed Nagisa by her shoulder.
"Playtime is over!" Pisarrd said as he pushed Nagisa back.
"Sensei!" Honoka quickly ran to her teacher who laid on the floor. "Sensei, get a hold of yourself! Sensei!" She didn't get a response, but Yoshimi's eyes were still open so she was alright for the time being.
"You two have to transform-mipo!" Mipple said from her carrier.
"Right!" Honoka said before she grabbed Mepple and threw him to Nagisa. "Misumi-san!"
"Eh? What happened-mepo?" Mepple muttered, just awakening from his sleep as Nagisa caught him.
"Mepple, ikuyo (let's go)!" Nagisa said.
"Eh? Now-mepo?" Mepple asked, having just fully awaken as Nagisa and Honoka slashed the Queen card.
"Duel Aurora Wave!"
An explosion of lights and rainbows almost threw Pisard back as seconds later, the light died down, revealing both Cure Black and Cure White.
"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"
"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"
"Futari wa PreCure!"
"Servant of the Dark Power…"
"Return to the darkness from which you came!"
"Hehe, today I will definitely put an end to you both, especially now that your friend isn't here." Pisard said, confident.
"Nani?" Honoka said.
"What do you mean by that?" Nagisa asked.
"Let's just say that he's a bit busy at the moment." Pisard said before he spread his arms out. "Raging spirits of the heavens, Zakenna! Heart of darkness, make them understand the horror of the Dark Power!"
Outside, the sky blackened as dark energy gathered before it entered the gym and changed the surroundings around the girls.
"Go, Zakenna!"
"ZAKENNA!"
(With the police)
After hours of driving, Rai came to a stop as he arrived at his destination. Getting out his gun, he stepped out his car and saw that the body count from the last report has just increased as men lay bleeding on the ground. Looking around, he saw no sign of the Grongi.
"Where is it?" Rai thought out loud as he and other men that arrived with him looked around with caution. They were facing something non-human so they had to stay cautious.
Suddenly…
"Argh!" Everyone turned to see their target appear on one policeman, legs wrapped our his neck before one snapping sound later, the men fell to the ground as Mebio jumped off the dead man.
"Bitch!" Rai cursed as he and the others fired. They either missed or had no effect as Mebio landed between two men, grabbed their necks, and snapped them, killing them as the threw down the bodies and slashes another man in the face, drawing blood as the man fell to the ground, holding his face in pain. Rai was all alone now as Mebio turned her sights on him.
"Son of a-!" Rai raised his gun, but it was stuck out his hands as Mebio grabbed him by the neck and pushed him against his car, breaking the window behind him. Rai gritted his teeth as Mebio raised her free hand and got it ready to stab the man to death.
"This is for my eye!" Mebio said, but of course, Rai didn't understand her.
But before Mebio could even throw her arm…
*VROOM!*
Dai soon appeared, attempting to ram Mebio, but she let go of Rai in order to dodge. Coming to a stop, Dai directed his bike towards the Grongi and lifted his front wheel and bashed Mebio away before landed and doing the same thing again only with the back wheel. Once dealt with, Dai turned to Rai who held his neck.
"Are you alright?" Dai asked.
"That voice…you're the kid!" Rai said in surprise.
"About time you figured that out." Dai said. "I'll deal with her. You go help with any injured."
Rai simply nodded as he ran off. With that dealt with, Dai turned his attention to Mebio who got up.
"Kuuga!"
"I'm back, Mebio! This time, for real, you've taken your last life!" Dai said before he revved his engines and charged at the Leopard Grongi.
Instead of engaging the Rider, Mebio turned and ran for it. That didn't stop Dai as his charge was turned into chasing after the Grongi. He was still on his new bike after all.

Mebio was a complete blur to the normal eye, but so was Dai on his TryChaster as he chased after the speeding Grongi. Before long, they entered a traffic jam. Taking her chance, Mebio jumped and went from car to car, jumping and jumping in order to keep away from the Rider. Looking behind her, the Grongi was surprised to see that Dai wasn't the least bit slowing down as he drove his bike like a professional, zooming and swerving past cars as his entire focus was all on stopping her. Seeing that the Rider's new metal horse was faster than she thought, she thought a bit of fun was in order and quickly ran her top speed as she ran out of the traffic jam and turned a corner. Looking behind, she scoffed as she saw no sign of the Rider. Looks like she was still the fastest-!
*VROOM!*
"What!?" Mebio cried out in surprise and disbelief as she saw Dai enter out of an alleyway and ram into her, sending her flying across the street as people stopped to see what happened and quickly when they laid their eyes on Mebio and Dai.
"What's wrong, Mebio?" Dai asked as he revved the engines. "We're you supposed to be fast?"
