Please PM me to tell me what you think if I decided to use an idea I had in my head of Lincoln becoming Freakazoid in a new story.
A week had passed and Lincoln wouldn't call it a week of hell since it was actually more like a week in Hell, Lincoln sighed thinking that even Luan would have booed at that joke. It was becoming bearable and it was mostly because of Charlie and Vaggie who were nothing but kind and welcoming to him. Whenever he was starting to have a nightmare, they would both rush in to check on him like concerned parents, embracing him warmly while they did their best to soothe him and Charlie would read him a bedtime story (the bedtime stories from Hell were like stories that Lucy would like). Despite being physically in their early 20s (with that was how old Vaggie had been when she had died), they did feel like parents to Lincoln and it did make him feel kind of guilty to Lincoln that he was thinking of replacements for his parents while in Hell.
Angel Dust wasn't too bad compared to most demons outside of the Hotel (reason why he spent most of his time in there) and was becoming like an uncle to Lincoln, an uncle that your parents didn't want you to spend time around. Speaking of uncles, Alastor seemed determined to have a foot in the door regarding his great-great nephew's stay in Hell despite the misgivings of Charlie and especially Vaggie.
Charlie had smiled as she had put up a framed picture of her, Vaggie and Lincoln smiling while at her father's amusement park Loo Loo World from the previous day. Lincoln had his face painted red and black with fake ears done by Angel Dust to disguise him as a demon along with clothing for a young imp, in regards to Vaggie's concerns about if more demons found out about the human child. Vaggie had to give Angel credit in that the disguise was good and he didn't really stick out and a good time was had with the three.
Charlie's pet bodyguards Razzle and Dazzle had really taken a shine to Lincoln as well and they had wordlessly let her know that should anything happen they would be more than glad to act as bodyguards for him as well.
Charlie then heard the door being knocked and answered it to find her father Lucifer and happily greeted him, "Hello Dad! If you were hear you to check up on Lincoln then he has been a blast to have a round and he has been getting on well!" Charlie told Lucifer who smiled at her and then sighed concerning her.
"That's great to hear Charlie and I do hope to warn you about being prepared for what you are about to learn. You see your godmother Deerie had a copy of Lincoln's file delivered to me and I want you to have it. Quite concerning..." Lucifer told her with her eyes widening oddly as Lucifer then gave her the huge stacked file as she began looking it over.
Her eyes and faces gave to all levels of shock, outrage and horror; "real funny early April Fool's Day Joke dad. I mean this can't possibly be real and must be fake or at least exaggerated..." Charlie told him with pleading in her eyes as he signed and put a hand on her shoulder.
"I know that I have not been the best father to you Charlie and I don't really think I deserve those Hell's Best Dad mugs you have gotten me so I can speak from experience that you can hurt your family without meaning to. Plus there are plenty of humans who are wilfully ignorant of the harm they do to their family members or do know and just don't care." Lucifer told her as he then took his leave.
A week had passed since the Loud family had seen Lincoln.
The Loud parents had not been happy when they had gotten home with the twins to learn about what had happened, Lori accepted the scolding and grounding that came her way without complaint. Their concern over Lincoln grew as he didn't come home that night, calls to his phone went unanswered and none of his friends had a clue as to where he could be.
The Loud family were frantic as they had contacted the authorities and the Loud children had all helped with flyers and posters begging for leads and they had gotten help from their friends. Lisa was hard at working hacking into satellites and surveillance feeds to get a clue.
Lori with her guilt was taking it the worse which was no small victory if you could even call it one, time spent on her phone normally reserved for calls with Bobby were instead spent of persistent calls to Lincoln trying to plead and bargain for him to come home. Making promises like a free ride no strings attached whenever he needed or just wanted to go somewhere, no more threats as to what would happen if he came to her room and she would make sure that he had first use of the bathroom in the morning.
Luan was certainly using the same idea wanting to promise a lifetime get out of pranking card for Lincoln. Lucy was also taking it bad actually sighing instead of saying the word as she was feeling sad and in not in the goth and darkness way.
Lynn on the 4th day ended up going through Lincoln's stuff for clues and found a journal, despite scolding from their parents about the idea they ended up looking into it and were shocked. Lincoln had been using it to vent whenever he felt that he was outnumbered and his opinion was tossed aside in the house. Venting about whenever Lynn would roughhouse him too much and whenever Lori would abuse her older sister privileges. There were comments about how he had to admit he wished he was away from the house at times but could never runaway.
