NA. I'm blown away by your response in the last chapter.

BPOV

THEN

It was my third year in college when your path and mine crossed again, after my first semester in your class, and especially after the talk we had I thrived under your guide, I finished that class strongly, and I became more participant with you, my crush still lingered but life did get in the way.

I was growing up and spending time doing other things, meeting new people, hanging out with Rose and becoming my own woman. I would see you around campus, always walking with your cross backpack and your glasses, and I would laugh when I looked at you, because I'd remember the first time we crossed paths and I mistook you, but we never chatted.

I knew some things about you, that was given, being such a young professor you were destined to charm some female and male students along the way, but I never really participated in the gossip, but boy did I listen.

I knew you had a girlfriend, rumor had it that she is stunning. A blonde with beautiful hair and piercing blue eyes, she was working in an art gallery downtown, and you had been together since you were in college.

She was problematic, to say the least, Rose's friend, Tanya, had done an internship at her galler and she had told us how demanding and rude she was, to everyone, even to you. She seemed to be very spoiled and loved to show you around on the art exhibitions, she knew you were handsome and she loved commanding the attention in the room through you.

I also knew that you were impossible to find on social media. Edward Drawde, that was your name, and the only picture that was public was one of you and who I think is your sister, Alice.

And most importantly, I knew we frequented the same mezcal bar downtown, it was a little place on the wall, but I had seen you, alone of course there but we had never really crossed any type of conversation with each other, Rose would often encourage me to go talk to you, but what would I say? It seemed weird and inappropriate.

"You know, you should wear that green velvet skirt that shows your legs, we might run in with Professor McSteamy." Rose tells me.

I laugh, she watches way too much Grey's Anatomy.

"How would that be relevant with me wearing the skirt Rosie?" I tell her jokingly, because i do understand what she's implying.

"Your legs are one of your best assets Bella, and you're probably never gonna have a class with him again, so I say go for it." she tells me seriously.

"He has a girlfriend Rose"

"Who we know is a bitch, I'm sure he would agree with a little bit of flirting" she winks at me.

We continue to get ready and I do end up wearing the green skirt, Rose is right, but I don't wear super high heels because then I'd tower everyone at the bar, including you.

The place is crowded and it's small space makes it even more, there's a line to get in but Rose is dating Emmett who conveniently works at the entrance, while we're getting in I look back and see you waiting in line.

You recognize me, or at least I think you do, because your eyes become larger than life, you're not alone though, I recognize Professor Whitlock with you and he taught me last semester, so I know he does remember me. You give me a little wave.

I rapidly pull Rose to me.

"He's here, the one with round glasses and a deep green shirt. Can you tell Emmett to let him go in?" I tell her quietly.

She throws her head back while laughing, I know she'll help me but I'll be teased to the end of times for this. She goes to her boyfriend and he nods quickly, calling you and your friend to go through.

Once you're in Rose and I go straight to the bar, I'm not expecting anything from you and I actually feel terribly self conscious of wearing a skirt with you in mind and you showing up. We do a shot of '400 conejos' and it's strong and it burns my throat but it gives me a little of courage and for that I am grateful.

"Miss Swan, thank you for letting us in." Professor Whitlock tells me and I turn around.

And you're there, looking handsome as ever, tired and with a mess on your hair. But right there in front of me.

"Bella please, if you're seeing me doing shots, I think we can go on first name basis." I tell him sobering.

"Then you must call me Jasper" he insists. "Have you met Professor Cullen?"

We both nod and I smile at you. "We have, in my first semester."

"Please let us buy you a drink." you tell me seriously.

"Oh there's no need."

"We'll let you for sure"

Rose and I answer at the same time. The four of us laugh, and while you order the drinks I can't help to feel like I'm way out of line.

"You know, you're graduating in a year, you've gone out with older men than him, don't be so tense." she whispers to my ear.

Meanwhile, you hand me a drink and we all do it at the same time. With two drinks, I feel warm and fuzzy, and I am sure my blush is showing. Jasper and Rose both excuse themselves to go to the restroom and I cannot look at you, you make me nervous.

"I always wondered what happened to you, you were a brilliant student."

"Well, I just continued the courses, I'm going to France this summer to do a small internship and I'll be back."

"I spent some time there while I was studying, you'll love it, I am sure." he answers kindly.

I just nod and smile. This is awkward, what are we to talk about?

We're both just waiting for them to get back and some random guy comes up to me and asks me to dance.

"No thank you, another time." I answer by trying to get rid of him.

"Oh come on, don't be such a bitch." the blonde guy tells me and he tries to pull me from my forearm.

"I think she said no" you intervene by taking his hands away from me.

"Back off dude, leave us alone." he pushes your chest.

"Hey, leave him alone!." I tell him angrily.

You pull me towards you and tell him.

"She's here with me and unless you want me to call security you better leave us alone." you tell him with an icy tone.

I look up at you surprised and shy, but it does the work and he goes away.

Touching you was electric, and I feel terribly for letting my mind wander to places it shouldn't. But when I look at your green eyes and see you concerned, I can only admit my crush is back and with full force.

NA. Another glimpse to the future, as a student myself, I did end up in a lot of bars where my younger professors where, so this does not seem too far off for me.

Were you expecting Edward and Bella to be involved from the get go? I'll love to hear your thoughts.

See you soon.