"Grrr, don't mock me!" Mebio shouted before she jumped claws out. Dai quickly moved out of the way from his seat as Mebio flew past him and soon ran. Turning his bike, Dai raced after the Grongi.
Mebio soon entered a street as cars drove by and past her as Dai soon entered the same street she was in, just barely dodging a speeding car as the car honked its horn at him. Quickly apologizing, Dai refocused his attention back on Mebio who was racing and jumping past cars. For Dai, he drove his new bike carefully and with skill as he moved just in time to avoid speeding cars and actually jumped over a car when there was no way of moving out of the way. Landing safely, the two speeding beings got out of the streets and entered an empty street.
'Wait a minute, I know this street.' Dai thought. 'This is the way to school!' Had he and Mebio really been running/driving that fast that they already made it back to the city?
(BGM End)
'Mebio won't stop running unless I corner her. Got to get her to follow me.' Dai thought as he revved the bike and drove at the bike's maximum speed, soon passing Mebio which surprised her.
"What the!?"
"Catch me if you can slowpoke!" Dai taunted in Grongi as he drove towards the school. Falling for his taunt, Mebio raced after the Rider.
'Good she's following me.' Dai thought before he saw something. The sky above the gymnasium was a strange color, a color he and the girls have experienced when it came to facing a certain albino man. 'The girls need help!' Still going at maximum speed, Dai drove towards the Gymnasium and came to a sudden stop, looking back to see Mebio speeding towards him. Acting, he revved the engines and spun in a circle by the front wheel as the back wheel hung suspended and where it struck Mebio across the face, sending her flying and crashing through the gymnasium door. Turning his bike, Dai drove it inside and saw that indeed, the girls were in trouble.
In Dai's eyes, he saw Pisard standing to the side as he heard both the girls wrapped inside the stage banner that seemed to be alive, probably the work of the Zakenna.
"You!?" Pisard said, surprised to Dai and on a motorcycle.
"Let them go!" Dai demanded as he got off his bike.
"I thought you were keeping him busy!" Pisard said to the Grongi who was on her knees.
"I was!" Mebio surprisingly didn't speak Grongi when she spoke.
"Tch! Well, it doesn't matter." Pisard said as he turned to Dai. "You want me to release your friends so badly? Then here! Zakenna!"
"ZAKENNA!" The Zakenna responded and started to spin around as the girls cried from inside.
"Girls!" Dai cried out in worry. Then, the Zakenna spitted both the girls and Yoshimi out. While he was surprised to see the girl's teacher, he pushed it back in the back of his mind as he jumped and got behind the girls in time before they crashed into the wall, Dai taking most of the force of the crash.
"Dai-kun/Ichi-kun!?" Both girls were surprised to see their friend appear all of a sudden while also worried for him.
"I'm alright, this is nothing!" Dai said as they slid off the wall. "What's wrong with her?"
"We don't know." Honoka said as she and Nagisa held their teacher who was unconscious at the moment.
"How dare you do this to her!?" Nagisa said to the albino man.
"We'll never forgive you!" Honoka said as she and Nagisa got back up.
"Let's so, White!" Nagisa said.
Honoka nodded. "Right!"
The both of them clasped their hands together, ready to unleash their signature attack.
"Black Thunder!"
"White Thunder!"
*BOOM!*
Outside, a storm raged as somehow, the black and white lightning made it inside the building and into the girl's outstretched hands.
"Purikyua no utsukushiki tamashī ga…"
"... Jaaku na kokoro wo uchikudaku!"
They tighten their hands together before they extended their free hands out and shouted.
"Pretty Cure Marble Screw!"
Their attack ran true and it struck the Zakenna, but something was different. The explosion of light was greater than before as the explosion sent Pisard flying out of the building.
"NANI!?" Pisard shouted in disbelief before he was…Ahem, blasting off again.
"Zakenna!" The spirits of the Zakenna rose out of the gym equipment and stage before they exploded into tiny stars like always and said stars ran away.
"It's them again…" Nagisa commented as the little stars ran away.
"Don't relax yet girls." Dai said as the girls turned and saw that Mebio was still with them.
"Tch!" Mebio ran for the exit, but Dai blocked her way.
"And where do you think you're going?" Dai asked.
Mebio ticked again and jumped up to the upper floor.
"Don't let her escape!" Dai said.
Seeing that the fight was far from over, the girls jumped up the upper floor, landing right in front of the Grongi.
"Who the hell are you two!?"
Not knowing what she said, the girls didn't answer as they kicked together, their combined kick sending the Grongi crashing to the bottom.
"Girls, get Yoshimi-sensei out of here! I'll deal with her!" Dai said as Mebio got back up from her fall and turned to Dai who entered a stance.
