Ichi Dai had a somewhat good life. Working at his uncle's orphanage, taking care of the kids, and so on. But on his birthday, he was suddenly transported to PreCure no Sekai. After a year of living in this new world, he later finds out that Grongi are here, causing chaos and death wherever they go. As the new Kamen Rider Kuuga, he must protect this world's smile. "Chou Henshin!"

12. Ride 12: The End of Kamen Rider Already?

Hello Fanfiction readers! Ashbel Longhart here back with another exciting chapter of A New Legend! I'm glad everyone is enjoying the story thus far. Now, before we continue, cue the disclaimer!

Alright, last time, Dai was feeling a bit homesick because of a Grongi, but he worked them out as he and the girls took down Gekidrago for good, earning them another Prism Stone! But now, it's time for Poisony to take a shot at our heroes. How will the group fair against this Dark Zone General? Well just read to find out! Chou Henshin!

Ride 12: The Evil Flower, Poisony Appears! The End of Kamen Rider Already!?

---

(One Year Ago)

Dai breathed in and out to calm down his nerves before he walked forward with purpose. As he walked, Shougo saw him and waved.

"Hey! Good to see ya." Shougo said as some members of the Soccer team were busy practicing while others were taking a break.

"Isn't he the new kid?" A tall man with a normal skin tone, brown eyes, and dark, teal colored hair said.

"Yeah." Shougo nodded before gesturing to the man next to him. "Dai-kun, this is my friend, Kimata."

"Hello." Dai nodded to the now named Kimata.

"So, how do you like Verone so far?" Shougo asked out of curiosity.

"It's pretty good." Dai said before he spoke about why he was here. "So, I thought about what you said when I first arrived here."

"You mean about joining the soccer club?" Dai just nodded. "Well, are you gonna join? Because we'd love to have you!"

"I thought about it a bit and decided that, yes I want to join." Dai said, having talked with Mr. and Mrs. Misumi beforehand.

"That's great! Welcome to the team!" Shougo said, smiling at Dai and Dai couldn't help, but return it. For some reason, he couldn't help, but think that they were gonna be good friends.

(One Year Later)

For the second time in their life, the girls found themselves in the questioning room with Dai as both Ryō and Rai sat across from them. On the table, both Mepple and Mipple, both showing themselves to the two adults, had just finished explaining their situation to Rai who had reacted to the two fairies in surprise.

"So let me get this straight: You two are fairies from another world and your home was attacked by this Dark Zone which stole these Prism Stones. You came to this world seeking help and found them in the form of these girls. So in secret, you fight this Dark Zone in order to get the Prism Stones back." Rai summarized.

"Yeah, that's pretty much it." Nagisa said nervously as she and Honoka wondered how Dai was so god damn calm. Then again, he worked with the police so there must have been a few who knew his secret.

"If it wasn't for what I saw at the aquarium a few days ago, I would have called bullshit." Rai said as he massaged the bridge of his nose. He then turned to Ryō. "And you knew about this?"

"I promised I would keep it secret." Ryō said. "The people are already panicked enough with the Unidentified Lifeforms. We don't need more panic at the fact that enemies from another world are attacking as well."

"Well, can't argue with that." Rai said before turning to Dai and the girls. "You kids must have it tough. Sorry we adults aren't as helpful as we should be."

"N-No! It's fine!" Honoka said, waving her hands. "You already have enough on your hands concerning the Unidentified Lifeforms."

"As much as the girls wanted help from the police, there's no way they'd believe them." Dai pointed out.

"True, any sane man wouldn't believe what these girls have told us." Rai said. "Still, it doesn't sit right with me that girls who aren't even done with junior high are fighting for their lives constantly."

"It's okay; I've been training them so they can better defend themselves." Dai said with a thumbs up.

"Really? Heh, guess that explains how Misumi-san here kicked butt last time." Rai said as Nagisa blushed in embarrassment at being addressed. "Anyway, like Ryō here, I'll also keep this info between us and I'll tell the men that were with us the same thing. But we can't guarantee we can cover you if your enemies get involved with our enemies."

Honoka and Nagisa both nodded. "We understand." And with that, the girls and Dai took their leave as Ryō and Rai saw them off.

Rai, smoking a cigarette, blew smoke out before speaking. "I swear, this is like something out of an anime or something."

Ryō let out a small laugh and smirked. "I thought the same thing."

(Insert STRIKE BACK by BACK-ON)

(Instrumental) The song starts as the camera rises up to show the legs of Kuuga before we get a sudden screen shot of Cure Black and Cure White before go back to Kuuga. Just as the camera is at the Arcle, we get a sudden shot of Mepple and Mipple before the camera gets to his chest. We then get another sudden shot of The PreCure cards surrounding Gouram before we go back to Kuuga whose back was facing the camera. He then suddenly turns around and punches the screen, cracking it as the title appears.

(Kidou sura kaerarenai kurai no kakuritsu da to shite mo) We now see Nagisa playing lacrosse with her team, catching a ball as Mepple is seen sleeping from Nagisa's bag.

(IPAASENTO demo areba mochiron teikou desho?) We then see Honoka with the members of the science club, doing an experiment that ended in an explosion as Mipple just giggles at the scene.

(Shosen, "unmei" to nagetsukerareta tte, No I won't!) We go to the city where police are examining a dead body. Ryō looks at the body before he walks away and gets out his phone, calling Dai.

(Hikkuri kaeshite, Because datte kimi to mirai wo miretara saikou janai?) Dai, riding on the TryChaser 2000, gets the call from his radio and speeds up, passing both Nagisa and Honoka as he races to meet up with Ryō.

(Bring it on! 'Cuz I'm just gonna grow up in the battle HEY! buchinuku donten!) Suddenly, the sky turns dark before the Dark King and his subordinates appears as well as an army of Zakenna appeared. Appearing with him was a shadow figure of N-Daguva-Zeba along with an army of Grongi.

(Still burning my fire ten wo kirsaku raimei I gotta kakikesu Nightmare tada mirai ga mitakute!) Nagisa and Honoka step in fear before Dai suddenly appeared behind them and gave them his signature smile and a thumbs up.

(Kako, mirai, soshite ikiteru ima, I ain't scared of my past and now for takusareta asu) Seeing his smile seemed to steel the girl's resolve as they took out the Queen PreCure and Dai summoned the Arcle belt.

(Screaming out for my pride!) A light then suddenly appears and appearing from it was Kamen Rider Kuuga along with Cure Black and Cure White, ready for battle.

(Namida mitakunai kara, sakebi tsudzukeru yo! Zutto...) Cure Black and Cure White engage a battle with some Zakenna before taking on Pisard, IIkubo, Poisony, Kiriya, and Gekidrago.

(I'm never falling down! oi kaze wo se ni fukitobasu Destiny!) Both sides trade blows for a bit before both girls held hands and fired their signature Marble Screw.

(Kono senaka ni aru, egao mamoritai kara! Zutto...) We see Kuuga kicking way a few Grongi, bashes them with the Dragon Rod while in his Dragon form, shoots a flying Grongi with his Pegasus Bowgun in his Pegasus form, slash a few more Grongi with his Titan Sword in his Titan form.

(I gotta blast off your pain for you and me! kanashimi nante Rest in peace!) Dai and the girls meet regroup as they face both the Dark King and N-Daguva-Zeba. Dai charges up a Mighty Kick before he jumps.

(Nando demo...) The girl then threw another Marble Screw as Dai kicks towards the two beings of darkness with the Marble Screw following close behind him before a light overtakes everything and we see a quick look at the blue sky before the song ends.

(With Nagisa)

Washing her face to wash away the sweat, Nagisa turned off the facet and wiped herself with a towel as Shiho spoke up.

"Hey, Nagisa, how was the aquarium?" Shigo asked. "You went with Yukishiro-san and Dai-kun, right?"

"Yeah, it was fun, but…" Nagisa trailed on as her mind wandered back to the aquarium which led her to think about what happened to Dai. Just thinking about it sent chill down her spine. She had never seen Dai so…angry.

"I heard that an Unidentified Lifeform showed up that day." Rina said after washing her face.

"Eh!? Nagisa, is that true!?" Shiho asked, worried.

"Uh, well, there were police cars everywhere while we were being evacuated so I think there was." Nagisa said, trying to act like she didn't know the whole truth. "Fortunately, no one got hurt."

"Well that's a relief." Rina said with a sigh of relief. "Seriously, these Unidentified Lifeforms keep popping out everywhere and when they do, people are always getting hurt or killed. It's really scary."

"It really is…" Shiho said. "Well, it's a good thing we've got the police and No. 4, right?"

"Y-Yeah…" Nagisa nodded while her thoughts went back Dai.

'Just…what was all that?' Nagisa thought as the day seemed to pass by for her in an instant and soon, she was out of school and was walking alone as her mind kept playing the events of the aquarium like a broken record for the past few days.

'The gigantic guy, Gekidrago, disappeared, leaving behind another one of the Prism Stones. I wish everything was finally over this time, but there are still three Prism Stones left. I wonder if those three are being kept in the Dark Zone…?' Nagisa sighed as her mind wandered from the Prism Stones and the Dark Zone to Dai and the Grongi. 'I still can't believe a Grongi showed up at the aquarium and Dai-kun still fought it despite his right hand not having fully recovered yet. Not only that, but that dark aura that appeared from Dai-kun, it's unlike anything me or Honoka have ever seen. And the way Dai-kun acted…' Nagisa gripped her lacrosse stick as the image of Dai beating up Gadora played in her mind. 'It's Dai-kun, the guy who always smiles and brings smiles to others, yet why can't I help, but be…scared? Just what exactly are those powers of his?' Nagisa let out a sigh of exhaustion. She was mentally exhausted already. 'The Dark Zone will keep attacking us as long as we have the other Stones and the Grongi attacks don't seem to be stopping. In fact, every time Dai-kun destroys one, another, more stronger one appears. Can Dai-kun even…?'

Nagisa sighs as she mutters, "Arienai(Unbelievable)…Huh?" Looking ahead, Nagisa saw a small group of people at a small stand. Curious, she went over to it.

"We've got some brand new chocolates for sale! Please try some!" A sales woman shouted out as she was selling packs and boxes of chocolates.

