Chapter 3
(Naruto and Will's apartment, 8:00am)
After waking up, they both had a shower and got dressed into their clothes, then went and had some breakfast which was some cereal, orange juice and toast with their Digimon joining them.
They then both cleaned their teeth, before they went and packed their bags with all their school gear, and then left the apartment. Their Digimon wanted to go with them, in case a wild Digimon appeared with Naruto telling them it was fine, as long as they stayed out of sight since they didn't want to cause a panic.
The four Digimon gave nods of agreement, and promised that they'd only appear when a wild Digimon made an appearance. They then walked down to the garage, where the bikes were and opened up the door.
Naruto turned to Will, and asked her "So who wants to drive to school today, and drop the other off?"
Will gained a thoughtful look, as she said "We could have you drive, and pick me up after school."
"What about us?" Agumon asked, with his arm raised.
Suddenly Naruto and Will's Digivices glowed, and sucked up the Digimon into their respective Tamers Digivice
"Must be a type of function, so we can carry you around without any questions" Naruto said, with a smile on his face, as that would make things so much easier for them.
"You guys comfortable in there?" Will asked, looking at her Digivice.
"\Yea, it's actually pretty roomy and comfortable in here\" Gatomon said, with BlackGatomon nodding in agreement.
"\There's food in here!\" Agumon yelled from Naruto's Digivice, in an excited voice.
Naruto shook his head, at how one of his Digimon was always hungry and the other wasn't as hungry.
"\Hey! Save some for me!\" Gabumon yelled.
"Just make sure that you keep the noise down, as we don't want to have to explain the voices and noises coming from you guys" Will said.
"Yea, she's going to a private school. So she can't draw attention to herself, okay" Naruto said, with a teasing grin as he got on his motorcycle.
Will just rolled her eyes at him, as she got on behind him. "Why am I going there again?" she asked him, as they put their helmets on.
"The school I'm going to only has room for me, and plus having you at this school gives us an excuse to bug Rika" Naruto said with a smile at her.
"Ah that's her school huh?" Will asked with a smile at Naruto, as she could tell he liked her a bit. Not that she blamed him, as she found her cute too.
Will just sighed in a good natural manner, before saying "This place have a uniform?" she asked him.
Naruto nodded, "Yup, they will be giving you your uniform when you get there."
Will nodded, before saying "And would you also be getting a uniform from your school?"
Naruto just gave her a cheeky grin, before gesturing at himself saying "You're looking at me wearing it."
"I expect you to buy me an ice cream sundae later," Will grumbled at him, as she crossed her arms with a pout.
"Done, now let's go otherwise we will be late" Naruto said, as they took off.

(Front of Will's school)
It took Naruto about 30 minutes to get to Will's new school.
As they parked in front of the open gates to the school, Will noticed that the other students were looking at them and Will noticed something.
"This is an all girls high school?" Will asked Naruto, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, I can't have my girl being tempted by other guys right?" Naruto asked her with a grin.
Will rolled her eyes, and kissed Naruto on the cheek. "Get to school, you goof" she said with a smile, which caused her fellow students to start whispering about her.
Naruto gave her a kiss on the cheek too, and once Will had climbed off he revved the engine a bit before driving off. Will just shook her head, thinking "Boys will always be boys."
She then turned around, and walked into the school passing those that were pointing and whispering about her. She saw Rika nearby, and winked at her which made Rika turn red in surprise, and made some girls that were nearby gossip even more.
Will just ignored them, as she entered the main building. She looked around, before seeing some signs that were in Japanese and English. After finding the one that would lead her to the main office, she took off in that direction.
After walking for a few minutes, she came to the door to the office and she knocked on the door.
"Enter," a woman's voice said, in an authoritative tone of voice.
Will turned the handle, and saw a woman in her mid thirties sitting behind the desk.
"Ah, you must be Miss Vandom, our newest student and an American at that" she said, as she looked at Will over her glasses.
"That won't be a problem will it?" Will asked her.
"No no, of course not. As principal, I won't tolerate any bad behaviour and that includes anyone being bullied for being American," the woman said. As she stood up, as she said "My name is Miss Hatsume, and I welcome you to our school. Here is your uniform, and please tell your boyfriend to keep his bike off of school grounds."
Will gave a nod, as she said "Oh don't worry Miss Hatsume, he isn't one of those biker hooligans that you hear about."
"Good to know," Miss Hatsume said, with a sigh of relief.
"Though I can't promise he won't prank someone, if they mess with me" Will said as an afterthought.
"Don't leave scars, my dear" Miss Hatsume said, with an almost pleading look.
"That I can promise," Will said with a smile.
Miss Hatsume nodded, before she took some papers from her desk and handed them to Will. "Here's your school timetable, and a map in case you get lost."
Will nodded as she took her uniform, schedule and map before she headed off to get changed, then to her first class.

(With Rika)
"Hey Rika, you know that new American student?" A girl asked her, as they sat down at their desks.
"No, we just met in passing," Rika said shortly.
"I don't know, that flirty wink she sent you said differently" another girl said with a giggle.
"F-flirty?" Rika asked in stutter, with a red face.
"Oh yea, I hear some American girls, let's just say go both ways," the girl said, as she giggled into her hand.
Rika's face went as red as her hair, hearing that as she stuttered out "Why would she be interested in me?" she asked.
"Well, I do have a thing for tomboys," Will said, as she came into the classroom, making her jump in surprise.
"Don't you have a boyfriend already?" a girl asked her, with a raised eyebrow.
Will shrugged, as she gave a smile saying "Yes I do, and he and I like to share."
This caused all the girls in the classroom to go bug eyed, before they gathered in small groups and gossiped about what they just heard.
Rika gave Will a glare, as she said "Nice going. Now the whole school will know about this by lunchtime."
"Good, now they know I have dibs on you" Will said teasingly.
Rika growled at her, showing just how unhappy she was.
"Oh relax red, I'm kidding…. Maybe" Will said, as she took her seat next to Rika.
"This is gonna be a long school year," Rika said, as she put her head in her hands.

(With Naruto)
After leaving Will's school, it had taken Naruto about 20 minutes to get to his school, which thankfully had a parking spot for his motorcycle.
After parking it, which caught the eyes of a few students, he walked into the school to find the main office. It didn't take him long to find it, and he gave a quick knock on the door.
"Come in," a man's voice called out.
Naruto entered the office, and saw a man of about 40 shuffling through some paperwork.
"Um, I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I'm here to check in for my first day and get my schedule," he said.
"Yes yes, I'm Mr Yamada and here's your schedule along with a map to help you get around," Mr Yamada said, as he found the pieces of paper for Naruto, before handing them over.
Naruto took the papers, and left the office.

