It was the next day at the fashion show and things were going off without a hitch. Afterwards, Gabriel and Adrien are in the hall of the Grand Palais, walking towards the Bourgeois.

"My dear Audrey, I heard about the unforgivable misfortune you had to endure." Audrey extends her hand out and Gabriel kisses it.

Audrey takes back her hand. "Oh, I'm still quite overwhelmed."

"I want you to know that I've fired the person who was responsible for the misunderstanding. Only one row in the house is befitting to Audrey Bourgeois and that's the first."

Audrey smirks at Gabriel's attention but then quickly shuts it down. "Let's not overdo it, huh Gabriel?"

Gabriel nods. "Did you enjoy the show?"

The Dupain-Cheng family approached the group of influential adults.

"So, so." Audrey murmured when she spotted an unusual hat on Adrien's head and took it, she recognized it as being made by that nervous girl with the pigtails. "This hat is not a "Gabriel Agreste". Are you responsible for that?"

"Uhm…" Marinette stammered and looked nervously at her parents. Her dad gave her a thumbs up. She then looks at Adrien.

"Stand proud!" He whispers to her.

"I… I'm the one who created it." Marinette flashes a nervous smile.

Gabriel nods and smiles at Audrey. "Marinette won a fashion design competition."

Audrey lifts her glasses to get a better look at the hat. "It's the most…"

Chloé gives a smug look. At least if her mom wouldn't pay attention to her, she'd at least get to see her roast Dupain-Cheng.

"…exceptional thing I've ever seen! You're a visionary, Marinette!" Chloé's face dropped. She couldn't believe her ears. Her mother hadn't said one nice thing about her since she got here and now she was singing the praises of Marinette of all people?

"Glitter's had its day. Feathers are the trend of tomorrow! I haven't felt this much emotion since… you." She looks adoringly at Gabriel.

Gabriel smiles at Marinette. "She does have talent."

"You wanna be a fashion designer, right?" Audrey asked.

Marinette also couldn't believe the harshest fashion critic in the world was being so nice to her. "Uh… Yes ma'am."

Audrey puts the hat back on Adrien's head. "Then come to New York with me! I'll make you the biggest name in fashion! I'm sure you'll even upstage Gabriel."

"I'll be able to model for you!" Adrien beamed.

"We'll be here for you honey, no matter what you decide!" Marinette's mom proudly said.

Audrey smiled at Marinette. "My helicopter will be leaving for the airport at 8 p.m. tonight." She declared, putting her glasses back on.

"Isn't this awesome for Marinette, Chloé?" Adrien asked. Chloé's anger boiled inside her hearing everyone talk about how amazing Marinette was. It wasn't even jealousy about Marinette's design skills. She was actually happy for Marinette. It was the fact that her own mother preferred to be with someone she barely just met rather than her own daughter.

"It's... It's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! I've never been to New York with you and you're taking Marinette Dupain-Cheng!?"

"I'm taking her because she's exceptional, Claudette. Uh— Chloé."

Chloé cringed upon hearing that word. Her mother had never used it to describe her. "I'm exceptional, too!"

Audrey scoffed. "The only exceptional thing about you, my dear… is your mother." This sentence elicited pity from everyone. Marinette, her parents, and Adrien look at each other, looking sympathetic to her.

André holds Chloé by the shoulder, to comfort her, "Audrey, dear-" Chloé pushes him away.

"Ugh! I'll show you how exceptional I can be!" If mom really thinks Dupain-Cheng is so great, just wait until she sees that I'm a superhero, unlike her. Chloé takes out the Miraculous Jewelry Box, she opens it, revealing a yellow, glowing orb.

Adrien screams "Chloé!"

Marinette lets out a "No!" before she quickly covers her mouth.

Gabriel gasps and Audrey lifts her glasses; Pollen emerges from the ball. All of them are shocked to see the kwami.

"How may I please you, my Queen?" Pollen asked

"What is that thing?" Audrey asked.