With the smile, the sales woman, dressed in an apron, gave some kids chocolate before waving them goodbye. She then saw Nagisa approaching and greeted her with a smile. "Hello there."

"What have you got there?" Nagisa asked.

"These are free samples. Would you like one?" The woman asked as she gestured to all of the different kinds of chocolates on the small table in front of her.

Instantly, Nagisa smiled. "Wow, it's chocolate! Is it okay if I have one?"

"Of course, go ahead." The woman said.

"Alright! Free chocolate!" Nagisa said, overjoyed.

"You sure love chocolate." The woman noted.

"I sure do." Nagisa said. "I love it so much that I hope heaven's made out of chocolate!"

"Well in that case, take as many as you would like." The woman said.

"Can I really!?" Nagisa asked in disbelief and the woman simply nodded. "What a strike of luck!"

"Don't you mean, 'stroke of luck?'" The woman corrected.

"Is that it? Oh who cares, it's my lucky day!" Nagisa said as she began to scan through the chocolates laid out.

"…Heh." Unknown to Nagisa, the woman had just gained an evil look on her face before she put back on her façade. AT the same time, from under the table, a Zakena appeared from her hand and silently went to Nagisa's pouch where it dug in and soon held up Mepple who was asleep before throwing it to the woman who caught it and quickly hid it just before Nagisa was done picking out what chocolates she'd like.

"Thank you very much, onee-san(lady)." Nagisa said.

"You're very welcome. Please make sure to try them all!" The woman said.

"I will!" Nagisa said before she took her leave.

The woman watched as Nagisa walked away. Once far enough, the woman once gain gained an evil look before her appearance changed to turns into none other than Poisony, another Dark Zone General.

"Misumi Nagisa: Verone Academy Student, member of the lacrosse club, excels in sports, is popular in school, favorite food is chocolate, and weak point is impatience." Poisony smirks as she holds up Mepple in her hands. "Now that I have this, it will be a cinch. However…"

"Are you worried about Kuuga?" Poisony glances behind her to an effeminate man in a white hat with long bleached hair. The man touches his lips and smirks confidently. "Do not worry. I'll be sure to take care of him myself. I assure you, you won't have to worry about him any longer."

"If you're so confident, then prove it to me." Poisony said as the man simply shrugged and walked away. "Now then, on to the next one…"

(Dark Zone)

Both Ilkubo and Kiriya stood before their lord, the Dark King who was clearly angry by the grunts of anger he was making. Both Dark Zone Generals wisely stayed silent, waiting until their lord was ready to speak.

After a while, the Dark King finally spoke. "I see another stone has been taken. Gekidrago's is gone along with Pisard's!"

"I apologize, my Lord." Ilkubo said.

"The only apology I accept is the power of the Prism Stones. The only way to obtain that power is with all seven of the stones. Destroy our enemies, take the Stones from them, and we shall consume everything with our Dark Power."

With that said, the Dark King let out another grunt of anger, this one blowing the winds as Ilkubo and Kiriya raised their arms in response.

Off in a hidden corner, Daguva was watching all this with little interest as he instead thought about the Grongi he had sent to help Poisony to deal with Kuuga.

"I wonder how you'll make it through this one…Kuuga…?"

(Hospital)

"How're you doing, Shougo?" Dai asked as he took a seat next to Shougo's bed.

"I'm doing fine." Shougo said as bandage wrappings were wrapped around his chest while his right and left leg were in casts. "I've still got a long way from healing though. Sigh, it's bad enough I'm missing practices…"

"Oi, focus on healing first. You can practice all you want once you're out of the hospital." Dai said before he dug into his bag and brought out a bento. "Anyway, here. I made you some lunch."

"Oh! You're a life saver!" Shougo said as Dai opened the bento for him and placed it on his lap before handing him some chopsticks. "The food here is terrible. And I thought that was something made up on TV."

"Well, now you know." Dai said before his phone suddenly rang. Taking it out, he looked at the Caller ID and answered. "Ichijo-san?"

-Ichi-kun! Unidentified Lifeform No. 26 just appeared in Shinjuku!-

"Got it. I'll come over right now." Dai said before he hanged up and got up. "Sorry, Shougo, but I gotta go."

"Leaving already?"

"Gomen(Sorry), but it's really important." Dai said as he grabbed his bag and raced out the door, but not before saying, I'll visit again later!"

(With Nagisa)

In no time at all, Nagisa made it back home as she placed her bag on her bed and all her boxes of chocolate on her desk, excited to try them all.

"Which one should I start with?" Nagisa thought out loud before realizing something. "Oh yeah, if I eat by myself no doubt Mepple will bug me about it so I better share some with him." She went to her bag and grabbed the pouch that held Mepple, but instead of grabbing the fairy himself…

"ZAKENNA!"

"Wah!?" Nagisa jumped back and fell on her behind when a Zakenna suddenly popped out of the pouch. "Nani o kore(What is this)!?"

Suddenly, from the boxes of chocolate, even more Zakenna's appeared, surrounding her as Nagisa was backed into a corner. Nagisa gritted her teeth, thinking of a way out of this when her lacrosse stick fell down on her. Quickly grabbing it, she got back up and swung her lacrosse stick around. Dai had not taught her or Honoka how to wield weapons so all she could do was swing her lacrosse stick around like a bat.

"Get out of here!" Nagisa exclaimed as she soon drove the Zakenna out of her room. Once they were all gone, Nagisa finally relaxed and sighed in relief before the current situation made itself known to her.

"What do I do? Mepple's been taken away by that chocolate lady…wait a minute." Nagisa realized that if that chocolate lady had taken Mepple then that would mean…

"Honoka's in danger!" Quickly, Nagisa tossed her lacrosse stick aside and raced out the door.

(Shinjuku)

"Is that so?" A man dressed in business attire spoke through the phone as he was currently waiting for a taxi to pass by. "Yes…yes…so we'll expect your good tomorrow. A pleasure working with you. Likewise. Thank you for always taking care of us. A pleasure working with you." And with that, he hanged up, satisfied with the conversation he had.

"Kochira koso yoroshiku(Likewise)." The man blinked before turning to see the bleached hair man who was walking up to him. Just seeing him gave the business man bad vibes.

"N-Nada kimi wa(W-Who are you)?" The man asked when the bleached man suddenly grabbed him. "What are you doing!? Let go of me!" The man struggled to break free, but to his surprise, the bleached man's strength was incredible and he soon found out why when right before his eyes, the bleached man transformed into a Grongi!

The Grongi's skin was brown as dried dirt. Shoulder armor covered his shoulders as wrists and ankle bands were wrapped around his wrists and ankles as a skirt of ruined cloth was wrapped around his lower body while its head weirdly resembled a mushroom. This is Me-Ginoga-De.

The man could only let out a scream of terror before Ginoga seemingly kissed him while pouring spores into the man before he literally dropped dead.

Minutes later, the sound of a motorbike was heard before Dai appeared, riding his Trychaser 2000. Dai soon came to a stop when he saw the man on the ground as Ginoga was nowhere to be found. Taking off his helmet, Dai quickly went to the man's side.

"Daijōbudesu ka(Are you alright)!?" Dai asked, but the man did not wake up. Dai checked the man and noticed how warm he still felt, meaning he was just recently killed. Which meant that the killer was still nearby.

Dai looked around to try and spot anything that may give him a clue before he turned around and saw Ginoga who was back in his human disguise who had checked off his latest kill by pushing down a prong on his bracelet before turning to Dai with a smile.

Ginoga went to approach Dai, but the Rider quickly kicked the Grongi away who was pushed back and his disguise dropped, letting Dai see who he was up against.

"Me-Ginoga-De!" Dai said.

"Oh? You know my name?" Ginoga said before he saw Dai summon the Arcle. "That's the-!"

"Henshin!" Dai said before he was donned in his Mighty from armor.

"Kuuga!" Ginoga said in surprised. He didn't expect to meet Kuuga so soon!

Quickly, Ginoga went to run, but Dai quickly jumped and flipped, landing right in front of Ginoga who was surprised at Dai's speed before being punched in the gut, making him slump down before Dai nailed him with an uppercut to the chin that sent the Grongi back. Ginoga recovered quickly and ducked under another punch from Dai only to be struck by a kick when he attempted to run again. Dai then grabbed him and pushed him against a nearby support pillar and punched Ginoga right in the face two time before kneeing him in the gut, making him bend down, before Dai sent him down to the ground with a downward elbow strike before kicking Ginoga away.

'I know Ginoga isn't that strong to begin with. What I have to be careful of is his spores.' Dai thought as he went to finish this off quick.

Ginoga slowly got back up only to see Dai rushing up to him with a rushing knee strike to the face, sending Ginoga back down to the ground, holding his face in pain before Dai grabbed him, picked him up, and kneed him in the gut two times before punching him away. Ginoga was once again sent down to the ground. Slowly, the Grongi got back up only to be met with a kick to the temple, sending him spinning down to the ground, knocked out.

Seeing the Grongi knocked out, Dai relaxed.

"Well, that was easier than I thought." Dai commented before he heard sirens and turned to see Ryō's car. The car came to a stop soon and the man got out. Dai waved at him. "Hey, Ichijo-san, I just took care of the—"

"Ichi-kun! Behind you!" Ryō said as he quickly went for his gun.

"Eh?" Dai turned around, confused, only to be grabbed by a not knocked out Ginoga who sunk his mouth onto Dai's neck, biting through the skin, and a small cloud of spores could be seen. Soon, pain erupted from all over Dai's body as he quickly pushed Ginoga back before falling to the ground as Ginoga too fell to the ground.

"C-Crap…" Dai gritted out, cursing himself for being so careless.

"Ichi-kun!" Quickly, the man went to the Rider's side. "Ichi-kun, hold on! Hang in there!"

"Heh, mission accomplished. Now to get out of here." Ginoga said to himself before he got up quickly and fled.

"Oi!" Ryō, seeing the Grongi escaping, quickly took out his gun and fired. One bullet struck Ginoga's shoulder, but it didn't slow him down as Ginoga soon escaped. "Shit!"

"Don't…let…him…" Dai got up wobbly as he attempted to chase after Ginoga, but the pain of his body intensified as he fell down and reverted to Growing form.

