But today, hold onto your seats because what I have in store for you people will knock some socks off. It's time for the gang to face their toughest challenge yet. So let's ride! Chou Henshin!

Ride 18: Too Scary! The Final Boss Already!? Dark Zone's Final Trump Card!

(One Year Ago)

"Daijōbu ka(Are you okay), Misumi-chan?"

Nagisa could only look at Dai in disbelief. The honking of car horns blared out as the source, a nice looking 2001 BMW car, was smashed into a pole. The crash had knocked down said pole, blocking the road and causing other cars to stop lest they crash as well. People were already on their phones, dialing for help. Nagisa paid no mind as all her attention was on the boy looming over her as a trail of blood ran down his face, yet the boy didn't seem to notice it one bit.

"Am I okay?" Nagisa repeated as she slowly got up and looked in disbelief at her savior. "Am I okay!? I should be the one asking you that! You're bleeding!"

"I am?" Dai blinked before he finally noticed the blood on him. "This? It's nothing."

"Your head hit the side of that car!"

"I'm fine, just a bit dizzy."

"I seriously doubt that." Nagisa said as she grabbed the boy's head and turned it over to see if there were any other injuries.

"Misumi-chan, I'm fine, honest."

"I don't believe you. You got hurt because of me. How are you so nonchalant about this?"

"I saved you, didn't I?" Dai said before smiling. "So it's fine. As long as you're safe, I don't mind getting hurt."

Nagisa looked at the boy in disbelief again, shocked at what he just said. She found herself blushing as she finally let go of his head.

"Baka(Idiot). The last thing I want is you getting hurt because of me." Nagisa said before she turned her head at the sound of incoming sirens. A few police cars pulled over followed by an ambulance. Seeing the latter vehicle, Nagisa got up and dragged Dai up by the arm.

"Come on, we need to get you patched up."

"It's not that bad."

"I don't believe you." Nagisa said as she dragged Dai over to the ambulance. "Also..."

"Hm?"

"...Stop calling me by my last name." Nagisa turned to Dai with a small blush adorning her cheeks. "Just call me Nagisa. We're friends, aren't we?"

Dai blinked at Nagisa in surprise before he smiled brightly. "Hai(Yes), Nagisa-chan."

(One Year Later)

"So, you use this equation..." Honoka said as she finished the problem on her notebook before presenting it to Nagisa. "And that's it. Simple, don't you think?"

"A bit, yeah." Nagisa said as she did the problem on her own notebook. After doing it, she showed it to Honoka and asked, "Is this right?"

"Yep!" Honoka nodded, feeling a bit proud that Nagisa managed to get the question right before giving her another problem. "Now try this and apply it to your homework."

"Ugh, all those numbers are giving me a headache." Nagisa groaned as she looked at the complex(to her) problems before her. Nonetheless, she gritted her teeth and worked through the math problems the best that she could.

"Nagisa~!" Mepple's voice cried out from Nagisa's pocket, making said girl jump up before slapping down on her pocket in a panic.

"Oi! Quiet you!" Nagisa said before looking around the cafe area she and Honoka were waiting at to make sure no one had heard the fairy in her pocket. Lucky for her, it was just her and her friend. After making sure the coast was clear did Nagisa finally take out the fairy.

"I thought I told you to keep quiet until Dai-kun was done with his check up?"

"But I'm hungry-mepo! I'm so hungry that I might die-mepo!"

"Oh don't be so dramatic. In case you haven't noticed, I'm working on my homework right now."

But as if Nagisa's words flew right over Mepple's head, "It's snack time-mepo. I want a soft-serve ice cream since it's so hot today. As well as a chocolate parfait and a strawberry sundae-mepo!"

'This glutton...!' Nagisa thought in annoyance, but knew that if she didn't comply to Mepple's request he would never shut up. So she took out the necessary card and swiped it, causing the usual bubble to float up from Mepple's form where inside was said fairy and his and Mipple's personal chef.

"I'm here to serve, Mepple-sama. Here are the sweets you have requested for."

"After you're done eating, please be quiet, okay?" Nagisa asked her fairy partner.

"Yeah, sure, whatever-mepo." But he was only half listening as he gave a quick thanks before digging in.

"Mmm..."

"Ah, please share some with Mipple." Honoka said, noticing that her fairy partner was looking at the sweets Mepple was having.

But by the time Honoka finished speaking, Mepple was already done with his ice cream at record time. It was a miracle that he somehow didn't get a brain freeze from how fast he ate.

Realizing that he had finished everything and registering what Honoka had asked, Mepple quickly turned around to his lover and apologized.

"Ah, sorry. You can have the next serving-mepo." He said like there wasn't a problem.

"Hmph!" With a mad huff, Mipple turned her head away and hid herself away.

Not in the least bothered by Mipple's attitude, Mepple shrugged and turned back. "Well, more for me-mepo!"

"That's enough!" Annoyed at her fairy partner, she grabbed her pencil and used it to pop the bubble, bringing Mepple back to reality.

"Hey! What was that-!?" Nagisa closed the phone-like item that was Mepple and stuffed him into her school bag.

"Alright, back to work." Nagisa said, ignoring Mepple's muffled cries in her school bag.

Honoka simply giggled at what had just happened before nodding and getting back to Nagisa's homework as well as her own. But before she could look down at the papers on the table, she saw from the corner of her eye the person she and Nagisa had been waiting for.

"Ah, looks like he's done." Honoka informed Nagisa, getting her to turn around to see Dai walking over to them with someone they didn't know, but Dai did.

"So your daughter's okay?"

"Yes, she's fine. It was just a small accident and she should be out of here by tonight. My mother's coming by to look after her while I head back to work."

"Shouldn't you be the one to look after her? You are her father and all."

"Heh, you're starting to sound like my mother. I wish I could, but with everything that's happened, I need to make work my top priority for now."

"Hmm..."

"If you're that concerned, I'm getting a day off soon. It's been a while since I've actually been home, and my mom keeps complaining how I'm not around Hikari's life as much as I should be."

"Well she's right. Parents should be there for their kids. I can give you a book you two can read together."

"Oh you don't have to go that far." The man said as he and Dai finally made it over to the girls.

"Hey girls, sorry for the wait." Dai apologized.

"It's okay." Honoka said as she and Nagisa gathered up all their things. She then turned to the man Dai had been talking with and asked, "Who is this?"

"Oh! Right, you three haven't met yet." Dai said before gesturing to the man with him. "This is Enokida Sayuru. He's a scientist of the Special Investigation Team and an old friend of Ichijo-san. He helps fix my bike whenever it needs repairs and looks after Gouram when I'm not around."

"That's lead scientist." Sayuru added in. "And you're telling them this, why?"

"Well, they know who I am." Dai said, scratching the back of his head. Sayuru must have thought the girls were normal civilians and wondered why Dai was telling them top secret stuff.

Sayuru raised an eyebrow to the girls who looked a bit nervous under his questioning gaze. He then remembered a rumor that had been going around HQ for a while.

"Are you two perchance...the duo known as Pretty Cure?"

"Eh!?" Both girls naturally looked surprised.

"Judging from that reaction, I guess I'm right." Sayuru said. "So you two are the famous Pretty Cure that's been been fighting a secret battle with an unknown evil. You two are a lot younger than I thought you'd be."

"Um, we..." Nagisa spoke, but didn't know what to say.

"Oh don't worry. Your secret's safe with me." Sayuru assured them. "There's been talk of a duo called Pretty Cure going around HQ for a while, but most of us don't even know what you two looked like. Heck, I was surprised when Chief Hiwagawa suddenly announced that half of our forces were helping a group of girls some of us didn't even know about. I really don't know what the chief was thinking. Our forces are already spread out thinly dealing with the Unidentified Lifeforms."

"Um, we're sorry." Nagisa said with some uncertainty.

"Oh don't be, I'm just rambling. You two are fighting the good fight, just like the rest of us." Sayuru said as he looked at Dai and girls with a smile. "It makes me glad to see that this generation has some pretty brave kids. Just don't go worrying us adults too much."

"Uh, yes. Thank you and sorry to worry you." Nagisa said before realizing that she and Honoka had yet to give their names to the man. "I'm Misumi Nagisa, by the way."

"Ah, and I'm Yukishiro Honoka. It's a pleasure to meet you, Enokida-san."

"Likewise."

"Um..." Honoka spoke up again, looking at the scientist with uncertainty.

"Yes?" Sayuru said, noticing the look on Honoka.

"Well, if I may be so bold as to ask, what do you do exactly in the Investigation Team? Specifically, what do you do to help Ichi-kun with his battles."

"What? Curious?"

"Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't."

"Well..." Sayuru began, debating what he should tell the girls. "I could tell you, but that's top secret."

"Oh, I see." Honoka said, a bit disappointed, but she understood why Sayuru couldn't tell her. "That makes sense. Sorry for asking."

"Don't be." Sayuru said before looking at Dai. "Why don't you have the shōnen(boy) here take you to HQ the next time he comes in for bike repairs. Our place is almost finished rebuilding and I can show you just what I do to help the kid here."

"Really?" Honoka looked at the man in surprise.

"Sure. You seem like a very curious girl and we are technically fighting together. Just make sure that what you see stays secret."

Honoka just smiled and nodded.

"Hey, I'm coming too." Nagisa said, feeling a bit left out. "I want to know more about the people that are helping Dai-kun."

"Sure, that's fine." Sayuru said before turning to Dai. "You've got some good friends here, shōnen."

"Yeah, I really do." Dai said with his usual smile.

(Insert STRIKE BACK by BACK-ON)

(Instrumental) The song starts as the camera rises up to show the legs of Kuuga before we get a sudden screen shot of Cure Black and Cure White before go back to Kuuga. Just as the camera is at the Arcle, we get a sudden shot of Mepple and Mipple before the camera gets to his chest. We then get another sudden shot of The PreCure cards surrounding Gouram before we go back to Kuuga whose back was facing the camera. He then suddenly turns around and punches the screen, cracking it as the title appears.

