"It's actually Bella, Lauren, or Miss Swan, whatever you like" I'm being bitchy, I know.
Perhaps I should not act that way, in the end, her husband and I did share a thing or two behind her back.

He comes near me and wraps his arm around my waist, he's pushing it, for you of course.
"Emmett McCarty, nice to meet you" he says as he shakes Lauren's hand.
"Edgard, right?" he's acting like a smart ass, he knows your name perfectly.
"Edward Cullen." you're tight lipped.
I can feel everyone's eyes on us, it is difficult of course, to act all put together when I'm about to have an anxiety attack.
"Anyways, Bella, how does it feel to be back" Alice speaks up diffusing the attention, and the tension, for a little bit.
"I'm glad to be back" I smile at her, "The Campus feels like home, but at the same time it is so changed. Interacting with all the students help me stay on my feet and they're a joy to be around, so it's always nice to teach."
It's all true, even if it means to deal with you.
"I'm actually surprised Aro hired you, you look green Belly, i mean no disrespect but you look like a student yourself, it's hard to picture you as a pro." Lauren interjects.
"Well, I'm surprised you'd think so, Laura, because from what i gather you're not teaching at all, it'd be difficult to understand how you'd have any experience seeing who's green or who is not" Emmett is ruthless, but I'm thankful. I'm also speechless, I can't believe she'd dare.
"Miss Swan has had only positive comments so far Lauren, and I'm sure it will stay that way." Aro agrees with Emmett, he looks puzzled with so much hostility.
"Bella has been a pro even when she was a student, her analysis was superior and very profound, and I'm sure that her Master gives her an even new edge." Jasper states all too serious.
I'm humbled by the kindness but also a little stunned I'm being questioned in front of my boss.
"I'm no professor, but Bella seems witty and smart, that must be what the kids are looking in a class. I would be." Alice also agrees, her sister-in-law must hate her.
"Besides, I'm sure she perfectly knows the professor - student boundaries." she adds.