(With Takato)
Takato was exhausted from his morning, which involved convincing Guilmon to stay in his hiding place at the park.
As he walked in the hallways, stifling a yawn as he went where he came across his friends, Kazu and Kenta.
"Hey Takato you hear the news, we have a new student coming in today" Kenta said.
Takato was surprised, as he shook his head saying "First I've heard of it."
"You think it'll be a pretty girl?" Kazu asked, as he fantasized about him and a faceless beautiful girl going on dates, and kissing on them.
Suddenly the classroom door opened, and Naruto entered. When Takato saw him, he almost jumped out of his seat in surprise.
"Ah you're here, good. Class, please welcome our new classmate, Naruto Uzumaki" the teacher said to everyone in the classroom..
Kazu's fantasy was abruptly shattered, as he dropped his head on his desk, crying anime tears.
"If you have any questions, ask now since we have a minute or two before we can begin the class lessons," the teacher said to the students.
A girl raised her hand, "Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked, getting giggles from the girls in class, while batting her eyes at him.
Naruto nodded his head, as he replied "Yes I do actually. She goes to Kagurazaka Girls' Academy."
This made all the girls drop their heads in sadness, with everyone else whispering about the school his girlfriend goes to.
"Prove it blondie," Kazu said with his arms crossed.
Naruto pulled out his phone, and showed a picture of him and Will sitting on the couch.
"Ah, he got an American girlfriend, lucky" Kazu groaned, as he slammed his head on his desk.
"Anything else? Naruto asked. The teacher added, "And please make them more serious, and appropriate questions this time."
One of the boys raised his hand, and asked "What hobbies do you like?"
"Hmmm, well I like Will and trying almost anything, but I do like Digimon," Naruto said with a look at Takato.
This made Kenta and Kazu perk up, thinking that he was a newbie to the game. They gave each other smiles, as they planned to corner him at lunchtime and challenge him to a game.
"You can sit down now Mr Uzumaki. I see a free seat next to Takato," the teacher said.
Naruto gave a nod of thanks, and walked over to the desk next to Takato.
He pulled his bag off his back, and put it into a cubby nearby and he sat at his desk, before paying attention to the lesson.

(Lunchtime)
Naruto was sitting down at a table, with his lunch made by Will laid out before him. He was eating one of the sandwiches, when he looked and saw Takato walking over.
"Hey Naruto," Takato said as he sat with him.
"Hello again Takatomon," Naruto said in greeting, with a teasing smirk on his face.
Takato groaned, as he said "Please don't call me that. It's bad enough that I can't stop Guilmon calling me it."
"I'm gonna guess he hatched in the human world, and doesn't get the human world yet?" Naruto asked.
Takato nodded his head, saying "Yeah pretty much. So, how did you meet your partners? You get them to Champion Level yet?" he then asked, with an excited tone.
Naruto explained how he and Will met their partners, and shook his head to show his partners hadn't gone Champion yet.
"Well that's ok, I'm in the same boat. Just think, someday you may have Omnimon, one of the Royal Knights," Takato said, daydreaming about Omnimon being before him.
"Who?" Naruto asked, completely clueless who Omnimon was.
Takato gave Naruto a dumbfounded look, "Here, I have your Digimon's digivolution line as cards" he said, laying out the cards in question before Naruto.
Naruto looked at them, "Wow, they actually will get pretty cool huh? Wait, so they combine after Mega?"
Takato nodded, as he said "Yep. And when they're as Omnimon, they can take out regular mega level Digimon like flies."
"Good, never know when that would be useful. So Gatomon and BlackGatomon, have any interesting combos?" Naruto asked him jokingly.
"Actually yes," as Takato put down three cards.
"Angewomon, LadyDevimon and Mastemon? And why do Angewomon and LedyDevimon look human?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Lots of Digimon look like that at higher levels," Takato said to him, before he started explaining about their combined forms. "Anyway, Mastemon is actually at Omnimons level, despite being a combination of two Ultimate's."
"She a Royal Knight too?" Naruto asked him curiously.
"Nope, but she can get through any defense, since her attack always half's her enemies' power," Takato said with an excited look on his face, as though hoping to meet her one day.
"Wow, who knew the Digimon, famous for catfighting with each other, had a combination," Naruto said with a grin.
Takato laughed at this, before he nodded as that bit of the original anime was still funny to this day.
"So you have Guilmon's evolution cards?" Naruto asked him in curiosity.
"I wish, he's actually a fan creation of mine that my Digivice scanned one night," Takato said, with an upset look as he didn't know what Guilmon's Champion form would look like.
"Ah well, at least you have something to look forward to," Naruto said, as he tried to cheer Takato up.
Takato gave him a small smile, before Kazu and Kenta walked up to the table, with grins on their faces.
Hey Uzumaki, you up for a Tamer battle?" Kenta asked him.
"These two Tamers too?" Naruto asked, thinking they too had Digimon partners.
"\Yay, new friends!\" Agumon's voice yelled from Naruto's Digivice.
"\We have food to share Naruto\" Gabumon yelled out.
Kazu and Kenta looked at Naruto's Digivice in shock, and then looked at Takato, who face palmed before looking at them.
"Uh I can explain?" he said, with a sheepish look.

(After school)
Naruto, Takato, Kazu and Kenta were in a forest near the parking lot of the school.
"Ok, let's see your partner Uzumaki" Kenta said, as he gave Naruto a look.
Naruto pulled out his Digivice, and pushed a button on it making it glow as Agumon and Gabumon appeared in front of them.
The Digimon gave a yawn each and stretched themselves a bit, before seeing Kazu and Kenta looking at them in surprised shock.
"We are not worthy!" Kazu and Kenta yelled, as they continuously bowed to Naruto.
Naruto scoffed at this, "Let me guess, you want to be Tamers too?" he asked them.
They both stood back up, and gave rapid nods.
Naruto pulled out two blue cards, which made Takato's eyes widen in shock when he saw them.
Naruto then handed them over to the two boys. "Keep in mind, if you do this they are living beings so don't be assholes to them," he said with a glare.
Kazu and Kenta's eyes widened, as they realized this was a big responsibility. "Don't worry, we may be fanboys, but we are not assholes" Kazu said, as Kenta nodded in agreement.
"So how do these work?" Kenta asked, as he looked at his blue card.
"You have toy Digivices?" Takato asked them.
The boys nodded, as they pulled out their toy Digivices, modeled after season 1 of the anime.
"Ok, just scan them like normal, and think that you want a partner that fits you most" Naruto said to them, as he crossed his arms.
"How do you know?" Takato asked him, with a questioning look.
"Let's just say I have an inside source," Naruto said, while thinking of Azulongmon.
Kazu and Kenta scanned the cards, with their eyes closed so they could focus on what Digimon they wanted.
Their digivices then glowed, as they transformed into Digivices like Takato's and Naruto's, with Kazu's being brown and white while Kenta's was rose and white, and their Digimon appeared in front of them in a flash of light.
"Hiya!" A little blue Digimon with a yellow V mark on his forehead, said to Kazu with a big grin
"Hello there," a green worm Digimon said, sounding friendly to Kenta.
"Oh my god!" The two boys yelled in excitement, as they bent down to look at their partners.
"Ah cool, those two are perfect for partnering up like you two like to do" Takato said with a smile.
Naruto's Digivice lit up, and showed images of the two new Digimon. "Veemon and Wormmon huh? Weren't they in season 2?" Naruto asked, as he didn't watch season 2 yet.
Takato nodded his head, "And it's another fusion duo" he said with a grin.
"The best ones of season 2," Kenta said as he hugged Wormmon with a smile.
"Absolutely!" Kazu said happily, as he and Veemon were running around.
"Azulongmon must be wanting to power up the good side for later" Naruto thought, as another fusion duo was too much of a coincidence for him.
"Hi!" Veemon said, as he stopped running and looked at Agumon and Gabumon.
"Hey," Agumon said as Gabumon waved.
"So, how do we keep our Digimon in our Digivices?" Takato asked Naruto curiously.
Naruto pointes at the button on the Digivice, and explained it to his friend.
Suddenly his phone buzzed, and he answered it. "Hello?" he asked.
{"Hey, where are you? You owe me a sundae mister!"} Will's voice called out over the phone.
"Time to go you guys," Naruto said to his Digimon partners, as he used his Digivice to store them in it again.
"Here's mine, and the others' numbers" Takato said, as he handed Naruto three slips of paper.
"Good, we can set up training together," Naruto said, as he got on his motorcycle and strapped his helmet on, before heading off to collect Will.
"Hey, you two wanna meet my Digimon partner, and go on patrol for wild Digimon?" Takato asked Kazu and Kenta.
They both gave nods, saying "Sure thing."