"Oi! Ichi-kun, pull yourself together! Hang in there!" Ryō said as he held Dai up as the Rider's armor soon vanished, leaving Dai in his civilian form where Ryō his lips were slowly turning into a cold blue color. "Shit! This is bad!" Quickly, Ryō took out his phone and dialed help.

(With Nagisa)

"Eh? She's not here?" Nagisa said as she was currently at Honoka's house, talking to Sanae. "Where did she go?"

"She said she was going to stop by the library on her way home today." Sanae said.

"So she's at the library…"

"Did something happen to Honoka?" Sanae asked.

"No, nothing in particular." Nagisa lied. "Just please tell Honoka to be on the lookout for a dangerous cho-er, chocolate lady when she gets back!"

"Dangerous chocolate…Huh?" Sanae said in confusion.

"Bye." Nagisa said, bowing before she took closed the sliding door and took her leave. Just when she left the house did her phone in her pocket ring. Picking it up, she saw the Caller ID.

"Ichijo-kun?" Nagisa said in confusion before answer. "Yes?"

-Misumi-san…It's Ichi-kun.-

Dread filled Nagisa's stomach as the way Ryō spoke made her freeze.

"Did…something happen?" Nagisa said before she heard what Ryō had to say. "…EH!?"

(With Honoka)

Honoka was sitting at a bench at the park, reading to herself as people around her did their own thing like talk or play. Unknown to Honoka was that she was being watched from afar by Poisony who had failed to get anything from Mepple simply because the fairy was still asleep which annoyed her and promised to cook the fairy later. But back to Honoka…

"Yukishiro Honoka: Verone Academy Student, member of the science club, clearheaded, always top of the class, the person who she admires the most is the top physicist of this century, Dr. Breakstone. Her parents haven't been around since her childhood and is currently living with her grandmother."

A plan was already formed in Poisony's head as she jumped down from the building she was on. Minutes later, she was in front of Honoka, disguised as an old lady.

"Kon'nichiwa(Good afternoon)." Poisony greeted, speaking in a convincing old woman voice.

"Oh, kon'nichiwa." Honoka greeted back as she set her book down.

"Ojou-chan(Little miss), are you a junior high school student?"

"Yes, I am."

"Ah yes, you're the same age as my granddaughter."

"Am I now?"

"Yes. You look so much like my grandchild."

"Is that so?" Honoka said before she grestured to the space next to her. "Would you like to sit?"

"I would, thank you." Poisony said as she took a seat next to her and the two began to talk.

"I see, so you have a grandmother just like me."

"Yes, right now it's just the two of us living together."

"Oh, I see."

Suddenly, Honoka's pocket started to move a bit, meaning Mipple was moving around. This did not escape Poisony's sight as Honoka quickly placed a hand over her pocket.

"Is something the matter?" Poisony asked, playing innocent and naïve.

"No, it's nothing!" Honoka said before her other pocket which held her phone started to ring. "Ah, excuse me for a bit." Honoka got up and moved away before taking out her phone and answering it. "Hello?"

-Honoka! It's bad! No, worse than bad!-

"Eh? Nagisa? What do you mean?"

-It's Dai-kun! He's…He's…-

Dread filled Honoka as she asked, "What happened?"

-Dai-kun's…in the hospital.-

"EH!?"

(Hospital)

Both Nagisa and Honoka, having met up at the entrance of the hospital, raced down the halls to where they saw Ryō standing in front of room Dai was currently in.

"Ichijo-kun!" Nagisa called out to the man who turned to them.

"Girls."

"What happened to Ichi-kun? Is he alright?" Honoka asked as they came to a stop.

"He was fighting No. 26 when he was suddenly bit and collapsed." Ryō said, recalling what he had seen when he got there. "Ichi-kun seemed to be in a lot of pain, but he's now calmed down somewhat." He then gestured to the door and the girls looked inside through the view window and saw some doctors and nurses taking care of Dai who was dressed in a hospital down, had on an oxygen mask on, and was covered in sweat.

Minutes later, Mizore came out of the room and the girls bowed.

"Domo(Hello)." Nagisa bowed before asking, "How is he?"

"He's fine for now." Mizore said as she popped a lollipop in her mouth before gesturing the others to follow her. "Follow me to my office. I can explain more there."

"You girls go." Ryō said. "I have to go back to examine the scene." He then looked at Mizore. "Please inform me if anything happens."

Mizore nodded before Ryō took his leave and the girls followed Mizore to her office. The woman offered the two some lollipops like she usually did for everyone, but they declined before making it to the office where the three sat down as Mizore worked to get the info up.

"This is all we know so far. So I advise you two to not let your guards down." Mizore said as she turned to them and the two simply nodded. "It seems little Ichi-san was injected with some sort of poisonous spores."

"Poisonous spores?" Honoka repeated. "What do you mean?"

"From what we found out from another victim, it's a special poison that severely damages the victim's internal organs by shrinking them. Some even decayed while we moved the victims here."

"Decayed!? Then does that mean-!?" Nagisa began in a panic.

"Calm down." Mizore said. "This poison instantly killed the other victims, but Ichi-san is still fine."

"How?" Honoka asked.

"It's probably thanks to his powers, but there are over 20 times the normal numbers of white blood cells in his blood. They're eliminating the poison. That's why his organs haven't shrunk yet."

"Is that so? Thank goodness…" Nagisa said, breathing a sigh of relief.

"I wouldn't relax now if I were you." Mizore said, making Nagisa straighten up again. "It seems something is happening inside his stomach."

"His stomach?" Honoka repeated as Mizore got up and went to another part of the room before coming back with some X-ray scans.

Looking at it, the two saw that something was happening to the Arcle inside of Dai as the Amadam Stone seemed to be darkening when compared to a previous scan.

"What is this?" Honoka asked as she and Nagisa took the scans and looked at them.

"I've been running scans and tests with Ichi-kun and I've seen his belt change several times, but for some reason, it's showing no sign of returning to normal. And before you ask, yes that is a bad thing."

"Can he saved?" Nagisa asked.

"I'll be honest with you two, it doesn't look very good." Mizore said. "That's all I can say for now."

That didn't sit well with the two as their worry for Dai only increased.

"Don't worry, you two." Mizore assured the girls. "I may have only known the kid for a little while, but he's a fighter. You two more than anyone should know that."

"…You're right." Nagisa began. "You're right, Dai-kun's a fighter. He'll toughen through this and kick that Grongi's butt the next time it appears!"

"She's right. We just have to believe in him." Honoka said as the two got up to leave, but not before bowing. "Please look after Ichi-kun."

"I'm a doctor. It's what I do." Mizore said before the girls handed her back the X-Ray scans and left.

"I sure hope Ichi-kun will be okay." Honoka said as the two girls walked side by side out of the hospital.

"He'll be fine. Dai took an explosion and still got up." Nagisa said. "He'll be just fine. Definitely."

Honoka looked at her friend and she could tell that Nagisa seemed to be speaking to convince herself more than her. She didn't blame her.

"Nagisa," Suddenly, from Honoka's pocket, Mipple popped out. "Where's Mepple? I don't sense him with you-mipo."

"Ah! That's right!" Nagisa said, remembering that she had been running around in order to look for Honoka. "Honoka, be careful of some chocolate lady! She took Mepple!"

"Mepple was taken!?" Honoka gasped and so did Mipple.

"I'm so sorry, Mipple, but I promise to look for him tomorrow after school!" Nagisa said.

"I'll help too." Honoka said.

"Thanks." Nagisa said before she took her leave. "See you tomorrow!"

Honoka simply waved her friend goodbye before Mipple spoke up again.

"Honoka."

"What is it?"

"When you were with that old lady from earlier, I felt Mepple-mipo."

"Eh?"

"I don't know why, but I felt Mepple was really close by-mipo."

"Could he have been at the park?" Honoka wondered out loud. Seeing as she and Nagisa had no clue as to where to look for Mepple, this info was useful. "I'll tell Nagisa this tomorrow and we can look around the park, okay?"

Mipple simple nodded before Honoka walked back home.

(With Ryō)

"…I see. Can he still be saved? Ichi-kun I mean?" Ryō asked as he was currently talking to Mizore though the phone.

-Like I said to the girls, it's not looking very good. I'll have to take another look at him for more info.-

"I see. Thank you for telling me. Let me know if you find something vital." Ryō said before he ended the call and was about to put away his phone when he got another call, the ID reading: Rai. "Hello?"

- Ryō, it's me, Rai. The spores Enokida-san analyzed contain an extremely powerful poison. They're pretty powerful, those Unidentified Lifeforms.-

"I know, Tsubaki just told me a few minutes ago."

-I figured, but that's not all. According to Enokida-san, they can only survive in temperatures between 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.-

"35 to 40 degrees?"

-Yeah. In other words, they like warm or hot places.-

'Warm or hot places…' Ryō thought before looking around and found what he was looking for. Air conditioning exhausts from a nearby building. "So that's how it is."

"How what is?" Hiroshi, one of the men examining the scene, asked.

"No. 26, it's staying close to the air condition exhausts. Which means it can only live in hot places and kill people nearby."

"That's great! Let's do a thorough search!" Hiroshi suggested and Ryō nodded in agreement. "So far, it seems to have limited itself to just the Shinjuku area."

"Right." Ryō said before a weird feeling swept over him.

Hiroshi noticed this and asked, "Is something wrong?"

"No, it's nothing." Ryō said, but in his mind, 'It's just a bit strange to know all this by myself than hear it from Ichi-kun. No doubt he would have told me and we could devise a plan earlier than later.' Looks like he's been relying on Dai a bit too much than he expected. Time for that to change.

(The Next Day)

"Eh? School's canceled today?" Nagisa said as she was currently eating breakfast.

"That's what the school called to tell us." Takeshi said as he drank his coffee. "Apparently, after what happened to Dai-kun got the staff scared for the other students so they canceled classes until this Unidentified Lifeform's been dealt with."

"We're planning on visiting Dai-kun later to see how he's doing." Rie said as she was cooking some food to be packed later for Dai.

"Oh, I see." Nagisa said. "The thing is, I kind of lost something yesterday and a friend of mine said she would help me look for it."

"What did you lose?" Ryota asked.

"Something very important." Was all Nagisa said.

