Ichi Dai had a somewhat good life. Working at his uncle's orphanage, taking care of the kids, and so on. But on his birthday, he was suddenly transported to PreCure no Sekai. After a year of living in this new world, he later finds out that Grongi are here, causing chaos and death wherever they go. As the new Kamen Rider Kuuga, he must protect this world's smile. "Chou Henshin!"

15. Ride 15: A New Enemy Appears!

Hello Fanfiction readers! Ashbel Longhart back to do some more Pretty Cure and holy shit has it been a long time! Like, five months! Of course that doesn't compare to my react story, but we're not here to talk about that, we're here for some Kuuga! Cue disclaimer!

(Disclaimer: I do not own Kamen Rider Kuuga or Futari wa Pretty Cure. They both belong to their respective owners. I just own this story and my OC's.)

Now then, last time, Dai and the girls had a bit of a scuffle but have reconciled and are better friends! And as you can see people, I've skipped an episode from the Pretty Cure show as I deemed it unneeded of course I will mention it in today's chapter. But right now, it's time dive back into one of my most hardworking stories because goddamn do I put a lot of thought and research when making these chapters! Chou Henshin!

Ride 15: A New Kind of Enemy!? Stress Full Throttle! Being the Madonna is Tough!

---

(One Year Ago)

"So this is where you live." Dai said, looking up at the wall that surrounded the Yukishiro estate. Well, it really wasn't an estate since the land wasn't that big but the structure of the place made him think the house was an estate. It could certainly pass off as one.

"Yep. This is where I live." Honoka said as she walked over to the door. "I'm surprise you asked if you could come over. I don't usually invite a lot of people here, even my friends."

"Don't you barely have friends?" Dai said, pointing out how most of the science club members were treated like acquaintances rather than friends. The only one who seemed closest to being treated like a friend was a girl named Yuriko.

Whether Honoka was bothered by what Dai said or not, she didn't show it as she entered her house with Dai following behind.

"Tadaima(I'm home)!" Honoka called out as she closed the door behind her.

"Okaeri(Welcome home), Honoka." From the house came a very elderly woman followed by a golden retriever dog that immediately ran to Honoka's side and ran circles around her.

"Haha, it's good to see you too." Honoka laughed as she knelt down and ran her fingers through the fur of her dog.

"Oh?" It was then that Honoka's grandma took notice of Dai's presence.

"Pardon the intrusion." Dai bowed to the elderly woman before introducing himself. "I'm Ichi Dai. It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise. I'm Honoka's grandmother, Sanae." The now named Sanae bowed in return, wanting to be respectful to the guest before asking, "Tell me, what brings you over? My Honoka rarely brings anyone over."

"I just came over to do some work, thought it be fun. Sorry for intruding, er again." Dai said.

"Oh no, it's no problem." Sanae said before the dog started to circle around Dai, examining him and what not.

"Well hello there." Dai knelt down to the dog and offered and open palm to him. The dog sniffed his palm before he went up to the boy and proceeded to lick him. "Haha, hey!"

"Wow, I've never seen Chuutaro like someone so fast before." Honoka comments as she smiles at the scene of Dai trying to get the now named Chuutaro to stop licking him.

And so, Dai would continue to make frequent visits to the Yukishiro estate for the remainder of the year and while Honoka never voiced it out loud, she was happy to have Dai over. Before she even realized it, the boy had become an irreplaceable friend.

(One Year Later)

"We're back~!" Was the first thing Nagisa said as she stepped out of the train, having returned from her family trip as said family had been away for the entirety of Golden Week.

"Oh stop acting like that, Nagisa." Nagisa's mom, Rie, said as she and the rest of the Misumi family stepped off the train. "You act as if the entire trip was one bad experience."

'Oh if only she knew.' Nagisa thought as in her mind, images of fog, giant samurais, and Poisony appeared.

"Now I know it's not what you expected but you still had fun, right?" Nagisa's dad, Takeshi, asked.

"Yeah, I guess."

"I certainly had fun." Came the voice of Honoka as she and her grandmother, Sanae, stepped off the train. As it turns out, both Nagisa and Honoka were vacationing at the same vacationing spot and thus, both families came together to enjoy the few days they had away from the city.

"It was a very wonderful experience. It's too bad that Dai couldn't come along. He would have loved it." Sanae said. Both families were well acquainted with said boy as both families learned a bit more about him from info exchanges. Of course there wasn't much to share with a limited amount of knowledge of one year. But the boy was well loved nonetheless.

"Hm?" Then, Ryota, Nagisa's little brother, noticed someone waving at them.

"Oi~! Minna(Everyone)~!"

Hearing the call, everyone turned and soon smiled as the boy Sanae was just talking about was running towards them.

"Dai/Ichi-kun!" Both Nagisa and Honoka said as they ran ahead to meet up with the Rider.

"Nagisa-chan! Honoka-chan!" Dai called out to the two girls before he and said girls came to a stop once they reached one another. "Okaeri(Welcome back)!"

"It's good to be back." Nagisa said with Honoka nodding in agreement, both girls smiling.

Honoka then noticed something about their friend. "Ichi-kun, did you…get taller?"

Nagisa soon noticed it too before she walked up to him to measure him. Before, Dai was merely half a head taller than her, but now the Rider a head and an inch taller than her!

"What the heck? When did you get so much taller!?" Nagisa said in surprise. She and Honoka were gone for three days at most. Where did this sudden growth spurt come from!?

"Hehehehehe, I'm just as surprised as you are." Dai said as he rubbed the back of his head. "But how was your trip, you two?"

"Well…" Both girls looked at one another before saying, "We'll tell you about it later."

"Okay." Dai said before looking up to see the rest of the family approaching them. Dai immediately greeted them with a smile as Ryota ran up to give the Rider a surprise hug.

(Insert STRIKE BACK by BACK-ON)

(Instrumental) The song starts as the camera rises up to show the legs of Kuuga before we get a sudden screen shot of Cure Black and Cure White before go back to Kuuga. Just as the camera is at the Arcle, we get a sudden shot of Mepple and Mipple before the camera gets to his chest. We then get another sudden shot of The PreCure cards surrounding Gouram before we go back to Kuuga whose back was facing the camera. He then suddenly turns around and punches the screen, cracking it as the title appears.

(Kidou sura kaerarenai kurai no kakuritsu da to shite mo) We now see Nagisa playing lacrosse with her team, catching a ball as Mepple is seen sleeping from Nagisa's bag.

(IPAASENTO demo areba mochiron teikou desho?) We then see Honoka with the members of the science club, doing an experiment that ended in an explosion as Mipple just giggles at the scene.

(Shosen, "unmei" to nagetsukerareta tte, No I won't!) We go to the city where police are examining a dead body. Ryō looks at the body before he walks away and gets out his phone, calling Dai.

(Hikkuri kaeshite, Because datte kimi to mirai wo miretara saikou janai?) Dai, riding on the TryChaser 2000, gets the call from his radio and speeds up, passing both Nagisa and Honoka as he races to meet up with Ryō.

(Bring it on! 'Cuz I'm just gonna grow up in the battle HEY! buchinuku donten!) Suddenly, the sky turns dark before the Dark King and his subordinates appears as well as an army of Zakenna appeared. Appearing with him was a shadow figure of N-Daguva-Zeba along with an army of Grongi.

(Still burning my fire ten wo kirsaku raimei I gotta kakikesu Nightmare tada mirai ga mitakute!) Nagisa and Honoka step in fear before Dai suddenly appeared behind them and gave them his signature smile and a thumbs up.

(Kako, mirai, soshite ikiteru ima, I ain't scared of my past and now for takusareta asu) Seeing his smile seemed to steel the girl's resolve as they took out the Queen PreCure and Dai summoned the Arcle belt.

(Screaming out for my pride!) A light then suddenly appears and appearing from it was Kamen Rider Kuuga along with Cure Black and Cure White, ready for battle.

(Namida mitakunai kara, sakebi tsudzukeru yo! Zutto...) Cure Black and Cure White engage a battle with some Zakenna before taking on Pisard, IIkubo, Poisony, Kiriya, and Gekidrago.

(I'm never falling down! oi kaze wo se ni fukitobasu Destiny!) Both sides trade blows for a bit before both girls held hands and fired their signature Marble Screw.

(Kono senaka ni aru, egao mamoritai kara! Zutto...) We see Kuuga kicking way a few Grongi, bashes them with the Dragon Rod while in his Dragon form, shoots a flying Grongi with his Pegasus Bowgun in his Pegasus form, slash a few more Grongi with his Titan Sword in his Titan form.

(I gotta blast off your pain for you and me! kanashimi nante Rest in peace!) Dai and the girls meet regroup as they face both the Dark King and N-Daguva-Zeba. Dai charges up a Mighty Kick before he jumps.

(Nando demo...) The girl then threw another Marble Screw as Dai kicks towards the two beings of darkness with the Marble Screw following close behind him before a light overtakes everything and we see a quick look at the blue sky before the song ends.

(Dark Zone)

In the dark, swirling dimension that was the Dark Zone, darkness itself reigned supreme. And at its center is the ruler and leader of the Dark Zone, the Dark King.

"The Power of Light is growing stronger. The two stones which escaped and the two stones which have been taken back by the Garden of Light. We cannot allow them to take anymore. We must not let the Garden of Light revive!"

The flames of the 'room' danced as the echoes of the Dark King's voice blew through as what remained of the Dark Generals, Ilkuubo, Poisony, and Kiriya, listened to their leader's words.

"It seems we don't have much time left." Ilkuubo said. "In this situation, sooner or later, the Dark Zone's very existence…"

"I know, however, please let me do things my way." Kiriya said. "I have my own methods."

Both Ilkuubo and Poisony watch the boy walk away and once he was gone, they spoke.

"Even though you're just a kid, you talk like you know everything." Poisony said. Despite being Kiriya's big sister, her faith in him was starting to waver. Whatever method Kiriya was trying to do, she couldn't see it as all he's done was trying to be better at whatever Dai did, mostly soccer. Kiriya probably doesn't realize how integrated he is in the soccer club.

"In any case, we shouldn't delay." Ilkuubo said as he turned to Poisony. She still had her task to do.

"Leave it to me." Poisony said as she turned to leave…

"I wonder about that." When a figure from the shadows suddenly spoke up, surprising the two Dark Generals. While the shadows covered the figures appearance, they knew instantly who it was.

"Daguva…" Ilkuubo said, his instincts telling him to be extremely cautious of the leader of the Grongi.

Well, 'leader' was being used lightly as the Grongi was letting his kind run wild, spreading chaos all over Japan. Still, the Dark General chose to keep his distance. While they might argue, the other Dark Generals would reluctantly agree that Ilkuubo was the strongest of the Dark Generals and the fact that Daguva got past his senses reminded everyone why he was able to talk nonchalantly with the Dark King without said being getting angry at him. He had power to back up his attitude and the Dark Generals did not want to be the on receiving end of it.

"What do you want?" Poisony asked while making sure she didn't say anything that might set Daguva off. The…monster before her was someone she, if anyone, couldn't get a read on. He acted smug like a child yet his intellect was astounding. No one could ever guess what he was thinking.

"No need for the hostilities, I just thought I should lend a helping hand." Daguva said.

"You want to help?" Poisony raised an eyebrow at that. "Why the sudden interest? The most help you've given is assistance from other Grongi." Which she remembers that Daguva has been killing off on his own. He says he's simply 'taking care of weaklings.' Just the fact that he's killing his own kind was enough to set anyone on edge.

"Let's just say I'm a good mood today." Daguva said as smile could somehow be made out in the shadows. It creeped both Generals out.

"Hmph, if it can take care of the one known as Kuuga then I guess I'll accept your help." Poisony said. It was best to accept than to deny. After all, she liked living.

"Still think you can beat those Pretty Cure girls if Kuuga isn't with them." Daguva didn't ask, rather he stated. "Didn't your last battle with them prove they can hold their own even without Kuuga's assistance?"

"Urusai(Shut up)! They just got lucky because of what happened!" Poisony snapped at the Grongi. She had been analyzing past battles involving the girls and she had found that in some shape or form, Dai had some help in their battles. Thus she has come to believe that without Dai's aid, the girls were easy pickings.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." Daguva said while shrugging his shoulders. "Anyway, let me ask you. Do you remember that group of Linto, humans as they're called now, from that one battle with Uzaa? I believe one of them even shot you."

"How could I forget?" Poisony gritted her teeth as rage filled her mind. Behind the fingerless sleeves of her left hand was a bullet scar left by that time from Ryō. She made a mental note to remember his face so she could kill the man for giving her the scar in the first place.

"Well, I just recently found their base of operations." Daguva said. "Now tell me, those Zakenna of yours can fuse with anything, right?"

"Yes…?" Both Generals were wondering where Daguva was going with this.

"Well…" Daguva's smile then widen a little. "Let's just say I have a great idea in mind."

As Daguva continued to smile, making both Generals anxious, the Dark King groaned, his voice echoed far in the dimension.