(With Will)
"So, you wanna come with me for ice cream?" Will asked Rika, as she and her waited for their rides home.
Rika scoffed at this, as she said "No way. I have more important things to do anyway."
"Like patrol for wild ones? We are gonna do that too, after having some ice cream. So you should relax every once in a while" Will said to her. "Besides if you are gonna patrol, you should have backup especially since Digimon play for keeps. This isn't like the anime or the game ya know" she added at the end.
Renamon appeared on a tree branch near them. "She has a point Rika, and having some backup might help defeat them easier and quicker," Renamon said.
"Fine, but only until you reach Ultimate Level, or at least Champion" Rika said with a huff.
"Oh good, that answers my question about how strong you are," Will said with a grin.
"Well, we can't all have two partners and Champions at that" Rika said bitterly.
"Relax, you will get there eventually" Will said, as she laid a hand on Rika's shoulder.
"Don't touch me," Rika said, as she slapped Will's hand off her shoulder.
"Hey, I'm only trying to be friendly here" Will said as she held her hands up.
Rika just turned her head away, while crossing her arms over her chest. Will just sighed, as she looked at Renamon who just gave a shrug at Rika's attitude.
It was a few minutes later, when Naruto finally arrived on his motorcycle.
"Hey Will how did your first day go?" Naruto asked her with a smile.
"Pretty boring actually, but I have convinced Red here to go on patrol and to train with us" Will said, as she looked over at Rika while giving her a smile.
"Good, I can tell she has potential to be great," Naruto said as he too gave a smile.
Rika smiled a little hearing that, before she composed herself. "So how are we gonna get around, whiskers? You can't carry both me, and your girlfriend around on your bike," she said to him.
Naruto just gave her a look, "Shit" he said as she had a point.
"I can get back home, and grab my moped. I'll meet you two at that ice cream place" Will said, as she ran off and started jumping the tree tops, as she headed in the direction of their apartment.
Rika watched her go with wide eyes, as she didn't expect anyone to move like that. Renamon too watched in surprise, while thinking "She moves almost as good as a Ninjamon."
"Well let's go," Naruto said, handing her a helmet.
Rika looked at the helmet, and was about to make a remark when she saw a limo approaching the school. "Crap" she grumbled, as she snatched the helmet from him and put her backpack in the satchel on the bike, and got on behind Naruto. "Go!" she said urgently.
"Can I ask why?" Naruto asked.
"I'll explain when we get away, now just drive" Rika told him, as the limo was just about to go through the gates.
Naruto shrugged, as he started the bike and took off making Rika hug Naruto tightly in surprise.
Inside the limo, a woman watched this in shock. "My little girl is dating a delinquent?!" she yelled out in worry, as in her mind a motorcycle was a bad sign.
As Naruto and Rika drove away, Rika slightly looked back and gave a sigh of relief that the limo wasn't following them.
"So, who was that? Someone I need to prank for you, so they stop stalking you to try and get a date?" Naruto yelled over the engine.
"I wish it was something like that. It's my mom, and she was most likely coming to pick me up, so that she'd try and get me to be in one of her photo shoots with her" Rika yelled back. Renamon was able to keep up with the bike, as she stealthy ran on the rooftops and over other vehicles, even jumping from the roofs of said vehicles.
"That's nice of her," Naruto yelled, with a smile.
"How do you figure?" Rika yelled to him questionly.
"Well, obviously your mom loves you and wants to spend time with you" Naruto said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I wouldn't be against spending time with her, if she didn't try to make me a mini her,'' Rika said with a scowl.
"Ah, she doesn't get the tomboy thing huh?" Naruto said
"Oh you have no idea. She's always trying to get me to wear dresses, and do other girly things" Rika said to him, as they stopped at some traffic lights.
"Well, it's what she knows. You should try and actually talk to her, instead of being snarky, no offense. But, some people may find that unsettling, not me I just find it cute" Naruto said with a smile
Rika blushed, before she hit him in the back of his shoulder for that remark.
Naruto didn't respond, except to laugh at her attempt to be tough.

(Ice cream place)
"You sure you can eat all that Will?" Naruto asked, as the waiter brought a big sundae for her.
Will rubbed her hands together, along with licking her lips as she replied "You know I love these, so don't try to stop me, you ramen addict."
Naruto just raised his hands up, and said "Okay. Just don't blame me if you end up with a massive brain freeze or something."
"So, how did school go for you, anything interesting happen?" Will asked as she ate, ignoring Naruto.
"Well, we have two more Tamers now," Naruto said with a smile.
Rika looked up from her menu in surprise, hearing this as she asked "What are their partners?"
"Get this, they are a fusion duo from season two of the anime, according to one of them the best combo team" Naruto said to the girls.
"Veemon and Wormmon?" Rika asked slightly intimidated, as she knew Imperialdramon was a big threat.
Naruto nodded, saying "Yep that's them." He then gained a look of remembrance, before looking at Will as he said "Oh, and apparently our Digimon can also combine if they get strong enough."
Will looked up in interest, as she swallowed the ice cream in her mouth before asking "Oh, and what do they combine into?"
"Omnimon and Mastemon" Rika said, as she sounded bored
Naruto gave her a questioning look, as he asked "How'd you know that?"
"I'm the best card player in Japan. I would know that, just from seeing who your partners are whiskers," Rika replied, with a look that she was a little smug.
"Wow, a tomboy and a nerd" Will said with a teasing smirk.
Rika gave her a hard glare at this, but then looked at Naruto. "So, when do we go on patrol?" she asked him, wanting to get down to business.
Before Naruto could answer, when his and the others Digivice beeped.
Naruto pulled out his Digivice, as an arrow appeared pointing in the direction of the park. "Looks like now, so Will you better finish up so that we can go stop this wild one," Naruto said.
Will gave a nod, as she finished her ice cream and Naruto paid the bill, before they headed off to the park.