"It's not anywhere near Shinjuku, is it?" Rie asked and Nagisa shook her head. "In that case, I guess it's fine for you to go out. But make sure you stay out of trouble, okay? After I heard that Dai-kun was in the hospital, I'm worried so please be safe, okay?"

"I promise I'll be safe." Nagisa said before she finished her breakfast and changed.

(Shinjuku)

The sound of sirens blared out all over the streets of Shinjuku as police cars and vans drove down the road before soon coming to a stop near the area where the air conditioning exhausts were. Getting out from one of the cars was Ryō as men armed with rifles and with gas masks on their faces came out of the van and cars.

"Everyone, check your gas masks and your special gas bullets." Ryō said to every man as he and everyone checked to see if they were good to go. One checkup later, they were locked and loaded and ready to go. "Split into three groups and prepare to engage No. 26."

"Understood!" The men said before they all broke up into three groups like Ryō said. Once grouped up, each group headed into different parts of the area while Ryō decided to go on his own.

One group decided to check below ground to see if No. 26 was hiding down in the subway while the other two groups went different directions to cover different areas where No. 26 was likely to be at.

With a gas mask on, Ryō checked a different area, looking around while moving with caution, making sure he checked both left and, up and down, and forward and back.

-This is Group 1. Nothing down here so far.-

-This is Group 2, same up here. What about you, Group 3?-

-This is Group 3, we're still searching.-

-This is Ichijo. Stay on your toes men. It could be anywhere.-

-Roger!-

With that, communications were shut down as men searched with caution for Ginoga. With Group 1, they checked everywhere underground, but found nothing. With Group 2, they too found nothing, but still kept searching. As for Group 3…

"Ugh!" A man grunted as he was pulled away and pushed against a wall as his mask was taken off and Ginoga stood before him, tracing his lips before he transformed into his Grongi form. The man was paralyzed with fear as he couldn't life up his rifle to defend himself as Ginoga neared closer and closer to the man's lip. But then…

*BANG!*

A bullet struck Ginoga in the back, making it cry out in pain as it drew away from the man who covered his mouth to not inhale the gas. Looking behind him, Ginoga looked to see Ryō with the barrel of his rifle smoking. Taking aim, Ryō fired another shot that struck Ginoga in the shoulder, getting another cry of pain before Ginoga quickly ran. Seeing the Grongi run, Ryō gave chase, turning a corner to see Ginoga about to flee through an alleyway before he took aim again and fired, hitting Ginoga's back and making the Grongi fall to his knees. Some more men from Group 3 soon came and saw the Grongi before they raised their rifles.

Not liking the situation he was in right now, Ginoga quickly got back up before he breathed out and spores started to shoot out from his mouth, filling the air. Wisely and quickly, Ryō and the men quickly covered their masks as through the heavy spores, Ginoga escaped.

'Damn…' Ryō cursed in his mind.

(Hospital)

All was quiet in the room that held Ichi Dai who still laid on the bed, a sheen of sweat still on him. Takeshi, Rie, and Ryota had come earlier to see him before they left seeing as Dai was not waking up anytime soon, but not before Rie left the food she cooked for Dai.

Right now, a nurse was looking after him when she heard a grunt. Turning, she saw a pain expression on Dai before she checked his heart monitor and didn't like what she saw as she quickly went for the phone and dialed for Mizore.

"Dr. Tsubaki, the patient is in trouble!"

Minutes later, Tsubaki arrived, throwing a lollipop into nearby trash bin before she quickly went to Dai's side and checked to see if she was alright. First, she checked the pupil of his eyes when suddenly…

*BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP…!*

Mizore's eyes widen in disbelief as she turned to Dai's heart monitor and saw that the line…was flat.

'No…' Mizore thought before quickly shouting to the nurse. "Get the others! Hurry!"

"Hai!" The nurse nodded before she made the call. Minutes later, all the doctors and nurses in charge of looking after Dai came and they all got to work.

"His heart has stopped beating!"

"The poison finally got to him!"

"If you all got time to yell, then you got time to give me 500cc's of adrenaline!" Mizore yelled as she started to do chest compressions.

"Yes ma'am!"

"Hang on, you little idiot! I won't let you die!" Mizore swore as she looked down at Dai.

"No change in his condition!"

"Inject another dose into the right side of his heart!" Mizore ordered.

"Yes ma'am!"

"He's responding!"

"Good, keep it going!" Mizore said. "Raise the defib by 100!"

"On it!"

Doing as told, a nurse brought over the defibrillator and Mizore quickly grabbed the paddles before rubbing them together before she told everyone to stay clear.

"CLEAR!" Mizore yelled before she placed the paddle over the right areas of the body and pushed. A shock went through Dai, but no reaction.

"No change!"

Mizore set the paddles down before going back to chest compressions. After a while, she gave up on that and went back to the defibrillator. "One more time! CLEAR!"

Another shock was sent and once again, no change.

"Again! CLEAR!"

Another shock, but same results.

"It's still no good? One more time!"

"Doctor, it's useless." A doctor told Mizore who glared at the man for even saying that before setting aside the paddles and spoke to Dai.

"If you die, what will happen to us? What am I supposed to tell those girls? You'd probably say it would work out somehow. Right, Ichi Dai? …Oi…OI!"

(Meanwhile, with the girls)

"And you're sure you sensed him here?" Nagisa asked Mipple.

"I'm sure of it-mipo." Mipple said.

"For now, let's start looking." Honoka said before the two fanned out, looking all over the park. After an hour of searching, the girls met up back at the park fountain.

"Any luck?" Nagisa asked, but Honoka shook her head. "Oh, where could it be?"

"Is something the matter?" A sudden voice spoke. Turning, the girls were met Poisony who was still disguised as the old woman.

"Ah! It's you! From yesterday!" Honoka said.

"Ara? I never expected to meet so soon." Poisony faked a convincing laugh.

"Who is this?" Nagisa asked.

"This is someone I met yesterday." Honoka said.

"This girl looked so much like my grandchild I couldn't help, but want to talk to her." The 'old woman' said.

"I see." Nagisa said before asking, "Excuse me for asking, but you wouldn't happen to have seen something looking like a phone, would you?"

"A phone? What does it look like?" Poisony asked as she sensed a chance.

At the same time, Mipple was thinking, 'Why do I sense Mepple close by-mipo?'

Acting carefully, Honoka took out Mipple closed and showed it to the woman. "It looks something like this."

"Ara? Hm…Yes, I think I may have seen something like this."

"You have!?" Nagisa asked.

"It could be my imagination. May I look at that for a moment?" Poisony asked, keeping her disguise and face from changing.

Despite not even knowing the woman, the girls really wanted to find Mepple so Honoka complied and went to give Mipple when…

"Honoka."

"Huh?" Honoka and everyone turned to see none other than Sanae. "Obāchama(Grandma)? What are you doing here?"

"I was worried since you looked very worried yesterday so I went to see if you were okay." Sanae said before turning to the disguised Poisony. "And who is this?"

"Oh, I just made friends with her." Honoka said. "She was actually helping us find something for Nagisa."

"Oh, I see." Sanae said before bowing in greeting. "Hajimemashite(A pleasure to meet you)."

"Kochira koso(The pleasure's mine)." Poison said, trying to keep up appearances while cursing the old woman for getting in the way when she was so close.

Sanae continued to smile pleasantly and so did Poisony until Sanae suddenly asked, "Who are you?"

Poisony did well to hide her surprise. "What are you talking about?"

"Are you a real grandmother?" Sanae asked. "A real grandmother can know a fake when she sees one. What were you trying to do with Honoka and her friend?"

Poisony lowered her head to hide her anger that appeared on her face as she couldn't believe she had been discovered by an old woman! Guess there's no point left to acting.

"If you had just given me that thing you are holding so tightly, I wouldn't have done anything to you." Poisony spoke in her real voice as she looked at Honoka and Nagisa who stepped back in surprise.

"No, don't tell me…!" Nagisa began.

"You…you couldn't be…!" Honoka said before poison snapped her fingers multiple times. And each time she did, the people of the park turned towards them; their skin a pale white with a visible tick mark on their forehead to show the possession of a Zakenna.

Honoka and Nagisa looked around in surprise as Sanae voiced her thoughts. "What in the world is happening?"

In a matter of seconds, the three were surrounded as Poisony gave them orders. "Make them understand the horror of the Dark Power."

"Uh oh…" Nagisa said as the possessed people advanced upon them. "What do we do? Do we fight?"

"But, I don't want to hurt them." Honoka said as she was hesitant to fight back in fear of hurting the people.

And because of that hesitation, the possessed people started to crowd them as they mostly gathered around Honoka while Nagisa and Sanae were pushed back.

"Honoka!" Sanae cried out in worry for her granddaughter.

"Obāchama!" Honoka cried out in worry as well before she quickly covered Mepple with both her hands as the possessed people tried to pry it out of her hands.

"Honoka! Dang it let me through!" Nagisa struggled as before long, she was pushed out. She tried to push herself through, but she was just pushed back as Sanae was next to be pushed out as she fell on her knees. Worried, Nagisa went to her side "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. But Honoka…" Sanae said as they looked back to the possessed people trying to pry Mipple out of Honoka's hands.

"Honoka! Throw Mipple to me!" Nagisa said as she jumped and crawled over the crowd, using their shoulders as leverages.

"Nagisa!" Honoka said as she raised her hand to get them out of reach, but adults were taller than her and so, Honoka had no other choice, but to throw Mipple to Nagisa as hard as she could. But before she could throw Mipple, a hand slapped her hand and sent Mipple out of her hands. Nagisa tried to grab her, but she missed a step in her crawl and dropped down into the crowd as Mipple bounced off her hands and out of the crowd, landing near Sanae's feet.

Sanae looked down and a look of recognition appeared on her face. "This is…" She bent down and picked up Mipple before looking up to see the possessed people make their way towards her.

"This feeling…" Mipple thought as the minute Sanae touched her did Mipple feel a familiar sensation. "This feeling…it's somehow nostalgic…" Soon, Mipple's eyes felt drowsy before she closed her eyes and went into a daze.

Sanae held Mipple in her hands tightly as the possessed people drew closer and closer to her. And then…

"Stop this at once!" Sanae's voice seemed to echo somehow as the possessed people, to everyone's surprise, stopped and backed away. Sanae blinked in confusion before she got up and looked at the possessed people who actually stopped when she told them to.