(Kidou sura kaerarenai kurai no kakuritsu da to shite mo) We now see Nagisa playing lacrosse with her team, catching a ball as Mepple is seen sleeping from Nagisa's bag.

(IPAASENTO demo areba mochiron teikou desho?) We then see Honoka with the members of the science club, doing an experiment that ended in an explosion as Mipple just giggles at the scene.

(Shosen, "unmei" to nagetsukerareta tte, No I won't!) We go to the city where police are examining a dead body. Ryō looks at the body before he walks away and gets out his phone, calling Dai.

(Hikkuri kaeshite, Because datte kimi to mirai wo miretara saikou janai?) Dai, riding on the TryChaser 2000, gets the call from his radio and speeds up, passing both Nagisa and Honoka as he races to meet up with Ryō.

(Bring it on! 'Cuz I'm just gonna grow up in the battle HEY! buchinuku donten!) Suddenly, the sky turns dark before the Dark King and his subordinates appears as well as an army of Zakenna appeared. Appearing with him was a shadow figure of N-Daguva-Zeba along with an army of Grongi.

(Still burning my fire ten wo kirsaku raimei I gotta kakikesu Nightmare tada mirai ga mitakute!) Nagisa and Honoka step in fear before Dai suddenly appeared behind them and gave them his signature smile and a thumbs up.

(Kako, mirai, soshite ikiteru ima, I ain't scared of my past and now for takusareta asu) Seeing his smile seemed to steel the girl's resolve as they took out the Queen PreCure and Dai summoned the Arcle belt.

(Screaming out for my pride!) A light then suddenly appears and appearing from it was Kamen Rider Kuuga along with Cure Black and Cure White, ready for battle.

(Namida mitakunai kara, sakebi tsudzukeru yo! Zutto...) Cure Black and Cure White engage a battle with some Zakenna before taking on Pisard, IIkubo, Poisony, Kiriya, and Gekidrago.

(I'm never falling down! oi kaze wo se ni fukitobasu Destiny!) Both sides trade blows for a bit before both girls held hands and fired their signature Marble Screw.

(Kono senaka ni aru, egao mamoritai kara! Zutto...) We see Kuuga kicking way a few Grongi, bashes them with the Dragon Rod while in his Dragon form, shoots a flying Grongi with his Pegasus Bowgun in his Pegasus form, slash a few more Grongi with his Titan Sword in his Titan form.

(I gotta blast off your pain for you and me! kanashimi nante Rest in peace!) Dai and the girls meet regroup as they face both the Dark King and N-Daguva-Zeba. Dai charges up a Mighty Kick before he jumps.

(Nando demo...) The girl then threw another Marble Screw as Dai kicks towards the two beings of darkness with the Marble Screw following close behind him before a light overtakes everything and we see a quick look at the blue sky before the song ends.

(Dark Zone)

"Ugh..." The groans of the Dark King seemed to blend with the roaring of thunder around the Dark Zone as Ilkubo stood before him.

"What are doing? Collect the seven Prism Stones. Power, I want that power. The Power of Creation..." The Dark King took, but a moment to collect himself. "Once I obtain that power, I will be complete. I will exist for all eternity!"

Just as the Dark King was finished speaking did he suddenly start to groan in pain again. Time was running short and Ilkubo knew this well.

"Wow, you don't sound so hot there." Suddenly, from the shadows came Daguva, his figure still hidden in the darkness.

"Daguva," Ilkubo wasn't pleased to see the leader of the Grongi's here. "What do you want. Come to agonize Dark King-sama?"

"Now why would I do that?" Despite the darkness hiding him, a playful smile could be seen. "After all, he is the one who's letting me stay here while I'm recovering my powers. This place is so dull, so he should be happy that he's got someone like me to keep him company. Isn't that right, Dark King-san?"

The giant of darkness wanted to retort, but all he got out was another groan.

"See?" Daguva mockingly pointed and smiled.

"Tch! I don't have time to deal with you." Ilkubo said as he turned and left.

"And where are you going?" Daguva asked.

"Dark King-sama's time is running low. Poisony and Kiriya have yet to come back with results. Time is running out, which is why I am heading out myself." Ilkubo said before he seemingly teleported.

"So the old saying: If you want something done right, do it yourself." Daguva said as he started looking around. "Hmm, I am kind of bored right now. Perhaps..." A wicked smile bordering between playful and insane formed on Daguva.

"Perhaps I should step out myself and get some fresh air?"

(The Next Day)

"So all of that really happened?" Dai asked as he walked with Nagisa while pushing his bike, the two having just gotten out of school.

"Yeah, it was really surprising." Nagisa said as she and Dai walked through the general market place. "The second we reached our classroom, we were suddenly in some unknown space where we fought that Poisony lady. Things got really bad in the end, but we were somehow saved."

"You were saved? By who?"

"I really don't know, but it felt like someone saved us. I can't help, but wonder why though."

"Well, as long as you two were saved, does it really matter?" Dai said.

"I guess not." Nagisa said before she decided to change topics. "So, how are things with the Grongi?"

"It's been good so far with only some small casualties." Dai said as he thought back to his previous battles. "Just a few more and the Me Group should be taken care of."

"So you're almost down wiping out another group?" Dai nodded. "Wow. It doesn't feel that long ago when you were still dealing with the Zu Group."

"Yeah, but after the Me Group is the Go Group." Dai said as he gripped the handles of his bike. "I won't lie, I'm kind of nervous about facing them. After facing Jiino, I'm not so sure about my chances against them."

"I'm sure you'll figure out a way. You always do." Nagisa said, placing a hand over one of Dai's.

Dai looked at the hand over his before looking at Nagisa's reassuring smile. Seeing it made something inside of him warm up and he smiled back.

"Yeah. Thanks, Nagisa-chan."

"Don't mention it." Nagisa said as she took back her hand. "And remember, you have Honoka and I to help. You're not in this alone."

"Likewise." Dai said as he and Nagisa continued to smile at one another.

"Ahem." Both Dai and Nagisa blinked at the sound of someone clearing their voice. Turning around, they saw standing next to them was Honoka.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

"Whoa!" Both Dai and Nagisa jumped in surprise at the girl's sudden appearance.

"Honoka! Where did you come from?" Nagisa asked, looking around as to where Honoka could have showed up.

"I was behind you. I called you two, but you didn't hear me." Honoka said. "You two seemed to be lost in your own world."

"Ahaha..." Dai laughed awkwardly as he scratched the back of his head. "Gomen(Sorry)."

"It's fine." Honoka said when suddenly, Mepple popped out from his carrier.

"Something smells good-mepo!" The three naturally cried out in surprise. "I'm in the mood for some fluffy bread-mepo!"

"You have got to be kidding me!" Nagisa said as the three quickly moved away from the market place.

"Didn't you already feed him?" Dai asked as the three eventually got to the park where lucky for them, there was no one around.

"I fed him during lunch time." Nagisa said as Dai kicked the stand of his motorbike out to support it before the three went over to a bench.

"Hey, I can't help it if I'm hungry-mepo. A man's gotta eat when he's gotta eat-mepo."

Just then, from Honoka's carrier, Mipple popped out and looked at Mepple.

"Mepple, lately you've been acting strange-mipo."

"What's been strange-mepo?"

"You've been only talking about food lately-mipo."

"That's true. You two are usually more lovey-dovey when together." Dai pointed out with the girls agreeing with him.

"Well I can't help it if I'm hungry-mepo." Mepple said, looking away from Mipple.

"Mepple, you are forgetting yourself-mipo." Mipple said, making Mepple turned to her in confusion.

"Huh?"

"You are the legendary hero of the Garden of Light-mipo. But lately, you've been getting lazy and forgetting our mission-mipo."

"I'm not getting lazy, I'm preparing-mepo. If you don't understand, you can't be called the Princess of Hope-mepo."

Mipple narrowed her eyes at Mepple. "What are you trying to say-mipo?"

"You're not nice enough to give hope to everybody-mepo!" Mepple exclaimed angirly.

"Mepple, you really think of me like that-mipo?" Mipple said, feeling hurt.

"You insulted me too-mepo."

"I didn't insult you-mipo." Mipple said, looking to be on the verge of crying. "I just want to revive the Garden of Light soon-mipo, and restore our hometown which was destroyed by the Dark Zone. I just want to live together with everyone-mipo..."

Mepple looked surprised. Slowly turning to Mipple, he could see tears threatening to fall.

"Oh Mepple...What are you thinking-mepo!" With that outburst did Mipple close herself and slid back into her carrier, surprising everyone.

"Mipple got angry!" Nagisa said in surprise. While the pink colored fairy could get angry, it was very rare so it was surprising to see.

"I don't think I've seen her this upset since the Prism Hopish incident." Dai said as Honoka nodded in agreement.

"W-Well, if you're gonna be like that, then...!" Unable to come up with anything, Mepple soon closed himself also and slid back into his own carrier.

The girls and Dai could only stare in surprise at what had just transpired.

"Um..." Breaking the silence, Dai spoke up. "Maybe we should save our discussion for another time?" The three had planned to go to Honoka's place so Dai could explain more about the Grongi , but after what had just happened...

"Y-Yeah, I think that's for the best." Honoka said as the three got up. "I'll see you three tomorrow?"

"Yeah." Nagisa nodded before she and Dai parted ways with Honoka and each headed to their respective homes.

(Later)

"Whew! Now that was a good dinner." Dai said, patting his stomach as he and Nagisa entered the girl's room.

"Good to know your skills in cooking haven't rusted." Nagisa commented as the Rider had helped with today's dinner. She then spots Mepple on the table and grabs her cards from her desk. "And speaking dinner, it's time for a certain someone to have his."

"I don't want to eat-mepo." Mepple said just as Nagisa had gotten the needed card out.

"Eh? If you say something like that, you must have a fever." Nagisa said, half-joking and half-serious. After the last incident with Mepple being sick, she wasn't taking any chances as she placed a finger over Mepple to measure his temperature, but the fairy waved her off.