(Park)
"Those idiots," Naruto grumbled as he saw Takato, Kazu and Kenta were trying to fight a tribe of 8 Apemon on their own
"A tribe of Champion Level Digimon, they have no chance" Rika said.
"Then let's help them," Will said, as she and Naruto summoned their Digimon partners from their Digivices.
The Apemon banged their chests in rage at being challenged, before they all ran at the Tamers.
"You two, catch!" Rika yelled, as she threw two cards at Kazu and Kenta, as they caught them.
They both looked at who threw the cards at them, and almost fainted when they realised who it was.
"Fanboy later, focus now!" Naruto yelled, as his Digimon started to attack.
Two of the Apemon both said, "Angry Spike" as they had their metallic body fur hardened, and shot them out.
Kazu and Kenta looked at the cards they were given, and smiled at what they were as they were perfect for evening the odds in their favor. They then scanned the cards they had.
["Digi-Modify: Digi-Egg of Courage Activate!"] Kazu yelled out.
["Digi-Modify: Digi-Egg of Kindness Activate!"] Kenta yelled out.
Their Digivices glowed, along with their partners.
"Veemon Armor Digivolve to: Flamedramon!" Veemon called out.
"Wormmon Armor Digivolve to: Bucchiemon!" Wormmon called out.
Flamedramon was a bipedal creature that had blue skin, that looks like a grown version of Veemon. It was wearing armor on its face, chest, thighs, hands, and feet. It had a blade-like spike protruding from its mask like a horn, and claws from its hands. The armor was covered with flame-like designs, and it was also wearing belts on its upper arms.
Bucchiemon was a green fairy-esque creature with a heart-shaped motif. It has a red-colored orb on its chest, with its face, chest, arms and legs being white while the rest is a green colour. The soles of its feet have pink hearts on them.
The two of them jumped at the Apemon, with Bucchiemon saying "Heartner Beam" as he fired a beam of light from the orb in his chest, that hit one of the Apemon and made it lose its angry look as it calmed down. Flamedramon then said "Fire Rocket" as he shot out balls of fire at it, which knocked it back as it broke into data.
"Cool!" Takato yelled, as he took out a card where he swiped it through his Digivice, as he said ["Digi-Modify: Hyperpower Activate!"]
Guilmon's mouth glowed brightly, as he took aim at an Apemon. "Pyro Sphere!" he yelled, as he fired his attack which tore through the Apemon, turning it into bits of data.
Rika grabbed a card, and swiped it through her Digivice while saying ["Digi-Modify: MetalGreymon Claw Activate!"]
Renamon's claws turned bulky, and made of metal as she used her better speed to run past an Apemon, and slashed at him before she came to a stop behind him. A few seconds later, a slash mark appeared on the Apemon, before he roared as he was turned into data.
Agumon and Gabumon were working together to wear down the two Apemon, currently attacking them.
The Apemon raised their bone clubs, as they said together "Bone Strike" while swinging them down at the two smaller Digimon.
They both leapt to the sides to avoid being hit, as Naruto took out a card and swiped it through both sides of his Digivice, as he said ["Digi-Modify: Pegasusmon Equus Beam Activate."]
Both Digimon said, "Equus Beam" as they fired a beam of energy from their mouths, which hit both the Apemon, piercing through the ape Digimon.
"Lightning Paw!/Lightning Kick!" the Gatomon sisters yelled, as they instantly defeated their opponents.
Rika was impressed with how efficient Naruto and Will's Digimon were.
"Diamond Storm!" Renamon yelled from the air, attacking the final Apemon, who tried to shield itself from the attack. The Diamond Storm attack created a dust cloud around the Apemon, which hid it from everyone's view. Renamon landed back on the ground, as everyone stood ready in case it charged out of the dust cloud to attack.
What no one noticed though, was that Calumon was nearby watching the fight and that the red triangle on his forehead glowed.
Naruto felt something bad coming from the smoke. "Everyone get back, now!" Naruto yelled out to them.
As they all backed away from the smoke, a figure leapt at Renamon and struck her sending her flying into a tree.
The figure was a freshly evolved Gokuwmon, who stood in a fighting stance with his staff across his back.
"Oh man, an Ultimate Level Digimon," Takato said, slightly worried as he looked at his Digivice.
"Takato, Kazu, Kenta you three stand down, now" Naruto said, leaving no room for argument. Will, you and your partners go help Renamon and protect Rika
Will gave a nod, before asking "What about you?" hoping that he wasn't going to do anything crazy or stupid.
Naruto pulled out a card, ["Digi-Modify: Warp Digivolution Activate!"] he said, as he scanned the card through both sides of his Digivice.
"That's a legendary card!" Kenta yelled in shock.
"What's it do?" Takato asked, curiously.
"It allows the user to warp to Mega Level for one attack" Kazu said, making Takato look at Naruto in shock.
Agumon and Gabumon lit up, with a massive amount of energy.
"Agumon Warp-Digivolve to: WarGreymon!"
"Gabumon Warp-Digivolve to: MetalGarurumon!"
Gokuwmon looked at the Mega Level Digimon, with no fear in his eyes.
"Only chance, stand down or join your friends" Naruto said, with a hard look.
"I'm no coward, unlike some of you humans" Gokuwmon replied as he looked at Takato and the other two with disdain.
"You make one move, and you forfeit your life" Naruto said, as he could tell he wanted to attack his friends.
"I won't attack them, they are weak. But, I will take the Renamon with me, she is worthy of a warrior's death" Gokuwmon said, as he charged at Will and Rika who were defending Renamon.
"She's going nowhere pal," WarGreymon replied, as he got in the way. "Brave Shield!" he yelled, blocking the attack, sending Gokuwmon flying into the air
"Take the shot!" Naruto yelled to MetalGarurumon
"Grace Cross Freezer!" MetalGarurumon yelled, as he fired a barrage of missiles at Gokuwmon, which struck him for a direct hit killing him instantly.
"Good job you two," Naruto said as he gave them a thumbs up, and in a flash his Digimon had flashed back to there in training forms.
"Aw, now we have to wait to Digivolve again," Koromon whined with a pout, as Tsunomon nodded in agreement.
"Relax, a good meal and some sleep and you should be back to Rookie Level by morning" Will said with a smile.
"I want pizza!" Tsunomon yelled, as him and Koromon jumped excitedly into the air.
Naruto gave a good natured laugh, as he said "Okay and you can consider it a reward, for a job well done."
He then saw Rika trying to help Renamon up, and walked over. "Here," he said, handing her a card.
Rika looked at the card, and saw it was a Magnaangemon's Antidote card, which was a very rare healing card.
"I don't need -" Rika was saying, until Naruto pushed the card into her hands.
"Stop, just let me help you Rika," Naruto said, as he gave her a look that said he cared about her.
Rika blushed lightly, but took the card and scanned it, healing Renamon instantly. She went to hand the card back to Naruto, but he shook his head.
"Keep it," Naruto said with a smile.
Rika was shocked he would give her such a rare card. "Why are you being so nice to me, what's your angle whiskers?" she asked him, with a slightly suspicious look.
Naruto laughed, as he waved a hand in the air saying "No angle, I just want to help a friend."
Will smiled hearing that, as she gave a nod of agreement while saying "And to be honest, you look like you could do with a few friends."
Rika scoffed at this, but she wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to Naruto.
"Your phone number?" Naruto asked her, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, if we are gonna be friends we need to be in contact right?" Rika asked, as she gave him a flat look.
"Awwww, you do like us" Will teased, before she moved as though to give Rika a hug.
"Touch me, and you're dead" Rika said to her, as she blocked Will by putting a palm out to keep her away.
Will playfully pouted, along with crossing her arms over her chest.
"Thanks for the cards Rika," Kazu said, as he and the other two walked over. Kenta gave her a nod, thankful to have a powerful card already.
"Well, I figured since you are whiskers students, that I should help you out. Plus, I can't use those cards anyway as they don't really suit me" Rika said.
"You have the Golden Digi-Egg of Miracles?" Kazu asked with a hopeful look.
"Tell you what, reach Champion Level and get a hit on one of whiskers partners, and I'll give each of you a rare card" Rika said, hoping to motivate them.
Both Kenta and Kazu looked at each other, and both said "Let's get to training!" As they took off with their Digimon partners, to get as much training done as possible.
"Those two are gonna cause headaches," Will said as she rubbed her head with her hand, as though feeling one already.
"They have potential," Naruto said, as they kind of reminded him of himself when he was younger.
"Well, I'm gonna go home now later" Rika said, as she gave them a wave before walking off.
"Hold on, I can give you a ride home Rika" Naruto said.
Rika stopped, as though thinking about it. "Fine, lead the way whiskers," she said before thinking "My mom is so gonna freak out."
Will smiled, watching Naruto and Rika walk to where his bike was parked.
"I'm hungry," BlackGatomon whined as she held her stomach, which was growling.
"Ok ok, let's all go home and order pizza, while we wait for Naruto" Will said, while looking at her and Naruto's partner Digimon.
"Yay, pizza pizza" both Koromon and Tsunomon said together, while jumping up and down in excitement.