"Obāchama!" Pushing past the people, Honoka and Nagisa went up to Sanae. "Daijōbu(Are you alright)?"

"Yes, I'm fine." Sanae assured her granddaughter before smiling down at Mipple in her hands. "This child shared its power with me.

"Eh?" Honoka said as she and Nagisa looked down at Mipple in confusion.

Footsteps drew their attention as they all turned to Poisony who had gotten rid of her disguise and stood before them in her true form, throwing down the cane she had used when disguised as an old woman.

"What in the world are you?" Sanae asked/demanded.

"You guys are starting to get on my nerves." Poisony said instead of answering. "If you know what's good for you, you'll give me that thing right now."

"I cannot give this to you." Sanae said. "This…This is something important to Honoka. I will not give you this no matter what!"

"Obāchama…" Honoka looked at her grandmother in awe. Despite what was happening right now, she was still calm and stood strong.

"It's not good for your health to be so obstinate!" Poisony said as she took a step forward.

In response, the girls stood in front of Sanae protectively, hands raised and ready to fight. "We won't let you lay a finger on her!"

"Out of my way!" Poisony said before thrusting her palm out and sent out a blast of air that pushed back both Nagisa and Honoka.

"Girls!" Sane cried out in worry before Poisony grabbed her wrist.

"Now, give it to me!" Poisony demanded as she wouldn't hesitate to crush Sanae's arm if she refused. That's when the unexpected happened.

*FLIP!*

Poisony's eyes widen in surprise when Sanae grabbed her arm and judo flipped her away! Recovering in midair, Poisony flipped and landed perfectly on her feet before looking at Sanae in surprise.

"Whoa…" Nagisa said in amazement as a new found respect for the old woman grew inside of her.

"Obāchama…" Honoka said in awe. Since when did her grandmother know martial arts?

"That should have sent her further down. I really have gotten old…" Sanae commented to herself.

Poisony's surprised look was replaced with a look of anger and Nagisa and Honoka took this as a sign that she was about to attack again.

"Sanae-san, abunai(watch out)!" Nagisa warned the old lady.

Nagisa's warning came a bit too later as Poisony thrusted her hand out and sent a shockwave towards Sanae, this one being stronger than when she pushed back the girls as the winds blew and the girls felt threatened of being blown away.

"Obāchama!" Honoka cried out in worry as she squinted her eyes through the shockwave to see if her grandmother was alright.

"Saseru ka(I won't let you)!"

Everyone's eyes widen in surprise as a form of what appeared to be a man had appeared in front of Sanae, protecting her from the shockwave.

"W-Who's that!?" Nagisa thought out loud as she nor Honoka could make out the figure's appearance.

"Who the hell are you!?" Poisony demanded as she too couldn't make out the figure's appearance.

Being so close, only Sanae saw who the figure looked like despite the fact that he looked like to be covered in light.

"Ken…Kengo…?" Sanae breathed in disbelief.

The figure then pulled his arm back before with all his might, he punched forward with a mighty cry.

"RIDER…PUNCH!"

Another shockwave had occurred, this one way more powerful than Poisony who could only stare in surprise before she was sent flying back. Poisony was not the only thing that flew as rubble and dust and many more were sent flying.

Nagisa and Honoka, despite being behind Sanae, felt like they were in even more danger of being sent flying as the shockwave produced from the figure's punch was that powerful. Finally, they felt everything calm down and they lowered the arms before gasping. The reason for this is because right in front of Sanae was what could only be described as a path of destruction for the tiles of the ground were shaped to make a trail as those caught in that trail was a bench, a lamppost, and many more for the trail extended out to the roads themselves.

But the figure responsible for this was nowhere to be seen.

"What…was all that?" Nagisa said while Honoka went to check if her grandmother was alright.

"Daijōbu, Obāchama?" Honoka asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." Sanae said before she looked back at the trail in front of her. "It seems even in death, Kengo will not stop protecting me."

"Eh? Ojī-chan(Grandpa)?" Honoka said in confusion before looking at the trail too and thought back to the figure. "That was Ojī-chan?"

"Yes." Sanae nodded. "I told you before that he was a hero like no other." Suddenly, Sanae started to wobble.

"Obāchama!" Quickly, Honoka held her grandmother and Nagisa quickly came over to help.

"I'm a bit tired right now." Sanae said as her weight forced Honoka and Nagisa to gently place her down. "Kengo did always say I was a bit stubborn…"

"Obāchama! Obāchama!" Honoka shook her grandmother, but the old woman had already fallen asleep.

*CRASH!*

The girls looked up to see an injured and pissed Poisony, having moved aside some cars that were in her way as she brushed aside some of her hair.

"I don't know what that was, but it looks like it won't help you again." Poisony said.

"How could you?" Nagisa said as she got up and faced Poisony. "Sanae-san is just an old woman, she has nothing to do with this!"

"Yurusenai(I won't forgive you)…" Honoka suddenly said as she stood up and glared at Poisony. "Yurusanai(I will not forgive you)!"

"Don't talk so big." Poisony said before pulling out Mepple. "You can't even transform without this."

"Mepple!" Nagisa cried out.

Mepple, who had been asleep this entire time, started to wake up with a big yawn before speaking. "Nagisa, ohayō(good morning)-mepo."

"What are you saying so casually? Look whose hand you're in!" Nagisa said.

Mepple blinked in confusion before looking and so realized the situation he was in. He reacted the only way he knew how.

Crying.

"This is terrible-mepo! Hurry up and save me-mepo!" Poisony then shut him up by squeezing him.

"If you don't' want me to crush him, you'd better give that one to me." Poisony said in a demanding tone.

"Stop it, give Mepple back!" Nagisa pleaded.

"Mepple!" Mipple cried out for her lover.

"First I'll crush the one I have and then I'll take that one." Poisony threatened. "Afterwards I'll just take my time forcing that one to talk. If you want to help this one, give me that one now."

"Nagisa!" Mepple cried out as he was squeezed again, this time even tighter.

"Please stop it!" Nagisa pleaded. "Let Mepple go!"

'What do we do?' Honoka thought as she worked her brain to try and think of a way out of this situation.

"Believe…"

"Eh?" Honoka blinked in surprise and confusion as she could have sworn someone spoke to her.

"Believe…" Honoka wasn't imagining things, someone was speaking to her. "Believe in yourself, believe in your friends, believe in your companions, and anything can happen."

'This voice…' Honoka thought as somewhere in the back of her head, she recognized this voice. She hasn't heard this voice since she was little. "Ojī-chan…?"

"Go forth, Honoka!"

Determination replaced the panic and anxiety Honoka had been feeling as she called out, "Mepple! You can do it! You can get free by yourself!"

"Huh? What are you saying, Honoka?" Nagisa asked, confused why her friend was saying.

"Ugh…Mepo!" Groaning in pain, Mepple let out a loud cry before with a 'poof' Mepple assumed his real form and escaped Poisony's hold, surprising her as Mepple ran like never before, jumping and transforming back where he landed perfectly into Nagisa's hands. "Mepo…" Mepple swore to himself that he was never doing that again and that he needed to exercise more.

Nagisa smiled, confidence filling her, before turning to Honoka. "Let's transform!"

"Right!" Honoka nodded before the two girls slashed their respective cards and cried out as one.

"Dual Aurora Wave!"

Light surrounded the girls and blinded all as within the light, the girls garbed their outfits and stood before their enemy once the light vanished to reveal their form.

"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"

"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"

"Futari wa PreCure!"

"Yami no chikara no shimobetachi yo…"

"…Tottoto ouchi ni kaerinasai!"

The girls stood ready to fight, having plenty of reason to fight Poisony. The only problem was…is that she was nowhere to be seen, having vanished as the girls were doing their intro speech.

"Huh? She's gone." Nagisa said as she and Honoka lowered their hands.

"I wonder if she actually returned to the darkness?" Honoka wondered as she was a tad bit disappointed. After what she did to her grandmother, she had wanted to kick Poisony a few times.

"Seems like it." Nagisa said as she was starting to debate whether their intro speech was really necessary at this point. As much as she didn't want to admit it, doing the speech had become a habit, much to her displeasure.

"Uh, Honoka? Nagisa? The people-mipo?" Mipple spoke up.

"Oh yeah…" Nagisa and Honoka turned to the possessed people who, without Poisony, just moved around, bumping into each other. To say the sight before them weirded them out wouldn't be far out. "In any case, we can't leave these people this way, can we?"

"Let's hurry and change them back." Honoka said before they clasped hands and raised their hands.

"Black Pulsar!"

"White Pulsar!"

Appearing from thin air, rings of black and white light surround the girls and soon, the rings of black and white turn into a ball of rainbow light.

"Yami no jubaku ni toraware shimono yo..."

"...Ima, sono kusari wo tachikiran!"

They tighten their hands before they thrust their hands to the possessed people, ready to bring them back to normal.

"Pretty Cure Rainbow Therapy!"

With that command alone, the ball of rainbow light their surrounded them turned into energy ribbons and enveloped every last possessed person before the Zakenna's possessing them were forced out and they exploded into tiny star versions of themselves as always, muttering apologies.

The girls lower their hands and smile at each other before they cancel their transformation and check on Sanae.

They waited patiently for the old woman to regain consciousness and a couple of minutes later; she did, getting up with some help from the girls.

"Obāchama, daijōbu(Are you alright)?" Honoka asked as she helped her grandmother up to her feet.

"Yes, I'm fine. Do not worry." Sanae said. "Well then, I should probably head home and prepare dinner."

"Will you be aright by yourself?" Honoka asked.

"Yes, I slept well so I feel much better." Sanae said in a reassuring tone. "Honoka, don't be too late to come home."

"R-Right. Please be safe." Honoka said before Sanae took her leave, saying goodbye to Nagisa and told Honoka not to worry about her.

Once Sanae was gone did Nagisa speak up. "I think your grandmother saw us."

"Maybe, but she was sleeping." Honoka said.

"But I'm sure she saw something. A lot of people got possessed and acted like zombies right in front of her."

"But she said she was dreaming."