"Stones, the Seven Stones! The Power of Creation, give it to me!"

(Investigation HQ)

Ryō stood straight and tall, arms behind his back as he stood before the Chief of Police and Leader of the Special Investigation Task Force, Chief Hiwagawa.

"You wanted to see me, sir?" Ryō asked.

"Please, take a seat." Hiwagawa gestured to one of the chairs in front of his desk as Ryō quickly sat in one. "Now then, on to the matter at hand. Four days ago, I have been getting reports about a pair of girls fighting against monsters from some sort of secret organization."

'Oh no.' Ryō thought as this was the last thing he wanted to bring up and talk about with the chief.

"Now I simply chose to ignore this until I kept getting more reports about this and was even handed visual evidence." Hiwagawa then opened and reached into a drawer and pulled out a folder, placing it on his desk. Opening it were typed up reports clipped together along with a few pictures depicting Nagisa and Honoka as Pretty Cure fighting together with Dai against Uzaa.

Ryō didn't know who took these photos but he made a mental note to hunt them down and slug them in the face. When no one is looking, of course.

"Now I heard that you, Kuzaragi, and Sakurai were at the scene. So before I call the other two in I will cut to the chase and ask you once: Who are these girls?" Hiwagawa asked, his expression telling Ryō that he wanted nothing but the truth from him.

Now Ryō was in a pinch. This is exactly why he chose to keep the girls, the Pretty Cure, a secret. Chief Hiwagawa, while strict at times, was an honorable man who would rather fight his own battles using his own power but he wasn't that arrogant as to not accept help when needed. And if asked, he would not hesitate to admit that the assistance of Dai, No. 4 as he's mostly known by the Task Force and by the people of the city, was a big help in their battles against the Unidentified Lifeforms. But if word got out that there were others just as cable of fighting against the Grongi clan head on then they would get inducted into the Task Force. He couldn't let that happen.

"Chief, they're children." Ryō, admitting that he does know who the girls are but refuses to say what they are. "The fight against the Unidentified Lifeforms is our fight. I'm sorry Chief but I cannot allow these girls to get involved in our bloody conflict."

"And I agree with you."

…

…

…

"…huh?" Ryō blinked a few times before looking at Hiwagawa in surprise.

"I'm not blind, Ichijo. Just by looking at this I can tell these girls are no older than junior high students." Hiwagawa said as he picked up a photo and looked at it as he continued to speak. "You are right when you say our fight against the Unidentified Lifeforms is a bloody one. I too do not want to drag anyone else into our fight. We're already asking much of men who are willing to lay down their lives in this fight."

"Then why do you want to know who they are?" Ryō asked. If the chief wasn't asking what they are then what is he asking for?

Chief Hiwagawa didn't answer right away. Instead, he placed the photo in his hand down and grabbed another one, this one depicting Poisony as he showed it to Ryō.

"There is another group out there that is trying to cause harm to the people and this city. As Chief of Police I have a duty to make sure that no harm comes to the populace. And if these girls are the ones fighting this mysterious group then rather have them join us, I'd like to help them in any way I can."

"Chief Hiwagawa…"

"So as I said before: Who are these girls?"

Now comes the moment of truth.

…

…

"…Sir," Hiwagawa paid close attention to what Ryō has to say. "They call themselves Pretty Cure."

(Verone Academy)

It was another normal day at Verone Academy. Classes went by like normal and now, club activities were going on. Speaking of clubs, Nagisa was back to playing lacrosse on the field.

"Go for it, Misumi-senpai!" One of many female students cheered as Nagisa played lacrosse with the rest of the team while at the same time, dwelled into her new habit of recalling past events.

'The other day was hectic in more ways than one. Not only did we have to deal with fake Pretty Cures but also comes to term with the fact that Dai-kun actually came from another world. I'm friends with an alien, how crazy is that!? And don't even get me started on our rare family vacation.'

Even with these thoughts running through her mind, Nagisa was still able to play as she caught the ball with her lacrosse stick. 'The Dark Zone attacked once again. It totally sucked. We don't know when they'll attack us again so we should be on our guards.'

"Nagisa!" Rina called out to her friends.

"Alright!" Nagisa smiled confidently as she leaped high into the air and swung her stick down, sending the ball down where it passed the goalie and struck the goal, getting multiple cheers from the crowd.

"That was great, Nagisa!" Shiho said as she and Rina ran up to their friend.

"Looks like your skills haven't rusted at all since you've been away." Rina said.

"I've only been gone for a few days. Have more confidence in me." Nagisa said when suddenly…

"What? The Madonna is…"

"Really?"

"Let's go see!"

Nagisa watched in confusion as the entire lacrosse team ran off towards the main gym.

"Madonna?" Confused at first, Nagisa quickly realized as to why the entire team was so excited before she quickly followed.

Once she made it into the main gym, she saw that a volleyball match as going on between their school, Verone, against another, Otakaku. The score was 18-20 with Verone taking the lead. Both teams seemed evenly match until Nagisa saw it.

A girl wearing number 7 on her shirt leaped up and performed a powerful spike as the ball flew past two Otakaku students trying to stop it and struck their side before another student could intercept the ball thus Verone earned another point.

"One, two, Yuka-senpai!"

"Kyaa!"

"Go, go!"

"Wow, great!"

"Wow, just what you'd expect from the 'Madonna' of Verone Academy." Nagisa commented.

Said 'Madonna' is a pretty girl with long, wavy light brown hair with curled side parts, short bangs, and a light pink bow usually worn in her hair. Her eyes are in a darker shade of brown. This is Odajima Yuka, the so-called 'Madonna' of Verone Academy.

*BAM!*

"Ah! Look out!"

"Huh?" The warning came a little too late as while everyone quickly ducked, Nagisa watched as a speeding volleyball was heading her way. She would have gotten hit if not for Dai's training which honed her reaction time. Without even thinking, Nagisa raised her lacrosse stick and caught the ball and spun around, moving with the momentum of the ball as she threw it out and everyone watched as the ball flew and landed through the hoop of a basketball hoop. By the time Nagisa realized what she had done, those around her were clapping.

"Nagisa, that was amazing!" Rina commented.

"Ahahahaha…" Nagisa could only laugh as she rubbed the back of her head. "That was a pretty nice shot, wasn't it?"

Like most, Yuka stared at Nagisa in surprise before she spotted the bouncing volleyball and quickly grabbed it before calling out to the referee.

"Continue the game." She said before throwing the ball.

And so the game continued and in the end, the score was 21-25 with Verone taking the win. This of course made everyone cheer as Nagisa with Rina and Shiho took their leave, having seen enough.

With a smile, Nagisa raised her stick into the air.

"Verone Academy's on a winning streak!"

"Just like the Madonna, she did it!" Rina said.

"Like, totally!" Shiho said. "She's just as good at sports as you are, Nagisa."

"Yuka-senpai is smart, beautiful, rich, and comes from a well to do family." Rina said.

"She's perfect!" Both Rina and Shiho said at the same time.

"But wait," Nagisa said as she just remembered something. "Wasn't Yuka-senpai in the tennis club?" She distinctively remembered Yuka playing tennis before.

"No, no, no!" Shiho said as Rina explained.

"She's just a ringer to help them get into the regional tournament."

"Then volleyball is…" Nagisa asked.

"She's just a ringer in order to beat Otakaku's Girl School." Shiho said.

"Then what club does she actually belong to?" Nagisa asked. If she was just a ringer for the tennis and volleyball team, it made her wonder just what lucky club managed to have Yuka as an official member.

"Uh, tea ceremony?"

"Eh? Wasn't she in wind ensemble?"

"If I recall, I think I saw her giving a speech in the English Conversation club."

Volleyball, tennis, tea ceremony, wind ensemble, and English conversation…

'That's a lot of clubs.' The three friends all thought as they tried to think of what club Yuka is actually a part of.

"Odajima-senpai is really in the science club." A sudden voice spoke up and the three girls turned to see Honoka which her school bag in hand.

Remembering that school was about to end, the girls quickly rushed to the lockers to change. Nagisa was the first to finish as she gathered her stuff, switched her shoes at her shoe locker, and was now leaving school with Honoka as the girl was telling her more about Yuka.

"She's been in the science club since she was a freshman."

"She's amazing," Nagisa commented. "Not only can she be in sports clubs, she can also do art and science."

"Yes, indeed." Honoka agreed with her friend.

"Yukishiro-san." A voice suddenly called out as both girls turned and saw the very subject of their talk.

"Ah, Senpai, the volleyball tournament was great." Honoka said.

"Arigato(Thank you). Anyway what's going on in the science club lately? I'm sorry I haven't been able to attend as of late."

"Don't worry, everybody's doing their best." Honoka assured her senpai.

"If you leave it to Honoka, everything will be fine." Nagisa said, join in the conversation.

"Oh, you are the person who made the shot back then." Yuka said, recalling what happened during the volleyball match.

"Yes, I'm Misumi Nagisa." Said girl introduced herself.

"Your reaction and Crosse technique was quite impressive." Yuka complimented.

"Ah, I'm not really…"

Yuka then added, "However, you almost caused an interference. Be more careful, okay?"

"Ah, uh, sumimasen(I'm sorry)." Nagisa apologized as she bowed with a gloomy look on her face.

"Well then, see you later." Yuka said before taking her leave.

"Good bye." Honoka said as she and Nagisa watched the Madonna leave.

While Nagisa watches the girl leave, she comments, "I think she doesn't like me."

"I don't think so." Honoka said. "Odajima-senpai is a serious person so she's probably just cautioning you."

"Is she?" Nagisa had her doubts but chose to accept her friend's words for now.

"Anyway, let's get going." Honoka said. "We're meeting Ichi-kun over at my place so we can finally discuss with him about everything."

"Right." Nagisa nodded. Before she and Honoka had left for their family vacation, Dai had promised to tell them everything from his powers to what exactly are the Grongi.

Then…

"Shitsurei shimasu(Excuse me)!"

"Wah!?" Both girls jumped in surprise at the sudden loud voice. Turning, they saw a police officer standing there, his entire form straight with his hands by his side as if glued.

He appeared to be in his early 20's so around 21 or 22 years old. He has black hair under his police cap though it was cut so short that one would think the man was getting ready to leave for the military.

"Hello there! I am Morimichi Shirou! It's a pleasure to meet you!" The man, Morimichi Shirou, introduced himself rather passionately before he raised his right arm from his side and saluted to girls as if he was addressing a high ranking officer.

"Uh…domo(hello)?" Nagisa said nervously as she and Honoka didn't know what to make of this man that just suddenly appeared before them.

"Am I right to believe that you two are the ones known as Pretty Cu—?"

"AH!" Before the man could even finish, the girls jumped at him, knocking him down in order to cover his mouth. This of course drew attention to them so they quickly helped the man up before whispering to him.

"How do you know that!?" Nagisa asked as quietly as possible. The only ones who should know she and Honoka were Pretty Cure were Dai and possibly most of the Investigation Team. Now that she thought about it, a lot of people know about them now. Should she be worried? Probably.

"I heard about you from the Chief of Police. I heard about how you two are fighting against a mysterious organization in order to protect the people! Just hearing about it moved me so much that I just had come down and meet you two!"

"I-Is that so?" Honoka said as she was a bit put off by the man's…passionate personality. Heck, if this were an anime right now, she would have a sweat drop running down her head.

"Nagisa-chan? Honoka-chan?" Hearing their names, the girls turn around and see Dai, having finally finished soccer club practice.

"Oh! Dai-kun! Did soccer practice just finish?" Nagisa asked as the Rider walked over to them.

"Yeah, I'm ready to go." Dai said before turning to Shirou, having noticed him immediately. "And you are…?"

"I am Morimichi Shirou! I recently just graduated from the academy and am now working as probationary officer under the service of fellow officer Kuzaragi Rai! It's nice to meet you!"

"…Oh. Well then, I'm Ichi Dai, a friend of the girls. Likewise, it's nice to meet you." Dai said as he stuck out his hand for a hand shake and Shirou accepted it right away, shaking it with passion. Dai had to pull his hand away in order to stop lest his hand would get stuck in an infinite loop. "Well, we better get going. We still have some homework to do so if you'll excuse us."

"Of course, forgive me for holding you three up." Shirou said before bowing towards them. He then turned and walked away though it was more akin to marching off.

"Well, he was…unique." Was all Dai could say before the three started walking towards the direction of Honoka's house.

"You can say that again." Nagisa said as she let out an exhausted sigh. They didn't talk much yet she already felt like she was ready to jump into bed.

"You seemed surprised by something when he introduced himself." Honoka pointed out, noticing Dai had not responded immediately when Shirou had introduced himself earlier. "Do you perhaps know him by chance?"

"I've never really met the guy but I do recognize his last name." Dai said as he thought about the man. Morimichi Shirou…no doubt, he was this world's version of Morimichi Sugita though Dai was honestly surprised. He had thought for a while that Kuzaragi Rai was this world's version of Morimichi Sugita with their personalities being quite similar but it seems this world's Morimichi was younger and far less experienced being a probationary officer and all that. If he had to guess, all that passion from earlier was from the word elders often associated with the younger generation: Youth.