(With Rika's Mom)
Rumiko was pacing about in her living room, with her mother watching her amused.
"Dear, I'm sure that Rika is doing fine," Rika's Grandma, Seiko, said with a smile.
"But mother, she was riding a motorcycle with him like a delinquent," Rumiko said as she had a worried look on her face.
"You're just mad she found a way to avoid another attempt of yours, to make her go to a photo shoot" Rika's Grandma said with a smile, as she was happy Rika was so crafty.
Rumiko pouted hearing this, as she just wanted Rika to bond with her as she was scared of losing her.
As she was pacing, she said to herself "I just hope that nothing bad has happened to my little girl, and that boy she left the school with."
"Oh I'm sure they just had an ice cream or something together," Seiko said, before adding "The only way Rika would be an actual delinquent, was if she came home wearing a bikers jacket and some tattoos on her."
"Stop trying to scare me for your amusement, Mother!" Rumiko said, as she scowled at her Mother's smile.
They suddenly heard the engine of a motorcycle outside, with Rumiko immediately turning around and leaving the room with a march, with Seiko not far behind her and going at a more sedate pace.
They both went to the front door, and when they opened the door they saw Rika talking to a blonde boy and they finally saw him for the first time.
"My my my, Rika has good taste in getting a boyfriend" Seiko said with a smile.
Rumiko gave a nod, as she too found the boy to be quite handsome.
They saw the boy wave goodbye to Rika, and then take off again on his motorcycle and Rika turned to the entrance, and saw her Mother and Grandmother watching from the front door.
"So Rika, who was that boy?" Rumiko asked her.
"Nobody," Rika said, hoping they would drop it.
"Oh come on now, you don't ride a motorcycle with just anyone" Seiko said with a grin.
Rika sighed at this, as she didn't have it in her to be mean to her Grandmother. "He's a … friend I made."
"Oh? And does this 'friend' have a name?" Seiko asked her with a teasing grin.
"Naruto Uzumaki" Rika said, as she entered the house with her Mom and Grandmother following after her.
"Like the ramen topping?" Rumiko asked, with a raised eyebrow.
Rika thought about that and laughed. "Good one Mum."
"I think it may mean maelstrom too," Seiko said with a finger on her chin in thought.
"That actually makes sense, since he's reckless when his friends are in trouble" Rika said, as she put her backpack away.
"How so?" Rumiko asked her curiously.
"He made some punk leave me alone," Rika said thinking of Gokuwmon, and what he almost did to Renamon.
"Oh like a knight in shining armor in those fairytales" Rumiko said as she had a dreamy look on her face.
Rika scoffed, "More like a Ninja" she said.
"Ah, you like the mysterious type huh?" Seiko said with a grin.
Rika blushed hearing this, "I - I don't like that idiot!" she stuttered out.
"You may say that, but your blushing face says otherwise" Seiko said cheekily.
"Well, if he's the type to defend my little girl, I should invite him to dinner one night," Rumiko said.
Rika's face went as red as her hair hearing this, "Oh dear god no!" she thought, the very idea of that scaring her.
"That's a fantastic idea, Rumiko," Seiko said with a happy grin.
"Traitor" Rika grumbled, as she covered her face with her hands.
"You wouldn't happen to have his phone number, would you?" Rumiko asked her.
Rika froze hearing that, as Naruto had given her his number as soon as he'd dropped her off.
"Great you can invite him," Rumiko said with a smile.
Rika almost looked as though she wanted the ground to open up, and swallow her with how embarrassing this was.
Renamon was watching this from the trees nearby, and with a small smile she thought "Human's may be weird, but in a good way."

(With Naruto)
Naruto was almost home, when he saw a man with sunglasses blocking his way to his apartment. The man was also playing with a lighter, as he kept flicking the lid open and closed.
"Can I help you?" Naruto asked with a look at the man, as he felt some ill intent but nothing truly evil.
The man closed the lighter, "I wanted to ask if you knew anything about the very powerful monsters that showed up in the park?" he asked Naruto.
"Shit, he must have meant the Mega forms of Agumon and Gabumon," Naruto thought as Mega Level Digimon, even for a moment, would get the attention of anyone.
He didn't know what the mans intentions were, so he decided to play dumb and gauge what the man's reaction would be.
"Before you lie to me, you may want to know I know about your fellow 'Tamers' boy" the man said, with air quotes and disdain in his voice as he said Tamers.
Naruto was surprised at this, as he'd thought that they were being careful enough to not be spotted by anyone.
"I'll admit, you and Miss Vandom are very good at keeping the wild ones contained. But recruiting others to help, is a foolish idea" the man said
Naruto crossed his arms over his chest, and raised an eyebrow as he said "Oh? And why is it foolish, especially since 'Many hands make light work' as the saying goes."
"Your recruiting civilians into a war, eventually more powerful Digimon will try to attack, and your friends will get hurt one way or another," the man explained.
"Then I will train them, and their partners so they are ready for anything," Naruto told him, with a hard look at the man.
The man scoffed at this, as he said "You have no idea what you are getting into, boy."
I know a lot more than you think. Now will you please get lost, I have a dinner appointment at my apartment" Naruto told him with a glare.
The man just gave him a hard look, as he turned and walked away.
Naruto looked at him walking, and thought "I should make sure the others know to avoid that guy," as he approached his apartment.
He parked his bike away, and headed up to his apartment could hear a ruckus going on in there, and when he entered he saw the Digimon eating a stack of pizzas.
"So, you meet the government stiff?" Will asked, sounding bored as she ate her pizza.
"He came here?" Naruto asked, as he got some pizza of his own.
"Will scoffed, as she answered "Yea for a moment, before the Gatomon sisters hissed at him, until he left."
"Pansy" Gatomon said with a smile, as her sibling laughed at the memory.
Naruto gave a smile at this, as he sat down with Will, to eat and enjoy each other's company before they went to bed.