"Chloé… what are you doing?!" Adrien asked. Chloé throws her sunglasses away while putting the Hair comb in her hair. "Pollen, Buzz On!" Chloé started to transform. The gray hairpiece gained color, flashing a yellow and black bee pattern and a black ribbon formed in her hair. Her clothes changed into the skin tight yellow and black super suit as she held her hands upward. She used her hands to form a mask over her eyes, finished the pattern on her arms, and stood in a sassy pose. She backflips onto a Gabriel Agreste board.

"I am Chloé Bourgeois and from now on I'll be your new superhero, Queen Bee! We'll soon see if you think Dupain-Cheng is still more exceptional than moi! Spinning Top!" Queen Bee uses her Spinning Top to exit the Grand Palais similarly to how Ladybug uses her yo-yo.

After a while of using her spinning top to get around Paris, Queen Bee lands on the Roue of Paris, the famous Ferris Wheel of France. She looks down at the city to see nothing interesting happening, just citizens and tourists walking around Place de la Concorde. She had to find some way to impress her mother. Simply taking a superhero's form wasn't impressive enough. She had to save somebody. When she saw a subway entrance, it gave her an idea. If there was no trouble, she could secretly cause the trouble, then save them. Nobody will get hurt, and her mom will finally be impressed. The perfect plan.

She took her spinning top out and called Nadja Chamack. "Nadja Chamack? Chloé Bourgeois here. I mean, Queen Bee. Come ASAP; I'm about to rescue the passengers of a metro that's in peril. You've got to film this!"

She entered the subway and began climbing and walking along the side of the fast-moving train, something she couldn't do before without her super suit. She jumped into the driver's seat.

"Venom!" She yelled, using her power to paralyze the driver. Before he stopped moving, he held onto the accelerator for balance, causing the train to accelerate at an immense speed.

The passengers start freaking out about the speed when Chloé appears on the screen.

"Passengers, have no fear. Watch Queen Bee in action. You can thank me later." she smugly told the people.

She then jumps out in front of the train and tries pushing it back to make it stop. Alas, her superpowers didn't come with super strength. It only gave her agility and protection, meaning she was stuck in front of the train. She stood there for what seemed like forever as the train rushed past stop by stop.

Soon Ladybug and Cat Noir were there standing on the train looking at her.

"Need a helping paw?" Cat Noir asked.

"Sto-o-op sta-aring! Can't you se-e-e you're distracting me-e-e?" she said, her voice bumping as she slid across the tracks. Her Miraculous started beeping, meaning she used her power and that she'd transform back in a few minutes. Ladybug didn't want to think of what would happen to a normal human once she would lose the protection of the super suit.

"This is not a playground!" Ladybug warned. "Cat Noir, I'll slow it down as much as I can; you stop it!"

She ran off, jumping to the wall of the tunnel, as while wrapping her yo-yo around the train; the train slows down a bit. Cat Noir throws his staff in front of the metro and pulls Queen Bee up just in time. The train stops on his staff. the doors of the train open and Cat Noir stands outside on to lend a hand.

"Thanks for your co-operation, people. Please, keep on being pawsome and evacuate the station calmly." Cat Noir said, helping the trembling people off the train.

After that, someone thanked Cat Noir and Queen Bee, not knowing she's the one to cause the issue. Nadja Chamack was there to film everything "You're welcome, it was nothing! I was merely-"

"QUEEN BEE!" Ladybug yelled as she ran from the subway car. "This was your doing!"

"Oh, Ladybug, you're too kind! This was teamwork. Oh, how amazing is this? We're a team now!" She looked dreamily in the distance and imagined her mother, finally proud of her. Not to mention she was working with her idol.

"You're the one who paralyzed the metro driver, aren't you? You used your power to create this situation just to make yourself look good!" Fuck, she figured it out. She's smarter than I thought. Queen Bee looked scared to see her favorite hero angry at her and she was being filmed by the news. She had to deflect.

"Who cares? We saved them, didn't we?"