'Though since he's working under Kuzaragi-san then he might grow up to be like him, or at least learn a few things from him.' Dai thought as humanity has a history of learning from the past.

"'His last name'?" Nagisa repeated before asking, "What do you mean?"

Now normally, Dai would have said something to avoid the question but before the girls went on their family vacation, he had promised to tell them everything, all the secrets he's been keeping from them for a year. And so, he responded…

"I'll tell you once we get to Honoka-chan's place."

The girls accepted his answer but their curiosity and anxiety grew. Finally, they were going to learn everything so how could they not be anxious? They have wondered for a long time about what exactly Dai's powers are, the Grongi clan, and how he knew about them so much. Of course they know now how he knows everything(it was still crazy to think everything was part of a TV show in his world) but they only know from what they scratched form the surface. They wanted to go deeper, they wanted to know more.

With these thought running through their minds, the girls weren't surprised that they had arrived at Honoka's house before they even realized it. After saying hello to Sanae before the elderly woman went off to get some snacks and drinks, the three entered Honoka's room. Now alone, both Nagisa's and Honoka's fairy partners, Mepple and Mipple, came out from their holders and took on their true forms. While it was better to conserve energy in their other form, it was like being stiff still thus they felt better moving around to stretch their muscles.

"To be honest, I never thought the day would come when I would tell you two all this." Dai said as he sat down on the bed. "But here we are now."

"How do you feel?" Honoka couldn't help but ask. She didn't want to force her friend to say anything if he didn't want to.

"I feel…relieved." Dai admitted. "I'm not fond of keeping things from friends so the fact that I'm finally doing this is making me happy. Of course I'm not sure I can tell this all of my friends but I'm happy to enough just to tell this to you two, the first friends I've made since coming to this world."

Dai then flashed them his signature smile and the girls couldn't but smile back. The fact that Dai was telling them this, even after what had happened, shows how much he trusts them and it made them happy they could be trusted with as something as big as this. Mepple and Mipple come from a different world themselves but they talked much about their home. They'll have to ask one of these days but for now, it was time for some questions to finally get answered.

"Alright, ask away you two. I'll try to answer them the best I can." Dai said, giving out the okay sign that the girls can now ask any question they wanted.

The girls looked at one another and it was mentally decided that Honoka would ask the first question. The smartest girl in Verone Academy(although she doesn't believe this no matter what people say to her) racked her brain, thinking of what to ask. She shouldn't ask anything complicated from the start so it's best to start with something simple. How about…

"Just what exactly are your powers, Ichi-kun?" When Honoka asked this, she didn't just want to know what his powers are and what they're cable of; she wanted to know if there was any history to them. She and Nagisa's powers, the powers of Pretty Cure, are supposedly legends in Mepple and Mipple's world. If their powers had a history to them then perhaps Dai's powers too had some history or a story to them.

Dai saw of this despite Honoka not speaking a word of her thoughts. Thus he responded in kind…

"My powers are the powers of Kuuga, the ancient Linto warrior that protected the Linto tribe 2000 years ago."

"2000 years…?" Honoka was honestly surprised. Dai's powers dated that far back?

"What is this so called 'Linto?'" Nagisa asked, her turn to ask questions. During the times she and Honoka have fought Grongi, they always refer to them as 'Linto.'

"The Linto were a nature-loving and peaceful tribe of humans who lived in the early era of civilization." Dai answered. "And they are also the ancestors of modern day humans thus why the Grongi refer humans as Linto for they are the descendants of the tribe they preyed upon."

"Wait, preyed upon?" Honoka noticed the phrase in an instant, not liking how it sounded. Nagisa was the same.

"Yes," Dai nodded before turning to Nagisa. "Nagisa-chan, I'm sure you already know about the Grongi. You did have my notes when I was coma after all."

"Ah, that's right." Nagisa said, remembering what notes Dai had written down said. It honestly surprised her that she remembered everything. It was just so…interesting that she couldn't forget. It certainly was more interesting than studying for a test.

"Well, for Honoka-chan's sake, I'll tell you." Dai said before explaining. "The Grongi clan was mysterious ancient civilization made up of beings that can transform into monsters to kill people for their ruthless game known as the 'Gegeru'. In the past, they attacked their rival civilization, the Linto tribe."

"I think your notes said that the Grongi clan used to be human too like the Linto tribe." Nagisa added, getting a surprised reaction from Honoka.

"Eh!?"

"That's right." Dai nodded. "The Grongi were once humans, much like the Linto. They had found a meteorite with strong yet strange metals, which allowed them to form new weapons and easily defeat other neighboring tribes. During one fateful expedition, the Grongi found the metals had changed them, allowing them to assume beast-like forms to kill even more effectively at the cost of their humanity."

"That's horrible…" Honoka couldn't help but say that. "But, Ichi-kun, doesn't that mean you've been fighting fellow human beings?"

"The Grongi are no longer human's, Honoka-chan." Dai said, his voice firm. "They've long since traded their humanity for their new powers and they use it on other people. Now while I don't normally use this word on others since it feels loose to me, I can't allow those monsters to run amok and kill anybody for their sick game. It stands against everything I stand for."

The word 'monster' was not as simple as it was in the past. The word monster was used to describe creatures that were hideous, unnatural, and wished to do nothing more but harm. But as time had passed and humanity evolved, the word 'monster' had blurred. It could describe anything. It could be used on a person who was heartless, it could be used one someone who committed villainous acts. The word itself can no longer just describe some unknown beast for literally anything had the potential to be a 'monster.'

This is what Dai thought of the word itself and thus doesn't use the word to describe anything that might be associated with it. The fact that he was using the word itself showed just how he viewed the Grongi clan.

"…How did the Linto tribe survive?" Honoka asked, putting the matter of the Grongi clan aside for now. They'll be here all night if she kept persisting about the clan of monsters and there were other questions that still needed answering.

"How did the Linto tribe fight back against the Grongi, is what you're asking right?" Dai asked and Honoka nodded. If the Linto tribe were the ancestors of the human race then the fact that humanity was still standing shows that the Linto tribe must have survived. But how?

"It was thanks to the ancient Linto warrior, Kuuga."

"Kuuga…that's what you're called when you transform, right-mepo?" Mepple said and Dai nodded.

"What or who is Kuuga-mipo?" Mipple asked.

"Well, first off, let me tell you more about the Linto tribe." Dai said before explaining. "Like I said before, the Linto tribe was a peaceful one. In fact, it was so peaceful they had no need for warriors. But this, of course, made them easy pickings for the Grongi. In fear of their tribe being eradicated by the Grongi, the village shamans sought the help of the Lords, who helped them by selecting Riku to become their tribe's defender and champion, Kuuga."

"Lords? Riku?" Honoka raised an eyebrow at the two names.

"Who are these 'Lords'-mipo?" Mipple asked.

"Now that may be a hard one to explain." Dai said. While he was an expert of anything related to Kuuga, any info he had on other Riders was minimum at best though he did have some knowledge of the Lords for they were connected with the Linto. Thus he explained as best he could.

"The Lords are a group of powerful disciples serving under the OverLord, who created them from his body. Since Tsukasa said this world was merged with the countless stories of Kamen Riders then there's a chance the Lords might one day show up."

"OverLord? Who's that?" Nagisa asked.

"Well, I can't get too much into detail since we're supposed to be talking about the Grongi but in short, the OverLord was the one who created the human race."

"…eh?" Nagisa, Honoka, Mepple, and Mipple all stared wide eyed at Dai in complete and utter shock.

"Anyway, back to the Linto tribe." And just like that with a clap of his hands, Dai changed the subject.

"C-C-C-Chotto Matte(Wait a Minute)!" Nagisa exclaimed. "You can't just change the subject just like that! Not after what you just said! Who the heck is this OverLord dude!? What do you mean he created the human—!?"

"Honoka?" Everyone jumped in surprise before Mepple and Mipple transformed back into their phone forms. The girls quickly grabbed them in time before Honoka's grandma, Sanae, entered the room with a tray of cookies and tea.

"I brought you and your friends some snacks."

"A-Arigato(Thank you), Obāchama(Grandma)." Honoka said as Sanae placed the cookies and tea on Honoka's work desk.

"I hope I wasn't interrupting anything. I heard yelling." Sanae asked, looking concerned.

"I-It's nothing, ma'am! Just me getting a little excited is all, nothing to worry about!" Nagisa said before she grabbed a cookie and stuffed it into her mouth. "Wow! Thish ish good!"

"Nagisa, don't eat with your mouth full." Honoka berated her friend while her grandma simply laughed at the sight.

"I'm glad you like it so much. I'll leave you three to yourselves now." Sanae said before she bowed out of the room, closing the door along the way. Once the three made sure that Sanae was gone did the girls release their fairy partners and continue from where they left off.

"Now I know you want to know more about the Lords but the Lords themselves are a whole other topic. I promise to tell you more about them later, but right now we need to get back on track. We can't stay here forever, after all."

Reluctantly accepting that, Nagisa gestured for Dai to continue.

"Now then, since I can't tell you everything about the Lords, I'll instead tell you about the man who defended the Linto tribe and who was the first Kuuga to fight the Grongi, Riku."

"This Riku was the Kuuga before you-mepo?" Mepple asked.

Dai nodded. "That's right. When the shamans of the Linto tribe sought help from the Lords, Riku was chosen to become the Ancient Linto Warrior known as Kuuga. He bravely fought the entire clan and even the leader of the Gurongi using his own powers and the Amadam stone to seal the remaining 200 of the Gurongi tribesmen away along with himself. But then, in Nagano, I'm sure you four know what happens next."

The girls and their fairy partners nodded. Archaeologists from Nagano had found the ruins containing the sealed Grongi and accidentally unsealed them, restarting the Grongi's death game, the Gegeru with the modern day human race acting as their targets now.

"But, wait," Honoka spoke up. "If this Riku was able to put a stop to the Grongi threatening them, then what happened to the Linto tribe?"

"Their lives were completely changed." Dai said, his expression grim which alerted the girls.

"…What happened?" Nagisa asked in careful tone.

Dai sighs sadly before speaking. "The Humans became as aggressive as the Grongi and sought things to satisfy their desires."

"Sonna(That can't be)…" Honoka spoke in disbelief.

"But, you said the Linto were a peaceful and nature-loving tribe-mipo." Mipple spoke up. "How did they become as aggressive as the Grongi-mipo?"

"Even I don't know but if I had to take a guess, it's because of the Kyūkyoku no Yami(Ultimate Darkness)." Dai said.

"The U-Ultimate Darkness-mepo?" Mepple's voice shook when he repeated what Dai just said.

"What is this U-Ultimate Darkness-mipo?" Mipple asked, her voice also shaking.

"It's a figurative speech."

"Eh?" The girls and their fairy partners all blinked in confusion when Dai had said that.

"What do you mean-mipo?" Mipple asked, confused.

"The Ultimate Darkness isn't actually some weird, corrupting power that the Grongi possess, it's more like a figure of speech." Dai explained the best he could as he thought about how best to explain the so-called 'Ultimate Darkness.' "You see, the leader of the Grongi clan, N-Daguva-Zeba, isn't actually that much of a leader. The title itself just says that he's the strongest out of his entire clan and species. And Daguva's goal isn't the same as the rest of his clan."

"What do you mean?" Honoka asked.

"You see, the whole point of the Gegeru is for Grongi to rise in both power and rank. From what I've learned, they do this in order to earn the right to fight Daguva for control over the whole clan." Dai explained.

"That's…You mean to tell us that the reason those monsters are killing people is just for petty control!?" Nagisa exclaimed angrily. Honoka too felt the same as her friend but she let her emotions show on her face instead of voicing it out. Nagisa pretty much did it for her anyways.

"That's another reason why I fight to stop the Gegeru game." Dai said before continuing his explanation. "Now being the leader and strongest of the entire clan, Daguva doesn't need to worry about rising to another Rank as the N Group are the strongest group of the entire Grongi clan."

"Wait, N Group? You mean there are more Grongi like this Daguva guy?" Nagisa asked.

"Well, there is one called N-Gamio-Zeda though he's the leader of the Grongi of an alternate world so unless he's sealed somewhere separate from the rest of the clan, I don't think you'll have to worry about him." Dai assured before adding, "It's probably better if he never shows up. While I personally think Daguva is stronger than him, Gamio's abilities still make him extremely dangerous."

"Why? What can he do?" Nagisa asked, curious.

"You mean besides the fact that can turn human corpses into Grongi?"

Nagisa held out her hand to stop the Rider from continuing. "Okay, I think I get the gist of what you're saying."

A Grongi that can turn human corpses into more Grongi? Just thinking about it sent shivers down the girls' and their fairy partners' spine. They silently prayed that someone like that doesn't exist in their world. And if it does, it remains sealed.