(Next day)
After eating breakfast, and glad that Koromon and Tsunomon had returned to being Agumon and Gabumon, Naruto had dropped Will off at her school again before heading off to his. The lessons were quite good, and he had a great time with the Physical education class, as they played baseball which he found to be fun.
He was currently eating lunch when he saw Takato, Kazu and Kenta approaching his table
"So what's the plan today, leader?" Takato asked him, as he sat down next to Naruto.
Naruto raised an eyebrow, saying questionly "What makes you think I'm the leader of this group?"
"You are helping us with training, and are the most capable by a long shot" Kazu said, as though it was obvious.
"Well, better me then someone else'' Naruto said. "Anyway, I was thinking we start training together, maybe try and get all to Champion Level."
"You gonna invite Rika?" Kenta asked him.
"Her, and another Tamer I met recently. As I'm thinking, the more help we have, the better our chances are of beating the wild Digimon," Naruto said to them, as the conversation he had with that strange man last night was still on his mind.
"Oh cool, another Tamer. Who's his partner?" Takato asked with a smile.
"His partner is Terriermon," Naruto replied. As he ate, the others were surprised to hear this as they knew Terriermon was a precious Digimon.
"Oh cool," Kazu said with a nod.
The other two nodded as well, with Naruto adding "I think you'll get along great with him, as he's a pretty swell guy."
They all continued to eat their lunch, before Naruto saw Henry walking over with Terriermon hanging onto his shoulder.
Naruto gave him a wave, saying "Hey Henry, happy to have you join us."
Henry gave him a nod, as he said "Hello again Naruto." He then looked at the others, who were looking at him in awe, as they didn't think they'd be meeting him so soon after Naruto told them about him.
"Ah yes, I guess that introductions are in order," Naruto said. "Henry, this is Takato, Kazu and Kenta" he said while pointing to each of the boys, when he said their name. "Guys, this is Henry and Terriermon."
"Nice to meet you all," Henry said as he gave them a polite nod, while Terriermon gave them a peace sign saying "Hiya."
The three boys gave a greeting of their own each, along with a wave of their hand or a nod of the head.
"So what Digimon do you guys have as partners, and where are they?" Henry asked them, as he sat down while Terriermon hopped onto the table.
"My partner is Guilmon, and he lives in an abandoned shed in the park," Takato said.
Naruto gave him a questioning look, and asked "Why's he not in your Digivice, like I showed you?"
Takato replied, "If I did that, he'd probably never shut up as he'd always ask for food or he wants to get out." Naruto saw he had a point, and gave a nod of his head.
"I've got Veemon as my partner, and right now he's inside my Digivice," Kazu said.
"I have Wormmon as my partner, and he's inside mine," Kenta said.
Henry was surprised that these two had a Digimon partner as powerful as them. He then did a double take, after hearing what they'd said before. "Hang on, what do you mean your Digimon are inside your Digivices?" he asked questionly.
Naruto smiled, and explained the function of his Digivice to Henry and that Kazu and Kenta had the same function on theirs.
"You think mine has that functionality?" Henry asked, with a curious look.
"Not happening" Terriermon said, as he crossed his arms unhappily.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "You probably wouldn't like all the food that's inside there anyway," he said flatly with a smirk.
"You can't bribe me that easily whiskers," Terriermon said, as he gave Naruto a smug look.
Naruto laughed, "I like you, you have spunk," he said.
"Please don't encourage him," Henry said with a sigh.
"So, you gonna train with us?" Takato asked him.
"Train for what?" Henry asked, as he gave Takato a curious look.
Naruto gestured at the three boys sitting across from him, along with himself as he said "So that our Digimon can reach Champion Level."
"I can already do that," Terriermon said, sounding smug as he placed his hands on his hips.
"Why?" Henry asked, while trying to ignore Terriermon.
"So we can stop any evil Digimon that show up, of course" Kenta said, as though it was obvious.
Henry frowned hearing this, as though he knew it was the right thing to do, he thought there might be a better way.
"Ah, a pacifist" Naruto thought, as even though he didn't have sage mode anymore, he was still good at reading people's emotions. "Look Henry, I can see that you don't want to hurt anyone and I respect that, but you have to understand that some Digimon can't be talked down, and if we don't stop them then people could get badly hurt or even worse."
Takato looked at Henry, and he got what was going on. "You can trust Naruto, heck he gave an Ultimate level Digimon a chance to back down yesterday," he said to Henry, who had a look of understanding.
"Yea, we don't just attack for no reason" Kazu said, with Kenta nodding in agreement.
"Well, at least you feel that Digimon are not just bits of code and data" Henry said to them.
"Anyone who thinks that, is either misinformed or a complete jerk," Naruto said.
Over at Hypnos, the man that Naruto and Will met sneezed as he kept an eye out for any Digimon appearing in the human world.
"So, are you up to joining our team?" Kazu asked with a hopeful look.
"Yea, we could use a Joe on the team, old reliable" Kenta said with a friendly smile.
Henry smiles hearing that, and nodded to show that he was on board.
"Alright! Now I can actually get away from your sister for a bit" Terriermon said, as he gave a fist pump along with jumping into the air a bit.
Naruto just looked at Henry with a questioning look.
"My little sis, Suzy, thinks he's a plushy" Henry said.
Terriermon gave a shudder, and said "Yeah, and she dresses me up in all kinds of different outfits too."
"Well, you are a cute bunny," Kenta said, with a teasing smile.
"I'm a Digimon, not a toy!" Terriermon declared loudly.
Henry was quick to cover his mouth, while looking around to see if anyone heard him.
"Keep it down, princesses pretty pants" Henry said, making Terriermon try and get loose even more.
The other boys gave a snicker at hearing that, as Naruto said "I take it, that's what your sister calls him?"
"Yea, she loves Terriermon and always says she wished she had her own," Henry said.
Naruto gained a thoughtful look, "Hopefully the DigiGnomes don't hear her" he thought, as he wasn't comfortable with the thought of a little kid with a Digimon partner.
Suddenly Naruto's phone went off, and when he looked at his phone he saw it was Will calling him.
He answered it, saying "Hello?"
{"We have a problem!"} Will said over the phone, with a slight panic in her tone.
"Wild ones?" Naruto asked, while getting the attention from the other boys.
{"A squad of 4 Ninjamon at the park,"} Will called out over the phone.
"On our way, do your best to stop them," Naruto said, as he stood up with the others doing the same.
{"Me, Guilmon and Rika will hold the fort until you get here"" Will said, as she hung up.
"Guilmon must have smelled the Ninjamon, and ran over to try and fight them," Takato said, glad that he was helping but worried since he wasn't there to give Guilmon powerups.
"How are we going to get there anyway? Plus, it's lunchtime on a school day" Kenta said worriedly.
Naruto sighed, and made a hand sign as he made 5 clones appear.
"What the heck?" Takato asked in shocked surprise.
"I'll explain later, these can pose as ya while we take care of this" Naruto said. "Damn, that took half my stamina to do" he thought, as his abilities were very limited now.
The others gave nods, before they all ran for the park.