A passenger standing behind Cat Noir glared at her. "Completely irresponsible!"

Nadja Chamack was quick on her tail. Viewers were likely eating this up. "Queen Bee, or rather, Chloé Bourgeois, we're on the air with your mother, Audrey Bourgeois. Audrey, do you have anything to say, live, on TV?"

She held up a tablet showing Audrey video chatting. "What? Regarding my daughter's ineptitude? I think it speaks for itself, doesn't it?" Queen Bee's face drops. Her plan failed completely.

Ladybug was still pissed and held her hand out. "Chloé. Give me back your Miraculous."

"Finders keepers, losers weepers!" She held her hands up to the Miraculous to protect it.

"Did you… lose a Miraculous?" asked Cat Noir.

Ladybug stammered. "Uh…" She takes Cat Noir by the hand to lead him away from the camera; whispering to him and Queen Bee took the opportunity to sneak away.

She used her spinning top to land on the balcony of her room. Tired, she looked down at the ground, defeated and hurt. Her Miraculous continued beeping. She got on her knees and almost started crying when an akuma entered her Miraculous, and her despair turned into anger.

Hawk Moth's voice echoed in Queen Bee's head. "Queen Wasp, I am Hawk Moth. Ladybug and Cat Noir don't want you as their friend, so you will be their most powerful enemy. Nobody has managed it yet, but you will defeat them, because you are… exceptional. In return you must seize their Miraculous."

Queen Bee couldn't resist. "You can count on me, Hawk Moth. I'll teach them to respect me."

Suddenly Chloé was no longer herself, now she was Queen Wasp.

Weirdly enough, Chloé herself didn't remember a thing that happened after her akuatization, similarly to when she was Antibug.

The next thing Queen Bee remembered was that she was underwater with a snorkel on her mouth, tied to a floaty on the top of the water so she could breathe. Her Miraculous had been cataclysmed and she transformed back to Chloé again. She looked at the heroes, then at the rusty, broken Miraculous as it floated in the water, holding it, devastated as she realized she had been akumatized.

Cat Noir held Chloé and both the heroes jumped onto the stone path on the side of the Seine.

"No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma." Ladybug opens her yo-yo and prepares to catch the akuma. "Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

The Miraculous Cure spreads out, fixing the Bee Miraculous. Ladybug & Cat Noir fist bump. "Pound it!"

Ladybug turned to her. "I have to get the Miraculous back, Chloé." A news van pulled up behind them. Whatever happened, Nadja Chamack was still on their tails. That lady will do anything for ratings.

Chloé gives her a desperate look. "Give me a second chance, please!"

Nadja approaches with her cameraman, holding a tablet with Audrey on it, video chatting again. "Audrey Bourgeois, tell us live how you feel about what just happened."

Audrey sneered. "According to me, Chloé just clearly demonstrated that there is nothing exceptional about her." She said to every screen in Paris. Chloé looks down, her eyes narrowing and her brows furrowing in sadness. It was the most emotional that Marinette had ever seen here. A different kind of upset. She wasn't angry. She was heartbroken.

Cat Noir put his hand on Chloé's shoulder. "I know that you did the things you did to impress your mother." Chloé gives him a sad look.

"Anyone can make mistakes, even a superhero." Ladybug explained. "What matters is how you fix them. I personally made one by losing that Miraculous. Don't make the mistake of not giving it back. Act like a hero."

"And show everyone how exceptional you can be." Cat Noir smirked.

Chloé looked at her Miraculous, then at the heroes, still with that heartbroken look on her face. Clearly I shouldn't be doing this. Mom will never learn. Then she handed Ladybug the Miraculous.

Ladybug smiled. "Thank you."

As the duo was about to run off, Chloé stopped them. "Ladybug? Cat Noir? I'm sorry." Chloé then smiled. The cameraman moves closer to her.

The duo smiled at her proudly and then they ran off.

Chloé walked home to the Grand Paris Hotel. She went to her room, upset. She didn't expect a knock on her door, from Marinette of all people.