"Now then, back to what I was saying. Since Daguva doesn't have to worry about getting stronger, he has a different goal than the rest of the clan." Dai said. "His goal is to bring out the Ultimate Darkness which means he wants humanity to—"

"Be as violent as the Grongi." Nagisa suddenly interrupted, getting everyone to look at her. "I read it in one of your notes. This Ultimate Darkness that this Daguva guy wants to unleash is what happened the Linto tribe, right?"

Dai nodded. "That's right. Daguva wants humanity to just as violent as he and his clan is. He wants them to kill, start wars, attack nations, and do anything to satisfy their violent needs. In short, he wants to spread absolute chaos throughout the entire world."

"That…That doesn't make sense." Honoka said. "What exactly does he gain from trying to make humanity as violent as the Grongi? What does he hope to accomplish?"

"That, Honoka-chan, is something even I don't know about." Dai said. What does Daguva hope to accomplish out of all this? That thought never crossed the Rider's mind before.

From the corner of his eye, Dai spotted the clock and looked surprised at the time.

"Whoa, has that much time passed already?" Dai said before getting up. "Well, while I'm sure you girls want to ask more, Nagisa-chan and I have to head back now."

"Really?" Nagisa turned to the clock. "Wow, have we've been talking for that long?"

"Time flies when you aren't paying attention to it." Honoka commented as she saw the two out. "Can we talk more tomorrow?"

"Yeah, definitely." Dai nodded as he and Nagisa walked past the gates of the house.

"Well then, see you tomorrow." Honoka waved goodbye and the two did the same before walking back home.

As the two walked in silence, Nagisa was the first to break it.

"Hey, Dai-kun?"

"Hm? What is it?"

"You said you personally think that this Daguva guy is stronger than Gamio, who can turn corpses into Grongi." Nagisa began. "Just how strong is Daguva if you think that way?"

Dai hummed to himself, thinking of how best to explain his thoughts to Nagisa. He sound found one way that Nagisa could fully understand.

"You remember that Black Kuuga you saw in my notes?" Nagisa nodded. "That's Kuuga's Ultimate Form. It's the second most dangerous form of Kuuga, combining all the powers of Kuuga's forms and when in battle, Ultimate Kuuga is able to see a Grongi's human form and every single attack from Kuuga Ultimate causes his opponent to bleed, despite the enemy's powerful armor. The Ultimate Form also allows one to do pyrokinesis along with the ability to utilize the Dragon Rod, Pegasus Bowgun, and Titan Sword from Kuuga's other forms."

At this point, Nagisa and Mepple were looking at Dai with jaws dropped and wide open.

"Yeah, I know. The form's pretty crazy." Dai said while scratching the back of his head. There weren't that many Riders that could match Kuuga's Ultimate form stat wise. And let's not get started on Rising Ultimate.

"So wait, are you saying that this Daguva guy can match this Ultimate Form all of its power?" Nagisa asked and Dai nodded. "That's…That's crazy!"

"I know. And that's not all." Dai said.

"What else could there be-mepo?" Mepple asked. From what he was hearing, the Ultimate Form wasn't just called that for a reason. It really is the Ultimate Form. What more could it have to offer?

"You know how I have a finishing move like when I'm in Mighty Form." Dai asked.

"You mean when you kick Grongi with a flaming kick?" Nagisa said.

"Yeah, just like that." Dai said before explaining. "The Ultimate Form also has a finishing move called the Ultimate Kick and…" That's when Dai trailed off form there.

"And…what?" Nagisa asked, pushing Dai to speak more.

Dai sighs before speaking. "And it supposedly has the power to easily destroy the entire world."

Nagisa dropped her school bag in shock while Mepple himself almost fell out of his carrier at that sudden dropped bomb.

"..Aha…ahahahaha! Th-That's a good one, Dai-kun!" Nagisa laughed as she slapped her friend's back playfully. But she soon slowed to a stop when she saw the serious look on his face. "…Uso(No way). Th-That can't be true!"

"I said supposedly it has the power but it's never actually been shown." Dai said. "But a lot of people believe that it's true and frankly, I kind of believe it too."

"But…But that's insane!" Nagisa exclaimed. "I mean, the entire world!? With just a kick!? Dai-kun, I've seen your finishing moves and while they look pretty powerful, it can't just jump to something like planet-busting!"

"Have you seen Kuuga's Rising forms?" Dai suddenly asked.

"Eh?"

"The forms outlined in gold. Kuuga's Rising forms." Dai asked again and Nagisa slowly nodded, remembering the drawings depicted in Dai's notes. "The Rising Mighty Kick, the finishing move for Kuuga's Rising Mighty form, can cause the target of the kick to explode with the blast radius of a few city blocks. This is true because I've seen it."

If it were possible, Nagisa's and Mepple's eyes would have been the size of saucers right now as they stared at Dai in shock.

"A few…city blocks…?" Nagisa said in disbelief. She first thought her friend was joking but one look at his serious face told her that he was not joking. "That's….That's crazy!"

"More like insane-mepo." Mepple commented as he couldn't believe the destructive force of Kuuga's powers.

"The enemies from now on are going to get even tougher. And I'll need to find a way to access the Ultimate Form if I want any hope of defeating Daguva." Dai said. "Nagisa-chan—!"

"Stop." Nagisa stopped Dai before he could go any further. "If you're going to ask that Honoka and I stay clear of your fights from now on then forget it. Dai-kun, you've helped us out whenever we needed it and even when we didn't, you'd still help us. The least we can do is help you whether you need it or not. I think it's safe to say that…your fights are our fights, and our fights are your fights."

Dai looked at Nagisa in complete surprise, not expecting her to say all that. A smile soon made its way to his face as he fully turned to the girl and held out a hand.

"Right, I'll be counting on you."

"Likewise." Nagisa said as she took his hand and shook it.

"Me too-mepo!" Mepple, transforming into his real form, jumped onto their hands and placed his hand on them.

Dai and Nagisa couldn't help but smile at the fairy before Dai said, "But seriously, I need you guys to stay clear if or when I do go Rising Mighty. That form's kick is no joke."

"Right, I'll be sure to tell Honoka." Nagisa said before ending the handshake and catching Mepple who returned to his phone form. "Now then, let's head home."

"Right. Don't want to be late for school tomorrow."

(Nighttime, Investigation HQ)

All was quiet in the halls of the building that acted as the base of operations for the Special Investigation Team tasked with combating the Grongi. As the whole building was deathly quiet it wasn't surprising that the steps of the officer tasked with acting as a security guard echoed throughout the halls. This man wasn't the only officer acting as a security guard for there were more officers spread throughout the building.

"Man, how'd I get roped into this?" The man complained as he patrolled the halls. The night was eerily quiet which didn't help his nerves.

"Come on, pull yourself together. You're a grown man, a little darkness never hurt—"

*crash!*

"What was that!?" The officer said, having jumped in surprise at the sudden noise. He then went to investigate what made that sound but not before informing his fellow officers. It was never a good idea to investigate the unknown alone.

With his flashlight being his guiding light, the officer found himself at the room where the remains of defeated Unidentified Lifeforms were kept for research. Grabbing the handle, the officer was surprised to find the door open.

"It's open." The man muttered as he slowly and cautiously pushed the door open and flashed his flashlight around. Everything wasn't out of place except on the floor was a glass jar, broken and in pieces. The officer quickly deduced that the sound from before was from the jar.

"Huh, must have fallen off a shelf or something." The man said as he lowered his guard and entered the room. He moved his flashlight around to check for anything out of place but found nothing out of the ordinary, if you ignore the fact that this room was holding dead remains of monsters. Since there was nothing out of the ordinary, the officer decided to take his leave.

"I'm sure someone else will clean that up once morning comes." The man said, not bothering to clean up the broken jar as he turned to exit the room. "Still, why was the door unlocked? Did the people in charge of this room forget to lock it? That's pretty careless of them."

"Thank you for all your hard work." A sudden voice spoke up.

"Wha—!?" The officer jumped in surprise before turning quickly but not quick enough. He only got a glance at the form of Poisony before she snapper her fingers and then…

*BOOM!*

(The Next Day)

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!*

"Ah! Taihen(Oh no)! It's already this late!" Stuffing a piece of buttered toast into her mouth, Nagisa rushed out of the building in a hurry, expecting Dai to be waiting for her outside only to see empty streets. "Dai-kun! Why didn't you wake me—what the? Don't tell me he left without me!? Argh, I'll have to run for it!"

And so, Nagisa made a break for the train station.

'Today of all days! I'm late for homeroom today! This sucks!' Nagisa thought to herself as she, using the training she got from Dai, leaped forward and made it onboard the train. This of course drew attention to her though she hardly cared as she was now pacing on her feet, mentally begging the train to go faster.

A couple of minutes later, the train stopped and Nagisa was the first one out, taking a shortcut.

"Shortcut, shortcut…" Nagisa muttered as she ran down the streets before quickly having to move out of the way when a car horn sounded, startling her a little as she stepped to the side. A black car drove past her as Nagisa was then met with a surprising sight of who was inside the backseat of the car.

"Yuka-senpai?" Nagisa said as the girl in the car saw Nagisa and quickly ducked. Nagisa proceeded to watch the limo car drive off as she commented, "Just like a rich person, driving to school in style…Wait! Now's not the time to be impressed!" And so, Nagisa took off running again.

With Yuka, the girl slowly raised her head before sighing.

"I wonder if Misumi-san noticed me?" Yuka muttered before looking ahead to see the car nearing the entrance. "Here is fine, Muromachi-san."

"But we're almost to the entrance."

"It's fine, I'm sorry that you had to drive me two days in a row. I'll be more careful from now on." Yuka said as she got out of the car and started walking albeit with a bit more speed to make it seem like speed walking. "Every time the Madonna oversleeps she's driven to school, it's unacceptable."

The Madonna of Verone Academy. That was her title. While she didn't quite like the title at first, she grew into it and even took a bit of pride in it. To her, she was trying to set an example to how everyone else should be like. Hard working and excellent in both sports and smarts. If she was slacking off then it might affect those around her and that was something she did not want. But despite being talented, Yuka was still a regular human girl, slip ups were bound to happen. She can only make sure she doesn't make the same mistake a third time.

Unknown to the Madonna, she was being watched. Up on a building looking down from where she was at, Poisony smirked as her eyes were set on Yuka. Another new plan had formed in her head.

Back with Nagisa, she along with a few other students who were late ran into Verone and quickly changed their shoes before running through the halls. To Nagisa's dismay, the starting bell had rung and Nagisa increased her running speed in response. In under a minute, she reached her class room and wasted no time to swing the sliding door open and jump in, skidding to a stop as she announced.

"Safe!"

"Out!" Nagisa's teacher, Yoshinomi, said as if this were a baseball game. "Now the person who is late to class will clean the chalkboard during lunch break. Any objections?"

"…none." Nagisa lowered her head in depression as everyone except Honoka started laughing.

'That Dai-kun,' Nagisa thought. 'This is his fault that I'm late! Just wait until I get my hands on him!'

But as it turns out, Dai was in fact not at school. Which begged the question, where had he gone in the morning? The answer…

Multiple police cars and other vehicles like excavators and other construction vehicles surrounded the building that is the Investigation base…or what was left of it.

"What the in the world happened here?" Dai said o himself as he stared at the ruins of the building. Parts of the building were still standing but most of it looked like it had been blown to smithereens.

"Dai!" Said boy blinked when he heard his name. Turning, he saw Ryō with Hiroshi waving over at him.

"Ichijo-san!" Dai placed his helmet down on his bike before getting off and running over to the man, giving as far as the keep out tapes would allow as Ichijo met him halfway.

"Thanks for coming over." Ryō said, having called Dai this morning.

"What happened here?" Dai asked, looking at the ruined building behind the man.

"There was an explosion last night, destroyed most of the base." Ryō said. "We're currently investigating the cause right now."

"Was anyone hurt?" Dai asked.

"There were officers stationed here last night. Some were badly injured while others were found dead."

"Not a great way to start a morning."

"You can say that again."

"What do you mean they're gone!?" Suddenly, a voice practically screamed out, drawing lots of attention, including Dai and Ryō. Turning, the two saw that the owner of the voice was Enokida Sayuru who was talking to one of the investigators.

"I mean they're gone. We looked at the area where the room used to be and found none of the remains."

"That can't be! We had a fourth of the room filled with them! They can't just vanish like that!"

"Enokida-san!" Hearing his name, Sayuru turned to see Ryō and Dai who had passed the 'Keep Out' tape.

"Kouhai, shonen." Sayuru addressed the two.

"What's going on? Why are you yelling?" Dai asked.

"It's the remains of the Unidentified Lifeforms we've collected." Sayuru began. "Apparently, they all vanished."

"Vanished? What do you mean?" Ryō asked.

"I mean poof! Gone! Without a trace!" Sayuru exaggerated with his hands. "The investigators checked the area where the roomed we kept the remains and according to them, there was no sign of them anywhere."

"That…doesn't make sense." Dai said. "Sure, it makes sense if the remains were scatted all over the place but there'd be signs of them somewhere. They can't just disappear."

"That's what I said. But the people here said that there's not even a piece of them anywhere."