(With Will)
"These guys are too fast," Will said, clearly getting annoyed.
Rika nodded, as she said "I agree."
"That all you got fox?" A Ninjamon yelled out, as it blindsided Renamon with a barrage of shuriken. Renamon dodged them by blackflipping, and somersaulting with only a few lightly scratching her.
The Ninjamon was not amused at this, and then looked at Rika with a grin. "Fine, I'll go for your pet human" he said as he threw more shuriken at Rika.
Renamon instantly ran to block Rika from the attack, and got hit in the back.
"AAAAHHHH!" she yelled out, as she fell to the ground.
"Renamon!" Rika shouted, she ran to her partner.
"Ha! I knew you would fall for that," the Ninjamon said, feeling smug at beating a partner Digimon.
Renamon looked up at Rika. "Are you ok?" she asked, as she raised one of her hands to Rika.
"Why did you do that?" Rika asked, as she grabbed the hand.
"We are partners, right?" Renamon said, like it was the most obvious thing.
Rika's eyes widened in surprise hearing this, before she nodded her head saying "Yeah I guess we are."
Suddenly, her Digivice started glowing which caused the Ninjamon to block their eyes as they gave out cries of surprise.
"\Digivolution:\" Rika's digivice said, as Renamon started to glow.
"Renamon digivolve to: Kyubimon!"
"Oh Kurama will love this," Will thought, seeing the newly evolved Digimon. She got her Digivice out, and used it to look up Kyubimon's info. "Kyubimon is a Mythical Animal Champion Digimon. It is feared to be a harbinger of destruction and decay, but in ancient times, it was said to be revered as an emissary of peace. It lacks attack power, but it's said to possess a powerful will force and is proficient in spellcraft. It's known to gallop across the heavens using limbs coated in blue flames. Watch out for its Dragon Wheel and Fox Tail Inferno."
"You think Digivolving will help you?" the Ninjamon that attacked asked unafraid. "We still outnumber you."
"Not anymore," Naruto said, as him and the others arrived to help. He, Kazu and Kenta then released their Digimon from their Digivices.
Naruto looked at Rika and Kyubimon and smiled. "Congratulations you two," he said.
Rika blushed at that, as she gave him a nod.
"_Woah, now that's a hot vixen!_" Kurama yelled from Naruto's subconscious, obviously referring to Kyubimon.
Naruto just sweatdropped at Kurama saying that, as he thought to him "I can't believe that after being asleep since we've come here, now is the time that you finally wake up and the first thing you do is go all gaga on a female fox Digimon."
"_Don't judge me_" Kurama said, as he gave a huff while turning his head away.
"Too late," he thought, before he got back to fighting the Ninjamon. He gave a groan, as he figured that the Ninjamon he and Will fought last time were either a scouting party of this group, or they were part of a different Ninjamon group.
"Ah more tamers, good thing I'm prepared for that" the Ninjamon leader said as he snapped his fingers, which caused two forms to appear behind him.
"Tyrannomon's" Henry said, as he looked at his Digivice showing what Digimon they were. "Tyrannomon is a Champion Level Dinosaur Digimon, and it's a Digimon shaped like an ancient dinosaur from the prehistoric times. Its two developed arms and massive tail can mow down everything and anything. It has intelligence along with a docile personality, so it's pretty easy to tame. Watch out for their Slash Claw, which will tear you to ribbons, and Fire Breath as it breathes out intense flames."
Terriermon jumped off his shoulder, and landed in front of the Ninjamon. "Time to stretch my fighting muscles," he said as Henry's Digivice glowed engulfing him.
"\Digivolution:\" Henry's digivice called out.
"Terriermon digivolve to: Gargomon!"
Naruto used his Digivice to see what info there was about Gargomon. "Gargomon is an Animal Digimon, Champion Level. It's known as a Hunter Digimon skilled in hunting. Despite its outward appearance, it uses attacks that are of unparalleled accuracy, that reliably bring down the opponent with its nimble movements. Its leg strength is known to be strong enough for it to jump sky high, and it also spreads out its ears to glide. Its attacks are Gargo Laser and Bunny Pummel."
The Tyrannomon roared, as they marched towards Agumon and Guilmon.
"Damn, they see them as the bigger threat since they're reptiles too" Rika said.
Naruto nodded at Agumon and Gabumon, as he pulled out a card. ["HyperSpeed Activate"] he said, as he scanned the card.
Both of them ran towards a Tyrannomon so fast, that they almost got close when the Tyrannomon swung their tails at them, and sent them flying into some trees.
"Weaklings," the Tyrannomon said as they laughed.
Naruto ran over to them, and saw them struggling to get up. "You two ok?" Naruto asked, worried about them.
"We will be fine," Agumon groaned as he struggled to stand.
Gabumon nodded, as he leaned against the tree and used it to try and stand up.
The two Tyrannomon were approaching them, and Naruto looked at them and stood in front of them, with his arms spread out.
"You're not getting past me, you overgrown lizards," Naruto said with determination in his eyes.
Agumon and Gabumon saw this, and groaned as they finally pushed themselves to get up.
Naruto's Digivice started glowing brightly, which caused the Tyrannomon to stop their advance.
"\Digivolution:\" Naruto's Digivice said, as it engulfed his Digimon.
"Agumon digivolve to: Greymon!"
"Gabumon digivolve to: Garurumon!"
"It's about damn time," Will said, as she scanned them with her Digivice.
"Greymon is a Champion Level Dinosaur Digimon. Greymon's cranial skin has become so hard that it is covered in a rhinoceros beetle-like shell. It is an extremely aggressive Digimon, with a body like a lethal weapon that's covered in sharp claws and gigantic horns. However, it is also highly intelligent, and if you're able to tame it then you probably won't find any monster as strong. It's attack Nova Blast is strong enough to reduce everything to ashes, and watch out for the Great Horns Attack."
"Garurumon is an Animal Digimon, that's Champion Level. It is covered in blue, white, and silver-colored fur that's as hard as "Mithril'', which is called a legendary rare metal. And since the blades are growing from the tips of its shoulders and have sharp edges, anything that gets touched by them is instantly cut to pieces. Since it possesses a furious combat instinct and was honed in freezing lands, as well as carnivore-like agility and the accuracy to reliably bring down its targets, it is known as being feared by other Digimon. However, its intelligence is also very high, and it will faithfully obey those who it recognizes as its master or leader. Its Howling Blaster and Subzero Ice Fang are something to be aware of."
Greymon and Garurumon growled at the Tyrannomon, making them back up slightly but not back down.
"What do you say we show these lizard brains what we can do?" Greymon asked Garurumon.
Garurumon gave a savage grin, as he replied "I like the way you think" before he pounced on one of them, with Greymon charging at the other and slammed his hands into it, as they tried to over power each other.
Meanwhile, Gargomon and Kyubimon were trying to pin down the Ninjamon that were jumping around the place.
"We need a way to slow them down!" Henry yelled out, in case anyone had any ideas.
Kenta smiled as he had an idea "Wormmon!" he yelled, with Wormmon nodding as he knew what Kenta wanted.
"Sticky net!" Wormmon yelled, as he started shouting out webs from his mouth.
The sticky nets covered the trees, and instantly caught the Ninjamon.
"Dogpile!" Gatomon yelled, as she and her sibling attacked one Ninjamon, turning it into data bits.
Gargomon rained fire at a Ninjamon, who was unable to dodge and was turned into data.
Kyubimon attacked with her Fox Tail Inferno, with the webbing getting caught on fire as it travelled to the Ninjamon and burned him. It got loose, and tried to jump at Kyubimon.
"Vee Headbutt!" Veemon yelled, as he tackled the burned Ninjamon sending him into a tree, and as it fell it turned into data.
"Well that takes care of the Ninjamon," Will said, as she dusted off her hands.
"Now whiskers just needs to finish off the two Tyrannomon," Rika said.