"Get off of me-mepo! I'm not sick-mepo!"

"He's probably just worried about Mipple." Dai said as he sat down and looked at the fairy. "I'm right, aren't I?"

Mepple wanted to say otherwise, but knew what Dai said was the truth.

"It's no wonder that Mipple's angry with me-mepo."

"About wanting to return to her home? It's only natural for her to want to go back to her world." Nagisa said.

"I don't think you've ever told us about your home, Mepple." Dai said. "Well, maybe you've already told Nagisa-chan here, but not me. What's it like?"

"The Garden of Light is a very beautiful place-mepo. It's always daylight and flowers bloom all year long-mepo." Mepple explained before looking down. "Well, it was. Before it was consumed by the power of the Dark Zone..."

"The power of the Dark Zone consumed everything, right? That's what you told me." Nagisa said, remembering what Mepple had told her long ago.

"That's right-mepo. The seven Prism Stones are what protect the Garden of Light. If all seven stones get taken, the power to restore the Garden if Light to its former glory will be gone, and the garden with disappear forever-mepo!"

"And so you and Mipple ran with two of the seven stones, in order to keep the Garden of Light safe." Nagisa said, feeling like she was understanding Mepple's situation a bit better now than before.

"It was a close call-mepo. The Dark Zone surrounded everything, consuming everything until all that remained was only darkness-mepo. If nothing is done, then nothing will grow ever again-mepo. That's why we must protect these stones no matter what-mepo."

"We understand." Dai said. "You're doing you're very best for your home so that one day, you and Mipple can go back, right?"

"Yes." Mepple nodded. "I also want to go back and live together with Mipple, and everyone else in the restored Garden of Light-mepo."

"So if all the Prism Stones come together, the Garden of Light will be revived?" Nagisa asked.

"That's right-mepo. When all seven Prism Stones come together, and the true meaning of the power of creation is revealed, everything in the Garden of Light will be returned to the way it once was-mepo."

"Wow, this power of creation sounds pretty amazing." Dai commented with Nagisa nodding in agreement.

"That power also exists here in the Garden of Rainbows-mepo."

"Eh? In this world?" Nagisa asked.

"Bit by bit, they add up." Mepple explained. "The energy of humans, the living power in flowers and animals, all of that is also part of the power of creation-mepo."

"Oh?"

"It might be a little too hard for you to understand-mepo." Mepple couldn't help, but tease the girl that was his partner a little.

"Oi, what's that supposed to mean exactly?" Nagisa said, glaring down at the fairy.

"Um, in any case, I also want to quickly restore the Garden of Light-mepo."

"It'll be nice if it happens soon." Nagisa said with Dai nodding in agreement.

"According to the legend, the legendary hero and the princess of hope will find the legendary warriors-mepo." Mepple explained. "When we combine our powers, everything will turn out okay-mepo!"

"So the Princess of Hope is Mipple, and the legendary hero is you, Mepple?" Dai asked.

"That's right!"

"Hmm..." Dai looked at Mepple before a teasing smile made it's way to his face. "I'm having a hard time seeing that."

"Oi! What's that supposed to mean-mepo!?" Mepple angirly exclaimed while Nagisa laughed a little.

"And so Pretty Cure, Honoka and I, are the legendary warriors?" Nagisa asked.

"That's right-mepo."

"But if the legendary hero and the Princess of Hope aren't getting along, isn't that a bad sign?"

"D-Don't say that-mepo..."

Nagisa then glanced at Dai and said, "And I'm pretty sure the legend never mentioned anybody like Dai-kun here."

"Oh definitely-mepo..."

In response to the two's comments, Dai gave them a smile as if proud at what he was is.

"You know, all this talk of worlds has me thinking..." Nagisa began before turning to Dai. "What's your world like? I don't think you ever told me anything about it besides your powers being fictional over there."

"Really?" Dai blinked at that.

"I'm kinda curious myself-mepo." Mepple said. After all, it's not everyday you get to meet other people from not just another world, but possibly a whole other dimension.

"Well..." Dai hummed to himself, thinking of what to say.

"Well, for one thing, before I came here the year was 2014."

"2014?" Nagisa looked at Dai in surprise. That's ten years from now.

"Yeah. This world and my world aren't so different except for a few places that I'm sure doesn't exist back in my world." Dai said, having looked up places that this world has that his world didn't. Such places called Kibougahana, Nanairogaoka, and Pikarigaoka stuck out to him as the names felt made up to him. It was like a name you could only find in an anime.

"So you're kinda, technically from the future?" Nagisa asked, unsure.

"I guess?" Dai said, also unsure himself, but didn't worry about it. "I was still fourteen at the time. Kamen Rider Gaim had just ended and Drive was soon to start." Thinking about it now, since he was 15, that meant that Drive was probably over by now and the next Kamen Rider was airing right now. Dai felt a little sad knowing that.

"Gaim? Drive?" Nagisa repeated as she and Mepple looked at Dai in confusion.

"Other Kamen Riders." Dai said. "The two I just mentioned were the latest in my world."

"Oh yeah, you did mention that there were more Kamen Riders." Nagisa said, thinking back to when Dai first revealed his secret of being from another world. "Just how many Kamen Riders are there? You made it sound like there are a lot of them."

"Oh there are." Dai said. "Currently, there are two different generations of Kamen Riders. The Showa Riders, and the Heisei Riders."

"Showa? Heisei? As in the eras?" Nagisa asked and Dai nodded.

"That's right. I'll start from with the Heisei Riders since that's the era we're in right now." Dai started by pointing to himself. "To start out, there's Kuuga which is who I am. After Kuuga is Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade, Double, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Gaim, and lastly, Drive. And these are just the main Riders, by the way. There's still the secondary Riders to get to."

Nagisa and Mepple both blinked owlishly at Dai.

"That's...a lot more than I thought." Was all Nagisa could say.

"What do you mean when you said secondary Riders-mepo?" Mepple asked.

"It's just as the name says. They're Riders that appear after the main Rider. Think of them as partners that support the main Rider" Dai explained the best way that he could. "There are a lot of Secondary Riders, so much that I feel like it'll take all night for me to talk about them. So I'll talk about them some other time."

"Oh, okay." Nagisa said, feeling a little disappointed that she wouldn't get to hear about the Secondary Riders. For now.

"Is there a secondary Rider for Kuuga-mepo?" Mepple suddenly asked, causing Nagisa to look curiously at Dai.

"Sadly, no. Kuuga is the only Rider of his series. The only help he ever got were from his friends and the police force." Dai then hummed to himself as a thought entered his head. "It never really bothered me before after I became Kuuga and obtained my Mighty form, but it would certainly help if there was another Rider around. Could help with situations where I'm unable to help."

Dai may have the powers of his favorite Rider, but that doesn't stop him from living a normal, human life. Him skipping classes has left his grades, while still good, a bit rocky and after his stunt with Kiriya during the exams, Dai could no longer skip classes unless he had a good reason to. This, of course, made it hard for Dai to move out whenever he got notified about a Grongi, and it wasn't like he could tell the school that he was a Rider and had to skip classes in order to fight monsters.

"I wonder if this world has a G3 suit somewhere." Dai unknowingly thought out loud.

"G3 what?" Nagisa repeated, confused.

"Huh? Uh..." Dai collected himself, having not meant for others to hear that. Seeing Nagisa's look, Dai was forced to explain. "G3 is the name of another Rider. He's the secondary Rider for Agito. The G3 suit is an exo-suit developed by Tokyo's Metropolitan Police Department. The suit was created in light of the Grongi threat and received funding from the city government in order to develop it. G3 is short for Generation 3, which means the suit is the third attempt at making and improving the suit."

"The sounds amazing." Nagisa said, amazed and so was Mepple. "Do you think there's actually a G3 suit somewhere?"

"I honestly don't know." Dai said with a shrug before explaining. "Agito takes place some time after Kuuga. While it would be super helpful if there was one, by the time the suit was entering it's final stages of completion, the Grongi threat had already been eliminated and research on the suit was thus postponed. If there even is a G3 suit somewhere in this world, I doubt it's even finished right now."

"Well that sucks." Nagisa couldn't help, but comment.

"What about the other Riders-mepo? The Showa ones." Mepple asked.

"Right. Now these guys are pretty old since their shows took place in the 19th century. But they're no pushovers when compared to the Heisei Riders. A big difference between the two is that a lot of the Showa Riders were once normal people until they were turned into cyborgs."

"Cyborgs? Really?" Nagisa asked in disbelief.

"It's true. Circumstances differ from one another, but most of the Showa Riders are cyborgs. The first Showa Rider and the very first Kamen Rider ever is Kamen Rider Ichigo. After him are Nigo, V3, Riderman, X, Amazon, Stronger, Skyrider, Super-1, ZX, Black, Black RX, Shin, ZO, and J. These fifteen make up the Showa Riders."

"Wow..." Nagisa muttered, surprised once again at the number before noticing something. "Wait, why are there two Black's?"

"Are you asking because you're curious, or because you're also called Black?" Dai asked with a playful smile.

"I'm serious here!"

"Hai, hai(Okay, okay), I'm just messing with you." Dai said, still smiling a little, but explained. "The reason there are two Kamen Rider Black's is because they're the same person."

"That's it?"

"That's it."

"Um..." Both Dai and Nagisa turned to Mepple when he spoke up.

"Something wrong?" Dai asked.

"No, it's nothing-mepo. It's just there's a name that you mentioned that I know-mepo."

"Really?" Mepple nodded. "What name did you recognize."

"The first one, Ichigo-mepo." Mepple said before he seem to think back to something. "In the Garden if Light, there's this huge statue of this one man named Ichigo. Apparently, this man was a friend of the Queen and was a great warrior who fought against evil-mepo."

"Queen?" Both Dai and Nagisa pointed out at the same time.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that the Garden of Light has a Queen-mepo?"

"You never mentioned someone like that at all!" Nagisa exclaimed loudly, making Mepple jump back in surprise.