"Don't kid yourself; you're just worried about your grandmother." Nagisa then remembered what had happened to Sanae earlier. "And who was that guy from earlier that protected your grandmother? He just punched forward and it sent that woman and everything in front of him flying."

"You're guess is as good as mine." Honoka said despite the fact that she might have a clue who that person from earlier was.

Nagisa sighs and looks up at the sky. "I wonder if everything will change when our crazy situation is exposed to the neighborhood?"

"I honestly want it to stay the way it is." Honoka said. "We're not like Ichi-kun. His situation was already exposed to the public just after he got his powers."

"Yeah…" Nagisa agreed.

"This all happened because you were blinded by chocolate-mepo." Mepple suddenly spoke, instantly angering Nagisa once again as always.

"What!? Even if you say so, who was it that was snoring so loudly during all this insanity?" Nagisa shot back.

"But everyone was saved thanks to my daring escape-mepo."

"Man, you are so uncool. If you could have, you should have escaped much earlier. You don't care at all how much I worry about you."

"I don't need you to worry about me-mepo. I can take care of myself-mepo."

"What was that!? Who do you think takes care of you!?"

"Now, now, Nagisa…" Honoka spoke up.

"Be quiet, Honoka." And just like that, Nagisa told Honoka to shut up before going to back to argue with Mepple. "Today of all days…"

"You're not that reliable to begin with-mepo. You should believe in me a bit more-mepo."

"Who would believe in you? Hmph!" And with that, nagisa chose to turn her head away from the fairy.

"I believe in you-mepo." Nagisa blinked in surprise and turned back to Mepple who had a sincere look on his face. "I ran so desperately because I believed in you-mepo. I wasn't thinking of anything else except: 'I believe in Nagisa!'-mepo!"

"Mepple…" Nagisa mutters in surprise as she was touched by the fairy's words.

'Believe in yourself, believe in your friends, believe in your companions, and anything can happen.' Honoka thought. 'That's what you said, right, Ojī-chan?'

"Mepple, I'm sorry." Nagisa said as she smiled and held the fairy with care.

Honoka smiles at this before looking up to the sky and over the horizon. "I wish everything would stay like this…forever."

"Yeah…" Nagisa couldn't help, but agree as she too looked up at the sky and over the horizon, looking at the clouds that passed by. She was starting to see why Dai liked staring up at the sky from time to time.

"Girls," Both girls in surprise before turning to see none other than Ryō.

"Ichijo-kun! Don't scare us like that." Nagisa said as she and Honoka calmed down.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you two." Ryō said. "I just came to see you two. It's about Ichi-kun."

"Is Ichi-kun awake?" Honoka asked as she and Nagisa's hopes rose.

Then confusion filled them as Ryō had a conflicted look as if he was debating whether to tell them or not about something.

"Ichijo-kun?" Nagisa spoke up. "Is…something wrong?"

Ryō opened his mouth, but quickly closed it and bit his lip. He then took a deep breath in and breathed out before somber look appeared on his face and he spoke words that froze the girls as cold as the North Pole.

"Ichi Dai…Time of death confirmed at 6:03."

(Hospital)

"Tsubaki-san!" Not even bothering to knock first, Nagisa barged in with Honoka and Ryō following close behind, and saw Mizore at her desk, a somber look on her face as a lollipop sat in her mouth as always.

"Oh, you girls are here." Mizore said as she took out the lollipop from her mouth and threw it in the trash. "I'm guessing Ichijo here must have told you then."

"It's…it's not true, is it?" Honoka asked as both she and Nagisa looked pretty shooken up. "Ichi-kun…Ichi-kun is…he isn't…"

"I did everything I could do." Mizore said. "Believe me, I used every trick I knew. Hell I used the defibrillator as much as I could at the highest possible setting. I'm sorry girls, but…I was unable to save him. He's gone."

"No…" Nagisa muttered as she suddenly couldn't feel her legs and fell to her knees. Honoka was in the same state as she quickly grabbed onto Ryō who held her up. "It…it can't be true. It just can't!" Nagisa looked up at Mizore, tears forming in her eyes. "Please, tell me it isn't true…"

Mizore got up and kneeled down to Nagisa, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry…"

Nagisa wanted to say something, but couldn't come up with anything. Honoka wanted to say something, but nothing came out.

Seeing both girls stunned, Ryō spoke up. "I'll take you girls home." He bowed towards Mizore before helping both girls up and walking.

"I'm sorry…" Mizore muttered as she lowered her head in shame. The loss of life was never good.

(The Next Day)

Breakfast at the table was quiet. Every one of the Misumi family except Nagisa were all looking at said girl who was picking at her food instead of eating it. The silence was understandable as they had all gotten the news of Dai. Ryota had outright denied it, but that didn't stop him from bawling his eyes out that night.

"Nagisa," Rie spoke up, getting Nagisa to turn to her. "If you're not feeling well, you can stay home today. Ryota too."

"I…" Nagisa wanted to say something, but what came out was, "…thanks."

"I'll…also stay home." Ryota said as he also didn't want to go to school today.

"Then I'll go call the schools and let them know." Rie said as she got up. "Takeshi, hurry up. You got to go to work."

"R-Right…" Takeshi said as he hurried to finish his breakfast. While he wanted to stay and be here for his kids, he reluctantly left for work, promising to come home soon.

Nagisa kept picking on her food, not feeling the least bit hungry. She then set her utensils down and got up before heading to the door.

"Nee-chan, where are you going?" Ryota asked.

"I'm…just going to Dai-kun's place." Nagisa said without turning around as she put on her shoes. "I'll be back soon."

"Nagisa," Rie called out to her daughter, but the girl had already left through the door and closed it behind her. Rie sighed, feeling helpless as she didn't know what to do for her daughter who was obviously in pain right now. Her attention was then snapped towards Ryota who was sniffing and trying to hold back tears.

"Guys who smile…through trouble are cool…that's what Dai-niisan said…" Ryota sniffed as he recalled Dai's words and tried to hold back the tears, but he was failing miserably. Seeing her son crying, Rie went to his side and wrapped her arms around him as Ryota cried onto his mother's shoulder.

With Nagisa, she stood in front of the door that was Dai's apartment room. She kneeled down and lifted the welcome mat, picking up a kept which Dai would always hide and unlocked the door.

Closing the door behind her, Nagisa looked around the room. Everything was still the same. The kotatsu, the stove and oven, the desk, the closest, and the bed.

"Everything is so clean, as always…" Nagisa mutters to herself as she walked around the place. She didn't know why she had wanted to come here. Maybe it was convince herself if Dai was really gone or not. One look around the place and one wouldn't think that the owner would be…

Nagisa quickly rubbed her eyes as she felt tears threatening to fall. She had cried enough last night and barely gotten any sleep, but that was least of her problems. She walked up to the desk and found notes scattered around.

"Always trying to do good in school…Hm?" What she thought were school notes were actually, to her surprise, notes about the Grongi. "That's right, Dai-kun had said he was making notes for Ichijo-kun." She picked up a few notes and read them.

"…What is this?" Nagisa thought out loud as she couldn't believe what she was reading.

-The Grongi Tribe is a mysterious ancient civilization that is made up of beings that can transform into monsters to kill people for their ruthless game which is, translated into the Gurongi Language, known as the 'Gegeru.' They attacked their rival civilization, the Linto who are the descendants of the human race. Leading the Grongi is N-Daguva-Zeba whose goal is to bring out the 'Ultimate Darkness' where humanity will be as violent as the Grongi themselves.-

"Ultimate Darkness…" Nagisa did not like the sound of that, not one bit. With her attention captured, she kept looking at all the notes on the desk.

-The Grongi have a three-part naming scheme that all members have, consisting of 'Group-Species-Creature type.' The first part of their names indicates their rank and which group that Grongi belongs to; the second part is their personal name, which contains a reference to what animal/plant their Grongi forms are based on; and the third part indicates what animal groups they belong to: 'Ba' for insects and arachnids; 'Da' for mammals; 'De' for plants; 'Gi' for fish and other aquatics animals; 'Gu' for birds and other animals with wings; and 'Re' for reptiles and amphibians. The leaders of the Grongi Tribe will have a 'Ze' in front of their animal group name.-

-So far, there are four different groups that I know: Zu, Me, Go, and Ra. Each group has a different set of rules and methods for killing people. The Zu rely on their physical strengths and abilities, such as Zu-Zain-Da using his brute strength to kill truck drivers and Zu-Mebio-Da's immense speed. The Me use built-in weapons such as Me-Giiga-Gi's ink bombs, and Me-Badjisu-Ba's wrist-mounted stinger gun. The Go Group are the strongest, and are able to create weapons from objects they grasp, much like Kuuga.-

"Go Group…" Monsters with the same abilities as Dai's? Nagisa can only imagine how strong this group must be. And they're still out there too, just waiting to pop out of nowhere. "Just what did Dai-kun get himself into? And how does he know all this?" What she read next surprised and shocked her.

-It is theorized that the Grongi were once humans, much like the Linto. They had found a meteorite with strong yet strange metals, which allowed to them easily defeat other neighboring tribes. During one fateful expedition, the Grongi found the metals had changed them, allowing them to assume beast-like forms to kill even more effectively at the cost of their humanity.-

"No way. The Grongi were once human!?" Nagisa couldn't believe it. Didn't this mean that Dai was fighting against other humans? But then, these notes just said that the Grongi had lost their humanity. "Argh! I don't know what to think anymore! These notes are already confusing enough!" She set down the notes in her hand and picked up a small notebook, opening it up to see info about Kuuga and his abilities.

-Kuuga was made by the Linto people in order to counter the Grongi Tribe. Using this power, a warrior named Riku who was the first Kuuga fought and sealed away the Grongi.-

"So there was another Kuuga before Dai-kun?" Again, how did Dai know all this?

-Like the Grongi of the Go Group, Kuuga can alter any item he has into a weapon by temporary changing its atomic structure. Whenever he changes form.-

"I bet Honoka would love to read this." Nagisa said as she read about Kuuga, his forms, and…Nagisa's eyes widen in shock and from within her, a great hope rose before she ran out of the room, making sure the lock the door, before she ran back into her apartment room.

"Nagisa!" Rie said before she jumped back in surprise when Nagisa ran past her and ran up the stairs. Seconds later, she came back down with Mepple in her pocket before racing out the door. "Nagisa, where are you going!?"

