Author's Note: Helloo, children!

Thanks very much to all of you who reviewed the first chapter of this story. I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far :-D

Up next: Cat's first Christmas wish, which involves a little 'naughtiness' ;-D

Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Sadly, I do not own Victorious, the zany plots or the characters. If I did, more characters that made cameos in the show would've stuck around longer.

#1

Robbie stood in the middle of the Northridge Mall, gazing apprehensively at the scene before him.

It was the first day of helping Cat fulfill her Christmas wishes and so far, nothing was even happening yet.

Robbie stood a few paces away from Cat, who stood in front of Tara Ganz, both girls folding their arms and glaring with open hostility at each other.

They'd been doing that for 5 minutes already with nothing but water from the wishing well gurgling in the distance.

The high school student glanced at his watch and sighed.

When he agreed to spend 12 days in succession with Cat, he imagined they'd be doing more than just 'Mean Girl stuff' in the middle of a crowded shopping mall.

Despite the bizarreness of the situation, he admired the Christmas baubles glittering off the glass panes of various stores and scores of silver angels swinging from the high domed cathedral-esque ceilings.

"Cat Valentine."

"Tara Ganges."

"Ganz."

"Sorry."

"You look like a hippo in that dress."

"You look like bush peas in a Caesar salad."

"Ok, ladies." Robbie plastered his most charming on his face while stepping cautiously towards the two girls. "I'm sure you both have more important things to do than relive the fun times we had at Karaoke Dokey two years ago. Cat, don't you have something you want to say to Tara?" he asked pointedly of his best friend.

Cat shot Robbie a sheepish grin which twisted his insides like a pretzel. "You're right, Robbie. Tara…I'm sorry."

If there was one thing Tara Ganz hadn't been expecting to hear from her arch-nemesis, it was that. She looked at Cat with a quizzical expression and asked, "What are you doing?"

"I'm serious," Cat pressed. "Look, shots were fired on both sides for years-"

"Which Jade started!"

"Actually, Hayley started it when she hit on Beck right in front of me!"

"Beck wasn't dating you, he was dating Jade!"

"And Jade's my best friend! It was a chizzy thing to do, and you know it!"

"Whatever. You're just jealous that Hayley and I schooled you and Jade at karaoke!"

"Hayley's dad owns Karaoke Dokey – it was totally rigged!"

"Ladies!" Robbie trilled.

It was a technique he often adopted to stop people from fighting around him. It worked on his grandparents - and they fought exclusively about toilets and sandwiches.

Cat took a deep, cleansing breath. "I'm tired of all this fighting. Aren't you?"

Tara smiled spitefully at Cat. "Not at all. I can keep the feud going for 10 more years."

Cat rolled her eyes and stepped excruciatingly closer to Tara till the blonde squirmed with discomfort.

"You really are making this difficult, Tara. All of this wazziness wouldn't have happened if you just accepted I wasn't going to tell anyone about 'your little secret'. Now you're making me do something really chizzy: forgive you."

"Stop, you don't know what you're saying," Tara's eyes bugged out when Cat retrieved a sprig of fresh mistletoe from her purse. "Why do you have that?"

"Cat, are you sure you want to do this in front of so many people?" Robbie's palms were sweaty with anxiety.

It didn't help that an elderly woman who looked like his grandmother and her gaggle of grandchildren were standing nearby.

Cat's eyes remained fastened on Tara. "I'm sure, Robbie. Don't fight the Christmas love, Ganz."

"Noooooooo-"

Tara's shrieks were drowned out the second Cat's lips landed on hers. Despite having a skinny physique, Cat wrapped her hands like cords of steel around the slightly taller girl, a plural of lips and hands melting into a sensual singularity.

Sure enough, the old woman and her gaggle of grandchildren nearest started making a scene.

And yet, Robbie couldn't tear his eyes away from the tantalising scene.

There was no love lost between Robbie and Tara since he associated her with the time he, Beck and Andre were forced to take care of Trina when she got her wisdom tooth removed. And all because Tori left them there to go to Karaoke Dokey and prove that Hollywood Arts students sang better than the untalented grunches at Northridge High, which Tara and Hayley attended.

With that said, even Robbie couldn't deny that Tara looked less evil when in the arms of another beautiful girl. For some reason, kissing provided her with a brazen kind of vulnerability. He idly wondered whether there was ever any true rivalry between Tara and Cat to begin with, and if they'd disliked each other on principle because of Jade and Hayley's feud.

They both seemed to like kissing each other a whole lot.

A blinding flash went off and Tara finally shoved Cat away. "What the chizz was that, Valentine?!"

Cat wiped moisture from her mouth and grinned slyly at her arch-nemesis. "That was payback for all the chizz you've pulled on me over the years. Now that you know what it feels like to finally kiss another girl - go and do something about it."

And with that, Cat led Robbie away before mall security converged on them amidst the gaggle of onlookers.

"Seriously, what the chizz was that about?" Robbie asked of Cat as they held hands and headed for the nearest exit.

"I saw Tara kissing Hayley Ferguson in the alley behind Karaoke Dokey a year ago."

"What?! Tara and Hayley are…female-friendly?"

Cat smiled, albeit a little sadly. "I don't know for sure about Hayley, but Tara definitely is. That's why she hates me so much, because I told her I wouldn't tell anyone about what I saw."

"But she bullied you this whole time and you let her! You could've busted her at any time."

"But I didn't, and it just wazzed her off even more. Now I finally got my revenge by humiliating her back and showing her that it's really not a big deal to be true to herself. Maybe now she'll finally be brave enough not to hide anymore."

"So you wanted to help her all along?" Robbie shook his head and laughed at Cat. "You are a special kind of snowflake, Valentine."

Cat smiled genuinely at her oldest friend and it set Robbie's pulse racing like a freight train. "That flash which went off just before I stopped kissing Tara was totally you, right?" she asked in a business-like tone.

Robbie blushed crimson and waved his Pearphone at Cat, which made her laugh hard. "No one would believe you kissed Tara Ganz without proof. Plus, I thought you might want a souvenir."

Cat giggled and linked arms with Robbie while crossing over a busy intersection.

Author's Note: Hee hee, I told you Cat was naughty in this chapter.

*giggles more*

*clears throat awkwardly*

A warm welcome to Tara Ganz to the story. She and Hayley Ferguson first appeared in the Victorious season 1 episode - 'Freak The Freak Out'. They were the two mean girls Jade, Cat and Tori battled against at Karaoke Dokey. Tara appears again later in the series for a brief cameo in her audition for the Platinum Music Awards, in which she sings just as badly as before ;-)

I thought it would be fun for Cat to have an arch-nemesis. That's if our red-headed cinnamon roll is even capable of hatred like us lesser mortals :-P As I said before, Cat is a little out of character in this fic, but hopefully you'll enjoy her shenanigans.

This story will revolve mostly around Cat and Robbie, but their friends and classmates will make an appearance eventually.

I'll post the next two wishes sometime on Sunday. Thanks again for reading - take care and stay safe during the pandemic 3 Pip pip cheerio!