"Hehehe, I guess it slipped my mind-mepo?" Mepple said, laughing nervously.

"So mind telling us about this queen of yours?" Dai asked, curious as to what sort of being the queen of the Garden of Light was like. He pictured a fairy much like Mepple and Mipple, but bigger and wearing royal clothing.

"Well, the Queen is a benevolent ruler who watches over everything in the Garden of Light..." And so, the three continued to talk the night away.

(The Next Day)

"Ohayō(Good Morning)!" The second Dai entered the school building, he greeted the first person he saw which was none other than Kiriya.

"Ohayōgozaimasu, Ichi-senpai." Kiriya greeted back politely.

"You're here early." Dai commented as he went to switch his shoes.

"Well, I was hoping to get some last minute studying in before the next exams. Thanks to a certain somebody, I barely made it back on time for my exams yesterday." Kiriya threw Dai a stink eye as he said all that.

Dai simply smiled and laughed apologetically.

"I heard you barely made it back for your exams as well." Kiriya said, putting his outdoor shoes in his shoe locker.

"Yeah, the teacher was displeased with me as with me constantly skipping classes. What I did the other day was the final straw and I was brought to the principal. The vice principal really gave me a huge lecture."

"I'm surprised it took this long for you to be brought in. You would think after more than a week they'd bring you in to talk."

"Yeah, hehehe." Dai laughed it off as he put his outdoor shoes away in his locker before parting ways with Kiriya. "Well, think I'll take after you and go do some last minute studying before the exams. Good luck on yours."

"Likewise." Kiriya nodded before heading off his class with Dai doing the same.

(Meanwhile, with Nagisa)

We find our heroine walking alone on her way to school. Unlike Dai who had decided to leave early, Nagisa decided to just leave at her usual time. Although, she was starting to have second thoughts right now.

"Maybe I should have left with Dai so he could help me with some last minute study." Nagisa said to no one, but herself.

"Ohayō!" Hearing a familiar voice coming from behind her, Nagisa turned and saw Honoka running up to her.

"Ohayō." Nagisa greeted back once her friend reached her and the two walked together. She then stopped, remembering last night's talk with Mepple.

"That's right." Nagisa said to herself before she pushed Honoka towards a nearby alley.

"What is it?" Honoka asked once Nagisa stopped pushing and got in front of her.

Nagisa leaned in and whispered, "Mepple is worried about what happened yesterday."

"Oh, I see. We should help them out." Honoka said, getting the gist of it.

So with that in mind, the girls opened up their respective carriers to let their fairy partners out.

"Mepple, don't you something you want to say to Mipple?" Said fairy soon popped up from his carrier, fumbling with his words.

"Mipple." At Honoka's voice did Mipple also pop out form her carrier, looking just as nervous as Mepple.

"D-Do you want something-mipo?"

"U-Um..." Mepple mumbled nervously, trying to get the words out.

"All you have to do is say you're sorry." Nagisa instructed, trying to give Mepple a needed push.

"W-Why should I apologize-mepo!" But it seemed to have the opposite effect as Mepple got angry. "She's the one who said I wasn't a hero-mepo!"

At Mepple's anger, Mipple too became angry and shot back.

"Well you said I wasn't the like the Princess of Hope-mipo!"

"It's not good to hold a grudge forever-mepo!"

"You're the one who's holding a grudge-mipo!"

"Yesss, that's right. Since I'm not a hero, I must be selfish-mepo."

"You're the worst-mipo!" And with that last exchange, both fairies closed themselves up and went back into their carriers, leaving both their partners flabbergasted.

"Why did it have to go this way?" Nagisa said before sighing.

*thump!*

Suddenly, the sound of something falling was heard, getting the girls' attention. Looking to see what was the cause, both the girls gasped in surprise.

All around them were people, down on the ground, unconscious and pale as if life has been sucked out of them. But it wasn't just the people. Cars have stopped moving, the lights on traffic and signs were gone, flowers and plants were withering away, and the whole city seemed a bit paler in color. It's as if life from everything had been taken.

"Wha...What is this?" Nagisa said, looking around in disbelief.

"What in the world is happening?" Honoka said, feeling the same as Nagisa right now.

(With Dai)

"Oi! Oi! What's wrong! Get a hold of yourself!" Dai spoke loudly to a collapsed student. He tried shaking him, but to no avail. Setting the student down and getting up, all around Dai were unconscious students and teachers that had all suddenly fallen.

"What's going on here?" Dai said to himself as he took off running.

Meanwhile, on the roof of the building, Kiriya was seeing the entire situation right now in front of him, and could not believe his eyes.

"What, what is all this?" Kiriya said as he looked around. "The air, it's as if it's frozen. And this tension..." Kiriya's eyes then widen, realizing the cause of all this.

"It can't be, he's here!? Ilkubo!"

Somewhere in the city, the mentioned Dark General held a ball of darkness in his hand while lights of rainbow color were sucked into it. The sight itself amazed the being of darkness.

"It seems there is more than I thought." Ilkubo said to himself as he continued to suck the life out of everything.

"Even if it's only a small amount, when gathered together it will make a fine present for our Lord, Dark King-sama."

(Back with the girls)

Being the only ones that were still conscious and moving, the girls moved out, trying to find if anybody was okay. But no matter where they went, it was the same. Unconscious people, withered plants, and colorless surroundings.

"No matter where you go, it's the same!" Honoka said, wondered just what was causing all of this.

"Any ideas, guys?" Nagisa asked the fairies.

"There's something in the air that I haven't felt before-mepo."

"Could this be the work of the Dark Zone?" Nagisa asked as it was the only possible explanation.

"There's no mistake-mepo." Mepple said with certainty.

Suddenly, a large amount of dust kicked up, instantly grabbing the girls' attention. Turning, the girls saw a figure within the dust cloud and quickly moved to see who it was. By the time they got to the dust cloud, the dust had all blown away, leaving only the figure, Ilkubo, left with his back to the girls.

Sensing someone behind him, the Dark General turned around to the girls. From his gaze alone made the girls step back as they unconsciously entered battle stances.

"Is it you two?" Ilkubo asked, looking and gauging the girls under his eyes. "It is you."

"What...what is this pressure?" Nagisa wondered out loud as she and Honoka continued to step back as Ilkubo advanced towards them. They didn't even notice that they had back up into a construction site until they noticed the fences and piles of debris behind them.

"That ball is...?" Honoka spoke up, pointing out the ball in Ilkubo's hand.

"It seems like something's flowing into it." Nagisa said, noticing specs of light getting sucked into it.

That ball...It's sucking up all the life energy from the surrounding-mepo." Mepple informed.

"Eh?"

"Thanks for saving me the trouble of having to look for you." Ilkubo said, smiling wickedly. "Now, hand over the Prism Stones

"Th-This is bad. This guy is different from the others we fought-mepo!" Mepple, looking absolutely scared, warned the girls.

"He's right, this person is dangerous-mipo!" Mipple added in, also looking scared.

"You say that, but with the city like this, we can't just leave him alone." Nagisa said, trying to gathered up her courage.

"That's right." Honoka agreed with her friend, also trying to gathered up her courage.

"Alright, let's go!"

"Right!"

With no other choice, but to fight, the girls got out their fairies and swiped the card to initiate their transformation.

"Duel Aurora Wave!"

As per usual, light erupted form underneath the girls, nearly blinding Ilkubo, but was nonetheless unfazed. Soon, the light died down and standing before him were the duo that has given his comrades so much trouble. Pretty Cure!

"Hikari no shisha, Cure Black!"

"Hikari no shisha, Cure White!"

"Futari wa PreCure!"

"Yami no chikara no shimobetachi yo…"

"…Tottoto ouchi ni kaerinasai!"

For the most part, Ilkubo was unimpressed. Nevertheless, he readied himself for battle.

"If you fight me, know that I will not hold back."

"Don't take him lightly-mepo!"

"We know!" Nagisa said before she and Honoka ran towards the Dark General.

Nagisa reached him first and threw out a punch, but before she could even tough him, Ilkubo raised his free hand and suddenly, Nagisa was sent flying back where she crashed against a wall so hard she left cracks.

"Black!"

"I told you already, I'm not holding back." Ilkubo said before making a 'come on' gesture. "Now, come."

"Why you! How dare you...!" Enraged, Honoka leaped towards Ilkubo to deliver a drop kick.

Instead of blowing back Honoka like he did with Nagisa, Ilkubo instead stopped Honoka's dropkick and pushed her back, sending her flying and meeting the same fate as Nagisa.

"White!" Nagisa quickly went over to her friend's side, helping her up.

"It's futile." Ilkubo said. "There's too much of a difference in our powers."

"Don't underestimate us!" Honoka said before she and Nagisa ran towards the Dark General again.

In response, Ilkubo raised his hand and sent a shock wave, sending the girls and rolling on the ground painfully.

"Daijōbu ka(Are you okay)-mepo?" Mepple cried out.

"Hang in there-mipo!" Mipple cried out.

"He's unbelievably strong." Nagisa groaned as she struggled a little to push herself up.

"Can we even win against him?" Honoka groaned, also trying the get back up. They may have some training thanks to Dai, but it was useless if they can't even get close.

"With this guy here, it might be best to retreat-mepo." Mepple suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea-mipo." Mipple said, agreeing with Mepple.

"I don't think we could if we wanted to." Nagisa said as she finally pushed herself up.

"Yes, we have to do something." Honoka said as she and Nagisa got to their knees until they noticed that Ilkubo was right next to them. Alarmed, the girls got to their feet, but were soon blown back by another shock wave from the Dark General, crashing against one of the metal fences and denting it.

"Black/White!" Both fairies cried out in worry for their respective partners.

"Not yet..." Nagisa groaned as she and Honoka got back up.

"Gotta keep going..." Groaned Honoka before the girls ran towards Ilkubo again. But like last time, they were sent back flying and crashing by another shock wave, this one sending them through the fence and crashing into the pile of debris. Despite the pain they were in, they still got back up.