"Could they have been stolen?" Ryō suggested. "The explosion is pretty mysterious enough. What if the cause of it was someone breaking in."

"I guess that's possible but that would leave the questions as to why they would steal the remains." Sayuru said. "In the first place, no one should know that we keep the remains of Unidentified Lifeforms here. And even if they did, why would they want them? Sure they provide us hints and clues and ways to counter them but besides that, they're nothing more than pieces of flesh."

"What do you think, Dai?" Ryō asked the Rider.

"Hmm, I don't know." Dai said as no Grongi came to mind that would do something like this.

*zzzzzzzz*

Suddenly, Dai heard something. A low buzzing sound. Turning his head, from under a pile of rubble, he saw the shine of the sunlight reflect off a green gem.

"Gouram?"

*BOOM!*

In response to Dai's words, the pile of rubble was blasted away, surprising everyone as form underneath was the Armor Machine Gouram, having survived the explosion.

"Gouram!" Dai as well as Ryō and Sayuru ran over to the sentient horse armor as it slowly flew over to them, seemingly floating.

"Gouram! I'm glad to see you're alright." Dai said, inspecting the horse armor for any damage and found none. There wasn't even a scratch on it.

*zzzzzzzz!*

Gouram buzzed again before the Amadam Stone on its back started glowing, drawing Dai's attention. Dai could feel Gouram's eyes on him as he switched between looking at the Stone and Gouram.

"Do…Do you want me to touch it?" Dai asked.

"Maybe it's trying to tell you something." Sayuru guessed. "Maybe it might know something about the explosion."

"It's worth a shot." Ryō said, agreeing with the scientist.

Dai nodded before he turned and slowly moved his hand over to Gouram's Amadam Stone. Placing his hand on the Stone, Dai was soon seeing images in his head. They were fuzzy at first and lacked color, only appearing in black and white. But the images soon cleared up and he soon saw what had happened last night.

"Poisony." Dai spoke the name of the Dark General as he saw the image of her blowing up the building while taking the life of a patrolling officer in the process.

"That woman that was attacking the girls that one time?" Ryō asked, remembering that day. It was pretty hard to forget two girls fighting against monster construction vehicles.

"She was there last night." Dai began as he took his hand away from the Stone. "She stole all the Grongi remains. She was the one who blew up the building."

"But why? What could she want with the remains?" Ryō asked when a thought came to his head. "Unless…"

"It has something to do with the girls." Dai finished for Ryō, having the same idea as him.

"Ryō!" Hearing his name, the man turned to see Hiroshi running over to him.

"Hiroshi!" Ryō waited for the man to come to a stop before speaking to him. "Hiroshi, I need you and some men to move out. Those girls, the Pretty Cures, are being targeted so I need someone to keep an eye on them. I think their enemy might have something big planned out for them."

"If you think that's worrying, then you're not going to believe what I have to say." Hiroshi said. "I just got a call from Kuzaragi-san. He said that No. 1, No. 6, No. 14, and No. 15 have all reappeared!"

"NANI(WHAT)!?" Dai and Ryō both screamed out in disbelief.

(Verone Academy, After School)

The school bell rung, signaling the end of classes for today. As students filed out, talking amongst one another, within the crowd, we can see Yuka walking all alone as she exited school grounds and headed into the city.

"I have to hurry, my piano tutor will come soon and after that is my English conversation tutor will come" Yuka said to herself as she picked up the pace.

Along the way, she saw other students from Verone all hanging out with one another, getting ice cream together. Yuka unconsciously hung her head down in both sadness and envy before she then heard the sound of laughter. Looking up, she saw Nagisa and Honoka with Shiho and Rika, all laughing with one another. Yuka couldn't help but notice…

'Everyone looks like they're having fun. I wish I could be free, like them.' Yuka then shook her head to get rid of the thought. 'No, I am the Madonna of Verone Academy, Odajima Yuka. I mustn't spoil that image.'

Resolved(or so she liked to tell herself), Yuka continued on her way, entering a neighborhood as a shortcut to get to her lessons. As she turned a corner and was minding her own business, a voice suddenly spoke up.

"Let me solve all your problems."

"Hm?" Turning, Yuka was met with what appeared to be a fortune teller who she was sure was not there a second ago.

"A fortune teller in a place like this?" As strange as it was, Yuka decided to ignore it and said, "Problems? I don't have any problems." And so she turned to leave but then the fortune teller spoke up again.

"Is that so? But, "I want to play around like normal girls" is written all over your face."

"Eh?" Yuka turned to the fortune teller in surprise. That had struck a little too close for home.

*Snap!*

With a snap of a finger, Yuka's vision blurred before she knew no more. On the outside, Yuka had lost all light in her eyes as if she was possessed. The fortune teller then snapped her fingers again before a great number of Zakenna came from her hand and all entered Yuka's shadow and before long, the shadow started to enlarge before taking form.

The fortune teller, who was none other than Poisony, smirked under her veil.

"This should be interesting, in more ways than one."

(With Nagisa and Honoka)

The sun was beginning to set over the horizon, casting the sky in the color of blazing orange as the park was filled with either friends or couples. Amongst them were Nagisa and Honoka, having just departed with Shiho and Rina for the day.

"Looks like today will end without any problems." Nagisa said in small relief. The day was coming to an end and there were no enemies from the Dark Zone or Grongi attacking the people of the city.

"Seems like it." Honoka agreeding with a smile, hoping that today would be just as peaceful.

The two would later come to know that they just jinxed it.

"Nagisa! Nagisa!" Suddenly, Mepple started shaking in his carrier to get the attention of his partner.

"Wh-What is it?" Nagisa said, surprised at Mepple sudden shaking. And they were still in the in the park with people around. "In a place like this…"

"I feel something bad in the air-mepo."

"I feel it too, like it's coming closer to us-mipo." Mipple said, agreeing with her boyfriend.

"Eh!?" Feeling as if they jinxed it, the girls started looking around for any abnormalities. But all they saw were a few couples here and there, a man walking his dog, a guy skating through the park, and Shirou running up to them—wait, what?

"Konbanwa(Good evening)!" Shirou shouted out, drawing a lot of attention to him as he ran over to the girls.

"M-Morimichi-san?" Both girls blinked in surprise at the man's sudden appearance as he came to a stop to them.

"What are you doing here?" Nagisa asked.

"I came here to see you because you two are in great danger!" Shirou said.

"Eh? Danger?"

Shirou nodded. "Last night, there was an accident at Investigation HQ. Apparently, someone stole the remains of Unidentified Lifeforms No. 4 has defeated and are planning to target you two."

"Eh? Stole? Who would…huh?" Honoka was about to ask who would steal the remains when she saw a familiar face. "Odajima-senpai?"

Indeed, it was Yuka with a dazed look on her face as her feet seemed to walk on their own.

"It's getting closer-mipo!" Mipple whispered to Honoka. She whispered because while she and Mepple trusted Ryō to speak out in the open, they did not trust Shirou. It didn't help that she felt that the man would blurt out their secrets for the entire city to hear.

"Closer…It couldn't be…" Past experiences were tickling Honoka's instincts as she went and called out to Yuka. "Odajima-senpai?"

But the girl did not respond as she simply walked past them.

"Well that was rather rude." Shirou commented.

"She totally hates me." Nagisa said, hanging her head down.

"I don't think that's it." Honoka said. "Isn't she acting strange?"

"Is she?" Nagisa looked up to where Yuka was walking.

"Is she someone you two know?" Shirou asked.

"She goes to the same school as us." Nagisa said.

"Then I shall go talk to her." Shirou declared. "If she's acting strange then it's better to find out why. Plus, it's rude not to respond to someone when they're talking to you." And that that, Shirou went after girl. Once he was gone did Mepple and Mipple start acting up again.

"I sense danger-mipo!"

"It's getting closer-mepo!"

"From where?" Nagisa asked.

"This way-mepo/mipo!" Both fairies said as they went…in opposite directions, nearly dragging their partners with them.

"Chotto(Wait a second)!" Nagisa said as she and Honoka held their fairy partners back when they saw that their partners were trying to take them in different directions.

"What do we do?" Honoka asked.

"We have to go one way so…" Nagisa began as she and Honoka decided on who they should follow.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" Nagisa chose paper, Honoka chose scissors.

"Alright, let's go!" Nagisa said as they went the direction Mipple chose, quickly moving out of the way of someone moving. "Excuse us—huh?"

"Odajima-senpai?" Honoka said as she and Nagisa blinked.

Indeed it was the same girl. Same uniform, same hair, same everything. It was definitely her. But…

"No way, didn't she go that way a second ago?" Both girls said at the same time as they watched Yuka walk away again.

"She totally hates me." Nagisa interpreted, hanging her head down again.

"Don't say that." Honoka said before, from the corner of her eyes, she saw an unbelievable sight. "Odajima-senpai?"

"Eh?" Looking up, Nagisa was met with a group of Yuka's, all marching like an army. "Sonna(No way)…"

"Arienai(I can't believe this)!" Both girls said, not knowing that Poisony was right behind them.

"Zakenna, play around all you want!" She said before snapping her fingers.

And so, chaos ensued. First it was a Yuka stealing the skateboard of a kid and rolling away past her clones.

"Give me back my skateboard!"

Next was a Yuka eating a tub of popcorn, bothering a couple at a bench before she rudely sat down next to them. Then came another, and another, and another until the couple started freaking out.

Then more Yuka's starting playing in the town fountain, moving around and splaying water everywhere.

Then came more Yuka's as they started singing while playing the traditional Japanese children's game known as Hanaichimonme.

Makete kuyashii hana ichi monme

"What is…" Nagisa began.

"…going on?" Honoka finished, both girls blinking in confusion.

"This must be the work of the Dark Zone-mepo!" Mepple said as he jumped out where Nagisa absent mindedly caught him, more focused on what was happening before her.

"It must be-mipo!" Mipple agreed with her boyfriend, jumping out too where Honoka absent mindedly caught her as well.

"…Honoka?"

"Hai(Yes)?"

"What is this feeling of shame in my chest?"

"I feel it too."

The feelings of shame didn't originate from how Yuka, a fellow student of Verone, was acting. It was not from them witnessing the Madonna of Verone Academy performing many embarrassing acts. No, the feeling originated from the scene before them. While their battles were just as life threatening as Dai's, they were reminded how their battles sometimes tended to be a bit…comical.

'Dai-kun has to deal with monsters who murder people for their dumb game. And we have to deal with this.' Nagisa thought as she mentally sighed. 'Arienai(I can't believe this)…'

"You seem to be enjoying the show I'm putting on." Looking up, the girls saw Poisony standing on top of a lamppost. The girls immediately put aside their feelings of shame as alert filled their bodies.

"It's you!" Nagisa exclaimed.

"What have you done to Odajima-senpai!?" Honoka exclaimed with a bit more anger. She still had a grudge against the Dark General for that one time with her grandmother. Nagisa even thought to herself in her mind that her friend was never going to live that down.

"The poor girl seemed stressed out so I cast a Zakenna into her shadow and had the Zakenna play around as much as it liked." Poisony said as she smirked down at girls.

Said girls looked at one another, nodding before they proceeded to slash their Queen cards and transform.

"Dual Aurora Wave!"

With light surrounding them and hands clasped, the girls announced as rainbows of light hid their form from view. But in an explosion of light later, taking their places were…

"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"

"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"

"Futari wa PreCure!"

"Yami no chikara no shimobetachi yo…"

"…Tottoto ouchi ni kaerinasai!"

"Whoa!" Both girls suddenly jumped in surprise before turning around to see none other than Shirou. "So this is Pretty Cure."

"Oh crap! We forgot about him!" Nagisa said, having forgotten that the probationary officer had run off to talk to one of many clones of Yuka.

"A human? Hmph, doesn't matter. Come and catch me, little girls!" Poisony said, disregarding Shirou as she jumped away with the clones of Yuka following her.

"Matte(Wait)!" Nagisa shouted as she and Honoka quickly ran after the Dark General on foot, leaving Shirou behind as they jumped up great heights to and from buildings. But as they were jumping roof to roof…

*BOOM!*

Suddenly, from a different section of the city, explosions occurred.

"What was that!?" Honoka exclaimed in surprise. Was the city under attack or something.

"What's wrong you two? You're lagging behind!" Poisony called out to them as she got farther away.

"Grr…!" Nagisa clenched her fists and gritted her teeth before coming to a difficult decision. "Forget about it, we have to go after her."

"But there could be injured people!"

"I know. But if we let that woman get away, who knows what'll happen to Yuka-senpai? I don't like it as much as you, but I'm sure Dai-kun saw that too and is one his way to deal with it."

"…You're right." Honoka said. "Let's go!"

"Right!" Nagisa said as the girls continued their chase after Poisony.

(Meanwhile, in the City)

Dai sped past many running civilians, riding on his Trychaser 2000 down the road. As he drove forward, people ran the other way as well as cars too, moving as fast as possible. A few seconds later, Dai skidded to a stop as he came upon the source of all this chaos.