Nagisa didn't answer back as she ran full speed ahead with notebook in hand while she dialed for Honoka.

"Honoka! It's me, Nagisa! You won't believe what I just found out! Come to the hospital as fast as you can! I'll explain there! Just trust me! I think Dai-kun can still be saved!"

(Hospital)

"You girls wanted to see me?" Mizore said as she looked at both Nagisa and Honoka who both looked like they had ran all the way here which was in fact true. She had gotten a call that the two had wanted to see her and came down as soon as she could.

"Nagisa, what's this all about?" Honoka asked. "What did you mean when you said that we could still save Ichi-kun?"

"This," Nagisa held up the notebook in her hand. "I found this in Dai-kun's room. It says here: Even if in the warrior's eyes a Great Eye appears, there is no need to shed tears."

"Eh? What does that mean?" Honoka asked.

"I think it's some kind of hint or something." Nagisa said.

"The warrior's eyes…a Great Eye…" Mizore mutters to herself until a thought enters her head. "Does it mean the dilation of the pupil?"

"The pupil?" Nagisa repeated in confusion.

"We usually can tell if a person is dead by looking at his or hers pupils." Mizore explained to the girls.

"Then what about the part of shedding tears?" Honoka asked.

Mizore hummed to herself, trying to think of what it could mean before she had an idea. "Could it be? Is it talking about revival?"

"Is Dai-kun's body still here?" Nagisa asked.

"It is. Follow me." Mizore said as the girls followed her to the elevator and went up. After minutes of walking through the different halls of the building, they came to the room where Dai's body laid rest. Mizore opened the door and the three walked into the dark room as Mizore walked up to Dai's bed and looked down at the body who looked like he could be sleeping. Holding in her breath unconsciously, Mizore touched Dai's face and to her surprise, he wasn't cold like a corpse should be. His body was in fact the opposite!

"His body temperature is rising!" Mizore said in surprise as she removed the blanket over Dai and touched the area where the Arcle would be at. Never before in all her career as a doctor as she witness anything like this.

"Nagisa, what else does it say?" Honoka asked as hope filled everyone in the room.

Nagisa quickly opened the notebook and read. "It says here: When the Great Eye appears in the warrior's eyes, none should disturb his deep slumber."

"Disturb his deep slumber?" Mizore repeated. "If that's the case, then I think I made a mistake and worsened his state. I was all over him when I tried to keep him alive yesterday."

"But his body temperature was rising, right?" Honoka said, reminding the female doctor of what she just discovered second ago.

"You're right." Mizore said as she looked down at the area where the Arcle would be. "I wonder if that Stone has anything to do with this?" Mizore couldn't help, but grin. "You never cease to surprise me, kid."

The girls walked up to Dai and added in their part.

"Ichi-kun, we'll be waiting. So please hurry and wake up." Honoka said.

"You idiot, making us all worried. "Nagisa said as held the small notebook up to her chest. "Until you wake up, just leave everything to me and Honoka." With that, Nagisa and Honoka took their leave, their earlier grief now gone, now replaced with hope.

Mizore watched as they left before looking back down at Dai. "The worst thing a man can do is make a girl cry. Hurry and do your best to wake up so you can apologize to them." With that, Mizore left the room, closed the door, and left the lights on in the room before taking out a lollipop and placed it in her mouth, smiling at the taste.

(Investigation HQ)

It was another busy day at HQ as men were discussing on how to find and locate Ginoga again.

"There are many tall buildings in the Shinjuku area and their air conditioners are huge too so it should be hot outside, right?" Hiroshi said.

"Yeah, but is it a good idea to just look around the air conditioners?" Rai said.

"With what little info we have, it's the best we can do." Ryō before his phone rang. "Excuse me." Excusing himself from the group, he took out his phone and answered it. "Hello?"

-Yo, kouhai! It's your senpai!-

Ryō sighed before answering, "How are you, Enokida-san?"

-I'm great! Anyway, about the TRCS(TryChaser) you brought over for me, we think we can repair what was corroded so can you please tell the kid to not worry about it.-

"…Right."

-So, how's the situation regarding No. 26?-

"We're still currently trying to locate him. The police are still conducting a wide search of the area."

"Kuzarahi-san!" Suddenly, a police man enters the room, getting everyone's attentions. "Victims have been reported at Itabashi!"

"Itabashi!? Should it be Shinjuku!?" Hiroshi said as everyone scrambled to collect their stuff before rushing out the door.

"Sumimasen(Sorry), Enokida-san! I'll call you again later!" Ryō said over the phone as he grabbed his coat.

-Matte(Hold it), Ryō. I've heard that the special gas bullets you used yesterday were effective. So I went and improved them and made them twice as powerful. I've sent them over to you. Use them wisely.-

"Arigatō gozaimashita(Thank you very much)." Ryō said before he raced out the door, making sure to pick up the special bullets along the way.

(Later, Itabashi)

By the time Ryō and the others got to Itabashi, it was already complete chaos. Policemen were shooting no stop, but they weren't effective on Ginoga who was killing them one by one. Not only that, but his appearance was now different. His skin was now lighter, taking a caramel like color as his head was now maroon in color. Not only that, but his muscles appeared to be more produced as a six pack was visible for all to see.

Getting out of his car quickly, Ryō went and gave everyone the tools they needed.

"Here are the new special bullets from HQ." Ryō said, opening a briefcase as he and everyone loaded their rifles.

"Alright! Let's see what these can do!" Rai said as he , Hiroshi, and Ryō aimed their rifles and fired.

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

*BANG!*

All three bullets struck Ginoga, but to their surprise, it had no effect as the Grongi was making its way to them.

"Nani(What)!?"

"That won't work anymore." Ginoga said before he started spewing massive amounts of spores from his mouth. And to the three men's surprise, despite the others having gas masks on, they were still getting effective as men started dropping dead one by one as the few that were distance away wisely retreated back and fired their guns from a distance.

Still not affected by the bullets, Ginoga leaped over and kicked one of the men, sending him crashing into the others and sending them down to the ground. Ginoga then looked down upon the men, ready to end their lives.

"Well…shit." Rai said they all had nowhere to run.

"Duel Aurora Wave!"

A bright light appeared from behind the men and before they could blink, two figures dashed past them and kicked Ginoga away before landing in front of the men.

"Huh?" Hiroshi said as he looked at the forms of Cure Black and White in front of everyone.

"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"

"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"

"Futari wa PreCure!"

"Yami no chikara no shimobetachi yo…"

"…Tottoto ouchi ni kaerinasai!"

"You two!?" Ryō said in surprise.

"Ichijo-kun, daijōbu(Are you okay)?" Nagisa asked as she helped the men up to their feet.

"Hidoi yo(This is awful)…" Honoka commented as she looked at all the dead men on the ground.

"Why are you two doing here? This is dangerous!" Rai said. He was already letting Dai, a 15 year old kid, handle most of their battles. He was not about to let girls who were younger than said kid fight for him. It would leave a bad taste in his mouth.

"We're here to help!" Nagisa said as they had heard from the news about No. 26 being in Itabashi so she and Honoka rushed here as fast as they could to help.

Meanwhile, Ginoga finally got back up and looked at the girls. "Who are you two?"

"Didn't you hear us? We're Pretty Cure!" Nagisa said, raising up her fists.

"We're here until Ichi-kun comes here!" Honoka said as she also raised her hands.

"Ichi-kun?" Ryō said. Wasn't the boy dead?

"Ichijo-kun," Honoka spoke up. "Believe in Ichi-kun! He's never betrayed your trust, right?"

"He'll come, no matter what!" Nagisa said before she and Honoka charged towards Ginoga.

(BGM: Futari wa PreCure Ost 1 Track 27)

Ginoga was ready for a punch or kick from the two. What he didn't expect was a tackle from Nagisa that sent them both to the ground as Nagisa quickly rolled away from him as Honoka came in with an axe kick. Quickly, Ginoga rolled out of the way as Honoka's kick struck the ground. Getting back up, Ginoga was about to attack Honoka only for Nagisa to tackle him from behind, making him crash into one of the police before Nagisa jumped, throwing a punch down upon Ginoga's head only for the Grongi to roll out of the before he went and punched in the face and sent her flying back. Honoka jumped in, attacking with a flying kick, but Ginoga went and caught her leg, grabbing it tightly before he slammed her against the police care and cracking one of the windows. Ginoga then went to spew out his spores, but Nagisa saw this and quickly tackled Ginoga again, flying over the car. She got up quickly, but Ginoga got up quicker and grabbed her head before pushed her against the car and leaned in to inject his spores the only way he knew how: by kissing.

Nagisa saw this and her natural female instincts quickly made her cover his mouth as she tried to push her away, but Ginoga was persistent and pushed closer and closer. Finally, Nagisa went and grabbed his head before pushing him to the side where his head struck one of the windows, cracking it, but she pulled her arm back and struck the back of Ginoga's head with an elbow strike that sent Ginoga's head crashing through the window, breaking it before she quickly pulled back. Ginoga removed his head from the broken window and glared at Nagisa before he quickly moved out of the way of a kick from Honoka before grabbing the back of her outfit and threw her to Nagisa who quickly caught her and was sent back, rolling down to the ground. With the girls down, Ginoga rushed up to the girls, picked them up, and smacked them against each other, their heads hitting one another before he spun around and threw them away, sending them crashing against another police car.

"Ite(Ow)…" Nagisa groaned as she pushed herself up. "White, you alright?"

"I'm okay." Honoka said before she and Nagisa exclaimed in surprise when they were dragged up to their feet before Honoka was punched in the gut, making her bend over before Nagisa was backhanded away by Ginoga. The Grongi then grabbed Honoka by her neck and made her look at him before leaned in to infect her with his spores as Honoka grabbed his arm and tried to get herself free.

No longer able to watch this, Rai shouted, "Provide them back-up!"

"You better tell me who they are after this!" Hiroshi said before he and the others aimed their guns and fired. With Ginoga being much bigger than Honoka, all they had to worry about was hitting Honoka's outfit as bullets flew and struck Ginoga's back.