"I grow tired of this." Ilkubo said, deciding to end this fight right now. "Now I will take all of your powers, the Power of Light." Holding out the ball of darkness in his hand, light sudden surrounded the girls before the light was sucked into the ball in Ilkubo's hand.

"What is this, this terrible feeling?" Nagisa said, trying to move her body, but to no avail.

"My body's power, it feels like it's being sucked up." Honoka said, also unable to move.

"It's that ball! He's using it to suck up all of Pretty Cure's Power of Light-mepo!" Mepple informed, yet despite the new info, there's nothing the girls could do.

Then, with a gasp, all of the light was sucked up into the ball, leaving the girls back in their civilian forms. Drained of their powers, the girls fell to their knees, exhausted and weak.

"It can't be!" Mepple cried out in disbelief.

"The transformation was reversed-mipo!" Mipple cried out.

"No way..." Nagisa's voice was low, finding it difficult to keep her eyes open.

"How's this possible?" Honoka too found it hard to keep her eyes open with her voice also low.

"The Power of Light is incredible. I'm honestly impressed." Ilkubo mused. "However, right now I hold it in the palm of my hand. With this hand, everything has been settled." He then looked towards the girls. "Now then, give it up and hand over the Prism Stones.

The girls tried to move, to get back up, but they could not must up the power to even do that.

"It's no use, our powers..."

"It's gone!"

"It might be useless-mipo." Mipple suddenly said. "Like this, we can't fight back, we can't even run-mipo."

"What are you saying-mepo?" Mepple said, unable to believe what Mipple was saying. "The Mipple I know would never say such things-mepo! Mipple is the Princess of Hope of the Garden of Light-mepo. If the Princess of Hope gives up hope, what would everyone do-mepo? If that happens, it's all over-mepo."

At this point, tears were falling from Mipple. "But, I don't know what to do-mipo."

"Maybe not us, but there's still someone we can rely on-mepo."

"Rely on?" Nagisa repeated until she realized who Mepple was talking about. "You mean-"

*VROOM!*

Suddenly, from above, the figure of a motorcycle jumped off the bridge and was falling down towards Ilkubo. Naturally, the being of darkness moved out of the way as the motorcycle landed and skidded to a stop right in front of the girls. Taking off his helmet, looked down to the girls.

"Nagisa-chan! Honoka-chan! Are you alright!?"

"Dai-kun/Ichi-kun..." Both girls breathed out, glad to see the Rider before them.

"You are..." Ilkubo muttered as Dai turned his head towards him.

"You..." Dai began as he set down his helmet and got off his TryChaser, "Are you the cause of all this?"

"I am." Ilkubo bluntly said.

"...yurusenai(I won't forgive you)." Dai glared at Ilkubo as he summoned the Arcle around his waist. "Zettai ni yurusenai(I really won't forgive you for this)! Henshin!"

With the humming of his Arcle, it only took a few seconds for Dai to finish his transformation into Mighty form. The instant Dai was done transforming, he kicked off his feet and ran towards Ilkubo. Once close enough, Dai threw out a punch only for the Dark General to raise his hand and send Dai flying back. Gritting his teeth, instead of crashing against a wall like what happened to the girls, Dai flipped in midair, landed with his feet against the all, and kicked off, flying straight towards Ilkubo who seemed surprised at Dai's quick recover and speed. Ilkubo used the same hand to block Dai's punch and he found himself skidding back about an inch. The distance was small, but the fact he skidded back surprised the Dark General.

Dropping down, Dai went to sweep Ilkubo's legs, but the being of darkness simply jumped to avoid the sweep. While still turning from his sweep, Dai jumped up and tried to roundhouse kick Ilkubo's head, but the Dark General simple ducked his head and lowered his body a little to avoid the kick. What he did not expect was for Dai, as he was falling back down, dropped to his back and pushed himself up, taking Ilkubo by surprise as Dai dropped kicked him across the face and sent the Dark General stumbling back. Capitalizing on this, Dai rushed up to Ilkubo and suddenly stomped his feet so hard the ground cracked beneath him. Unknown to those around him, Dai had performed a Zhen Jiao, a charging step of Bajiquan. With power generated, Dai then thrusts a fist forward. The punch was so straight that it was like thrusting a spear forward. Raising his arm, Ilkubo managed to block the punch, but the power generated behind it not only surprised Ilkubo, but also sent him back a couple yards away.

"He pushed him back!" Honoka cheered.

"That's our Dai-kun!" Nagisa added in her own cheer as well.

"This strength, this power..." Ilkubo looked at the arm he used to block Dai's punch. Underneath the sleeve of his robes, he could feel his arm getting bruised. That punch had nearly broken his arm.

"How fearsome. I now see why Dark King-sama is so wary of this one." Ilkubo said to himself before looking down at the ball in his hand. For a while now, he has been trying to drain whatever powers Dai was using, but during their brief exchange, not a single ounce of power had escaped from Dai.

"That power, it s not the Power of Light. In fact, it's the opposite."

"An opening!" Ilkubo was brought out of his musing and quickly raised his hand to catch a punch from Dai.

"Tch! Using the powers of darkness against a being of darkness, there's a limit to how arrogant one can be!" Illkubo practically shouted as he grabbed Dai's fist, brought him up to his height, before proceeding to throw Dai away, sending him crashing against a bridge support pillar.

Dai's crash left cracks as he fell down. Yet just as quickly as he was thrown, Dai got back up and got into a boxing stance. In response, Ilkubo cracked his fingers, ready to teach the Rider a lesson. To the side, the girls watched nervous anticipation. With the two fighters just standing there, anything could set them off much like a starting bell beginning a boxing match. It could be anything, from a leaf touching the ground, to a pebble skipping across the earth.

That starting bell took the form of a raindrop falling form the skies and landing on Dai's shoulder. The impact of the raindrop was almost inaudible, but it was all Dai needed to charge towards Ilkubo.

*THOOM!*

But then, suddenly, a wave of intent washed over everybody, stopping everyone in their tracks. Soon after, more raindrops fell from the sky until soon after, it began to storm.

'Was it supposed to rain today?' Nagisa couldn't help, but think. She could have sworn the weather report said it would be sunny for the entire week. But that was the least of Nagisa's problems.

"Wha...What is...?" Nagisa, try as she might, could not get words out of her mouth. Whatever she tried only came out incomplete.

"I feel...cold!" Honoka wasn't faring any better than Nagisa. She and Nagisa shook as if they were standing naked in a freezing blizzard!

Mepple and Mipple were far worse. They could not stop shaking in their carriers, they couldn't speak a word, and they were sweating like crazy. They could sense it. Everybody could sense it. Something dangerous was here. Something no one's ever seen before.

With Dai and Ilkubo, compared to the others, they were the least effected. Even then, they didn't fare well themselves.

"This pressure...killing intent?" Dai said, struggling to stay standing. Now Dai was no stranger to killing intent, having sensed it form the Grongi's he's fought. But the amount of killing intent in the air was overwhelming! It was practically freezing up the air itself!

"This phenomenon...it can't be!" Ilkubo's eyes widen. That person. That...monster should be back in the Dark Zone!

"You seem to be having fun there, Ilkubo." A voice suddenly spoke up. When it did, the killing intent in the air vanished, but its effects on everyone was still present.

The girls and their fairy partners were covered in cold sweat, though one wouldn't be able to tell due to the rain. Dai had finally fallen to his knees while Ilkubo remained standing, but was sweating a little himself.

"Already on your knees? Now that won't do, Kuuga." The voice spoke up again, seemingly coming from everywhere.

"W-Who's there?" Dai shouted out, getting back up to his feet and looking around.

"Boo." Dai jumped at the sudden scare and instinctively spun around and threw a backhanded strike only for it to be caught.

"Nice reaction, but still not enough." At the sound of the voice did Dai's instincts scream at him to move and he did just that. Taking his arm back, Dai jumped back and when he was away from whoever was behind him did he take a good look at who had appeared.

What stood before everyone was a young Japanese man. He appeared to be about 18 years old and despite standing in the rain, he looked completely dry, as if the rain refused to touch him. He has black hair that was neither short or long. His bangs barely covered his eyebrows and the end of his hair nearly reached the bottom of his neck. His face could be described as handsome, but not to the point where girls would fall head over heels. Rather, it was plain and normal. It was a face that might catch some people's attention, but would then be forgotten soon after. He wore a plain white button up shirt and pants, as well as white colored shoes. Lastly, he has chocolate brown eyes that had an innocent shine to them.

The man appeared innocent and harmless. Yet Dai's instincts were telling him a different story. This man before him was dangerous.

"Hello there. It's nice to finally meet you, Kuuga." The man greeted Dai with a smile.

"Who are you?" Dai demanded, raising his fists.

"Really? You haven't figured it out yet?" The man said before holding up a finger. "Then I'll give you a hint. What Grongi has four horns like Kuuga?"

Dai eyed the man in suspicion at that. Four horns? 'Kuuga obviously has two horns,' are the thoughts of those that didn't know Kuuga well. But Dai was different. He knew Kuuga better than anyone. There was one form Kuuga has that gave him four horns. The Ultimate form. And there was only one Grongi Dai knew of that also had four horns like Kuuga. Behind his helmet, Dai's eyes widen in realization.

"N-Daguva-Zeba!"

The now identified Daguva playfully smiled and clapped his hands. "Congrats, you got it in one!"

"Daguva?" Nagisa, now able to speak again, looked at the man in surprise. "As in, the leader of the Grongi?"

"Oh? You know about me?" Daguva turned to Nagisa, having heard her. And when Daguva's eyes landed on Nagisa, the girl felt her entire body screaming at her to run.

"Daguva," Ilkubo spoke up, getting the addressed Grongi to turn to him. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be back in the Dark Zone."

"Well, if you must know, I was bored." Daguva said, acting casually. "That place has gotten so dull as of late. I'd die of boredom if I stayed there any longer, so I decided to step out and get some fresh air. While I was at it, I thought to myself, since I'm out here and all, I might as well check up on this Kuuga's progress."