Lori was open mouthed and spent the rest of the day depressed convinced that Lincoln had run away and her shouting that she wished that didn't have a brother sometimes was the straw that broke the camel's back. The family did her best to comfort her and the next day Lori sparked a determination to do what it takes to not only find and bring Lincoln back but make it up to him.
Lincoln had been sitting on a couch going over photos that he had recently made in Hell along with others saved on him, Vaggie came over and he started showing her them which Alastor took as an open invitation to invite himself in to view the photos related to his family. The current one was him and his sisters in front of Vanzilla.
"Here is me thinking that big families like that living under one roof was a thing off the past." laughed Vaggie while Alastor was about to ask questions about his great-great nieces when he noticed the van.
"Yeah, Vanzilla which is quite old and Lana fixes it up when it has problems." Lincoln explained with them blinking about a young child being the family mechanic. "Has been in my family since my dad's grandfather... Who would be your brother Alastor." Lincoln continued on realising as Alastor's eyes widened as he took a closer look.
"Are you kidding, that hunk of junk is still standing and in your family? I bought that car myself for Alex my brother and it was ten years used. I bought it as kind of a joke and I fully expected it to break down and be sold for parts soon after that." Alastor said incredulously with them laughing at that. Lincoln ended zipping through other pictures and there was one in the squirrel suit from one of the events that he had to attend as a good luck charm.
"Did you lose a bet?" Vaggie asked stopping herself from giggling but then noticed Lincoln looking away and was concerned. "Something wrong Lincoln?" Vaggie asked hesitatingly as Charlie entered the area with the folder looking down.
She sat herself down next to Lincoln and pulled him in getting him to meet her eye and asked "Lincoln, can you please be honest with me: how is your life with your family on Earth?" Charlie asked sounding serious and Lincoln was nervous about where she was going with this but then Alastor had taken the file from her and opened it up.
His eyes widened as he said "Lost bet? Vagatha, it says here that for quite some time Lincoln had to stay in the stuffy thing for some time and that was after he had gotten kicked out of the house for being 'bad luck'! Going along with it and encouraging for some peace time doesn't really deserves such punishment if you ask me."
Lincoln gulped as Vaggie then had her mouth open wide and had taken the file to look at it, "thrown out of the van onto the street over a stupid radio contest, getting you to go on a date with your bully, your room taken from you for some stupid protocol, painful roughhousing and pranks that could and actually should have killed you! It says that Heaven had actually assigned you a Guardian Angel meant to keep you safe in the house!" Vaggie said as the eyes were on Lincoln.
"I feel... Conflicted to be honest, I feel like if they were more wilfully cruel then I could at least respect that but this seems more like being ignorant of their cruelty. On the bright side I feel that I will have plenty of time to get to know my great-great nieces when they arrive here since it seems that they could be on the track." Alastor said and this had gotten Lincoln angry.
"Come on Alastor, which was out of line! My sisters are good people and they love me!" Lincoln shouted but then noticed while they didn't like his words Charlie and Vaggie weren't on their feet to argue against what Alastor had said. "Come on everyone, trust me we all love eachother in the family. Maybe wild but I wouldn't trade it for the world: duck, dodge, push and shove is how we show our love in the Loud House!" Lincoln continued on as they then sighed and Alastor just shook his head.
"Doesn't exactly sound like the most healthy environment for you Lincoln. I am all for murder but accidental killing or serious injury from an overboard prank or pain from the Lynn Jr just seems irresponsible and just kind of dumb at the best." Alastor said as Vaggie came forward.
"Lincoln, trust me as I am not happy at all to say this but Alastor is right. Believe me I trust you in that they may mean well and don't think they are being harmful to you Lincoln but they are now. Do you understand what kind harm that could have come to you when you had been kicked out for a stupid superstition?" Vaggie asked and Lincoln looked down.
"You think that I can have some time to myself to think all this over please?" Lincoln asked and they nodded.
"Take as much time as you need Lincoln." Charlie told him softly as they got up and gave him some space. There was an open window and some demons that were listening and snickering at the stupid poor child only for Alastor to appear behind him and open his mouth wide open enough to fit all of them in...
Again I must ask you not review if you are going to bring up something inappropriate like a Hazbin/Helluva character being interested in Lincoln. I may pair him with a girl from the Loud House.
I have to admit I was trying to be careful in writing Alastor in the last bit, since I think the sister' treatment of Lincoln wouldn't bother him as much if they were actually actively malicious.
