Episode 79: Snoopy Goes On A Diet
PROLOGUE
The mysterious figure walks towards Sam's Auto Salvage Yard and looks at it from a distance. They spy the police tape all around it, as well as the outline of where Sam's body was found. It looked like no one had been there for quite some time that wasn't law enforcement. The person knew about what had happened to Sam and why his business was under investigation. In fact, they knew quite a bit about its history and all the events that had happened there.
This person seemed to have a vast knowledge about the Serpent Sisters, Spiders, Lizard Ladies, as well as Sam, Gertie, and the Scorpion and how it's all connected. This person had left vague clues so far. First was the note left at Python's gravesite, then the letter to Lucy they left at her doorstep. They were figuring out their next move and who to see next.
Meanwhile, the Scorpion's men, Brody and Butch, were keeping watch to Sam's as well. They were looking for Gertie since her escape and was seeing if she would return to her father's business to hide out. The Scorpion also had men watching Sam's house, but all kept a safe distance so not to bring attention to the law enforcement that were in the area investigating both spots. Brody's phone began to ring.
"Hey boss," he greeted. It was the Scorpion.
"Any signs of the girl yet?" asked the Scorpion on the other line.
"Not yet. It's like she's vanished into thin air."
"Well keep watch, just in case."
"Will do, boss." And Brody hung up. The men continued to monitor the junkyard, as did the mysterious figure from afar.
"Soon everyone will know the real truth about everything," they said. And the person left the scene to parts unknown. Brody and Butch got a glimpse at the person walking past.
"You see that, Butch?" asked Brody. "It's like that person was trying to stay hidden. Just caught a glimpse of their face. It looked like a teenaged girl."
"You think it was Gertie?" asked Butch.
"Nah, I know it wasn't her. But she did look familiar, though. I can't place where I saw her, but something about that face… Ah well. Let's keep watching the junkyard." And they continued to watch for Gertie.