(BGM: Blazblue OST: Endless Despair L.A. Vocal)

Daguva turned back to Dai and the Rider felt his entire body freeze up when Daguva flashed him a wicked smile.

"What do you say, Kuuga? Up for a little fight?"

*POW!*

No sooner did those words leave Daguva's mouth did Dai felt something dig into his stomach. Blinking, Dai saw Daguva right in front of him, his fist digging right into his gut. He smiled at him before sending him flying back towards the support pillar he had crashed into earlier, only this time he crashed through it and stopped at the second pillar.

"Dai-kun/Ichi-kun!" Both Nagisa and Honoka cried out in worry for their friend.

Dai groaned as he removed himself from the pillar and fell to his knees. But as soon as he touched the ground did he notice Daguva standing right next to him. Before Dai had a chance to get up, Daguva kicked him and sent him flying towards the city. Naturally, Daguva followed.

Flying through the air, Dai felt himself crashing through a building before he stopped and crashed into a car. Dai groaned in pain as he removed himself from the car and looked up to see Daguva running straight towards him. Dai quickly moved to the right and dodged a punch that sent the car he crashed into flying into a random store. Collecting himself, Dai gritted his teeth and threw a punch, twisting his body to generate more power, but Daguva easily caught the punch as if it were nothing before using his other hand to punch Dai in the gut, throwing him up into the air. Jumping up after him, Daguva grabbed Dai by the head and flipped over him before throwing him down to the streets, making a crater.

Dai felt himself coughing blood in his helmet as he pushed himself up. No sooner did he get to his knees did Daguva land right in front of him. With no time to dodge, Dai held up his arms and shouted, "Chou Henshin!"

Daguva threw a roundhouse kick and sent Dai flying once again through this time, he didn't get very far. Crashing into another building, Dai was able to stay standing as he lowered his arms, showing that he had assumed his Titan form. Despite the pain he was in as well as the fear coursing through him, Dai stepped out of the building to face Daguva, grabbing an axe from an emergency box where it soon became the Titan Sword.

"Hoh, facing me with Titan?" Daguva mused out loud before looking around and tore off a branch from a random tree. Right before Dai's eyes, Daguva's eyes flashed purple for a brief moment before the branch in his hand turned into a black, demonic version of Kuuga's Titan Sword. Naturally, Dai was surprised by this and as if sensing it, Daguva smiled and laughed.

"What? Did you think only you and the Go Group could turn mundane items into weapons?" Brandishing his new broad sword, Daguva sped up towards Dai and swung his sword. Dai raised his own sword and blocked the strike, but the force behind Daguva's swing forced Dai to his knees where Daguva then took the chance to kick Dai down. On his back, Dai could only raise his sword to defend against Daguva's hammering strikes until he found a small window of opportunity to strike back. As Daguva brought up his sword to attack again, Dai raised one of his legs and kicked Daguva back, giving Dai the chance to get back up and swing his sword. Daguva raised an arm to block the sword, but got pushed back. Stumbling, Daguva stopping himself before looking at his arm and found a slash wound with fresh blood oozing out. Turning back to Dai, he smiled.

"Now that's more like it." In a burst of speed, Daguva covered the distance between him and Dai and swung his sword again. Dai brought up his sword and successfully blocked the strike before redirecting the sword and then shoulder rushed Daguva back before swinging his sword upward and aimed for Daguva's head. Leaning back, Dai's sword just sliced off a few strands of Daguva's hair before the Grongi in disguise threw out a surprise backhand, hitting Dai across the face and sending him stumbling back.

Dai recovered quickly and stood up properly, holding up his sword in a kendo stance. Meanwhile, Daguva placed his sword on his shoulder casually as he addressed the Rider.

"Not bad, not bad at all. I can see how you took down the Zu Group and most of the Me Group. Though, to be fair, I could do the same myself in less the time it took you. Weaklings have no place in the Gegeru, after all."

Dai tighten the grip on his sword as he glared at the monster before him. "I'll stop your sick game before any more people has to die."

"Oh really? Heh, I remember the last Kuuga saying that to me the last time I faced him. He succeeded, but do you want to know the main difference between you and him?"

Without waiting for an answer, Daguva closed the distance between him and Dai again, swinging his sword. Dai brought up his sword to block the attack, but to his surprise, Daguva's sword sliced straight through Dai's and sliced straight through his armor.

"Unlike you, Riku had the power to back up his claim."

"Guh! Chou Henshin!" Gritting through the pain, Dai jumped back and changed forms again, this time assuming Dragon form as his broken Titan Sword transformed into the Dragon Rod. Dai held a hand to his chest. Despite the armor fixing itself when he changed forms, he could still feel himself bleeding under his suit.

"Assuming Dragon form this time? What, are you hoping to out speed me?" Daguva said before his eyes flashed blue and the sword in his hands transformed into a black, demonic version of the Dragon Rod though instead of a staff, it was a spear. Daguva twirled his new transformed weapon before be tucked it under his arm and made a 'come on' gesture.

Dai gritted his teeth, but took a moment to take a deep breath and gather power. He then leaped up and flipped over, landing on the side of a building. Using the power in his legs, Dai kicked off the building and shot himself towards Daguva like a rocket, thrusting his Dragon Rod forward to execute a Splash Dragon. In response, Daguva held his spear with both hands and thrusts it towards Dai where it met his Dragon Rod. The two pole arms met and the result...

*SMASH!*

The results were Daguva's spear punching straight through Dai's Dragon Rod as if it were glass. Dai's eyes widen in surprise and disbelief while Daguva simply smiled victoriously as his spear continued forward and stabbed right into Dai's shoulder. For the first time, Dai cried out in pain as he grabbed the pole arm and tried to remove himself from it, but Daguva wouldn't let him. Lifting him up, Daguva turned and swung his spear, throwing Dai off of it like a catapult and sending flying back to where Ilkubo and the girls were at.

Crashing through another bridge support pillar, the girls cried out in surprise when Dai emerged from the rumble, rolling on the ground before his transformation was canceled, leaving Dai on the ground bleeding. The sight alone made the girls cry out in horror.

(BGM End)

"Dai-kun/Ichi-kun!" The girls moved up to go to the boy's side, but fell down when they could not generate the needed power to do just that. To the side, Ilkubo simply watched as Daguva landed right next to him, having jumped all the way here.

"Well now, that was quite the warm up." Daguva said, cracking his neck as he shouldered his spear.

"Are you going to finish him off?" Ilkubo asked.

"Of course. The strong kill the weak, It's as simple as that." Daguva said.

"...make it quick then. I must return to Dark King-sama soon." Ilkubo said, turning his back away from him. Daguva's work always got bloody near the end.

"Hai, hai." Dagiva casually said as he walked over towards Dai who was still, in fact, conscious as he tried to get back up. "Oh? Still conscious I see. That speaks a lot, you know."

Dai didn't bother responding, too preoccupied in trying to get back up. He used the support pillar to aid him, but his legs gave out and he fell down to his butt, holding his arm and staining the wall behind him with blood.

"Looks like you're spent. Guess it's time to end this then." Daguva casually said, brandishing his spear before his eyes flashed purple and the spear turned back into a sword. Pointing the newly turned sword at Dai, Daguva spoke one final time.

"For what it's worth, you did manage to wound me. That speaks volume of how strong you are. But sadly for you, I was stronger. So with that..." Daguva raised his sword while looking down at Dai. The boy, despite the state he was in, continued to glare at him. Daguva smiled at that and said, "Time to die."

Daguva swung his sword down and Dai instinctively closed his eyes, bracing himself for the pain that was to come.

"Dai-kun!" At the last minute, just as Daguva's sword was about to reach him, Nagisa suddenly appeared and tackled Daguva, sending the Grongi away from Dai.

"Nagisa-chan?" Dai looked up in surprise at the girl who had somehow found the strength to move.

"Come on, we have to move!" Nagisa knelt towards Dai, grabbing him to help him up. There wasn't much time until Daguva would recover and-

*STAB!*

All was quiet. No one dared to speak a word. Dai's eyes widen in horror and Honoka was speechless. Confused, Nagisa could only blink before slowly looking down and saw a sword coming out of her gut. Behind her, Daguva stood over her, his sword stabbed through her.

"Move it." Compared to how he spoke to Dai, Daguva's voice was cold as he nonchalantly removed his sword from Nagisa before he brought it up and delivered a devastating slash across her back.

"Nagisa!" Honoka and the fairies screamed in horror at what had just occurred.

For Dai, he could only look on, wide eyed as Nagisa's body fell on top of him. He caught her in his arms before she could fall down, but the girl was not moving. Slowly, Dai looked down towards Nagisa to find the girl passed out from shock. Moving his hands away from her back, Dai found them covered in blood.

"Nagisa! Nagisa! Nagisa!" Honoka cried out to her friend, her voice completely in a panic as she crawled over towards Dai who was still trying to process what had happened.

Then, there was a sigh. It had come from Daguva who swung his sword to get rid of the blood on it. Then, he spoke.

"Ah, human life. So...short. Oh well."

'Oh well?' Dai repeated in his mind. Those words were so short. So brief. So nonchalant. So...uncaring.

'Oh well? Oh Well? OH WELL!? OH WELL!?' Dai found himself hating those words, and soon, he found himself exploding. Literally.

*BOOM!*

Suddenly, there was an explosions of darkness, surprising everyone as Daguva was sent flying back. He skidded across the ground and looked up to a surprising sight that made him smile gleefully.

Dai was Kuuga once again. But he was not in his Mighty form. Nor was he in his Dragon, Titan, or Pegasus form. The form he was in right now greatly resembled his Mighty form, but the armor was black. That wasn't it as his body armor, shoulder pads, and gauntlets were now trimmed in gold as on the back of his hands is the ancient Linto mark of power. On both of his legs were armaments called the Mighty Anklet. Lastly, the lenses of his helmet were colored black.