As Hiroshi had said earlier, it was the Grongi's that Dai had defeated in the past.

"Zu-Gumun-Ba, Zu-Badzu-Ba, Me-Giiga-Gi, and Me-Badjitsu-Ba…" Dai identified the Grongi's before him though said Grongi's appeared…strange.

Their appearance wise was still the same but they were literally missing pieces of themselves. A missing arm there, a missing leg here, a chunk of the chest gone, and so on. But filling in those missing pieces were what appeared to be molds of darkness. The color and shade resembled whatever Zakenna were made out of…wait a minute.

Dai looked up at each of their foreheads and sure enough, there were big tick marks on them.

"Zakenna…Kuuga…Zakenna…Kuuga…" The Grongi's all muttered as they switched between the catchphrase of Zakenna calling out their names or speaking up about the Rider.

"The Zakenna…have fused with the remains of the Grongi." Dai concluded as he got off his bike. "That woman…so this is why she stole the remains. So she could fuse them with her Zakenna. She's brought them back to life!"

"Zakenna…Kuuga…KUUGA!" The Zakenna-Grongi's(he was going to call them that) all exclaimed the minute they all spotted Dai and began to charge towards him.

"Shit, here they come." Dai said as he quickly summoned his Arcle belt and performed the hand motions.

Seeing this, the revived Giiga placed a hand over its mouth and shot out its explosive ink towards Dai.

"Henshin!" Dai shouted as he spread his arms and seemingly took the explosive ink, said ink exploding upon contact with him. But this did nothing. Having seen the ink coming, Dai used the right mindset to call upon the needed form to counter the ink. Before the smoke could even clear, Dai jumped out of it, donned in his Titan form with his Titan Sword in hand, having used the Try-Acceler Rod from his bike to convert it into his weapon.

With a mighty battle cry, Dai descended down upon the resurrected Grongi group and swung his sword down. His sword came in contact with Giiga, stunned the Zakenna-Grongi from pain which gave Dai the chance to dash forward, slashing sideways as he was right behind the Squid Grongi, having slashed its stomach. Giiga held his stomach as he went to turn around to Dai but never got the chance. Flipping his sword around to wielding upside down, Dai stabbed the sword backwards and through the back of the Squid Grongi, executing the Titan Calamity. Giiga stood their stunned for a moment before he then exploded, said explosions sending his fellow Zakenna-Grongi flying back from the shockwave alone.

"One down…" Dai began as he turned around to face the remaining Zakenna-Grongi. "Three to go."

With beastly cries, the Zakenna-Grongi's all charged towards Dai. Flipping his sword to wielding it the right way, Dai got into a basic kendo stance and waited for the Grongi's to get closer.

The first to act was Badzu, leaping up high into the air before executing a flying kick towards Dai. The Rider in response raised his sword to guard and blocked the incoming kick, not even sliding back an inch as he pushed away the grasshopper Grongi. Dai then felt something on his left arm and looked down to see Gumun's webs with said Grongi trying to pull on him. It didn't work as Dai quickly wrapped his arms in webs before grabbing it and pulling with great strength, making Gumun fly over to him where Dai raised his sword and stabbed forward, the sword piercing straight through Gumon as the Grongi let out a strained cry before exploding.

'Two down!' Dai thought in his head as he went for his next target, Badjitsu.

The Rider had seen the Bee Grongi coming at him through the smoke of the explosion caused from the defeat of Gumon. Dai reacted quickly and swing his sword sideways but Badjitsu had suddenly jumped to dodge and used his wings to fly up. Dai was not about to let him do that.

"Chou Henshin!" Dai shouted before his form changed from purple to blue, assuming Kuuga's Dragon form as the Titan Sword was transformed into the Dragon Rod.

Now changed, Dai leaped up high, his form enhancing his jumping abilities as he leaped up higher before the Bee Grongi could fly up where he wouldn't be able to reach him. Despite all the remains that were stolen, only four Grongi were here attacking the people. This was obviously just a distraction and that the real threat was somewhere else. Knowing this, Dai couldn't afford to use Kuuga's Pegasus form for it would make him unable to transform for the next two hours and he couldn't afford that. Plus, there was not a gun in sight for him to use as the Pegasus Bowgun so there was that too. Which is why Dai had acted so quickly, not wanting the flying Grongi to get to a point where he couldn't reach him.

Now above the Bee Grongi, Dai swung his staff and struck Badjitsu across the head, practically bonking him as the Bee Grongi was sent crashing into the ground. The resurrected Grongi got up groggily before looking up. That was its first and last mistake as Dai, letting gravity drag him down, stabbed his Dragon Rod downward and struck Badjitsu across the chest and sending the Grongi down to the ground again. There the Zakenna-Grongi laid, rasing a hand to Dai in vain before he exploded from Dai's Dragon Splash attack.

"And then there was one." Dai said as he twirled his weapon around, tucking it under his armpit as he turned to Badzu.

Badzu, despite his fellow Zakenna-Grongi being defeated so easily which showed how much stronger Dai has become, did not back down and assumed a stance. But then his eyes landed smoke coming from a nearby burning building. The winds were blowing softly but just enough to send it his way. Despite being a Zakenna-Grongi, a resurrected Grongi with only half his mind restored, it stilled remembered the rules when it was his turn to play the Gegeru. He would grab unsuspecting people where the smoke from a factory doesn't point, leaping high enough so his victims can fall to their death. Whenever the smoke would point to him, it was time to change locations. With this being the only thing he knew, Badzu's body moved on its own and leaped away to change locations.

But Dai was not going to let him escape.

"You're not going anywhere!" Dai shouted as he leaped after Badzu, jumping farther and faster than the grasshopper Grongi as he easily reached the Zakenna-Grongi and thrusts his Dragon Rod forward, performing another Dragon Splash as the finisher struck Badzu across the back. As the mark sizzled on the Grongi's back, Dai used said back to quickly jump away before the Zakenna-Grongi exploded while Dai skidded across the ground and to a stop.

"And that takes care of that." Dai said before looking down at his hands, the one holding his Dragon Rod smoking from his finisher. He was honestly surprised at how quick and easy that was.

"Dai!" Hearing his name, the Rider turned to see Ryō and Hiroshi running towards him while other officers tended to the people.

"How are the people?" Dai immediately asked once the two adults reached him.

"There were some casualties but nothing to major that can't be fixed. And while there are some injured civilians, there are no confirmed deaths which is honestly surprising." Ryō said, voicing his surprise. There were four Grongi attacking the city. He had expected to see a bloodbath while he was driving down the street but it seems Dai had taken care of things before things got any worse.

"No doubt about it, these are the remains stolen from HQ, some of them at least." Hiroshi said, inspecting the remains of the defeated Grongi…again. Wow, that was a weird thought.

"Were there just four attacking the city?" Dai asked Hiroshi.

"I haven't gotten any other repots calling in so I'm guessing yes." Hiroshi said.

"That's what I was afraid of." Dai said as he threw away the Dragon Rod, transformed into his Mighty form, and ran towards his bike.

"What? What is it? What's wrong?" Hiroshi asked, confused as to why the Rider was so worked up.

"This was a distraction." Ryō spoke up, getting Hiroshi's attention. "These are the remains of four Unidentified Lifeforms. Dai has defeated 29 Unidentified Lifeforms."

Hiroshi eyes widen, realizing what Ryō was saying. "Where are the rest of the remains?"

"I have to find the girls." Dai said as he revved the Trychaser's engines. While he knew the girls were fully capable of fending for themselves, having trained them and all, that didn't stop him from worrying. What kind of friend wouldn't worry when another was in danger?

"We'll help too." Ryō said, taking out the keys to his car. "I'll let you know if or when I find them."

"Likewise." Dai said before he sped off.

"Hiroshi, I'm leaving you to clean this up." Ryō said before running.

"Leave it to me!" Hiroshi said before calling out to some men to bring him bags and gloves.

(Junkyard)

Nagisa and Honoka had been chasing Poisony for a while. It went on for a good hour until Poisony led them to a junkyard of all places.

"A junkyard?" Nagisa raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Why bring us here?" Honoka looked around, trying to figure out how a junkyard could give their enemy an advantage. Was she gonna start throwing cars at them?

…

…

…

Now that she thought about it, the idea itself was scary.

Suddenly, from on top of stacked cars came clones of Yuka, all appearing in multiple numbers. They then soon jumped off and surrounded the two Cures.

"She really, really hates me!" Nagisa exclaimed.

"I don't think that's the problem here." Honoka deadpanned to her friend.

A laugh filled with arrogance soon caught the girls' attention as they looked up to find Poisony standing on top of one of many stacked cars.

"What's so funny?" Nagisa shouted.

"What's funny is how you two foolishly followed me all the way here." Poisony said as she gestures to the area. "Not a lot of people come around here so don't expect help to come. And I wouldn't start attacking if I were you."

"And why's that?" Honoka couldn't help but ask, knowing that the woman was up to something.

"Because among these fakes is the real Odajima Yuka. You wouldn't want to hurt to real one, right? That would be bad, wouldn't it?"

"Sonna(No way)…" Nagisa said as she and Honoka looked amongst the fake Yuka's.

"The real Odajima-senpai is…" Honoka muttered as she scanned the Yuka's for any sign of the real one anywhere. But it was impossible to tell the difference, each one was a perfect copy of the other.

"If you hand over the Prism Stones without a fuss, I'll give Odajima Yuka back to you." Poisony offered. "If not, then I promise you that things will get a lot worse for you."

"Don't do it-mepo/mipo!" Both Mepple and Mipple exclaimed form their carriers.

"The answer's obvious." Nagisa said as she and Honoka exchanged looks before turning to Poisony.

"We'll never give the Prism Stones to you!" Honoka declared, pointing dramatically at Poisony.

"I thought you'd say that." Poisony said as she held up her fingers, ready to snap them. "Well, as promised, I will make things much worse for you."

*Snap!*

*ZOOM!*

*POW!*

"Kya!" Honoka cried out when suddenly, a black blur zoomed past her, striking her across the chest and sending her flying back, crashing against a car.

"White-Gah!" Black cried out in worry for her friend when the same black blur sped past her and struck her across the chest, sending her flying just like Honoka as Nagisa was sent skidding across the ground.

"What…What was that?" Nagisa, shaking her head, looked up to see what had attacked her and her partner when the black blur came to a stop in front of the Yuka clones. "You!"

Honoka too recognized who was standing before them but didn't know its name. So she instead used the title the police had comes up with.

"Unidentified Lifeoform No. 5!"

Indeed, it was Unidentified Lifeform No. 5 aka Zu-Mebio-Da, the Leopard Grongi. The cloths, the armor, the head of a humanoid leopard, everything was there. Yet at the same time, part of her was missing. But filling in those missing parts are the substance that made up Zakenna as on top of her forehead was a great big tick mark seen on Zakenna.

"Zakenna…Kuuga…"

Then, suddenly, from the shadows of the junkyard came more Grongi. But these were not just any Grongi. It was all the Grongi's that Dai had defeated in the past, minus Me-Ginoga-De since Dai had specifically told the Investigation team to burn and destroy all remains of the Mushroom Grongi.

"These Grongi's…" Honoka began as she looked at each Grongi that showed up, noticing that, like Mebio, they were all literally missing pieces of themselves as said missing spots were replaced by Zakenna parts as they all bore a tick mark on their forehead.

"These are the Grongi that Dai-kun defeated." Nagisa said as she and Honoka quickly took battle stances. "But why are they here? Dai-kun destroyed all of them!"

"It's thanks to me." Poisony said, getting the girl's attention. "Using the powers of Zakenna, I brought these retched beings back from the dead." Poisony then laughed to herself. "I must say, while I knew how flexible the Zakenna are, it never crossed my mind to fuse the Zakenna with the remains of Grongi." She'll have to give it to Daguva, despite the guy being creepy as hell, not only is he strong but he was incredibly smart.

A bead of sweat ran down Nagisa's cheek as she eyed all the Zakenna-Grongi(she was going to call them that) with caution as Honoka did the same. While the two Cures had fought Grongi's before, it was never at this number. Plus, unlike Dai, they didn't know what most of them were capable of as they lacked Dai's knowledge which had always given him and the Investigation team an advantage. Add in the fact that their fighting experience against Grongi was minimal when thinking about it, the whole situation was not at all good. But even still…

"Just because you have a couple of Grongi's with you doesn't scare us!" Nagisa declared as she charged towards the nearest Zakenna-Grongi to her, Zu-Nezuma-Da.

Zu-Nezuma-Da aka Unidentified Lifeform No. 10A, the Rat Grongi. His body was covered in gray fur wore cloth around his arms, legs, and lower body. If there was one thing that was disturbing to look at, it was the Grongi's head for it resembled a rat's head.

