All mistakes are mine.

Coming back to the present, I can't believe I still have memories as clear as I currently do, no one should hold on this long to someone who did this much damage to them.

As I stand up I realize, I should not be the one hiding, eating lunch in their own house, if anyone it should be him. This is an amazing opportunity for someone as young as me, and I'll be damned if Professor Fuckface will ruin it.

As I get myself to campus, I remind myself that I should be focusing on doing amazing classes and not what he may think of me.

Getting to my door, I spot Professor Whitlock leaving his own office.

"Bella, it is so nice to see you again. You're all grown up now." he says as he goes in for a hug.

I awkwardly accept it and realize that Jasper was always very kind to me, and I should not judge him for who he keeps around as his friends.

"It's good to see you too, Professor Whitlock"

"Oh come on, call me Jasper, we're colleagues now." he laughs.

He's right, we're finally standing in the same ground, that's refreshing for a change.

"It's good to have you back around, you were always so full of life. Are you ready for party Dr. Volturi is throwing for you?" he asks excitedly.

As if I could forget it, the day I signed my contract Aro did tell me he'd do a small gathering to celebrate my arrival to the academia, well the arrival of all the new professors.

"I don't know if I'm prepared but I'll definitely be there." I give him a small smile.

"Excellent! I'll introduce you to my wife. Alice, she's Edward's sister. She'll love you" he says kindly. "I have to go, I'm running late to class. Bye neighbour" he waves goodbye.

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Jasper either is completely ignoring the fact that I'm Edward's least favorite person or he thinks time has healed all the wounds. Second, I need to convince Rose to help me find the best outfit for that night. And third, Alice would not be the only wife I would meet that evening.

AN. I know, it's cliché, but I couldn't help myself.

Reviews give me energy and help me not feel like a fool, see you tomorrow!