Over with Naruto and his partners, they were still fighting against the two Tyrannomon. Greymon and the one he was fighting against, were in what looked to be some kind of wrestling match as they were punching, headbutting, kicking and slamming their tails into each other. Garurumon was running around his one, dodging its Fire Breath attack while attacking himself with his Subzero Ice Fang, and quickly getting away before Tyrannomon could use its Slash Claw on him.
This was making both the Tyrannomon very angry, with one saying "Stay still weakling!"
Garurumon growled, and dodged the incoming flames and he finally had an opening. "Howling Blaster!" he yelled, as he fired his attack from his mouth striking the Tyrannomon in the face, which made it give a grunt at being hit..
Guilmon decided he wanted to help, and took aim. "Pyro Sphere!" he yelled, as he fired striking the Tyrannomon in the eye who gave a roar of pain, as he turned into data
Greymon was still in a wrestling match, and when he finally got a good grip he tossed the Tyrannomon into a few trees that fell on him holding him down.
"Nova Blast" Greymon yelled, as he attacked with a large ball of fire at the pinned Tyrannomon. It struggled to get out from under the trees, but wasn't fast enough before the fireball hit it making an explosion that turned him into data particles.
"Good job everyone," Naruto said, proud of his team, as they all did fantastic working together.
Rika put her hands on her hips, while giving a look at Naruto. "Does this make us a team now?" she asked him, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, from what I can see, the wild Digimon are starting to team up, so we should probably work together as well," Naruto said while shrugging his shoulders.
"Oh cool! We are like the DigiDestined! Kenta said with a big smile.
"So who's the team leader? As I think Tai was in season 1, before Davis took over in season 2," Kazu said.
"Naruto," Will, Takato, Henry and surprisingly Rika all said together.
"Well if you are all voting for me, then I may as well take the job" Naruto said as he watched the Digivolved Digimon turn back to their Rookie forms.
"Well, you're the most experienced of all of us, so it makes the most sense" Henry said, as Terriermon climbed up to his shoulder.
"Who's second in charge?" Kenta asked, curiously.
"Will" Naruto said almost immediately, with certainty in his voice.
"Well, she has partners that are Champions by default" Takato said with a nod, as he petted Guilmon, who leaned into his touch.
"Come on you four, we have to get back to school before the teachers notice something," Henry said. The other boys nodded, and turned to leave the park.
"Same here, Rika let's go" Will said, as she and Rika took off.
"See ya later Guilmon, I'll bring you some food later" Takato said, as the boys ran back to school.
"Yay! Yummy bread !" Guilmon said childishly, with his arms raised in the air. He then headed back to the shed, which was good as a few minutes later some black vans showed up. Some men climbed out of them, and surrounded the boys with the boss of them stepping forward, and it was the same man Naruto had met the night before.
"Little late, aren't you?" Naruto said, looking at the man who was still playing about with his lighter.
"Looks like this fight got away from you a bit," the man said looking at the damage the park took from the battle.
Naruto gave a shrug, as he said "No battle goes exactly how you want it, no matter how well planned you are."
Agumon and Gabumon growled at the men surrounding them, while Terriermon was doing his best to look intimidating.
"Look, we can do this the easy way; where you tell your men to back off, or we do this the fun way where we go to the police, and make you look like criminals trying to kidnap teens," Naruto said with a hard look.
"And how would you explain the monsters?" the man said with a smug look.
The boys besides Takato helped up their Digivices, and made their Digimon disappear into them.
"What monsters?" Naruto said cheekily.
Kazu and Kenta laughed at this, as the men backed down as now they had the advantage.
"Ugh, I hate smart kids" the man grumbled, as he put his lighter away. He then signalled the men to get back in the vans, before he said to Naruto "Try to be less sloppy Uzumaki."
"Noted, now get lost" Naruto said with a hard look, as the men left.
"Dude, since when are you that intimidating?" Kazu asked in awe.
"Well, a leader needs to be able to be intimidating right?" Naruto said with a smile. He then blinked, "Oh looks like schools out."
"How do you know?" Takato asked him with a curious look.
"My clones that were posing as us faded after school was let out, and when they fade what they learned goes to me" Naruto explained to them.
"Must make homework easy" Kenta said, with a slightly jealous look.
Naruto shook his head, replying "Yeah, but it gives me a major headache if they learn too much, before they disappear. And speaking of homework, we all have to read the next chapter for history" he added, which made Takato, Kazu and Kenta groan.
"Relax, tomorrow is Saturday so we can start training then" Naruto said, which brightened their mood up.
"\Yea, you three need to get to work, so you can Digivolve\" Terriermon's voice said from Henry's Digivice.
"Hey, we can Armor Digivolve" Kenta said, while Kazu nodded in agreement.
"Speaking of which," Naruto said as he threw Henry a card, who caught it.
Henry looked at the card, and his eyes widened. "Golden Digi-egg of Destiny?" he asked, surprised that Naruto was giving him this card as it was very rare
"It's just in case you get attacked by something more powerful, and you're alone without any help" Naruto said, as a Golden Digi-Egg would put him at high tier Ultimate Level.
"Hey, what about me?" Takato asked, hoping he would get a card too, as he was the only one that didn't get a card yet.
Naruto looked through his cards to see what would suit Takato. "Ah here we go" he said, as he threw a card to Takato, who was quick to grab it.
"Hyper wings?" he asked with a tilt of his head.
"Well, it's good to have combat options Takato, plus they increase speed in addition to mobility. Combine that with the hyperblast card, and you should have a good combo" Naruto explained to him.
This made Takato gain a thoughtful look, as he saw that Naruto had a point.
"Well, time to head home" Henry said as the sun was setting.
"Good idea, noon tomorrow you guys, we meet at Guilmon's house" Naruto said, getting nods from the others.
They then all waved bye to each other, before they walked in the directions of where they lived. Naruto went and got his bike from the school, and drove back to his apartment.
As Naruto approached his apartment and got off his bike, he saw Will approaching who smiled and ran to him.
"You won't believe this, Rika's mom likes that I'm her friend" Will said, as they both approached the door to their apartment.
Naruto unlocked the door, as he said "Wow, that's great news" as they entered the apartment.
"Rika looked like she wanted to bury herself in her yard from embarrassment though," Will said, as their Digimon appeared from their Digivices.
"Well, at least Rika was actually willing to introduce you to her mom" Naruto said with a smile, as he went to the kitchen to make dinner, which would be meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn.

"Those idiotic teens are getting annoying," the blonde man said with a scowl, as he looked at footage of Naruto and his fellow Tamers. "When will the juggernaut be ready?" he asked a woman nearby.
"In a few days, Mr Yamaki," the woman said, as she typed on a tablet in her arms.
"Good, as soon as it's ready, we can finally get rid of all those monsters in one swoop," the now revealed Yamaki said with a grin.

We've decided to do things a little differently then in the anime, and maybe keep some of the original parts from the show.
Yes, as you can see we've given Kazu and Kenta Digimon partners early, and they have Veemon and Wormmon as their partners in this.
I hope that everyone is making sure they wash their hands for 20 seconds, keep two metres from those outside your bubble, avoid large crowds, only drive anywhere if you really need to and that you sneeze and cough into your elbow.