The girls nodded and jumped down to where Yoshimi laid before picking her up and ran outside, but they didn't get far as the police soon showed up, having gotten reports that No. 4 and No. 5 were at Verone Academy.
"Dai-kun, the police!" Nagisa said.
"A bit busy right now!" Dai said as he ducked under a swipe and punched Mebio's gut, making her step back.
"Cancel your transformations you two-mepo!" Mepple instructed. "You can't let people see you the way you are-mepo!"
The girls nodded and quickly canceled their transformations, returning to their civilian forms in time as Ryō, Rai, and other policemen rushed into the gym and saw the girls, Dai/No. 4 fighting Mebio/No. 5.
"Who are you two?" Rai asked the girls.
"Um…" Honoka tried to think up an excuse for the both for them when Ryō came in for the rescue.
"They're friends with Dai." Ryō said.
Now knowing that Dai was No. 4, he and the other policeman turned their attention to Dai fighting Mebio.
"No. 4!" A random police remembered his orders to shoot on sight. To him, the both of them were monsters so he quickly got out his gun and aim before he fired at Dai who was kicked back by Mebio so the shot missed him.
"Whoa!" Dai jumped in surprise when the bullet missed him. "Hey! Watch it!"
"Don't shoot!" Nagisa was the first to act and jumped to grab the man's arms.
"Hey, get off me you little-!"
"Dai-uh, the red one saved us!" Nagisa quickly corrected herself.
Rai then stepped in and stopped the two.
"Don't shoot, rookie." Rai said.
"Kuzaragi-san?"
"No. 4 saved my life too." Rai said before the rookie finally lowered his gun.
Seeing that he didn't have to worry about being shot at, Dai turned his entire attention back to Mebio. Getting into a boxing stance, the two circled one another slowly, waiting for one of them to attack. Mebio was the first to attack, running and leading in with a snapping kick. Dai back away and spun around to deliver a spinning heel kick, but to his surprise, Mebio caught it and spun him around, throwing up to the stage. Getting up quickly, Dai saw Mebio coming with a flying kick which he quickly ducked under. Landing on the stage, Mebio turned around to face Dai who got back to his feet and raised his hands to fight. Mebio went for a swipe to Dai's face who moved his head out of the way. Mebio then went for a stab with her other, but Dai grabbed it before it could connect with his helmet before delivering a quick succession of punches to her gut, making her bend over as Dai spun her around and kicked her off the stage.
Mebio fell down on her back and looked up to see Dai jump off and going for a stomp to her head. She quickly moved out of the way as Dai's stomp just struck the ground. Mebio threw a roundhouse, but Dai ducked under it and jumped onto her back, wrapping his arms around her neck in order to choke her. Call it payback for their last fight. Mebio struggled to get Dai's arms off her as she starting to lose air. Thinking of a different plan, Mebio reached and grabbed Dai by his shoulder before she flipped him over her, throwing him to the ground. Dai almost had the wind knocked out of him when his back hit the floor hard. He then saw Mebio going for a stab to his head again and quickly rolled out of the way before getting up to his feet. Wanting to end things now, Dai entered a boxing stance again, his desired move in his mind as Mebio charged at him. She swiped and stabbed at the Rider who just dodged and dodged. The timing wasn't right yet. Dodge and dodge and dodge was Dai continued to do as he dodged in a cycle, gathering momentum until he saw the perfect opportunity and raised his foot before he slammed it down on Mebio's foot, making her grunt in pain as Dai twisted his hip and sent his fist to her face.
*POW!*
A resounding pounding sound echoed throughout the gym as Dai twisted his hip again and sent his other fist to her face.
*POW!*
And again.
*POW!*
And again.
*POW!*
And again.
*POW!*
Until it all spiraled into what many would know as the famous Dempsey Roll.
*POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW-POW!*
The last punch sent Mebio flying the minute Dai moved his foot off her foot where she flew and crashed into the wall. Seeing that she wasn't moving, Dai knew that now was his chance as Dai moved his left foot back and charged his right foot for a Mighty Kick. Seconds later, his foot was lit on fire. Ready, Dai charged towards the Leopard Grongi as his flaming foot left imprints on the floor. But instead of jumping up into the air, Dai jumped and rolled on the floor before he pushed off his hands and flew towards Mebio, kicking foot out as it connected with her chest. She gave out a cry of pain before she was sent through the wall and flying as Dai flipped back and landed on his knees as Mebio cried out with Dai's mark on her chest glowing.
"KUUGA~!"
*BOOM!*
The outside lit up from the explosion, causing everyone from inside the school to wonder what the heck happened as they opened their windows to see what happen.
Back in the gym, everyone stared wide eyed at Dai as almost all of them had their jaws dropped at what happened.
"Did No. 4 just perform a Dempsey Roll?"