Standing before everyone with Nagisa held in his arms, Dai stood as wisps of darkness came off of him. The sight alone sent chills down everyone around him.

"I-Ichi-kun...?" Honoka could only blink and look in surprise at her friend's sudden transformation.

"He's changed-mepo!" Mepple cried out, stating the obvious.

"But, what is this power-mipo?" Mipple said, staring fearfully at Dai and the darkness that came off of him.

"Wha...What is this?" Ilkubo exclaimed in surprise, staring at Dai in disbelief. Meanwhile, the ball in his hands shook, as if afraid of what has become of Dai.

"This feeling, darkness itself is spewing out from him. This power...i-it can't be! It's...It's greater than my own!" Ilkubo couldn't believe it. There was someone with the power of darkness, the same as he and his comrades. Yet, combined together, it wouldn't hold a candle to what stood before him now. But that was impossible! He was a being of darkness. He and his comrades came from darkness itself! Yet the evidence stood before him.

"Amazing Mighty Form." Daguva suddenly said, getting everyone's attention only to flinch when they saw the gleeful smile on his face. It was unnerving to look at.

"Interesting, most interesting. I can feel it, the rage spilling out of you. Your anger has cause you to assume one of Kuuga's strongest forms. You're just full of surprises aren't you?" Daguva said, yet Dai did not respond. Getting no response, Daguva asked a question.

"Hey...Do you hate me?"

(BGM: Blazblue OST: Black Onslaught L.A. Vocal)

Before Honoka had time to blink, she found Nagisa thrown towards her. In the same second it took her to realize her friend had been thrown to her, Daguva found a fist buried into his cheek before being sent flying towards and through support pillars. Daguva found himself flying through four pillars before flipping over and skidding to a stop as the bridge above him collapse from the lack of support. Daguva wasn't bothered as through the collapsing bridge came Dai practically flying towards him. Daguva held up his sword to defend himself, but found it was smashed through by Dai's fist as it dug itself into his gut, making the leader of the Grongi clan spit out saliva and blood.

"ROOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~!" With a beast-like roar, Dai poured power into his arm before he sent Daguva straight into the air. He then jumped after him, uppercutting his chin and making Daguva snap his head upward where in the next instant, an axe kick to the face sent Daguva back down to the ground, sending dust and debris everywhere as a crater formed.

Inside the crater, Daguva pushed himself up, covered in dirt as the rain seemed to somehow finally found a way to touch him and he was now drenched. But that didn't matter to the Grongi as he looked up with a smile as Dai came crashing down towards him with another punch, sending more dust and debris everywhere against as the crater was made bigger. Daguva was then thrown out of the dust where he skipped across the broken street before flipping over and skidding to a stop. Raising his arms up, he blocked a punch aimed for his face before he found his arms grabbed and moved out of the way as Dai gave him a headbutt, cutting and breaking his nose, drawing blood with a sickening crunch. Despite the pain, Daguva was still smiling. In fact, he was laughing now.

A fist struck Daguva across the face and he would have been sent flying if a foot didn't step on and crush his own, preventing him from escaping as Dai then proceeded to make Daguva a punching bag. Each punch Dai sent seemed to make tiny shockwaves showing how powerful they were. Yet, despite the powerful punches beating against him, Daguva still continued to laugh. In fact, he was soon fighting back, striking Dai across the helmet, the gut, and then the face again. It soon became a bloody slug fest as the two refused to relent to the other.

"Yes! That's it! Keep going! Show me more!" Daguva laughed out as Dai struck him across the face, making him spit out blood before he returned the favor.

As the slug fest continued, Honoka could only look on in disgusted horror. Horror at how brutal Dai was fighting, and disgusted in how Daguva was acting. Despite being the blood that kept spilling, the Grongi in disguise kept smiling and laughing like a lunatic, as if he was enjoying every minute of this while returning Dai's punches with one of his own. Unable to do anything, but watch, Honoka held Nagisa close to her as she watched the fight before her.

The slug fest between Dai and Daguva soon came to an end when both delivered a headbutt to one another, making the both of them stumble back. Shaking his head to get rid of the dizziness, Daguva looked up towards Dai and shouted, "Come on! Is that really all you've got!?"

Growling like an animal, Dai jumped back before taking a familiar stance that Honoka recognized as when Dai was preparing to deliver a Mighty Kick. The only difference now was from the bottom of his feet, electricity spewed out, mixing with the flames, and the anklets on both of his legs seemed to glow. Daguva smiled at his and waved his arms out as if ready to accept the greatest hug ever.

"Yes! That's it! Give me your best shot!"

"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH~!" With a roar, Dai soon took off running, almost becoming a blur to the eye as he leaped into the air, flipped over, and struck out with a drop kick, performing what was called the Amazing Mighty Kick.

Daguva smiled crazily as the kick came towards him. Then, unexpectedly, the sleeve of his left arm was torn apart as his arm grew three times its normal size and turned into a deathly pale color. With the now enlarged arm, Daguva punched forward to meet Dai's kick. And then...

(BGM End)

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~!*

A pillar of fire erupted between Daguva and Dai, spreading out as the pillar of flames spread wider and wider. Seeing the incoming flames, Ilkubo moved out of the way. As for Honoka, unable to move, she did the first thing that came to mind and use her body to shield Nagisa. The result was that as the pillar came closer and closer to her, the heat itself caused the sleeve of her right arm to burn itself off before her skin began to melt, making Honoka scream out in pain.

"Honoka!" Mipple cried out for partner, but she too was having trouble against the heat as well. It was like they were standing in front sun where the heat alone could melt anything!

Finally, after a minute had passed, the pillar died down and soon vanished. The only evidence left behind was the scorched earth and the flames flicker against the rain.

Ilkubo reappeared and looked at everything before him. To his left, Honoka laid on the ground, still covering Nagisa with her body as she held her bleeding, burning arm, whimpering in pain. Looking to the right, Dai was on the ground, back in his civilian form and unconscious. Standing over him was Daguva, covered in dirt, drenched, and with bruises decorating his face. His left arm had returned to normal, but was bleeding and mangled, as if it had been put through a shredder and then thrown into a furnace.

"You have won." Ilkubo stated.

"Yeah. Though it feels more like a draw to me." Daguva said, not looking the least bothered by his arm. Using his uninjured arm, he popped his broken nose back into place with a sickening crunch that made Ilkubo wince.

"A win is a win." Ilkubo reason before he set his sights on the girls and walked towards them. "Your last hope has just been defeated. Give up and hand me the Prism Stones now."

Honoka wanted to say something, to do anything really, but the pain from her arm prevented her from doing anything of that. It didn't help that the rain drops falling from the skies kept stinging the wound.

'Both Nagisa and Ichi-kun are down, and I can't do anything with an arm like this.' Honoka thought to herself, not liking the current situation. 'What do I do now?'

As soon as Honoka finished that thought was there a 'poof' sound and standing right in front of her was Mepple in his true form.

"Mep...ple?" Honoka stuttered out, gritting against the pain.

"Honoka, take Nagisa, Dai, and Mipple and escape-mepo." Mepple said, looking nervously at Ilkubo. "I'll...I'll do something about him-mepo."

"What are you...saying? You can't...fight him alone!" Honoka gritted out, trying to reason with the fairy.

"I'll manage somehow-mepo." Mepple said. "In the worse case I'll give him my Prism Stone, and you four can escape-mepo!"

"If that's the case, then I'm staying too-mipo!" Mipple suddenly said.

"What are you saying-mepo? Without you, the Garden of Light would lose all hope-mepo. I can't let you, Nagisa, Honoka, or Dai die here-mepo!"

"But, without you, Nagisa and won't be able to transform." Honoka said. Adrenaline was pumping through her now, lessening the pain of her arm for now.

"Even if you can't transform, as long as you're there to support Mipple, than that's good enough-mepo! So you four-!"

"But I don't want to lose you either-mipo!" Mipple cried out. "Mepple, you are my most precious person-mipo!"

"I'm the legendary hero-mepo! Mipple, Nagisa, Honoka, Dai, I'll protect you with my life-mepo!" Mepple declared loudly.

*BA-DUMP!*

"Hm?" Suddenly, the ball of darkness in Ilkubo's hand pulsed like a heart beat.

"I'm going to protect you four-mepo!" Mepple declared loudly as he charged forward towards Ilkubo only to be stopped by Daguva suddenly getting in his way.

"Well, isn't that cute?" Daguva said, kneeling down to Mepple who froze under his gaze. Placing a hand on top of the fairy's head, said fairy felt himself shiver under the Grongi's touch and gaze.

"So weak and small...it's disgusting." Daguva, with a frown, bluntly said as he grabbed Mepple by the head and stood up, bringing the struggling fairy up to his face.

"No! Leave him alone!" Honoka went to raise an arm, but that only sent a flare of pain through her that almost made her lose conscious.

"Now I don't have a problem with small things, really. If someone can find a way to turn that into a strength, then that's all good. But if they're so weak as to not be able to do just that, then it makes me want to kill them." Daguva said, squeezing Mepple's head just a little. For Mepple, it felt like his skull could get crushed at any moment, causing him to cry in pain.

"I hate the weak." Daguva stated, looking Mepple dead in the eye...before he then proceeded to throw the fairy back to Honoka who managed to catch him. "But I won't kill you."

"Eh?" Honoka and the fairies looked up at Daguva in confusion before the Grongi went up to Ilkubo and snatched the ball of darkness from his hand.

"Oi!" Ilkubo cried out in anger and went to take the ball back, but Daguva had already thrown it over to the three where Mepple promptly caught it.

"That's what you were fighting for before I arrived, right?" Daguva asked and the three simply nodded. "Then you can have it back."

"What!?" The three plus Ilkubo cried out in disbelief.

"Think of it as a reward as thanks for your friend in providing me with a good fight." Daguva said, pointing over to the unconscious Dai.

"What are you doing!?" Ilkubo shouted in rage, grabbing Daguva by the collar of his shirt. "That was a present for Dark King-sama! You dare give it to-!"