The case involving the Rat Grongi was that there had been a mysterious case of dead bodies being found in the underground city sewers. Whenever people got near manholes, the Grongi would suddenly pop up and drag them down to the sewer where he would then kill them and leave the dead body to rot. In short, the Grongi had taken over the city sewer systems. From what Dai told them, it wasn't a pretty case as he commented how much more worse the sewers smelled when the stench of rotting corpses mixed in with the foul stench of sewer waste. The case had gone on for a few days at most for it was later found that the Rat Grongi was not working alone. It had a twin brother by the name of Zu-Nezumo-Da. Thus when labeling the Grongi, Nezuma was labeled No. 10A and Nezumo was labeled No. 10B. Dai personally dealt with Nezumo while Nezuma, being chased up to the surface by Ryō and the police officers at the time, managed to critically injure it by luring it to a police car where the hood of the engine was wide open. One of the officers fired at the engine and set off a reaction, catching the Grongi in an explosion. Yet despite being injured, Nezuma managed to escape by taking human form and blending in with the people. As a wide spread investigation was held, there was a mysterious explosion which drew everyone's attention. By the time policemen got there, they had found Nezuma dead with only his remains left. It was a case that left many questioning what had happened.

As Nagisa neared closer to the at Grongi, one of them at least as she saw Honoka attacking the other one, Nezumo, a clone of Yuka suddenly stepped in front of the Rat Grongi's, forcing Nagisa and Honoka to come to a sudden stop. The clones were then pushed aside by Nezuma and Nezumo before they punched the girls across the face, sending them skidding back as they held spot they were punched.

"Ah, ah! Careful now or you might hurt your precious friend." Poisony said, wagging a finger at them.

"Why you—!" Nagisa gritted her teeth as she glared over at Poisony.

"That's fighting dirty!" Honoka exclaimed, also throwing a glare at the woman.

"It's called fighting smart." Poisony said, unaffected by their glares as she snapped her fingers again. "Zakenna! Kill them and retrieve the Prism Stones!"

"Zakenna!" All the Zakenna-Grongi cried out before they all attacked the girls.

Honoka, as she was getting back up, looked up to see Zu-Gujiru-Gi, the Whale Grongi attacking her.

Gujiru aka Unidentified Lifeform No. 7 was bigger than most Grongi. Standing at an intimidating height of 7'0, the Grongi stood out even amongst his own kind. His skin was charcoal black except for his chest and stomach which was a smooth gray color and with the differences of color, his muscles really stood out. With cloth bandaged around like short pants and more wrapped around his arms, he also had an armored collar around his neck. His head was that of a whale and it appeared he had no neck when in fact, his neck and head were still there just that the width made it appear the there was no neck.

Gujiru's case had showed up right after the jumping incidents involving Badzu. Before the Rat Grongi brothers had taken over the sewers, Gujiru was the first to think of taking the sewer systems first. With the ability to spout out extremely high pressurized water strong enough to cut through cars, buildings, and people alike, Gujiru had waited for passing vehicles to drive over manholes before unleashing his water from his blowhole, blasting the covering of manholes up and through cars as they were either sliced through and were violently flipped around, causing multiple accidents on the streets. The police had tried getting into the sewers through different entrances but Gujiru had shown that he could switch between focused blast so that his water could cut and pierce through things, or he could spout out his water in great waves, metaphorically flushing out any who dared to come into the sewers to stop him. And while there were more injured than there were dead, that didn't make the Whale Grongi any less dangerous. While trying to come up with a plan as to how they could draw Gujiru out of the sewers, Dai had noticed something about Gujiru's abilities.

'This guy can shoot high pressurized water but the amount of water inside of him is limited.' Honoka thought as she dodged a punch from the big Grongi, remembering what Dai had told her and Nagisa. 'He has a limited amount of water inside of him and if he wants to shoot more, he needs to get more water from someplace else.'

That's what Dai had noticed. There was always a 10 minute gap between each time Gujiru attacked, despite said attacks being random at times. Using that knowledge, the police came up with a plan. A team would go in and force Gujiru to exhaust all of his water before Dai rushed in take care of the Grongi before he could recharge. But he later found out that it wasn't a simple matter of recharging. The reason Gujiru had taken over the sewer systems was to use its water supply. It didn't matter if the water was contaminated or not, the Grongi would take five minutes to gather more water into him before pressurizing it inside of him which takes another five minutes which explains the ten minute gap. It was a hard fight as Gujiru's size had surprised Dai but he managed to drag the Grongi outside before finishing him off.

Honoka jumped out of the way as Gujiru punched the spot she was at seconds ago, flipping around until her feet touched the side of stacked cars. Pushing off to leap forward, she flipped over to send out a flying kick towards the Whale Grongi when a clone of Yuka jumped right in front of it. Surprised, she tried to stop herself but that left her open as Gujiru had grabbed her in midair before throwing her toward another stack of cars where said stack crumble and fell down. Lucky for Honoka, none of the cars landed on her but that didn't mean her back still didn't hurt.

"Hey! Let me go!" Nagisa said as two Yuka clones grabbed onto Nagisa, preventing her from moving before another Grongi moved into literally bite her. Nagisa was lucky enough to still have her hands free as she quickly grabbed the head of the Grongi attempting to bite her while also trying to keep her head as far as possible for in her option, the Grongi attacking her was the ugliest to look at.

Said Zakenna-Grongi was Me-Ibae-Ba aka Unidentified Lifeform No. 17. Its body was that of a man with cloth wrapped around his lower regions, ankles, and wrists. The rest of the body, while toned with muscles, was rather hairy to the point that it just looked disgusting. But the main reason why Nagisa thought the Grongi as ugly was because its head resembled that of a Fly; eyes, mouth, antenna, and all. And as a normal girl, one does not like to see a fly's face up close unless they were studying about them, which she wasn't going to do anytime soon.

The case revolving around the Fly Grongi was rather grotesque in Dai's option. Being a fly, Ibae was able to fly in their air but what set him apart from the likes of Badjitsu was his method of killing. Using the antenna on its head, Ibae communicated with millions of flies and commanded them to attack the people. At first, it was barely noticeable but by the second day, bodies started showing up on streets and in homes too with multiple holes caused from biting found all over the victims' bodies. When Mizore had went to do an autopsy of a victim's body, the second she made a cut on the body, flies started pouring out and attacking everyone in the room though were quickly saved by Ryō using a fire extinguisher. Continuing from where she left off, the reason flies had come from within the dead body was because the flies that had killed it were not done eating. Mizore had commented how a few doctors ran out to puke out their lunch, not that she blamed them. She was pretty disgusted herself. Sickened by this, Dai and Ryō were determined to put a stop to them for even if the people were to lock themselves inside their houses; it was a common fact that insects always had some way to get into a house to the displeasure of many. With the assist of Sayuru who had developed a vial that let out a scent that flies naturally hate in the form of smoke, Ryō and other men of the Investigation team worked together to plant these smoke bombs around the city in order to draw Ibae and his flies to one area where Dai then proceeded to finish him, assuming Pegasus form to shoot down the fly Grongi.

"Get away from me!" Nagisa exclaimed as she let go of one hand in order to punch Ibae right in the eye, making the Zakenna-Grongi stumble back while holding its eye in pain. Nagisa then pushed the two Yuka clones off of her, being physically stronger than them, before rushing forward to hit Ibae again when she was suddenly tackled to the ground.

Hitting the ground hard, a pair of hands soon wrapped around Nagisa's neck and proceeded to choke her. Gabbing the arms of the Grongi choking her, which was Mebio by the way, Nagisa gagged as she struggled to breath in air.

"Black!" Seeing her friend in trouble, Honoka went to help but was stopped by more Yuka clones.

"Nagisa, hang in there-mepo!" Mepple cried out as he tried to encourage Nagisa to hang on.

"It seems this is the end for Pretty Cure!" Poisony declared before laughing evilly.

'Shit! I'm…losing air fast! Head getting…dizzy…' Nagisa vision swam as she was losing more and more air. 'Come on, Nagisa…think!' What could Nagisa do in this situation? Mebio had her neck in her hands, Nagisa was losing strength due to lack of oxygen, and Honoka was being stopped by Yuka clones and other Grongi's. What can she do?

Surprisingly, Nagisa found her answer when she looked past Mebio and gazed into the sky. That's when Nagisa had an idea that might just save her. But she had to act quickly or else she would literally be done for!

While struggling against Mebio's strength, Nagisa opened her mouth and muttered two saving words.

"black…thunder…!"

*BOOM!*

And that's when it happened. A flash of black colored thunder shot down from the sky and towards Nagisa. But since Mebio was right on top of the girl, the bolt ended up hitting her, shocking her as Mebio let out a scream of absolute pain, her voice crossing over with a Zakenna's voice before right before everyone's eye's, the Zakenna-Grongi exploded.

"Nani!?" Poisony exclaimed in surprise.

"Black!" Honoka cried out in worry for her friend who had gotten caught up in the explosion. Her worries were soon put to rest when from the some came the small star beings that made up a defeated Zakenna before the smoke cleared and a coughing Nagisa was seen.

"Cough, cough, cough! Ugh, gross!" Nagisa said as she brushed away the remains of Mebio before slowly getting back up while holding her neck. Being choked to death, Nagisa hoped that she would not have to experience that ever again.

"Hmph! So you managed to escape the death. But that does little to change your situation." Poisony said. "Just give up."

"We'll never give up!" Honoka shouted to the Dark General while trying to think of a way to turn this situation around.

'Think, Honoka! There must be a way to run this around!' Honoka thought to herself when she remembered something Poisony had said earlier. 'She casted a Zakenna into Odajima-senpai's shadow…the clones of her must be shadows of her! Which means we need to—!'

"Everybody freeze!" Honoka's thoughts were interrupted by a sudden, familiar voice. Turning, every saw at the junkyard entrance was none other than…

"Morimichi-san!?" Both girls exclaimed in surprise. Just how much was this guy going to show up today?

Shirou took deep breaths, a sign that told everyone that the man had run all the way here, meaning he had followed them and finally caught up to them despite the fact that they were all faster than him. Everyone had to admit, the man was determined.

"Everyone…put your hands…in the air!" Shirou breathed out between huffs before looking up and looked in surprise at the Zakenna-Grongi. "E-Eh!? Unidentified Lifeforms!?"

"Morimich-san! You have to run away from here!" Honoka told the man. "It's too dangerous here!"

Getting over his surprise rather quickly, Shirou responded, "No! I will not run away!"

"Eh!? Nande(Why)!?"

"Because I am a policeman, an adult who has sworn to protect the people of this city!" Shirou said with burning passion. One could have sworn there were flames in his eyes. "How can I run away when you two are trying your hardest to protect the people in your own way!? I may not be able to do much compared to you two but I can still help in my own way!"

"Morimichi-san…" The girls would admit, the man's words had touched their hearts.

"That was a moving speech, but what you possibly do, a normal human?" Poisony said as some of the Zakenna-Grongi turned to the man.

Shirou would admit, he was scared of the Grongi. But had had made an oath when he had become a policeman, to protect the peace! And he was not about to go back on those words. And just when he was about to reach for his gun…

"Morimichi-san!" Honoka called out to the man while pointing to the garage that the workers of the junkyard would work at. "I need you to run over there and turn on the lights of this place! A Zakenna, a monster was casted into Odajima-senpai's shadow which is making all these copies. If you can turn the lights on—!"

Shirou quickly figured out what Honoka was telling him. "Makase nasai(Leave it to me)! Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh~!" And so Shirou took off running towards the garage.

"As if I let you!" Poisony said before snapping her fingers, ordering some Zakenna-Grongi catch him. They all jumped towards him with the intent to grab and restrain him but everyone was surprised at how fast Shirou was as he dodged and ran past the Zakenna-Grongi's thrown his way.

"What are you doing, you idiots!? How hard is it to catch one human!?" Poisony exclaimed angrily.

"Don't underestimate me! I was the star ace of my track team!" Shirou shouted as he reached the garage. Luckily the garage door was left open so he simply ran inside and took a quick look around until he spotted a switch on the wall. Following his gut feeling, he went over to it and wasted no time flipping it. And when he did, the lights of the junkyard all lit up, casting light everywhere.

Running outside, Shirou saw that as the light touched the many clones of Yuka, they all vanished as if they were never there, all except for one.

"That's the real one!" Shirou declared, pointing over to Yuka.

"Yosh(Alright)!" Nagisa said before she went over to the girl, grabbed her, and did not hesitate to throw her over to Shirou.

"Eh?" Shirou could only blink in surprise when Nagisa had thrown Yuka over to him before said girl collided against his chest, throwing him down to the ground hard.

"You could've been a bit more gentle when throwing her?" Honoka threw a look at her friend.

"Ehehehe, gomen(sorry)." Nagisa rubbed the back of her head as she laughed awkwardly before shouting over to Shirou. "Morimichi-san! Look after Yuka-senpai!"

The only response she got was a shaking arm holding a thumbs up.

"Yosh(Alright)! Now we can fight without worry!" Nagisa said as she and Honoka regrouped, standing back to back against each other.

"Tch! So what if you got rid of one of my pawns? I've still got more ready to kill you two!" Poisony said as she snapped her fingers, ordering the Zakenna-Grongi to attack. "Get them!"