"Go away!" she yelled.

"That was the plan, but no," Marinette giggled. Chloé opened the door.

"Dupain-Cheng?" She was confused.

"Hi Chloé, I saw what you did on the news. Giving your Miraculous back to Ladybug was a very noble thing for you to do."

"Whatever. Shouldn't you be off to New York with my mom by now?" Chloé asked. "You know, since you're so much better and more exceptional than me."

"Chloé, after seeing the way your mom treated you, there's no way I would spend my time with her. In fact, I was on my way to decline her offer, but I wanted to make sure you were okay first."

Chloé was surprised. Someone did care about her. And it was Marinette of all people. The girl she had been mocking and teasing for four years, the girl who she rivaled with all this time so that she could win over Adrien instead of her. The girl she would make fun of for being less rich than her.

Marinette, despite all of her troubles and tribulations with Chloé over the years, was reaching out.

"Thank you Marinette…" Chloé let her face fall into her arms and sobbed. "But no, I'm not okay! My own mother doesn't even love me! She literally humiliated me on live television in front of everyone! She's never been there for me my whole life."

"Oh Chloé, I'm so sorry." Marinette held onto Chloé tight. "I can't even imagine what that's like."

"It's awful…" Chloé sniffed, then stood back awkwardly. "But it's nice I know that you care for me."

"I do, Chloé. Even if you were mean to me, I think everyone has the potential to do good."

Chloé looked down for a second. "I want to confront her, could you go with me?"

Marinette and Chloé made their way to the Tuileries Gardens where Audrey was standing next to a helicopter waiting for Marinette.

Audrey saw Marinette approaching. "Well, well. It's about time. We can take off now."

Marinette shook her head. "I won't be coming to New York with you. I still have so many things to do here. All the people I love are here: my parents, my friends."

Audrey was surprised. "You're making a mistake, Marinette."

"I think you're wrong. A huge part of your life is here in Paris, too." Marinette stepped to the side to reveal Chloé behind her.

"Chlorine? Uh— Chloé?" her mom stammered.

Chloé looks at her mother, then at Marinette in a guilty manner, then back at her mom. "Why don't you love me, Mom?"

"I've already told you dear, you're not exceptional. Do you think the Queen of Fashion has the time to deal with the affairs of her family? I can barely remember your name, Carla- uh Chloé, that's how utterly unexciting and unimportant I find you."

"Well," Chloé growled. "If that's the way you want to play it, then fine, you're utterly useless to me too, Mom. I don't even want you here. Go to New York without me!"

"Glad to see we're on the same page then, Caline, uh, Chloé. Now I have a career to get back to." Audrey replied. "Marina, are you sure you don't want to come with me? This can be a once in a lifetime opportunity."

"I don't think so, I'm going to stay here and hang out with my friend, Chloé ." Marinette said, and then the two walked away. Audrey left in her helicopter, so perplexed as to how this poor baker girl could choose to spend time with her daughter instead of becoming a fashion designer in New York with her.

Back at Chloé's room, Marinette and Chloé decided to have a sleepover with all of Marinette's girl friends to celebrate the fact that Chloé was actually nice. Alya, Alix (who was still a bit apprehensive over Chloé but had an open mind), Mylène, Juleka, Rose, and even Sabrina all came over. They watched movies, gave each other makeovers, and talked about life.

Chloé took Sabrina aside when everyone else went to bed in their sleeping bags. "Sabrina, I've realized that I've treated you in the same way my mother was treating me. Like complete garbage. Marinette showed me how to actually treat a friend. Could you forgive me?"

"Of course Chloé," Sabrina hugged Chloé for a long time.

"You don't have to do my homework for me anymore Sabrina," Chloé smiled. "We should do something… Together."

"I'd like that very much Chloe." Sabrina said.

The two put on their pajamas and went to bed, sleeping in Chloé's queen sized bed. Chloé gave her a hug just before drifting off to sleep, appreciative of her new friends.