*GRAB!*

"Urk!" Ilkubo could say no more as Daguva grabbed the Dark General by his neck, squeezing the throat hard enough for Ilkubo to start gagging as the leader of the Grongi clan brought the Dark General to his knees.

"I think you're forgetting something here, Ilkubo. I answer to no one. Not to you, or the Dark King. A weakling like you has no right to tell me what I can or cannot do." Daguva said, staring coldly down at Ilkubo and reminding him why the Dark King was unable to punish him.

After a good minute, Daguva finally released Ilkubo, letting him take a moment to cough and collect himself.

"Come on, we're leaving." Daguva said as he turned to leave, but not before looking over at the unconscious Dai. With a smile, he said, "Until next time, Kuuga." With that, Daguva soon took his leave with Ilkubo reluctantly following him. Once they were gone did the rainstorm slowly subside until it was no more.

"They're gone." Honoka said. Just like that, their enemies had left.

"I can't believe we're still alive-mepo." Mepple said, laying against Honoka's arms as he held the ball of darkness.

"Mepple, are you okay-mipo?" Mipple asked worriedly.

"Well, I still have my head, so I think so-mepo." Mepple said before the ball of darkness in his hands started pulsing.

*BA-DUMP!*

"Mepo?"

*BA-DUMP!*

*BA-DUMP!*

*BA-DUMP!*

Then, after a few more minutes of just beating like a heart, cracks started to form until the ball of darkness exploded into pieces and a rainbow of color bursts out, spiraling into the sky before it came down like light rain, a complete contrast to the heavy rain from earlier. As it rained, Honoka and the unconscious Nagisa glowed for a brief moment before it vanished.

"This is...?"

"The Power of Light must have returned to you-mepo." Mepple said.

"It's...warm." Honoka commented. A warm feeling washed over her, though it did little to lessen the pain in her right arm. Still, the warmth was comforting and Honoka would've been knocked out if it wasn't for Mipple.

"Honoka, get it together-mipo!" Mipple cried out, stopping Honoka was falling unconscious. "We still need to help Nagisa and Dai-mipo!"

"R-Right!" Honoka's eyes felt heavy as fatigue washed over her. With the excitement now over, the adrenaline in Honoka was wearing off, making the pain in her arm much worse. Quickly, she took out her phone which had somehow survived through all the excitement and dialed 119. It took a good while for a line to get through, but once it did, Honoka quickly asked for help before her wounds began to take their toll and she promptly fell unconscious.

(Later, Hospital)

The rays of the setting sun broke through the open windows, casting the room in an orange color. Feeling the warmth of the rays wash over him, the eyes of Ichi Dai slowly opened and he found himself staring up at a white ceiling.

"Where...?"

"Ah! Ichi-kun!" Hearing a familiar voice, Dai turned his head to the right and saw Honoka beside him.

"Honoka...chan?" Dai spoke softly, his voice hoarse and dry. He went to get up only to wince as pain flashed through him.

"Don't move! You're still recovering." Honoka said before she moved over to a stand next to him and poured him some water. As she was doing so, Dai realized that he was resting in a bed, a hospital bed, and that Honoka's right arm was wrapped in bandages and in a sling.

"Here, drink this." Honoka helped Dai up as best she could since she only one arm available and gave him the glass of water.

"Thank you." Dai said, taking the glass and drinking the entire thing in two gulps. He thanked Honoka again as he handed back the glass and soon saw that he was covered in bandages. He was at first confused until the memories came rushing back to him.

"Daguva!" Dai looked around in alarm, as if expecting the Grongi to suddenly appear before him.

"Ichi-kun! Ichikun, calm down!" Honoka said, using her only good arm to try and calm down the Rider who soon did.

"What...what happened?" Dai asked, taking deep breathes.

"Well...we lost." There was no other way Honoka could have said it. Both her and Nagisa's powers were taken and Dai had been knocked unconscious. They had lost, no two ways about it.

"We lost." Dai repeated, taking a moment to process that. "We lost...yet we're still alive."

"Yeah." Honoka nodded, thinking back to that day. "You told us that Daguva was strong, but...I never expected him to be that strong."

"Yeah, I know what you mean." Dai said. He knew the leader of the Grongi clan was strong, but to this level? Granted, the only proper fight he saw of Daguva was his death match with Godai Yusuke and even then, the fight had ended up a slug fest until one gave out to the other.

"What's worse is...he wasn't at full power."

"Eh?" Honoka looked at Dai in disbelief. "No, that can't be!"

"It's true." Dai said with certainty. "I don't know what happened during the end of my fight with him, but I saw him grow his arm. The way it looked showed me that he's still incomplete.

"Incomplete?" Honoka repeated, confused.

"I guess I never told you." Dai said, scratching the back of his head before explaining. "Daguva as two forms. His Imperfect form and his Perfect form. His Imperfect form is when Daguva doesn't have his Amadam Stone fixed as a few pieces of it are missing. His Perfect form is when his Amadam is fixed and complete, giving him access to his full, true powers."

"No way." Honoka could hardly believe it. Daguva had shown just how powerful he was, showing off just exactly why he was the leader of all Grongi. And yet, to hear that he wasn't showing off his true powers scared Honoka to no end.

"I know." Dai said, honestly scared of Daguva now for he knew, eventually, he'll have to fight that monster again.

"At least...at least you're alright." Honoka said, trying to look at the bright side of things.

"Yeah, I guess." Dai shrugged, not sure how to feel right now. His eyes then suddenly widen as he remembered something and looked around before looking at Honoka.

"Honoka-chan, where's Nagisa-chan?" At Dai's question did Honoka look away. Ignoring the pain, Dai got up and grabbed Honoka by the shoulder, forcing her to look at him.

"Honoka-chan, where is Nagisa-chan!? Is she okay? Is she..." A feeling of dread came over Dai and he waited for Honoka to answer him.

Gently, Honoka removed Dai's hands away from her before getting up and moving the curtains that surrounded his bed aside, showing that there was another bed situated right next to his. When Dai saw who was resting in the bed, he felt his heart stop.

It was Nagisa, bandaged up and hooked to an IV with an oxygen mask over her. Resting by her pillow was Mepple in his phone form.

"You and her have been unconscious for three days. I woke up on the second." Honoka informed Dai as Mipple popped out form her pocket, not saying a word.

Dai looked at Nagisa before looking Honoka, more specifically at her bandaged arm. Then, it all came back to Dai. Nagisa getting stabbed, him turning into Kuuga's Amazing Mighty Form, his finisher colliding with Daguva's fist and burning Honoka in the process.

"Mmm..." Suddenly, a noise came from Nagisa as she started to stir, alarming Mepple by her side as he transformed into his true form.

"Nagisa!" Honoka instantly went over to her side before Dai suddenly fell down from his bed. "Ichi-kun!"

Dai ignored the pain he was in. He tore off the cords connected to him and crawled over to Nagisa's bed. Honoka helped him up and tried to bring him back to his bed, but the Rider pushed her off and stumbled over to Nagisa. By the time he got there, the girl had finally awoken.

Blinking her eyes slowly, Nagisa looked around in confusion until she saw Dai, Honoka, and the fairies.

"Minna(Everyone)...?"

"Nagisa! Thank goodness you're okay-mepo!" Mepple cried out happily.

"I don't feel okay." Nagisa muttered. Her gut and back hurt, and they stung whenever she tried to move.

Suddenly, she felt a hand grabbing her's and she looked down to see Dai gripping her left hand tightly.

"Dai-kun?" The boy placed both of his hands over her left hand and squeezed tightly. Then, from his eyes, tears started to fall as he began to apologize.

"Gomen'nasai(I'm sorry)...gomen'nasai..."

"Sorry? Why are you sorry?" Nagisa asked, her voice hoarse. Yet Dai still kept apologizing.

"Gomen'nasai...gomen'nasai...gomen'nasai..."

Seeing that he wasn't going to be stopping anytime soon, Nagisa reached over and placed her other hand on top of his and whispered gently.

"Hey now...it's alright...you don't have to apologize for what happened." Yet the Rider continued to do just that. He continued apologizing as his bangs covered his eyes, but they could not hide the tears.

And so, as the group did their best to comfort one another, they dwelled on the fact that for the first time, they had lost.

And...done! Boom! Four days! That's how long it took me complete this plus an extra day to correct some stuff. Now to you readers, it was longer, but like I mentioned earlier, finished my college semester and now have free time on my hands. Now then, about this chapter.

Whew wee! What a chapter it was. It turned out just the way I wanted it too so I'm quite happy with this one. Granted, the group lost which didn't happen in the original episode, but I decided to change that. And with someone like Daguva appearing so suddenly, you damn well bet the outcome was gonna change! I'll be honest and say that I had some fun writing him.

Now I bet you're all wondering why I decided to bring Daguva and beat the ever living shit out of Dai as well as scar the girls because let's face it, after what just happened, people are gonna be asking questions. And I wanted this to happen. You see, the reason I did this was so I use this as a way to develop Dai more as a character. I personally feel that my character developing skills needs some work so that's why I had it so Dai and the girls lost today's fight. This way, I can strengthen the bonds the three have and help them get closer, more so for Dai and Nagisa since, you know, I'm pairing them and all.

As for scaring Nagisa and Honoka, think of this as my way of showing you that the changes I will make to this series will be big. For example, out of all the Pretty Cures, the plans I have for the girls of Yes! Pretty Cure 5 will challenge them mentally more so than for other Pretty Cure groups to the point where their beliefs might take a major change.

Anyway, no Pretty Cure Fun Facts for this chapter as I have nothing to talk about. I mean, I could talk about Daguva or Kuuga's Amazing Mighty form, but I'm saving those for later so, yeah. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed today's chapter, I had a great time writing it. Next time, it's Poisony's final stand as she makes one last attempt in getting the Prism Stones. Until then, this has been Ashbel Longhart here, signing out. Until the next ride.

Next Time: To Learn From Loss. Poisony's Desperate Last Stand!