The bullets, of course, had no effect as Ginoga turned to them with a bored look, but his mistake was loking away as Nagisa came in and kicked him arm, making him let go of Honoka before she elbowed Ginoga in the gut, making him stumble back before Honoka jumped over Nagisa and kicked the Grongi right in the face, sending him down to the ground as Honoka landed next to Nagisa, rubbing her neck.

"Thanks." Honoka thanked her friend before she and Nagisa saw Ginoga get up and spew his spores.

"Abunai(Watch out)! Don't inhale that!" Ryō shouted over to them.

Thinking, the girls went and grasped hands and when they did, energy gathered and formed a protective barrier around them, protecting them from the spores and surprising Ginoga and the others. Once the last of the spores had dissipated harmlessly, the girls raised their hands to the sky.

"Black Thunder!"

"White Thunder!"

*BOOM!*

From the sky, white and black thunder rained down and struck the girls, surrounding them in energy.

"What's happening!?" Hiroshi asked, having never seen this.

"You might want to step back." Rai said as he pushed Hiroshi back.

"Purikyua no utsukushiki tamashī ga…"

"…Jaaku na kokoro wo uchikudaku!" Nagisa shouted before she suddenly let go of Honoka's hand.

"Eh?" Honoka said in confusion before she watched as Nagisa dashed away and stopped right in front of Ginoga.

Glaring at the Grongi, Nagisa went and struck the Grongi's gut so hard that he quickly bent over to hold his stomach and that's what Nagisa wanted as she then struck with an uppercut with enough power to send the Grongi upward before she pulled booth her arms back and struck with both her fist hitting Grongi as from her fists, black electricity appeared and…

*BOOM!*

With the sound of a thunderclap, black thunder shot out from Nagisa's fist and struck Ginoga, sending him flying with the speed of a flying rocket as Ryō and the others quickly ducked as Ginoga was sent out to the open and way from the gathered police cars.

"White!" Nagisa shouted to Honoka and after what she saw Nagisa do, she nodded and leaped over police cars and ran up to Ginoga who was beginning to get back up.

Ginoga saw Honoka coming up to him and went to get up quickly, but Honoka dashed in and came in with a rushing knee strike, hitting him under the chin as he was sent down to the ground. Honoka then, with amazing power, kicked under Ginoga by kicking the ground under him, her feet digging through the dirt ground before her kick finally struck Ginoga's back and then white electricity appeared around her foot before…

*BOOM!*

With another thunder clap, Ginoga was sent high into the sky as white thunder struck Ginoga and sent him far into the sky.

"Holy hell…" Rai commented as he and the other men watched as Ginoga fell down to the ground with enough force to make a crater. "What the hell did that kid teach those two?"

"Okay seriously, who the hell are those two?" Hiroshi asked as Nagisa quickly went over to Honoka's side.

*BOOM!*

"They're friends of No. 4." Ryō said as another pair of white and black thunder came down and struck the girls.

"Nagisa! Fight-mepo!" Mepple cheered for Nagisa.

"Honoka! You can do it-mipo!" Mipple also cheered.

Tightening their hands as hard as they could, the girls thrust their hands to Ginoga and shout.

"Pretty Cure Marble Screw!"

The pairs of white and black lightning blasts out of their hands, making them skid back, as the thunderbolts spiraled around one another and Ginoga watched in surprise before the finisher struck him across the chest and then there was an explosion.

(BGM End)

Both girls huff and puff, tired as they let go of each other's hands and drop down to their knees.

"Did…Did we get him?" Nagisa asked as she and Honoka looked towards the dust cloud and to their surprise, Ginoga was alright and getting back up.

"Uso(No way)!" Honoka said in surprise.

"I'm surprised. I didn't know the Linto's had warriors like you two. But in the end, I'm the victor."

Nagisa gritted her teeth and got back up with struggling effort as she grabbed Honoka's hand and struggled to get her up to her feet as the Cure in white was too tired to get back up.

"Shit! They need help!" Ryō said as he and the others acted fast and reloaded. While they knew their bullets would have no effect, they best they could hope was divert Ginoga's attention.

"Time to bring this to a beautiful end." Ginoga said as he traced his lips and was about to spew his spores once more…when he stopped. Everyone saw this and wondered what was wrong until he spoke. "You just don't know when to stay down, Kuuga."

(BGM: Kamen Rider Kuuga –Instrumental Ver.–)

Ryō's and the girls' eyes widen before they looked behind them and faster than they could blink, Dai in his Growing form armor dashed past them and tackled Ginoga down to the ground before he got back up, holding Ginoga up in a shime-waza(choke/stranglehold). Quickly losing air, Ginoga quickly elbowed Dai in the gut, making him release the Grongi and stumble back. Getting air in his lungs, Ginoga went to punch Dai, but the Rider pushed aside his punch, spun around, and struck Ginoga in the chest with an elbow strike, making the Grongi stumble back before Dai spun around again and high kicked Ginoga, hitting the Grongi's temple and sending him down to the ground with his head ringing and vision blurring. With the Grongi down, Dai jumped back and took a stance, preparing his Growing Kick. Feeling energy gather at his feet, Dai soon ran towards the Grongi who was getting up wobbling, jumped and flipped in midair before coming down with a flying kick which struck Ginoga's chest, sending the Grongi down to the ground again.

"He got him!" Nagisa cheered only for Ginoga to get right back up. "What!?"

"It didn't work!?" Honoka said.

"Hehe, nice try, Kuuga." Ginoga chuckled as the mark on his chest seemed incomplete and faded away.

"Tch!" Dai clicked his tongue, seeing that that his kick wasn't powerful enough and showed that he wasn't back up to a hundred percent yet. Taking a stance again, Dai gathered energy at his feet and executed the Growing Kick again, jumping, flipping, and then kicking Ginoga's chest a second time which sent the Grongi back down to the ground once again.

Ryō then came over, standing next to the girls as he saw Ginoga get back up with the mark on his chest fading away. "Is he too powerful?"

"One more time!" Dai said as he took a stance and gathered energy.

The gem of his right ankle band glowed red as Dai took a moment this time to gather mother energy. Ginoga got back up to his feet and ran towards Dai, not letting him kick a third time, but he was too late for Dai soon ran towards him, leaving burned footprints behind as he soon jumped, flipped, and kicked. The Growing Kick found Ginoga's chest a third time and sent the Grongi flying back as Dai landed on his knees and Ginoga on the ground once again. He struggled to get up, but withered in pain when the mark on his chest now looked complete unlike the earlier attempts and cracks started forming, reaching down to his belt.

"God damn you…Kuuga!" Ginoga cursed Dai before he exploded in front of everyone's eyes.

(BGM End)

Everyone stood in silence as they watched Dai stand back up victorious before he turned his head towards them. He then raised his arm up and gave the three a thumbs up before his armor vanished, leaving Dai dressed in his casual outfit and his usual smile.

Ryō and the girls couldn't help, but smile back as Ryō said, "You're late, Ichi Dai!"

"Eh?" Dai looked at Ryō in confusion before said man walked away, but not without giving him a thumbs up himself. Dai smiled and lowered his hand before he looks towards the girls.

"Ichi-kun…" Honoka muttered as she and Nagisa returned to their normal selves, their outfits disappearing.

"Sorry I made you two worry." Dai said, scratching the back of his head as he looked at the girls and the cuts and bruises on their faces, telling him that they had fought Ginoga while he was unable to fight.

"…Baka(Idiot)." Nagisa said as tears of happiness appeared from her eyes before she and Honoka ran towards Dai who did the same to meet up with them.

"I am so confused right now." Hiroshi said.

"We have a lot to talk about back at HQ." Rai said as he patted Hiroshi on the back and helped the men who survived.

Ryō pushed his glasses up as he looked back and saw the girls tackling Dai to the ground as all three had smiles on their faces.

And for some, he couldn't help, but think that the sky looked great that day.

And…done! Holy crap that was a lot to write! I'd say this is the second longest chapter for this story. Anyway, I hoped you all loved today's chapter! I was kind of here and there for this chapter for a while until I found what I wanted to do and I think this chapter turned out pretty great! And I hoped you liked the girls fighting against Ginoga and the little surprise I threw in when Sanae owned Poisony. Next time, it's time for Kiriya to enter the lives of the girls and Dai. "Hello minna-san and welcome back for another Pretty Cure: Rider Fun Facts-mepo!" Mepple spoke up as he and the others appeared.

"Today was quite crazy today, wasn't it?" Honoka said.

"Tell me about it. I thought we almost lost Dai-kun." Nagisa said.

"What? Worried for your future boyfriend-mepo?" Mepple asked in a teasing smile and tone.

"U-Urusai(Shut up)!"

"Anyway, today we'll be talking about the stone embedded in Dai's Arcle belt, the Amadam Stone-mepo!" Mepple said as the Arcle appeared on screen.

"The Amadam Stone?" Honoka repeated.

"Hai(Yes)." Mipple said as she explained. "The Amadam is a special stone embedded in the Arcle belt, the source of Kuuga's power. Truthfully, not much is known about the Stone, but according to the wiki, it is able to extend the lifespan of a person who has it-mipo."

"Wait, wait, wait! Did you just say extend!?" Nagisa asked in surprise.

"Yes, I did-mipo."

"Does that mean Dai-kun's gonna outlive us all?"

"If the information is correct, maybe-mepo." Mepple said. "Besides the Stone changing color whenever Dai changes form, he isn't the only one with said Stone as other like N-Daguva-Zeba have it and even Gouram has one too-mepo."

"Not only that, but according to the wiki, the Stone is powered by the user's will and would corrode a weak user. Gooma in the TV series went berserk when an unrefined fragment of Daguva's Amadam was forced directly into his body. Additionally, the Arcle also acts as a stabilizer to the bearer in order to prevent them from going berserk-mipo." Mipple said.

"Wait, if Ichi-kun didn't have an Amadam Stone in his belt, he would have gone berserk?" Honoka asked.

Mipple nodded. "That's right-mipo."

"I'm starting to feel worried for Dai-kun." Nagisa said.

"Don't you worry, Nagisa. Dai knows all this already so you don't have to worry about a thing-mepo." Mepple said. "Anyway, that's all the time we have here. Next time, watch as Kiriya enters the other's school and for a little something as well. Until then, see you next time-mepo!"

The four all wave to the crowd before they all took their leave.