"Don't underestimate us!" Nagisa said as she and Honoka leaped into action.

A Zakenna-Grongi that was once Me-Gyarido-Gi attacked Nagisa, throwing his chain at her in order to restrain her, but Nagisa had caught the thrown chain and pulled the crab Grongi towards her before she spun around and delivered a kick to his chest, sending his flying back. From behind Nagisa came Me-Biran-Gi, attacking with his arm blades as he used his speed to close in on her. But Nagisa had heard him coming and quickly jumped while still holding onto Gyarido's chain as Biran ran right into it, ensnarling himself as Nagisa landed right behind him and kicked his back, sending him forward right into another attacking Zakenna-Grongi. Suddenly, Nezuma appeared again from behind and wrapped his arms around her, restraining her but Nagisa was having none of that. She jumped and headbutted him right under his chin, making the Zakenna-Grongi let go as it held its chin on reflex and releasing Nagisa as a result. Angry, the Zakenna-Grongi went to tackle Nagisa but the girl had dropped down to the ground and pulled her knees to her chin as Nezuma had landed right on her feet. Nagisa then pushed upward with her feet, sending the Zakenna-Grong into the air as Nagisa soon shouted.

"Black Thunder!"

*BOOM!*

Down came another bolt of black thunder as it struck Nezuma before the Zakenna-Grongi exploded, the remains that used to be a part of the Grongi falling to the ground while the Zakenna stars all ran away muttering apologies.

With Honoka, Gujiru was back to attacking her but the girl was faster than it as she successfully dodged all the punches thrown at her. Gujiru was big and strong but he was slow and Honoka took advantage of that. Remembering back to Dai's training; Honoka moved in and spun around a punch thrown at her before she was right behind the Whale Grongi. Kicking backwards, Honoka kicked the back of the Grongi's leg, more precisely where the ligament would be, forcing the Zakenna-Grongi down to one knee before Honka jumped up again and kicked the side of Gujuri's head, more specifically the temple. She didn't knock out the Zakenna-Grongi but she did stun him with that kick. That's when Nezumo, Nezuma's brother, appeared from behind her to attack her back but Honoka had heard him a mile away and jumped to dodge the Grongi's grabs, stepping on his back in the process and sending him down to the ground. Growling while getting up, Nezumo was unprepared when Honoka had rushed up to him and kicked him right under his chin, sending him into the air before Honoka then did the trick Nagisa had done.

"White Thunder!"

*BOOM!*

There was a flash in the sky before a pure white thunderbolt rained down and went towards Honoka but instead struck Nezumo in the air. The Grongi screamed in pain before he exploded with his remains scattering and what was left of the Zakenna running away.

"White!" Honoka turned to see Nagisa run up to her, sticking out one of her hands to her. "Let's do it!"

Honoka nodded and the two grasped hands before they raised their other one to the skies.

"Black Thunder!"

"White Thunder!"

*BOOM!*

From the skies, a pair of thunderbolts colored white and black rained down and struck the girls, surrounding them in power.

"Stop them!" Poisony ordered the Zakenna-Grongi as she snapped her fingers to convey her orders.

They did as told and all the Zakenna-Grongi rushed towards them but the girls didn't seem the least bit worried. And the reason being when two Grongi's made it to them and swung their fists at them, the two girls ducked under them, dodging the fists before they both took a Grongi for their own and punched them right in the face.

*BOOM!*

With sounds akin to thunderclaps, black and white colored lightning shot out from their hands and obliterated the heads of the Grongi's they punched. Two more Grongi came in but the girls were ready for them as they spun around and kicked their chest.

*BOOM!*

And with another thunderclap, black and white thunderbolts were shot out from their feet and through the Grongi's , tearing straight through them and severing their upper bodies from their lower bodies. At this point, the Zakenna-Grongi chose to stay away from the girls as the girls themselves blinked at what they just did.

"Holy…" Nagisa said as she looked at what she did. Unlike before when the black and white thunderbolts struck the Grongi's, the one she and Honoka had hit was undergoing the same process but rather slowly, making what they did look rather…gory.

"I'm starting to think Ichi-kun trained us too well." Honoka commented, also stunned at what she had done.

"This…This is impossible!" Poisony exclaimed. "They are Grongi! Murderous, fighting machines! They shouldn't be losing to these brats."

"Serves you right." Shirou, who had currently restrained Yuka with a pair of handcuff to make sure she didn't move, spoke up, getting Poisony's attention. "That's what you get for underestimating humans!"

"Quiet, you!" Mad as ever, Poisony snapped her fingers and ordered Ibae to attack him.

"Morimichi-san!" Honoka cried oout in worry as the man quickly went to draw his gun.

*BANG-BANG-BANG-BANG!*

Guns were fired and bullet flew, but they did not come from Shirou's gun. As the bullets tore through Ibae's fly wings thus sending him crashing to the ground, everyone turned to see at the entrance of the junkyard a gathering of police cars and vans. And standing right at the entrance was a group of men and Rai, all with their guns smoking.

"I should have you punished for acting so recklessly!" Rai spoke up, his attention directed to Shirou. "But you did a good job, rookie."

"Kuzaragi-san!" Shirou exclaimed in surprise.

"The Investigation team!" The girls smiled; glad to see the group of adults.

"Alright men! Let's back them up!" Rai shouted as loaded his gun and he along with his men all fired their guns at the Grongi and their bullets seemingly affect them enough that the Zakenna-Grongi had to raise their hands to defend.

"Heh, these new bullets made by the doc seem to be working." Rai said before he and a few other men rushed into the junkyard.

The girls themselves took a step back, wanting to see what the Investigation team would do while also deciding to jump in if things got out of hand. But to their surprise, they seemed to be doing fine. While it didn't seem like they were doing any noteworthy damage, the men had lead all the Zakenna-Grongi to a single spot.

"Alright, that should do it." Rai said before shouting over to the girls. "It's your time to shine, you two!"

"Eh?" The girls blinked in confusion before they realized why the men had led the Zakenna-Grongi to a single spot.

"Let's blast them away!" Nagisa said, holding a hand out to Honoka.

The girl nodded before she claps hands with Nagisa and proceeded to call upon thunder.

"Black Thunder!"

"White Thunder!"

*BOOM!*

As it's been done many times before, black and white thunderbolts rain down from the sky and struck the girls, surrounding them with power. All the men watched in awe at them while Poisony was the only one gritting her teeth at them.

"Purikyua no utsukushiki tamashī ga…"

"…Jaaku na kokoro wo uchikudaku!"

Sticking their hands out with great effort, the girls announced their attack for all to see.

"Pretty Cure Marble Screw!"

And so the attack flew, black and white thunder swirling around one another. As the attack flew, all the men quickly scattered as to not get caught up while the Zakenna-Grongi could only stare and watch in surprise at the incoming attack before it was too late.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

"There was a massive explosion of light that even surprised the girls. From within that light, the Zakenna spirits all separated from the Grongi remains before they exploded into stars, greatly confusing the men.

"What in the world?" Shirou muttered.

"Yare, yare(Good grief). This is gonna take some time getting used to." Rai commented before looking around to find Poisony but she was nowhere to be seen. "Tch, must have left during the light show." He had been hoping to catch her so he and others could interrogate her. It seems they'll have to wait for another chance.

"I suddenly feel…weak…" Nagisa muttered as she and Honoka dropped to their knees, exhausted.

"So…tired…" Honoka said between breaths.

"Calling upon the Black and White Thunders takes energy-mepo." Mepple said. "You can't just call upon them all willy-nilly like that-mepo."

"Oh now you tell us that!?" Nagisa exclaimed.

Soon, more police cars showed up at the scene and amongst them was Dai, parking his bike and throwing aside his helmet before running over to them.

"Nagisa-chan! Honoka-chan! Daijōbu ka(Are you alright)!?" Dai said once he reached their sides.

"We're fine, just a bit tired is all." Honoka assured the Rider.

He sighed in relief. "Yokatta(Thank goodness)! I was so worried about you two! There was this incident at the Investigation HQ and the remains of Grongi I had defeated were stolen and Gouram showed me this vision about what had happened and…!"

The girls simply sat there and listened to what their friend had to say while the men made sure to recollect the Grongi remains while other's checked up on Shirou and Yuka. And so ended another day.

(The Next Day)

"Yuka-senpai, ohayōgozaimasu(good morning)!"

"Ohayōgozaimasu!"

"Ohayō(Good Morning)." Yuka responded back as she walked to school.

It was another day at Verone Academy and Nagisa and Honoka…were still tired.

"So…tired…" Nagisa muttered as she tried to make sure she didn't look tired. She didn't need people asking questions.

"Let's make a mental note to watch how we use the Black and White Thunder." Honoka said as she did just that in her mind.

"Are you sure you two are going to be okay?" Dai asked, checking up on the girls before heading to the boy's division of the school.

"We'll be fine, don't worry." Honoka assured the Rider.

"Yes, do not worry for I shall look after them." Shirou said.

"That's good to hear. I'm counting on—what, what!?"

All heads turned towards Shirou in surprise.

"What are you doing here!?" Nagisa asked.

"Like I said, I'm here to look after you two." Shirou said, talking about Nagisa and Honoka.

"What do you mean by that?" Honoka asked, confused.

"You mean you haven't been told?" Shirou asked.

"Told what?" Dai asked.

"You mean Officer Ryō hasn't told you either?" Shirou said, surprised. "Everyone in the Investigation Team has been informed of the girls' existence as Pretty Cure. While half of the men are focused on dealing with the threats of the Unidentified Lifeforms, the other half is focused on keeping the existence of the girls' identity as Pretty Cure hidden from the public while also helping them in their battles."

Why…did that take so goddamn LONG!? I know I love writing this story and all but this is extreme! 20k+ words? I mean, the last chapter was the same but to do it again is like…INSANE! Damn, I wonder if this is the result of being away for so long? Hopefully things don't get out of hand in the future. I think I placed more emphasis on the girls this chapter but I'm sure that won't be a problem. Gotta shift the spot light from time to time and there's a reason why these girls have so many fans. Because they kick butt!

Pretty Cure: Rider Fun Facts

"We're…finally…back-mepo!" Mepple exclaimed loudly as he and the others stepped on stage.

"Hello minna-san and welcome back for another Pretty Cure: Rider Fun Facts-mipo!" Mipple announced.

"Man, what the heck was the author doing? This took so long to do?" Nagisa said.

"Now, now, he's probably got a lot of things going on in his life right now. He can't help it." Honoka insisted. "So, what are we talking about today?"

"We're going to be talking about the new type of enemy the author has thought up-mepo!" Mepple said as on the screen showed the Zakenna-Grongi form of Gumun. "Today, we'll be talking about the newly formed Zakenna-Grongi-mepo!"

"Are we really calling them that?" Nagisa asked. "Couldn't the author come up with a better name for them instead of just putting their names together?"

"Can you come up with a clever name for them-mepo?"

"…Touché." Nagisa said after a moment of thinking.

"So what separates these enemies from the likes of regular Zakenna and Grongi?" Honoka asked.

"What sets them apart is that they are both a Grongi and a Zakenna yet at the same time they are not-mipo." Mipple explained. "To explain, while they are Grongi, they are just remains of what the Grongi used to be and the only thing keeping them together is the Zakenna-mipo."

"You can say their resurrected Grongi but they haven't been fully revived-mepo." Mepple said. "It's not easy to bring life back from the dead. When a Zakenna takes over the remains of a Grongi, they take that Grongi's form or what it used to be but their mind is only half of what the Grongi used to be-mepo."

"They still know who they are and what they can do but that's about it for their mentality-mipo." Mippel said. "The rest is filled for orders taken from the Dark Generals-mipo."

"Basically, their minds are broken from an incomplete resurrection-mepo." Mepple said. "Now normally, you two would have a hard time against one Grongi, but not against these guys-mepo."

"So what, are they weaker or something?" Nagisa asked.

"That's right-mepo." Mepple said. "You see, what these Zakenna-Grongi lack is the killing intent regular Grongi have. They're nothing more than just puppets for the Dark Zone. You can say they're like zombies even-mepo."

"Not to mention the Zakenna is what's keeping them together-mipo." Mipple said. "Because they are now part Zakenna, your attacks such as the Marble Screw are much more effective against them now-mipo."

"I guess that explains why a lot of them kicked the bucket from just a blast of either Black or White Thunder." Nagusa mused.

"Though don't underestimate them just because they're partially dumb-mepo." Mepple said. "Put them in front of Kuuga, the guy that killed them, and they reawaken some of their killer instincts albeit a small portion-mepo. When that happens, expect them to more on the attack instead of just waiting for orders-mepo."

"We'll keep that in mind." Honoka said.

"Anyway, that's all the time we have for today-mepo." Mepple as he turned to the audience. "Sorry again for how long this chapter took but the author guy has a life too. He gets busy sometimes. We hope you all enjoyed today's chapter and we'll see you all next chapter! Bye-mepo!"

And with that, the four of them waved as the next title for the next chapter showed up.