"Was his foot on fire?"
"No. 5 just exploded!"
And etc.
Dai turned to Ryō and the others and did the first thing in his mind. He raised his hand…and gave them a thumbs up.
The girls smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up in return as they both thought, 'Classic Dai-kun/Ichi-kun.'
Ryō then did something that surprised Rai and the other policemen. He smirked as he turned around and walked away but not before he returned the gesture and gave Dai a thumbs up.
(The Next Day)
"Ugh…Yesterday was exhausting." Nagisa groaned in exhaustion as she and Honoka were at the train station. After the incident yesterday, classes were canceled. The girls were called in for questioning, but lucky for the, Ryō was the one to interrogate them. He told them what he and the police knew about the Unidentified Lifeforms and that Dai was treated as one so the police will be following him closely before he let them go. Later that night, news of the Unidentified Lifeforms was announced on TV as photos and even video footage was provided as evidence.
"I sure didn't expect that man to invade our school like that." Honoka said, talking about Pisard. "It's a good thing that Yoshimi-sensei is alright."
"Yeah." Nagisa said before she looked around the street. "Where is Dai? He told us that he had a surprise for us."
Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
*VROOM!*
Both girls turned to see someone riding on a motorbike as the rider stopped right in front of them.
"Surprise!" The rider said.
Both the girls blinked before they realized who the rider was.
"Dai-kun!?" Nagisa said and Dai nodded as the motorbike was none other than the TryChaser 2000.
"Yep!" Dai moved his visor of his new helmet up as he smiled under the helmet. "How do you like my new ride?"
"This is yours!?" Nagisa asked and Dai nodded.
"Yep!"
"Where did you get this?" Honoka asked. She that Dai didn't have the kind of money to afford something like this.
"I got it from the police." Dai answered.
"The police?" Both girls said at the same time.
Thinking the worse, Nagisa asked, "Dai, you didn't…steal this, did you?"
"Of course not! Ichijo-san gave this to me when I fought Mebio yesterday." Dai said.
"This is amazing…" Honoka said. "What are you going to do now? You can't ride the train with this."
"I know. I'm gonna take the long way to school." Dai pushed his visor down and revved the engine of his bike. "See you girls at school!"
And with that, Dai drove off, leaving the girls dumbfounded. On the road, Dai smiled under his helmet as he kept his eyes on the road. Sure, he might be a little late to school since he was taking the long way, but he wanted to enjoy the feeling of driving on his new TryChaser 2000.
"This! Is! The Greatest!" Dai shouted as he sped up.
And done! Holy gods that was long! In fact, this is the longest chapter for this story to date! Jesus! But anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter. Dai finally has his bike and is really enjoying it like a true Kamen Rider fan. "We're sorry we couldn't be here sooner, but the author was in a different country with bad wifi and had his new story to work on-mipo." Mipple said.
"The author should be careful to not overwork himself." Honoka said.
"So, what are we seeing today?" Nagisa asked.
"I'm glad you asked-mepo!" Mepple said. "Today, we shall be looking at Dai's new bike, the TryChaser 2000-mepo!" Said bike appeared on screen.
"I've never seen a bike quite like that before." Honoka commented.
"The TryChaser 2000 is, according to the wiki, a new model of police motorcycle, designed to be faster and more powerful than the conventional bikes utilized by the police force at the time-mipo." Mipple explained.
"Some of the TryChaser's unique features include its activation-mepo." Mepple explained. "To activate it requires both the Try-Acceler Rod, the bike's right grip that functions as a start-up key, and a four-digit keycode. In the series, Ichijo Kaoru would give the prototype to Godai Yusuke, believing he is the only one who can successfully beat the Unidentified Life Forms. In this story, the same reason is applied here to Ryō and Dai. In the series, Yusuke would later alter TryChaser's color scheme via a keycode, giving it its signature red, white, and gold look and of course, Dai will do the same later on in the story-mepo."
"Is it true that this bike can go up to 300 km/h?" Honoka asked.
"That's right-mipo." Mipple said. "According to the wiki, the TryChaser 2000 has a length of 2.4m (7.87ft), a height of 1.25m (4.1ft), and its top speed is 300km/h (186mph)-mipo."
"That's fast!" Nagisa said. "Oh, why does Dai get the good stuff and I'm stuck with you?"
"Hey! What does that mean!? I'm way better than that hunk of metal-mepo!" That earned him a slap to the face via paper fan. "Ite-mepo!"
"Mepple!" Mipple cried out in worry as she went to check up on the chosen hero.
Well, that's all we have for today, readers." Honoka said. "Tune in next time for Dai's first Chou Henshin!"
"See you next time!" Nagisa said as she and Honoka waved goodbye while Mipple was too bust attending to Mepple.
